She doesn’t trust the bond, and I don’t trust the truth—but I’ll fight the entire galaxy to keep her by my side.

I’ve been through hell since I was abducted from Earth. So when Tharaax saves me from a fate worse than death, I don’t know whether to thank him or keep my guard up. Sure, he’s strong, brooding, and devastatingly handsome, but the last thing I need is to believe in some alien soulmate nonsense—no matter how undeniable the strange marks that appear on our skin are.
I refuse to fall for fated bonds and fairy tales. But as we journey through the vastness of the universe, my walls start to crack, and I see Tharaax for who he truly is—someone as lost as I am. The more we uncover the hidden truth about the Ohrurs, the more I realize we might not survive what’s coming next.
Tharaax :
I’ve been a Space Guardian my entire life, following orders without question. Rescuing Hannah was just another mission—until it wasn’t. She’s fiery, fierce, and stubborn enough to make me question everything I thought I knew about myself.
When our mating marks appear, it’s like a part of me I didn’t know was missing snaps into place. But Hannah doesn’t trust the bond, and I can’t blame her—especially when I don’t know who I truly am. The Ohrurs are hiding secrets about my past and the more I uncover, the harder it is to escape the shadow they cast. When my minder, Possedion, discovers the truth about our marks, he programs our ship to take us back to Ohrur. Now Hannah and I are racing against time—not only to find out what they’re hiding but to decide if we’re ready to risk everything for each other… and for the truth.
A reluctant bond. A hidden past. A love worth fighting for.

Wow!!! Just wow!!!
This was soooo good!!!
An awesome space adventure, with abductions, rescues, mating, intrigue, sexy times, love, and all kinds of other things.
This is the second book in the Space Guardian’s series and while it might be better to read them all in order you don’t absolutely have to.
This is Tharaax and Hannah’s story. He is one of four Space Guardians hired, via their minders, or employers, the Ohrurs, by the Pandraxians to find and rescue any and all humans they can and bring them to the refugee planet they (the Pandraxians) have created. Tharaax has just rescued a bunch of them and delivered them to Astrionis (the refugee planet) and has sworn to himself he is not looking for any more. He was soured on humans as a species somewhat after he rescued them and all they did was complain the whole way to the other planet. He’s also lately been questioning is life, choices, memories or lack thereof, his minders, and lots of other things, like his strange dreams and his headaches when he tries to remember certain things. He’s drinking in a brothel when he sees a human woman being brought in to be a sex worker, and he’s struggling with himself whether he should intervene. She has her arms bound behind her…And when their eyes meet across the room something happens…. He’s approaching the owner of the brothel and getting angrier and angrier when he realizes the owner and a group of patrons are fighting over who gets to have her first…. When there’s a terrible scream from upstairs and Hannah appears with blue alien blood all over her face…running for her life….Tharaax gives up on negotiation and picks her up, escaping to his spaceship. He’s not super forthcoming about his reasons for rescuing her and she is done just going with the flow so they clash….a lot…but pretty quickly their Soulbond Glyphs appear….
This story is about their journey, how they decide that trying to capture and question Tharaax’s Ohrur minder Possedion to get the answers they seek is the only way forward…
They are stuck together for now as their markings don’t allow them to be physically separated without excruciating pain…so Hannah has to go with him on this mission instead of to the refugee planet….
Can they find a way to get along? Will they actually be able to capture a high ranking Ohrur when he’s guarded by an army of Space Guardians? What if Possedion finds out about the markings? Are there any others like them?

Oh this is such a fun story!!!!
As usual the writing is great!! I especially love how both Tharaax and Hannah grow and develop during this story, as well as all the other developments that happen for the overarching storyline.

