She's been hired as the temporary secretary at Sheppard Security while the woman she's replacing is on a National Guard deployment. She's certain that even after that woman returns, she will have earned her own job as a researcher with the firm.
She's debating if she wants to stay at the hotel bar or leave; the waitress indicates that the six-top table is needed. Spying an empty seat at the bar, she starts to slide onto the stool just as a man attempts the same move from the other side. He agrees to give her the seat if he can stand next to her. Normally she'd never do this, but she tells him she'd like to invite him back to her place, but they'd agreed to keep their personal lives personal. The clever man gets them a room at the hotel.
Jackson Sheppard was instantly attracted to the woman at the bar. Her unwillingness to exchange personal information was a plus for him. She wasn’t shy or inhibited, but she also had a refreshing innocence about her. He didn't stay the night, although he wanted to. Attachments aren't for him, and he had learned that the hard way.
She was shocked to learn the next morning that not only was he her boss but also owned the company. Other than slightly widening his eyes, he gave no indication that he'd ever seen her before, let alone made love to her.
Just as she's about to submit her resignation because it's just too painful to be reminded of what could have been, a former employee comes in with a baby. Finneas, or Finn, has been hired to protect the baby from a crime syndicate kidnapping him; an attempt has already been made. The parents claim the police are dirty. But the job is just too much for Finn, and Jackson owes him a favor... Finn is also a former SEAL teammate of Jackson's, and Jackson owes him a favor, so he must pay up. She immediately sees all sorts of holes in his story. He doesn't know the baby's first name. All the better to protect him, was his reply. No extra bottles, diapers, clothes, or any other supplies were sent. They had to flee quickly. His story just doesn't make sense. But when both men almost faint when the baby has a gassy burp, she knows she must help Jackson. After all, she's the second of seven children and has several nieces and nephews. It's obvious that if the two men can't handle one baby, Jackson certainly can't do it by himself.

Mr. Boswell, head of Alert Security, has just informed her that Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence had appointed another guardian to be their protector. This made no sense whatsoever to her, but his appointment was an added codicil to their will.
William is an orphan who was raised knowing nothing about how to be part of a family. This guardianship is his worst nightmare. Realization that someone is targeting "his" girls brings out every protective instinct he never knew he had. Cora is every bit as important to him as the triplets are.
Cora was raised as a military brat. Her father, a Marine Colonel, always placed his duty to serve above all else; feelings were the least important part of his life.
XWilliam is a new hiree at Alert Security. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence felt a protector was necessary. They interviewed him personally, and although he was a new hiree, he's the man they selected for the live-in position. He's much different than what Cora expected: he gets along with Paige, Melody, and Haley very well while still taking his job very seriously. And time alone with him makes her burn in such a delightful way.
But who would target the girls? The why is easy: the girls inherit a huge fortune on their eighteenth birthdays.

She also learns that something is going on with one of her clients. Gordon is an international fine arts dealer. He's left her some cryptic voice mails. He refers to not telling her the truth at their last session; she'd told him to speak to the police about some problem. He tells her that everything should be fine, but in case something should happen to him, he left her a clue. She just has to remember where he had his first date with his now ex-wife. She learns that Gordon is dead, and his clue leads her to a flash drive. The bad guys are now after her.
She's in love with Peter, and she thinks he may love her. However, Peter believes SEALS shouldn't be married, and they certainly should never be parents.

Demetri and Diana have gotten closer as they jumped from motel to motel in an attempt to lose their stalker, but when a direct attack leaves him jumping in to take a bullet meant for her, a sudden decision made by him could tear them apart. She has already given him her heart, but he may well break it, as he decides a path that pushes them apart for her safety and what he believes he should actually do. A hard lesson to be learnt for Demetri when he feels the pain of all he has lost through his own actions, something only he can and has to fix!

Being stuck together with baby ‘Buster’, has brought temptation calling and he is beginning to wonder about what is between them. They get found a couple of times and end up having to go somewhere they don’t expect anyone would know of, but even there may not be as safe as they wanted. Jackson has made plain he doesn’t want a relationship and has always been a loner, and always will be! A surprise for Sunshine makes his attitude all the worse and it seems that their time together is at an end. William has no experience at all with children, but manages to handle the girls surprising well during his alone time with them, getting approval for the job.

