This was another excellent chapter in the Harry Bauer series. With the Colonel and Buddy arranging Harry's proposed death so he could go unnoticed. He helped Jan and his daughter rid the world of the Russians and Harry's target. He saved Jan daughter from the head Russian by taking down his drug empire. Then Harry went after his target. Great action and as usual Harry saving the innocent. 10 stars plus!!!! Thanks Carl Clause

Excellent read.
A sad but excellent story. Unfortunately it sounded very true to life. How many war criminals are out there living out their lives. The evil lives on. The bad guys always seem to live on.
The modern day ones are just as evil and I fear they don't pay for the terrible things that they do.

My favorite
I have read all 22; books of Harry Bauer books. Love this character. This book was so good. Was not expecting the end. Blake Banner is a great author. I've pre-order 23. Can't wait until it's ready.

Overdose of success
I like Bauer and his activities in the special unit.
However, it is somewhat unbelievable how he succeeds to annialate so many, notwithstanding his many talents as an assasin. His relationship with Sigfrid merit, in my view, more than one bed encounter.

a bit senseless
I cannot accept the ending of the lovers business. Of course Bauer is a killer. Why did Cobra fake his death? And who is protecting Novak or Gallo or whatever his name is?
Illogical plot. Just massacres.