Hannah was kidnapped from Earth by the Cryons. Sex trafficking, alien style. Now she's been sold. Now she's furious.
Tharaax is getting drunk. Humans! Bah! They are to whiny and needy. But there is something about her. Then he recalls that the mission is to get as many humans and get them to Astrionis, where the Emperor will reward who brings them. So he gets up and goes to the guy who's taking money for the aliens to go get the human. Only he has to fight and he does win. Then a scream and the human comes running out of the room in blue blood. He grabs her and they leave. He tells her to be quiet then tells her he's trying to save her. He has to admit he is proud that she stood up for herself.
It seems he's having issues of dissatisfaction with everything...job, life, minders and especially the glorified baby sitting mission for humans he was assigned. At least she's following him. He turns to her asks if she'll let him carry her. She nods. When they get to his shuttle she's asleep. Once inside he closes the ramp. Then he notices thick black lines snaking up his forearms. What in the world????? He looks to the female and is shocked to see the same lines snaking on her body. She awakens in agony as he is experiencing the same. He has a feeling he knows what's happening.
Things are just too weird. What's this about fated mates? What does that have to do with her? He looks just annoyed. Great! An annoyed alien who is talking about fated mates? And Pandraxians and Astrionis! WTF!!! He wants her to trust him!!!!!??? She goes to shower he heads to the bridge but the further away he gets from her the more pain he has. Then he has to turn around and head back to her. She's waiting with fire in her eyes. Oh yeah this is going to be a great journey....NOT!!
Then things change when Possedion calls. Thrax tells him about rescuing one human female. Then he's asked to show his arm...when he tries to get into the database it's denied. Hannah brings up a good question...can they change the ships's course? They surely did. When he goes to stop it she tells him to wait. Then she asks questions that raise more questions. The outcome being that he needs to grap Possedion and get the info from him. So now they are on a mission to find out what this Possedion alien knows. Will they make it through or kill each other just from aggravation?
A fascinating story in the Space Guardian saga with some hilarious moments.

Learning about the history of the Space Guardians and the truth of it all was fascinating and heart breaking at the same time. With the conquest and stealing of humans by the Cryons, a lot of humans were scattered all over space used for various purposes. All of which are nightmare worthy. Hannah is one of them. She was one of 5 prisoners that the Cryons had separated out to be auctioned off. She didn’t know who bought her, she used to work as a fitness instructor in a gym before the Cryons’ attacked Earth. She also would help the karate instructor that taught the self-defense course. She is a fierce and she showed it once left alone in a room waiting for her new ‘owner.’ Tharaax is a Space Guardians and he finds humans to be extremely annoying and whiney. But, Emperor Daryus had spent a fortune on getting four Space Guardians to act as recovery personnel for humans to bring them to Astrionis, one of the planets of the Pandraxian Empire. Tharaax sees Hannah and since his order is to free any and all humans he comes across he does so, but was a bit miffed because she was by herself. Posseidon was his Orhur handler to all of the Space Guardians for this job. I laughed at how Hannah dealt with the being that tried to infringe on her ‘owner’. I also felt sick by it. Tharaax frees her and then the weirdest thing happens. Black lines appear on Hannah and Tharaax, or Thrax as she calls him. Their interactions are funny, weird and begin to a bit romantic besides all of the bickering. I love the mentions of some of my fave shows too. The book made me laugh, giggle, cry, chew on my nails, need to have the AC on from the freaking out as well as the steaminess of the romance and some of the scenes were just wow. lol. Seeing the other Space Guardians and their mates again was fun. The book had a lot of action and fighting in it that was awesome. I can’t wait to see what happens next. What happens at the end with Vraax had me laughing hilariously.

