Dante Moretti is evil incarnate. Handsome, dangerous, and leader of the Italian mafia. He could have any woman and yet he chose me, a Bratva girl. I’m taken away on my wedding day to another man. Now, I’m stuck in a situation where I have to fight for my life. Dante wants to bring war to my family. But he starts to make me feel… things. He lights my body on fire. He makes me feel seen when no one ever has before. Despite how I feel, things will only end in one Blood and death. Unless I can find a way to change it. But it requires me to truly open my heart to a monster. Am I capable of loving him? Only time will tell. And I’m running out of time.
The premise of the book had me sooo intrigued! There was a lot of potential, so I decided to go ahead and read this book. The first book was... OK. I had a lot of issues with the writing and dialog, but I made it through that book. This one is so much worse!
Nobody talks like that, especially adults. Dante comes across as an angry spoiled little rich boy throwing a tantrum. The others are bad, too, but he is the worst. "Tell me you hate me because I'm Italian"? What? Who cares?
I only got to 13% and I realized that I really don't want to have to slog through this book or series. The mafia aspect is muddy at best, and the dialog is just immature. I'm tossing this to the DNF pile, and skipping out on the rest of this series. The writing was just too cringey.
Truthfully I’m shocked at how well people rated this book 😀 I mean to each their own… but really ??
The writing was so wattpad-y “it’s a shame you’re my enemy because you’re really beautiful”
Dante who talked like a man who needed to be reassured of his importance, strength and power. Who couldn’t help but remind us how powerful, rich and strong he was before. And his obsession with reminding the fact that he was Italian and Nadia was Russian kinda sounded sus to me 💀 “tell me that I’m an Italian scum”; “we hate each other but it cannot be helped because I’m Italian and she’s bratva”
Nadia who seemed like she was trying to become her sister “ if my sister was there”; “she would have done this” etc And whose whole personality was being a doormat
Despite how I feel, things will only end in one way:
Blood and death.
Unless I can find a way to change it.
But it requires me to truly open my heart to a monster.
Am I capable of loving him?
Only time will tell.
And I’m running out of time.

It's Nadia's wedding day. She is now 21 and is about to marry Viktor, whom she was promised to as part of an alliance deal with Erik, her brother-in-law. But Dante Moretti has other ideas. He wants to make Erik pay for nearly killing him. What better way to do this than to kidnap his sister-in-law and cause problems between Erik and his wife Anya, who is fiercely protective of her younger sibling?
When he kidnaps Nadia, he is expecting a hellcat, just like Anya, but instead, he has this meek, submissive woman. But Nadia has a quiet strength to her. Her logic and kindness are things he didn't count on; they get stuck in Dante's head and make him question what he is doing. Her beauty, something she thinks she doesn't have, draws Dante to her. This quiet, unassuming woman pulls him to her, making him want her to want him.
Nadia, used to physical and emotional abuse from her father, knows when to toe the line, keep her head down, and do as she is told. She needs to keep on the right side of her kidnapper. But she realises over time that Dante is the first person to see her and give her options/choices, something she never had as a woman in the Bratva. She sees that Dante wants her, desires her, something she doesn't feel with her soon-to-be husband, Viktor. He brings out needs in her that she never felt before. Is this good girl eventually going to be bad?
Can Nadia eventually find her voice and her strength to stand up for what she believes in and bring this Bratva/mafia feud to an end?.