He feels guilty when one of the girls is hurt after he missed something on the video and has to refocus on their protection and doing his job. He needs to check into any and all possible culprits and find who is behind all the attacks and threats. One obvious candidate pops up, but evidence needs to be found to ensure they can’t get back out and hurt the girls again. He can’t afford to get distracted again and blocks his feelings until the job is done, reminding Cora more of her father and not in a positive way.
Once they are safe, his protective duties should be over. Cora can’t wait for him to go, but they will both grow to regret words said and those left unsaid, as the true depth of their feelings for each other and even his effect on the girls, cannot be ignored. They withstood a load of danger all together, and have bonded as a family, something William never saw himself having with his own past experiences. As he moves his meagre belongings into the Lawrence house, Cora was busy trying to make breakfast. Numerous other attempts are made on the girls, whether that is to kill them or to kidnap them is unclear, and William’s job is made ever more difficult as he falls for Cora and starts to involve himself in the girls’ care, having noticed how worn-out Cora has become trying to do everything herself. She initially refuses to adhere to any kind of structure or timetable, but eventually begins to see the reasoning behind a regular schedule for each day, which lets the girls learn a routine and for William to be able to protect them knowing what they are up to at any time. He falls behind checking on the video footage each day and has to ask his new boss for more help, thinking it will make him look bad, but his boss tells him they are a family and help each other out. He feels guilty when one of the girls is hurt after he missed something on the video and has to refocus on their protection and doing his job. He needs to check into any and all possible culprits and find who is behind all the attacks and threats. One obvious candidate pops up, but evidence needs to be found to ensure they can’t get back out and hurt the girls again. He can’t afford to get distracted again and blocks his feelings until the job is done, reminding Cora more of her father and not in a positive way.
Once they are safe, his protective duties should be over. Cora can’t wait for him to go, but they will both grow to regret words said and those left unsaid, as the true depth of their feelings for each other and even his effect on the girls, cannot be ignored. They withstood a load of danger all together, and have bonded as a family, something William never saw himself having with his own past experiences. Having to choose duty over family is soon something he regrets and the demands of three stubborn little girls leads to a phone call and final realisation of what they all desire.

They spend their time talking about each other and finding out about their dreams and wishes, never thinking they would meet again. Present day, Sam and her six-month-old daughter Glory, are being transported to yet another new location in Nebraska, by two Marshalls, when they make an unexpected stop at a gas station and her life is placed in danger yet again. She was due to testify at her father’s second trial and hopefully he would be put away for life this time! Escaping with her daughter in the Marshall’s car, she ends up near Franklin’s hometown of Rally, before she ends up in a ditch after being forced off the road by a truck. Shortly afterwards, Franklin happened to drive past and checked on the wrecked car and call in the sheriff, then carried on along the road until he came across Sam and her baby. Both are shocked to see the other and each remember that one night they spent together, as Franklin realises that Glory must be his daughter and he knows they are supposed to be in WitSec. He pretends Sam, now known as Mary Smith, is his fiancée, delaying her being questioned further by the sheriff and having to provide insurance documents for the government car, which would raise a lot of questions! He had been forced to retire from the SEALs after an injury and looked for a teaching position back home, only to find out he was no longer as qualified as he had hoped. He works on his organic farm part time and has a substitute teaching job, while he works out his options for the future. That has just all changed in an instant.
Now he has a daughter, he never knew of, he will do everything he can to protect both Glory and Sam. It may not be safe to stay at his farmhouse, as too many clues would lead her father and his men straight to his door. He knows he isn’t as fit and action ready as he used to be, so he will have to use other skills learnt on the job, to keep them all safe from danger, and reclaim his warrior side. He hasn’t been able to find another woman to make him happy since he was with Sam, with no one quite comparing to his memories of her. It seems it has been the same for her. Staying alive and caring for her daughter has been her main purpose. Somehow her father’s men keep finding them and if his fellow former SEAL Zeke can’t pull through at the Marshall’s office, then they will end up with nowhere else to go. As soon as he can get her safely into Zeke’s hands, he will have to leave her and Glory behind and that thought is not one that sits well with him. Sam is likewise conflicted, knowing they had rekindled that night of the past, has only made it harder to part from him, but she has already placed enough hurt and danger in his lap and he deserves to have a carefree life, away from the drama of her father’s vengeance. She will be back into Witness Protection, with yet another new name and a new location, so he won’t know where she or his daughter are! Only Zeke’s thoughts of the trial’s result will give the two of them a chance, a slim one, but still a chance of a HEA together.

Navy SEAL Peter Addison attends a charity auction and ends up bidding for Hanna Masterson, his squad mate’s sister, to keep her from being bought by the other guests, who aren’t being very nice or polite about the women on stage, with a few drinks in them. He wins the auction for her and they end up on a great date and a steamy night together, which leaves her pregnant. He had left after their night together and she had to presume it was just a fling for him! Before she can even tell him of her pregnancy, one of her high-profile clients is murdered and she believes she is next on the killer’s list! All she knew of Gordon, was that he was a high-end art dealer and that he had been quite worried about something a few weeks before she left to travel to Japan on business. She had advised him to go to the police if he needed to, but the last appointment with him, he was much happier and said everything was okay. She was in Japan for three weeks and had started feeling a bit off and tired and after speaking to her brother, he had called Peter to ask him to pick her up from the airport on her return. As soon as they got to his car, a van pulled up and masked men jumped out with guns and started shooting at her side of his car! He realises it isn’t safe to go to her place and so takes her to his, but they will have noted his number plate and even there won’t be safe for long.
Hanna had received a voicemail from Gordon and seems he knew he was in danger and that he has left something behind for her. The first recording on the drive she was left, gives a bit of a clue, but he arranges to pass it on to a former SEAL, who has his own security firm, to decrypt.

