by the time this comes out i will have graduated with a bachelor's, even though i started reading percy jackson when i was in 2nd grade. (update: i now have a master's in public health, and it still isn't out yet)

I read these books when they first came out, and revisiting them now is just as enjoyable. This exciting adventure is fast-paced and full of humor. With lots of chaos and thrills, readers are in for a treat.

I'll be honest. Rick should've stopped at the last Olympian. When he published chalice of the gods I thought to myself what is he doing? The ending was perfect. Why are you trying to ruin a perfect ending. Instead of carrying on with this he could've started a Jason grace series or something else. These books, respectfully are a downgrade to the original books. I like the new ones enough but I feel like there are no more stakes anymore in these new books. For example monsters aren't even Hunting Percy and co anymore because they're over 18 so they don't bother hunting grown ups anymore. Where did this little tidbit come from Rick???? It wasn't mentioned anywhere in the original books as far as we all know, grown ups are hunted just as much as the kids and teenagers. I don't think I will continue with the series but best of luck rick. You're still a rope writer and wrote one of the best series in the past 20 years.
