WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS UP AHEAD!
Seirin vs Rakuzan is the most boring match in all of the manga i daresay. theres a spark of hope here and there, and then it goes back to being snoozeworthy again. i have to say that all of the morals that Kuroko and team Seirin try to push onto the masses is then counteracted by pure hypocrisy when they themselves see fit. firstly they bang on and on endlessly about "Teamwork" and "Nakama", and yet when they realize that it'd be much easier to just throw the ball over to Kagami for the entire game they forget all about the values of friends and family alike. apparently Seirin wins because they are so team orientated and its just amazeballs how much trust they have in eachother, and yet when they abandon that plan and Murasakibara and Himuro start going for badassery teamplay its seems to be just not good enough. at that point Kagami is just so "Hayai!" etc and therefore no amount of teamplay was able to stop his bum. and likewise in the Kaijo match, where they tried to throw a plot twist into the game and make it that Kaijo was making super team-plays whilst Seirin was the opposite- even then they couldnt bare to just make Seirin lose and prove to the world that teamwork really will get you far. no, no, at that point it was all about self belief and hard work which will cut through the points. well how come that very theory never seems to work for team Shutoku? Midorima is the most damned hard-working man in the entire anime. he does absolutely everything humanly possible in his power to train and become the best basketball player, and yet when he goes one on one with Kagami who is never shown to be putting not nearly as much effort into training he magically loses and Taiga is simply too ferocious and "Hayai!" for the world.
they try and bring things back down to earth by making Kagami have cramps and Teppei having a broken leg or whatever, but that never seems to stop them from jumping to the roof and winning matches. as long as you have self-belief and determination you can make it through. and yet the same principle doesnt seem to apply to young Murasakii who becomes disabled after moving for two minutes, therefore making him unable to throw the ball into the hoop. likewise unto Aomine, Kise, and every other character you can think of.
these are just some of the few reasons why i'm starting to despise Seirin, a team who i initially loved. its because everything they bash others for is exactly what they are doing now. there is no real suspense in any matches anymore, because the magic of Kagami will soar through the heavens and allow them victory.
when they win against Rakuzan and take the Winter Cup it wont be "YES!!! SEIRIN IS THE BEST TEAM IN JAPAN! WOOHOO!"- it shall indeed be more like "oh... Kagami took on all the generations of miracles... wow. team Kagami became the best in Japan." it does not feel like a team anymore or anything to be excited about- the upperclassman have no right to be happy or proud or have a feeling of accomplishment of their dreams because they don't really seem to have much involvement in the winning of games.
i apologize for all of my ranting i am just really mad at the predictable turn of events Kuroko No Basket has taken these recent chapters. but i havent given up hope. after Rakuzan Vs Seirin i know it will only get better (hopefully). i have faith, afterall this is one of my fave manga's!

Creo que durante gran parte de la serie nos han dicho que Akashi y su equipo son los mejores y, aunque creo que tienen algo de verdad, lo cierto es que después de tantos capítulos, es difícil tenerles empatía, sobre todo porque ninguno de ellos conoce la derrota ni el crecimiento que viene con ello.
Seirin es mi equipo favorito, por supuesto, y quiero que ganen. Pero me cuesta ver cómo es que van a lograrlo si Rakuzan no solo ha mermado sus esfuerzos, sino también ha atacado a su moral.
Los chicos han resistito poco a poco, sin embargo, la brecha de puntos crece y no encuentran una manera de cambiar el ‘destino’ del partido.
Es la final y, si soy honesta, no se siente como un partido digno de dicho puesto. De hecho, creo que este es de los que menos me gustan porque se siente muy desbalanceado. Es como si el autor hubiera decidido aventarle un montón de piedras al equipo protagonista y es muy desalentador.
Este volumen contiene los capítulos 237 – 245.

This volume gets three stars only rather than the usual five because of Hyuuga's unbearable homophobia and sexism. I had heard about it on tumblr before and tbh I thought people were exaggerating or the translation was to blame, but that really isn't the case. I am just grateful it was Hyuuga and not Kagami, for example, since it turned a character I liked into one I now dislike and who I find it hard to root for. For what it's worth, it doesn't read like Hyuuga's attitude is supposed to be commendable, but the simple fact that a character like Leo is in THE number one enemy team and not, say, in Kaijou or Shuutoku, does leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

2nd Quarter: Seirin vs Rakuzan!
It's so funny reading the scene with Akashi vs Furihata 🤣. Even the anime had me cracking up, especially when Furihata slipped on his own feet and trembled facing Akashi 🤣 (can't blame him, since he saw Akashi did stab Kagami in the face at the Winter Cup opening ceremony). The disapproval from the other Generation of Miracles and Uncrowned Kings was also hilarious 🤣.
Even the Rakuzan team didn't dare trash talk & genuinely worried about Furihata getting crushed by Akashi (and the same when Furihata switched to Fukuda).
Akashi is definitely intimidating, kinda scary, super smart and can be cruel. He's all about being absolute and he's always coming as winner.
Honestly, I'm totally biased towards Akashi now 🥸.
But, hey, it's a good match. Seirin might be getting crushed by Rakuzan, and Kuroko lost his power too. But, I will cheer Seirin up! SEIRIN FIGHT!

El libro es bueno, pero algunas partes del final fueron aburridas y con muchas palabrotas. Pero recomendaría este libro a algunas personas, las personas que recomendaría serían titulares o jugadores que quieren mejorar o algunos jugadores que quieren aprender algunos trucos de baloncesto.

Terjemahan bahasa Indonesia-nya okeee, bisa menunjukkan sisi feminim Reo wkwkwk. Di sini Rakuzan serem banget loh, kemampuannya itu sangat jauh di atas pebasket normal di SMA. Seirin bisa bertahan saja sudah keren.

The volume ended without finishing the match. However, I have already seen that. My only wish is that it will finish in the next volume. The whole thing was nicely done.

Oh no! Kuroko's presence is known. Tsk! And that guy, Mayuzumi Chihiro.. he's just like Kuroko! O_O omg! Hahaha Furihata though XD even though he isnt that skilled yet, he's actually reliable. Even if he doesnt believe so. The other 1st years played too. Damn.
"Seirin" is losing. The gap in scores are getting too far apart. 25 points difference? Shiit. Will "Seirin" be able to catch up to "Rakuzan"'s score? :O They really need Kuroko. They have to think of a plan quick.

This volume is like a fucking vampire that sucks all hopes leaving you with despair.
Come on Seirin! Your strength isn't just the 1st year duo or 2nd year's defence.
It is TEAM WORK! Get this in your head and make way for the miracle.

Waaa?? This volume isn't great at all! Even if this is the most important part of the story (almost the end) it lacks dinamism so it's kind of boring. I hope it gets better in the last 3 volumes!

I really enjoy reading this basketball manga. Great match storylines. A lot of strong opponents with good background.