Hannah (h) never expected to wake up in an alien auction house, stripped of her freedom and sold to the highest bidder. When battle-scarred Space Guardian Tharaax (H) rescues her, she assumes she’s finally safe, but safety comes at a price. Strange black markings appear on their bodies, binding them together in a way neither understands. The marks bring unbearable pain when they’re apart, forcing them into an uneasy partnership. Tharaax wants nothing to do with fate. A soldier with no past, no memories, and no purpose beyond his missions, he refuses to believe in destiny. But as he and Hannah dig deeper into the mystery of their marks, they uncover a horrifying truth, he wasn’t just trained as a Space Guardian. He was created. And the species he belonged to, the Darlams, were wiped out in a brutal extermination by the very people who made him. As the pieces of Tharaax’s past begin to surface, Hannah experiences visions of places she’s never been, words slipping from her lips as if they aren’t her own. The final revelation is undeniable, she’s not just some human caught in the middle. She and Tharaax have been here before, lived and died together. The marks aren’t just a bond. They are a message, a call across time, leading them back to each other. Now, with a growing team of allies, other Guardians who have also been marked and their human mates, Hannah and Tharaax must fight to reclaim the truth. The Ohrurs, the alien species that erased Tharaax’s past, are hunting them. Their survival depends on unraveling the secrets of a lost civilization, gathering the Guardians who have been scattered across the stars, and making it back to the one place that holds the answers, Darlam. But war is coming. And if they don’t stop the Ohrurs, history will repeat itself. A steamy, action-packed, fated mates, sci-fi romance, exploring fate, love that defies time, and a battle for identity in a universe that wants to erase them.

Book 2 of the Space Guardians series has a new couple continuing the search for the origins of the Space Guardians and discovering the meaning of the mating marks. Tharaax is just trying to have a drink after delivering a particularly ungrateful batch of rescued humans to the sanctuary. Before his eyes he watches a human being forced into sexual slavery. Whilst her new “owner” is taking biddings, Tharaax makes his move.

Hannah is not waiting to be rescued. She bites the first alien to try touching her and runs for her life. She is picked up and rescued by the grumpiest, yet attractive alien. Once the two reach his ship, mating marks begin forming on them both. Neither one is particularly happy about this new development and together they set out to discover the meaning of the marks.

This is a strong addition to the series. The overarching story continues to develop at a steady pace, we have the two main characters making discoveries on their own and they reach out to other space guardians for assistance. It was wonderful to see characters from the previous book and to learn more about the history of the space guardians and their home planet. We discover that the Ohrurs are even more evil and manipulative than originally thought.

I enjoyed Hannah and Tharaax’s relationship with each other. They didn’t immediately fall in love, instead it was a slow, reluctant getting to know each other, developing respect and admiration as their adventures continue. They have many challenges to face, and they do it together and with new friends. A new rescued human and new mating marks sets up a new story and I’m hoping that will be next in the series. Sloane appears to have many secrets, and I can’t wait to read about it.

Tharaax and Hannah’s Story . . .

Tharaax is a Space Guardian hired to locate and rescue humans to be taken to a refugee planet. He’s already tired of the humans who constantly complain rather than be grateful to be rescued! He is also getting headaches and the flashes of memories are disturbing him. He is on his own time having a drink at a tavern when he sees a human being dragged in to be used as a sex worker. But Hannah fights back and he has to get her out of there after what she did to the alien that had been attacking her upstairs. One of the other aliens told him to get her out of there and be gone. Tharaax is not prepared to see Soulbond Glyphs appear on their bodies soon after, meaning she is his mate and they will have to remain together or suffer physical pain if separated. So wherever he goes, she has to go along and he won’t be able to take her to the refugee planet for safety while he is sent on a mission. Will they finally stop arguing with each other and start to work together? Will they discover the secrets about his past that are being hidden from him? And will they be able to escape the danger they are heading for when his minder, Possedion, forces their ship to return to Ohrur?