Whew. Beautiful Enemy by Ivy Davis completely pulled me under—and didn’t let go until I was wrecked in the best, most emotional, and twisted way possible. This isn’t just another mafia romance. This is the kind that drags your heart through fire and dares you to love the man who lit the match.
From the first chapter, I felt every ounce of betrayal, shock, and adrenaline. Being kidnapped on your wedding day? By the enemy of your family? It’s chaos. But the kind of chaos that completely hooks you. And Dante Moretti? He’s not the hero. He’s danger personified—dark, possessive, completely in control. And somehow, that made me lean in closer.
The tension between Dante and the heroine is everything. The kind that has you gripping your Kindle and whispering “just one more chapter” at 2 a.m. I was torn right along with her—fighting to hate him, only to start seeing the cracks in his armor. The tenderness behind the brutality. The obsession that somehow feels… like safety?
I loved how Ivy Davis doesn’t sugarcoat anything. There’s blood, fear, passion, and a constant question of “is love even possible here?” And yet—when that shift happens, when the heroine chooses to open her heart despite the war and pain—I felt that hope. That risk. That surrender.
Beautiful Enemy isn’t a fairytale. It’s a dark, gritty love story wrapped in violence and vulnerability. And honestly? I didn’t just read it—I survived it. And I’d do it all over again just to feel that ending one more time.
You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Nadia is set to be married but on her wedding day she is kidnapped by the sexy as all get out Dante Moretti with a reputation of ruthlessness proceeding him and he is seeking revenge on her family what better way to take it than on the Bratva princess herself. But neither of them expected a magnetic pull that couldn’t be ignored, the more time they spent with them and around each other fighting with one another the stronger the pull grew revenge started to look not so much like revenge. Nadia started feeling more in control of her life and less like a pawn. Dante was fighting with himself the need for vengeance and feeling that were fast growing for his girl ensuring she is always protected but where are they headed, will they finally figure it out that they are work better together than a part, will he let the revenge thing go, will she realize he allowed her the freedom to be her when she was taken, and will it all lead them to happiness their very own form?
Ivy Davis delivers a steamy, action-packed mafia romance in Beautiful Enemy. Nadia, a Bratva princess, is kidnapped on her wedding day by Dante Moretti, the ruthless Italian mafia leader seeking revenge on her family. But as passion ignites, their dangerous game of hate and desire becomes something far more complicated. What I Loved:
🔥 Intense Chemistry – The enemies-to-lovers dynamic is electric, with plenty of heat and tension. 🎭 Compelling Character Growth – Nadia evolves from pawn to a woman taking control of her fate, while Dante wrestles with his need for vengeance versus his feelings for her. ⚡ Fast-Paced Twists – The plot is packed with betrayal, action, and unexpected turns that keep you hooked. What Could Be Better:
⏳ Uneven Pacing – Some scenes fly by too quickly, while others linger unnecessarily. 🧐 Underdeveloped Side Characters – Viktor and Nadia’s family could have had more depth to strengthen the stakes. Final Verdict:
A gripping mafia romance filled with tension, passion, and danger. If you love dark, steamy reads with high stakes and antiheroes, this one’s for you. 4/5 stars! 🌟🔥
4.5 stars I loved this book, especially Dante! For some reason, I kept picturing him like an old-school gangster straight out of a black-and-white movie from the '50s—suave, dangerous, and intense. He kidnapped Nadia as an act of revenge to hurt her family, but she completely surprised him. She wasn’t at all who he thought she was. He was even willing to end a brutal mafia war just to be with her—that’s how powerful their connection was.
Nadia starts off shy and naïve, with her sister being the only one who ever truly stood up for her. But through her time with Dante—her captor—she grew so much. She found her voice, her strength, because of him. Their relationship is a slow burn, but it’s totally worth the wait. The chemistry, the emotional growth, the tension—it’s all there.
There was a lot of back-and-forth action with characters constantly storming each other’s houses or territories for revenge, but honestly, it kept the pace exciting.
A great read in a gripping series—highly recommended for dark mafia romance lovers!
A terrific story about two enemies finding each other in the middle of a war. At first the two hated one another but during the weeks they were together they became closer. The two saved each other as they became closer as well as started telling one another about their past. She was to be married but over the weeks she started not to want to marry the man that she had an arranged marriage to. The two became intimate but he figured out that she wouldn’t be completely happy until the war was over and he wanted her to be happy. They were found and when she went to save him they both got hurt. Her father was killed while she was trying to save him. An agreement was made after a while so that the war would end. The two get married during a small wedding. On their wedding night during intimacy they tell one another that they love one another. Outstanding character and a page turner with drama, suspense, intrigue, action, steamy romance as well as a happy ending to bring it all together.

