I ran to the country for a fresh start. I didn’t expect to find three cowboys waiting to break me in.
Packing up my life and leaving my cheating ex behind was supposed to be the hardest part.
Turns out, the real challenge is surviving them.
Cohen — The quiet one. The rancher who speaks in actions, not words. Jesse — The golden boy. Charming, cocky, and too damn handsome for his own good. Devon — The storm. A broken rodeo king who wants nothing to do with me… until he does.
They tell me I don’t belong here. That I won’t last.
But I see the way they look at me when they think I’m not watching.
The way Cohen’s gaze lingers, Jesse’s grin turns wicked, and Devon— Well, Devon would rather die than admit he wants me. I came here to rebuild my life.
I didn’t expect to be caught between three untamed men who want to make me theirs. And when danger comes knocking, I’ll have to decide...
Do I run again?
Or do I let these cowboys keep me safe… and claim me for good?

1st point- a lot of amerrors where wrong words were used in sentences that didn't make sense. 2nd point- Leigh riding a horse, thunder cracks, horse rears, she falls off, and hits her head on something in the cow field. Devon finds her, takes to house, checks the lump on her head, takes off dirty clothes, and puts on an old t shirt of Devons. Next morning Leigh remnants a shower, she might have a concussion, Devon will help her. He helps with buttons on pajamas, then goes to the waist of her jeans, but she needs support because dizzy so she leans on him to get her night pants off. 3rd point- Devon and Chen get a pic, they get upset, Leigh comes into room, they don't let her explain, they tell her to leave, and she she leaves. Bryce comes into room, asks those 2 what happened, he gets upset and says She's been keeping this whole ranch together while YOU three stooges play musical beds with her. Bryce should've said WE THREE STOOGES. 4 th point- This is the major one. 3514 of 3709 I watch, my breath catching......keep reading until,my fing left this way, with the conclusion as per ,the instructions. But this section is where it ends for now as the scene progresses with the tension escalating and the interactions growing more intense among the characters!!!!????? WHAT IS THAT ABOUT?
I’ll be honest, I didn’t finish this book. I’ve read several (2 before this) Ellie Rowe books at this point to completion, and I gave this one the good old college try. I just couldn’t keep going. The idea behind the book is solid. The issue here is continuity and editing. The errors in continuity, as in the other books I’ve read by this author, end up making the reading clunky and difficult to immerse yourself in. Add in the editing mistakes and it pulls you out of the story over and over again. A good editor and proofreader would honestly probably make this author amongst my favorites because I’m a huge RH fangirl. I absolutely hate giving poor reviews and I almost never do. I hope the author takes this as a gentle critique and revises. I will very likely revisit her work in the future to see if the issues continue as I believe she has immense potential!
Why choose/ cowboy romance/ opposites attract/ forced proximity/ MFMM/ OM drama/ HEA
Trigger warning: death of a loved one/ neglectful parenting/ cheating(not MCs)/ alcoholism
This was a why choose but somehow none of the 3 MMCs knew about the other 2 sleeping with the FMC despite all living on the same property. A lot of the story felt rushed and one of the MMCs was a complete asshole for a vast majority of the story. The HEA didn’t feel organic in my opinion.
There were a few typos and the dialogue was super repetitive. Also the word “possessive” is misspelled on the cover art.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Leighton James needed a reason to get out of town. Her boyfriend was more of a roommate. He constantly cheated on her thinking she did not know. She just graduated from school with no one to celebrate with except her best friend, Katie. Leighton was also having a hard time finding a job with no work experience. A new job looking for a physical therapist popped up on the job board. Leighton was very surprised to get a call right away requesting an interview. The job was in Tennessee. Once there she met with Vera, Devon and Cohen Blaine. They owned and ran the Roaming Acres Ranch. Devon was the patient. He had an accident while riding a bronco and was pretty messed up. Vera had enough of Devon’s surly attitude. Even Devon’s best friend, Bryce Taylor, was over Devon. Bryce and Devon competed together while Cohen tried to keep the ranch running while raising Vera.
Leighton refused to let Devon push her away. Devon finally started working on getting better. The whole ranch seemed to benefit from Leighton being there. Leighton enjoyed spending time with all of the guys. They each filled a different spot in her heart. The heart that Jordan, her lying ex-boyfriend, broke. Readers will be so happy that all of them are finding their happy again. How happy will the guys be when they find out about each other? Will the discovery of the relationships be what breaks up this happy home? I really enjoy how Ms. Rowe brings a reverse harem together. Each person plays an essential role in the relationship.
This author could really use an editor. She repeats phrases in the same interaction multiple times, and there are several things that are inconsistent throughout the story. There are also an excessive amount of typos.
Jesus. Get a proofreader, editor and stop copy-pasting lines multiple times though out the story. The story, which had good bones, that has major continuity issues!!
Fresh from finishing her education, Leighton applied for different jobs as a physical therapist. Eventually, she lands herself an in-house job, looking after a patient who had major surgery due to a work accident.
Devon has been an absolute nightmare of a patient for his family. The accident has left him bitter and angry, which they feel the brunt of. Vera, his sister who has done much of the caring wants to finish her nursing degree, so employs Leighton.
While completing her education, Leighton has dealt with difficult patients, but Devon is something else! She will not let him get the better of her.
Cohen, their brother, has a cabin on the farm. He has run the farm since their parents passed away, and Devon left to pursue his dreams on the Rodeo circuit.
Devon's best friend, Bryce, whom his parents took under their wing when they were kids, lives on the farm in his cabin. He is home from the rodeo circuit, where he used to travel with Devon.
All 3 men are attracted to Leighton; because of her laughter, strength, determination, and giving nature. Bryce and Cohen fall for her but Devon fights his attraction pushing her away. He feels less than a man since the accident, what has he got to offer someone like her?
Leighton's ex-boyfriend is not going to go quietly, he is seething that she dared to walk away from him. He's determined to make her life hell and cause discourse between her and the men.
Leighton realises these men have a piece of her heart but will they make her choose and if so, can she?