I have enjoyed every moment of this series so far. I love how the author spins the background story all through the books and it continues on as you go and you learn just like the characters in the book. The relationship between Hannah and Thrax is so sweet at times and intense. I love how they come together and she becomes his rock as he is for her. The relationship with the other mates in the spaceship strengthen the whole team and as they add more Space Guardians they get more talents and more strength to better fight what they need to get to the truth of who they really are. Each new mate that the men find and get together with becomes a strength and they have talents that better help the men accomplish what they need. Each time I finish a book I can't wait for the next one. This is a definite must read series and I can't wait to see more of what this author has for us. I loved every moment of reading how Hannah and Thrax get together even with everything they endure on their adventure together. This is must read you won't be sorry!!!

Guardian’s Soul brings the reader along on a romantic Sci-Fi adventure amongst a galaxy of good and evil which unfortunately for MFC Hannah has delivered her into the hands of the evil side after being taken from Earth by the invading alien Cryons.
Tharaax is a Space Guardian, born and raised by the Ohrur to be one, and at this moment tasked by his handler Possedion to find as many humans as possible and bring them to safety.
Having just delivered a group he really doesn’t want to look for anymore, finding their whining, and complaints tiresome.
As he sips his drink in a pleasure palace fate makes the decision for him… Hannah.
Rescuing her from the pleasure palace, and both of them receiving mating marks doesn’t inspire any good feelings towards each other but being in close quarters on his ship soon does.
Nice writing, intrigue, revelations, found family, danger, spice, and expertly drawn characters did not fail in delivering a fine read whose storyline is overarching so an HFN until the next book.

This is the second installment in this series and is Hannah and Tharaax's story. It starts with Hannah a human female who had been abducted by aliens being sold as a sex slave. Tharaax a space guardian of unknown origin is trying to drown his sorrows with alcohol when he comes across her much to his dismay. He is charged with bringing the humans he finds to a rescue planet but plans to neglect that order as he is fed up with their complaining. He reluctantly saves her and takes her back to his ship. They spend most of their time arguing when they first meet so when mating marks appear on their skin that won't let them be too far apart without great pain this causes more tension. It also causes more issues for Tharaax as he doesn't know what species he is or anything about his past. It also causes him to question the Ohrurs he works for and what secrets they are keeping from him. Can these issues be resolved and what does the future hold for Hannah and Tharaax? Check it out to see. You won't be disappointed.

"...honor and patience were warring an evil battle inside me..."

Take two characters who have had a rough couple of weeks and throw them together and something interesting just might happen. Add an alien abduction and struggle to find a way to survive in the Universe, far from home, and Hannah is not at her best.

Something truly special starts to happen when Hannah and Thrax get a little rest and start to consider things from each other's perspective. Between her sense of humor and his determination these two make an unlikely team to tackle an important fact finding mission, but together they prove fun and amazing things can be done.

Guardian's Soul is a solid stand alone kindle unlimited read, with some interesting world building, answering some in-universe questions while promoting others for future books, and other characters to pursue.

A lot of this story is just the two characters, with some great scenes as they explore the many ways we react to challenges and situations. Then they meet up with "their community" and a new adventure begins.

Tharaax and Hannah's story is full of action and adventure. Hannah was taken as a slave as apart of an alien sex trafficking ring. When it seems that the outlook is bleak and she has no where else to go, Tharaax shows up and saves her from the slave traders. Tharaax is apart of the space guardians tasked to save humans from the sex trade and safely transport them to a refugee planet called Pandraxians. However, they find out that they are fated mates in the process. What starts out as an unwanted connection, it quickly becomes obvious that they are inseparable, literally. While trying to come up with a good game plan and determine what this means for the two of them Tharaax is called by his leader one of the ohrurs and his main boss. When his boss realizes that he has mating marks, he tries to force him to return so they can execute him. They are able to form a plan and take him hostage which starts the journey of them finding answers to what is happening to them and what happens next is so interesting and causes them to learn to work together as one to make it out alive.