I've read a few Ivy Davis's mafia books as well as the first in this series. Beautiful Enemy was just ok to me. Dante didn't come off as the big bad mafia man. He seems more like a teenager playing games or cruel jokes. I didn't really fear him at all, nor did Nadia really. You can tell that too in her response to him. Yes, she was afraid, but as she said to Elio's daughter, she felt and knows what true anger and fear looks like, and it isn't Dante.
One of my favorite parts is when Ivan stabs Dante. I was thinking finally!! Someone truly trying to put an end to his games. And it's truly this event that starts to turn things around in my opinion. Nadia plays a big part in Dante starting to think about someone other than himself. Other favorite parts are when Nadia found her voice. She proved to be much braver and stronger than she thought she was.
Although it was just ok for me, I think others would like it so I'd still recommend it.
Having read the previous book in this series I was aware of how Nadia and her sister had been beaten by there father for years. Anya is now married to Erik and its Nadia's turn to be wed but on her wedding day she is kidnapped and held prisoner by Dante Moretti. Dante wants revenge on there father who kidnapped a twelve year old girl and terrified her until she was rescued. The family were good friends of Dante and four years later she is still terrified. He doesn't care if Nadia's family are worried its just what he wants to extract his revenge. They do say hate and love are close together. As you would expect from Ivy this story is so compelling, so much hate from everyone and I was hooked from the start.
I loved reading about Nadia and Dante. It is very much like a sort of Romeo and Juliet story, but the main couple doesn't die. They are from apposing foundations, Bratva/Mafia. It shouldn't work, but it does. I loved Nadia's character development where she starts off as this Mousy little thing that is scared of her own shadow and by the end she is leading the charge for the big rescue. For me, a big theme with this was individuality and growing as your own person, but even more than that is creating your own identity separate from society's expectations because of who your family is. This is something that Nadia really has to fight against, but Dario as well.

Kidnapped on her wedding day by the enemy. Then feelings are caught between Dante and Nadia which is forbidden since ‘they are enemies’ but that doesn’t stop Dante’s mind racing of thoughts of Nadia. Nadia opens his heart to show feelings he never knew could be there. After attempt and attempt to off one another with Erik and Dante, they form an alliance which comes with marriage for Dante and Nadia, which I did not see coming. Sergi finally gets his end and the weight Nadia has been carrying around in her shoulders all these years with always looking out for her father finally lifts. I love this for her. I liked this one because of the character growth and the way Nadia learned to stand up for herself in her own way. The MMC, Dante, kidnapped Nadia as revenge on her family and there’s a lot of angsty moments on both sides. Also interesting is her sister’s POV being included. Nadia is a steady proponent of peace, and I liked how she was strong in a very quiet, understated way. And Dante had a lot of character development without losing who he was down deep. Cat’s Stats MMC/FMC- Dante and Nadia POV- multiple Genre- Mafia Romance Heat- open door, explicit Series? Y. Also teases Victor’s story. Safety? Y Triggers- kidnapping, violence, abuse, language Tropes- Captor/Captive, Do-Si-Do with the Mafioso, He Ain’t Heavy— He’s My Bratva, I Object!, Vengeance Is Mine.
Now that Erik and Anya are safely and happily married; it's Nadia's turn. Their sorry excuse of a father has handed her over to Victor Smirnov to marry but things don't always work out the way it's planned. As an act of revenge, Dante Moretti kidnaps her just before the 'I do's'. What starts out as a simple kidnapping soon develops into something more where Dante can't explain why his emotions are getting involved with Nadia. She brings out his protective side as it's clear she's used to being treated badly.
An easy read, an enemies to lovers tale, that revisits characters we've met in the first book of the series.

Italian mafia man Dante Moretti kidnaps Bratva girl Nadia Belov at her wedding in order to abuse her and make her sister Anya, and brother-in-law Erik suffer. Only he finds it hard to hate Nadia since she seems so shy and downtrodden. But he still needs revenge against Erik and the Bratva, doesn't he?
I really liked this mafia story. Nadia finds that being kidnapped is better than the abuse she and Anya received from their father. She finds her strength and courage facing off with her kidnapper. And Dante realizes that his preconceived notions about Nadia were untrue. It is a tale of growth for both Nadia and Dante as they see that nothing is as important as love.

Nadia is set to be married to Viktor a guy she does not know, it was set up to help brother-in-laws family become stronger and gain more power. Dante wants revenge and has been watching and waiting for this day. When he takes Her by force he is expecting her to fight him, however what he gets is a very submissive quiet girl. She is afraid to speak her mind as her father was very mean to her and her sister. As he plans his revenge he slowly realizes that she is in his head and affecting his thinking about getting revenge on her BIL.