★”Seven point nine seconds. That's all it took to destroy everything I'd built. “★
When Devon, the renowned top bronc rider, confronts his new physical therapist, it definitely was not one of his best moments. But cranky and mean is what he had become, quite intolerable, really, if the long line of fired PTs was any indication. But when his sister hires Leighton, she becomes someone who insists he pull up his boot straps, if only to prove that his injury was not going to be the last thing that keeps him off his horse. Of course, his brother and best friend are also interested in keeping Leighton around…This was sweet and spicy story told in a very down-to-earth style!
I really liked this story. But, it needs editing. There were several times something was said, and then the next page it changed. Like, I'm pretty sure when Maverick was described, he was a palamino, and then he was a big black horse at the end. Or she was wearing Devons shirt, but when she woke up and he put her in the shower all of a sudden she was wearing pajamas but then he took off her jeans?! Ugh.. I digress. I did really like this book. It just needs editing, and it would/could be 5 stars.
Devon has suffered a career ending injury and needs to start PT and get back to living again. She just graduated college and needs a job, also a new place to live since her "boyfriend" is not exactly a one women man. However when she gets there and meets the guys, things become a whole lot more complicated.

Book has some writing issues like the author forgot if character was only wearing a T-shirt and then on same page would say she had pajamas on. Then towards end of book there was a paragraph explaining that was all the author had for the book then next paragraph it picks up on story again. A lot of inconsistencies.
a couple of major writing mishaps, one in chapter 58 was actual author notes maybe? not sure what it was but wasn’t part of story.
the mishaps do not take away from the story if you don’t fixate on them. i wish there was more time with cohen and jesse but all in all a cute story to read.
23% in. Great start! I’m hoping that the FMC isn’t too much of a doormat. 68% through the book and I just followed the author. This is not a typical shallow RH story. The spice is pretty low so far. The emotional depth of the characters means that I don’t miss it. There was a minor loose end, but I absolutely recommend the book.
I don't understand how this book is rated this good. Did I finish it? Yes. But OMG this was very flawed. If, and trust me it was hard, you can ignore said flaws its actually not a terrible story. I've tried worse but only just.
I loved the story as a hole but it needed some serious serious editing so much redundancy in the book plus plenty of spelling and grammar errors. It was a quick and easy read I guess
It was a cute read. A couple things that didn’t make sense. Like there was no James like the description says it was Bryce. When they took a shower together it said he helped her out of her pj’s but she was wearing his shirt. But it was still a cute read
Usually I don't care about grammatical or punctuation errors, but this story was chock full of them. There was even a part where author notes were left in.
The romances between Leighton and the three cowboys are hot and cold throughout the story…and Devon can be somewhat difficult and whiny! I did enjoy her banter with Devon but I like my FMCs with more spunk… but each reader is different! Overall an enjoyable read with well developed characters and plot. Mild 1:1 spice.