Guardian’s Soul follows the adventures of Hannah and Tharaax. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about these two fantastic characters as well as seeing their story come to fruition throughout the book. The chemistry between Hannah and Tharaax is fascinatingly beautiful and breathtaking. The characters are fabulously written and beautifully executed throughout the story. Guardian’s Soul is beautifully written, amazingly balanced and perfectly executed by Bella Blair. Bella Blair continues to show what an incredible author she is with each fantastic romance book I have read by her thus far. I’m always looking forward to reading her amazing romance stories because I find them to be quite entertaining and enjoyable to read. I would certainly recommend Guardian’s Soul to anyone who is looking for a new alien romance to read. I can hardly wait to see what will be next for Bella Blair.

Hannah and Tharaax. Tharaax is a grumpy grump! Hannah used to be all Sunshine but then she was abducted and sold to a Pleasure House...that's enough to dampen the Sunshine in anyone's heart. Tharaax rescues her only to find out she is his fated mate. Neither is very happy about the situation. Then Tharaax starts having dreams. And slowly comes to realize things are not as they appear. The Guardian's series is so ridiculously good! The action, adventure and romance is over-the-top good. The characters are well fleshed out and well written. The world building is impeccable and flawless. The story grabs and holds you. I can not wait for the next book! This is...and isn't a cliffhanger. Hannah and Tharaax are firmly together but the over arching story thread isn't finished yet. An awesomely good read!

This is another great read and a fab second book to the series. Each book is about a different couple but there is an overarching plot that continues throughout the series...that has me anxious for the next book to see how things will continue to unfold ;D Thrax is quite grumpy, and while Hannah was a sunshine kind of gal, but being kidnapped from Earth and sold to a Pleasure House will really dim that light in any one. However much they start off despising each other, they sure had hot chemistry ;P Expect get caught up in the adventure, drama, danger, secrets and steamy romance in this engaging read. With fab world building, the author had me on a wild reading ride with this couple and I loved it. Good fun!

Hannah was abducted, thrown in a cell with so many other humans and taken to another planet to be sold. With no hope for rescue, she still doesn't give up.
Thrax is a Space Guardian and his mission is to resuce humans, yet he's troubled. Is it time to quit, can he quit? The headaches come as he has flashes of memories. But from where? Of who?
This second book in this Space Guardian's Mate series is amazing. Our couple initially hates each other, suffer through getting mate marks, and slowly the connection grows. Plot twists will keep you reading, danger, steam, questions, pieces of the puzzle to be explored and great characters will keep you from putting this one down. I didn't read book one but had no trouble following this one. But it's on my TBR before book 3 is out.

Tharaax reluctantly rescued Hannah and is hit with mating marks shortly after. Thrax has been struggling with fulfillment as a Space Guardian so this new situation is icing on the cake. Unfortunately the marks cause more questions than answers and both are left reeling with each secret they unravel. As they continue to seek out answers their feelings grow and they genuinely want to be with each other. I their search for answers they meet allies and learn that they have only scratched the surface of their past and potentially what their future will become. Fast paced love story full of adventure and intrigue. Love this series and can’t wait for the next book.

I often enjoy space alien type romances and this series is a good one. One thread through the books is that the Space Guardians know nothing about where they come from. In this one Tharaax is unhappy with the work he is doing because he finds the humans really annoying.

Hannah has been abducted and sold to a pleasure house, arriving while Tharaax is having a drink. He ends up taking her away to save her and forgets to tell her what he is doing, so she resists.

There are mildly amusing parts like her sarcasm. As the story progresses and they learn more about his mission and the Ohrurs' secrets, their characters unfold. This is an entertaining romp through their world.

The Plot Thickens!!

I am so enjoying these Space Guardian stories! As we progress through this series, we find more and more about the origins of the Guardians, and what the Ohrurs are doing behind the scenes.

The current Guardian / human couple is struggling through their mating marks and what that means. They have received the targeted message of those who begin to suspect what is happening as the story begins to overlap the prior ones.

Exciting, romantic, other-worldy, and those things you hope to find in an excellent Alien Romance.