Nadia and Anya are Bratva princess’s. Nadia is already married to Eric and she has her sister Anya living with her because her father has been abusive to them both. Eric has arranged a marriage for Anya with a bratva man named victor. As the wedding starts Anya is kidnapped by Dante who is a mafia man. He is out for revenge against Eric and Anya’s father for kidnapping a young girl close to Dante. Anya is a shy girl who is petrified by the kidnapping Her family is trying to rescue her but cannot locate her. This is an excellent book by an amazing author. The storyline and characters are great
4.5 stars! Nadia knew that she would do her duty and marry the Bratva man, Viktor, that her father & brother-in-law wanted her to marry, but oops, it didn't happen. Dante Morretti, though, has been waiting years to get back at Erik Koslov, and now is his chance. He wants him and Sergei, Nadia's father, to suffer. What better way than to steal her right out from under their noses. This is the start of a roller coaster ride. Will it have a happy or tragic ending? Good mafia read.

Bound To The Mafia book 2 is Nadia and Dante's story. It's a great, fast-paced, captivating, enemies to lovers story where nothing goes as planned and revenge is had in the biggest way when Dante kidnaps Nadia. This story pits the Mafia against the Bratva and it's full of drama, chaos, action, danger and intrigue. Of course it was never a part of the plan to fall for her and that's exactly what he did. The chemistry between these characters is HOT and their storyline is consuming. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
In Book 1 of this series, we were introduced to Dante Moretti who has been wreaking havoc wherever he goes. He sees the very young but beautiful Nadia, who has been promised to Victor Smirnov and so he kidnaps her aways from her wedding. Neither Dante nor Nadia seems to know how to react to each other but slowly they begin to grow closer as the war ranges around them. Great story with some major twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The book was misrepresented as a dark Mafia book it was not. The dialogue was childish and robotic. Here is a few samples taken directly from the book; makes me gleeful, updated so it's not a pigsty ,you don't hate me in principle, I don't appreciate him taking what doesn't belong to him,The Bratva are brute!s whereas us Mafia men are works of art. This is not how Mafia men talk. This book was a disappointment for me. I did not finish it. If you want light Mafia then this is your book.
Nadia was betrothed to Viktor by her sisters husband to form an aliance, and now she's come of age to marry, only their enemy Dante has other plans, taking Nadia for himself, starting the war he craved the revenge he waited 4 years for, but what happens when he falls for Nadia could she ever love a man like him? Well written steamy, captive, enemies to lovers, drama, action and more a great addition to the series
Talk about a character redemption! The way Ivy Davis can write her stories. At first, I wanted to hate the book, like what is going on. Dante is dead set on revenge, not caring who he might hurt. All he wants is the people who hurt him to suffer. He's a man who just has hate in his heart, but Nadia can see the good in him. She's determined to change him and get back home to her family. By the end of the book, you're rooting for the couple!
What a great story of revenge and when the time comes after four long years Dante has waited for his chance to take revenge on Nadia's family and he does so by kidnapping her. But his plan starts to show some cracks as he gets to know her better. Will he stick to his revenge plan at her expense or will the plan change and he give in to his feelings?

This story has everything in it for everyone. Such as hate, violence, kidnapping, torture, fear, love, hot sex, and peace. Nadia is put into an arranged marriage to one man. Dante, who's bent-on revenge. Ones from the Italian Mafia side of their war and the other is from the Bratva. The love that grows between Nadia and Dante is slowly growing stronger in the end. They make a powerful couple in and out of the bedroom.
This dark Mafia romance is Dante Moretti and Nadia Belov's story. It's filled with action, adventure, betrayal, death, darkness, suspense, violence, and steamy, sizzling passion. I was hooked from page one and couldn't put it down until I finished it. I've enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to see what Ivy Davis comes up with next. Highly recommend reading this.

This book was incredible. In fact I think I like it more than the first book. I didn’t read the description and was shook when I realized the MMC was not actually the MMC and instead we got an even better book boyfriend.
It’s definitely a dark mafia romance with hints of torture but nothing extreme. The story was well written with a great plot and the spice was a solid 3/5 🌶️
I actually liked this story more than the first. It’s told thru does have some errors but not as many as the first book. Nadia does find her voice and her way with Dante which is extremely dangerous. Dante runs the full swing of emotions from anger and vengeance to forgiveness and love. Overall, I good story.
This is a wonderfully written captivating romance about Dante and Nadia. The story is filled with twists and turns, kidnapping, danger, secrets, and emotions. This exciting read will keep readers interested from start to finish.
