A Strangely Victorious Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Day! Jackson Crow is pleased that they have Mary Tiger sitting with the kids—and thanks to Adam Harrison, they have a dinner reservation at the area’s newest and most elegant restaurant.
He finds Angela reading about a depressing celebration that had occurred hundreds of years ago in Rome, before the day had become synonymous with priests named Valentine who had become martyrs but preached love, candy, flowers, and expressions of love. But she’s ready to head out. Their day has been quiet except for reports of a madman running around the city, crying out for his own love—and for more martyrs.

New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Heather Graham majored in theater arts at the University of South Florida. After a stint of several years in dinner theater, back-up vocals, and bartending, she stayed home after the birth of her third child and began to write, working on short horror stories and romances. After some trial and error, she sold her first book, WHEN NEXT WE LOVE, in 1982 and since then, she has written over one hundred novels and novellas including category, romantic suspense, historical romance, vampire fiction, time travel, occult, and Christmas holiday fare. Dalton, Georgia Romance Writers, Affaire de Coeur, Romantic Times, and more. Heather loves travel and anything have to do with the water, and is a certitified scuba diver. Krewe of Hunters are always super amazing! I enjoy all these new short stories available on KU to the max! This one is an experiment on listening to Virtual Voice! I'll be withholding any complaint for now. Haha! The Era of AI rules! An advice to myself ➡️

Action filled Valentine's Day Short Story
This short story moves even faster than th other one I read bu this same author. No miss, no fuss! You get in you get a small recap of your same familar characters and it gets down to business QUICKLY! I love these short stories when I am waiting for appointments or in a lunch break and don't have time to start a whole new book project at the moment. I find them to be the perfect length bad substance. If you haven't go en the a chance yet I really think you should try one!

I have read a couple of this author's short stories, before, and she always delivers. This one is about a Valentine's dinner getaway for two of the agents in a special unit. The characters are vivid, intelligent, and very attuned to their surroundings. A ghost approaches them and tells his story and they act on it. No lives were lost and a possible massacre was avoided. I definitely recommend this short story.

I have read a lot of Heather Graham's books over the years and the only thing I am not fond of are her "holiday" books. Like the others, this builds the characters and the plot, and then it suddenly ends. I have settled into a good story, only to have it suddenly over.

I love these short stories!
Heather Graham writes such fascinating ghostly romance mysteries! Her's were the first I started reading of this type and I fell in love with them. This was a great Valentine's story. I enjoyed it very much!

A short, fun read by one of my favorite authors. Want something to read but time is limited at the moment.?Heather Graham has a short story on Jackson and Angela. The two love birds always finding trouble. There are ghosts and bad guys so not to worry. Enjoy.