4.5-5*
This is the second book of the series. Even though it could be a standalone there is an over arching plot. Tharaax, one of four Space Guardians assigned to save humans, is questioning his life as he deals with whining humans he rescues. When he comes across Hannah, she is in need of escape and Tharaax steps up. From here their love journey is filled with banter, danger, hot hot passion, intrigue, twists, revelations, and so much more. I loved their love journey and watching their relationship grow and strengthen. Enjoyed the cameos from the first story.

This is the second story in the "Space Guardian's Mate" series. The story is a fated mate paranormal read about Tharaax and Hannah. This is an intriguing plot with some possible triggers. Hannah is abducted and sold by traffickers. Tharaax is questioning life and getting drunk in a brothel when she is brought in. He is intrigued, interested and about to make his move when she come running out with blood on her. He grabs her and runs. Then a strange mark is appearing on both of them; a fated mate mark. Such a good read that I could not put down. It does end with a cliffhanger type ending that leads the team on another adventure. I would definitely read these stories in order.

I love Bella Blair and this series is turning into something special. I am loving finding out more about the dreams and the pasts of the space guardians. It’s getting so good!
Also I loved Hannah and Tharaax. They were both so stubborn at the beginning that this bond was a horrible thing. But I loved how they softened to each other as they got to know one another. I totally feel for Hannah as she struggles between how she used to be and how she feels now after her abduction. These two were so good together and found out a lot of information. Can’t wait for the next!!
I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.

Book 2 of Space Guardian's Mate story for Hannah and Tharaax. Boy howdy talk about two characters that are trouble with a capital T but the universe matches them and the story ends up being one that will have you laughing at just how surprising Hannah is and the way these two fall for each other will have you rolling your eyes but smiling at them. This was a wonderful adventure, drama with a splash of danger and more drama and secrets love story that is a must read.

I was so excited for this story to come out, and it’s finally here! We got to know the main characters in the first book, and while they have their happy ending—well, more like a “happy for now” since there’s still that big issue they need to tackle—we didn’t really see how they got there. I absolutely loved this story just as much as the first one, and now I’m counting down the days until I can dive into the third book to see where their journey takes them next!.

As the Space Guardian's Mate series continues we are introduced to Tharaax and Hannah and their story. As we delve further into the story of the Space Guardians more is discovered about what the Ohrurs have done to the men who are their Space Guardians and their ancestors. As more mating marks are discovered Hannah and Tharaax discover that there is much more to the marks than anyone ever realised. Full of suspense and drama, this hot and steamy read is a worthy addition to this series and if you haven't read any yet, then do so as I am hooked on it and can't wait for the next one.

4.7⭐️ Deep Mistrust & Dislike to Deep Love & Teamwork

I enjoyed this story. I really liked Tharaax & Hannah as a couple. She’s strong & opinionated which leads to some funny moments. Tharaax is annoyed by humans & doesn’t want anything to do with them anymore, even though his job tasked him with bringing humans to Astrionis. I liked that more info was given about what the Ohrurs did to the Space Guardians and about their past. if you like spicy alien romances with intrigue & a HFN, you’ll enjoy this.

Guardian's Soul is book two of the Space Guardian's Mate Series.

Thrax and Hannah have a very interesting start to their relationship. They pretty much despise the other, but they are thrown together and have to find a way to coexist.

These two had a lot of chemistry and the story was very engaging. I really liked the little bit of mystery involved as we were uncovering things about them and their past.

There is more and more gathering. Can you imagine a planet worth of books to read? I would love that. A lot of things are starting to come together. I am so excited about this turn. Remember.
What an interesting idea – working in a well known role without question yet not having any memory before a certain time. I really enjoyed watching Thrax and Hannah in their story. While their experience and discoveries are unique, they connect to the much larger story of the guardians. I am really enjoying discovering new pieces to the bigger puzzle and meeting new characters as the story unfolds.