There’s nothing hotter than a SEAL protecting people especially when romance is involved. I felt each book was spicier than the one before. The books are not directly connected, but you do see some repeat characters in the stories. I was surprised at how well they all fit together. This combination is great for people who like a series, but also like a variety of scenarios and not worrying about connecting events of previous books. This compilation is perfect for a rainy weekend or sunny days at the beach when you want to relax and lose yourself in multiple different worlds of each of the characters. The stories give you all the feels and leave you with restored faith in the capabilities of the alpha male.

I was pulled into the story from the moment it opened. The connection between Preston and Lila is so clear to see; it hurt my heart to watch as choices and circumstances pulled them apart. Their coming back together was fraught with emotional turmoil and unanticipated danger. The source and reason for the danger was nothing I had been anticipating and was a chilling twist. I loved seeing this little family find its way back to peace and harmony.
The SEAL’s Accidental Pregnancy
I really enjoyed this book. The chemistry between Diana and Demetri was undeniable. And watching them work through all of their personal baggage while trying to evade a madman made even my jaded little heart sigh. I loved Diana’s independence and quiet patience. Demetri is everything I expect from a military hero: noble, brave, and fiercely protective. It was a joy to see him learn to come out from behind the walls guarding his heart.

To say that Jackson and Aurora’s childhoods were unconventional would be understating the case. He learned fast that connections only cause pain, so he’s lived his life as a loner ever since. Instead, Aurora learned love and community from the time she took her first breath and now she practically radiates her namesake sunshine. When the pair are forced on the run to protect an infant in their care, can Aurora teach Jackson how to love and be loved before the evil hunting for their deaths catches up to them? A twisty little mystery wrapped around a core of pure love. I adored watching this pair as they got real and vulnerable with one another, but it broke my heart every time their emotional baggage tripped them up. The ending of this book made me sigh with happiness.

Even though they’re fighting it, we all know that eventually William and Cora are going to give in to that magnetic pull. There’s a compelling mystery that both brings our hero and heroine together but also makes it more difficult for them to stay that way. Bonus for it being a mystery I couldn’t immediately outthink. There’s pulse-pounding suspense and dramatic action that pull the reader deeper into the story. And there’s sweet, silly family moments that left me alternately giggling and saying “awe!” too many times to count.

A good boxset

This is an amazing set series to have in a single box set. North's characters, as always, are crafted with intelligence, feeling, empathy and a splash of spice (okay, a whole lotta spice😉). Each of these 6 books will draw you into the story and have you flipping the pages, "just one more chapter"ing your way to the end. They are all stand-alone and I didn't find that order really mattered much (I had read a couple previously but reread them in this format).
As noted, the characters are easy to resonate with, being highly relateable even if life circumstances are vastly different. Each book was written in dual POV (my favorite) so readers get some introspection from each MC, and the writing itself was straight forward and easy to follow (no convoluted sentences structures or runaway paragraphs). I can always count on North's books to be solid and provide me with the pure escapism I crave. Thank you!!

This boxset has six different stories, and wow. The stories here were pretty good, and kept my attention.

The books were fun reads, although they were a bit predictable. I did like that there were common characters throughout the books, as it made them tie together better. There were a couple of stories that dealt with siblings, which was fun, but it was hard to put some of the timelines together.
I would read more from this author. The books, as I said were cute, and fun reads.

I really enjoyed these stories in this box set.
All books were full of action, danger intensity and suspense that took over the page. Each hot seal was out to save his damsel in distress and protect her with his life and she pretty much did it right back.
The chemistry between the guys and their ladies was explosive in a few of the stories and simmered in others.
My favourite was The Protective Seal between Franklin and Sam. These two struck me and that connection. Phew! But all stories in this set were a pleasure to read.

Wow, this box set is amazing. If you like to read about the journey these men take to find their happy ever after with the women they fall for, then this set of six books is for you. These men are the epitomy of honour and duty, which are tested when they each find themselves in tricky situations with the women that test and captivate them. Jam-packed with drama, action, some spice and suspense, these books certainly don't disappoint and will be so captivating that you won't be able to put them down.

Alpha Seals who are strong when needed and have a very strong code of protection the innocent in times of trouble. These missions will take them to places and bring out feelings that they haven't allowed themselves to go or feel In a long time. These are extraordinarily good and are filled with action,soul searching, babies and much more. My favourite has to be The SEAL's Unexpected Triplets, didn’t expect the bad guy in that one.
Each is a complete standalone.

The Captain's Seals: Six Complete Navy Seal Romance Box-set by Katie Knight and Leslie North. These were new authors to me and I have to say I fell in love with each book in this series. Each book was special in its on way, and although each book tended to deal with pregnancy they each were unique in their own way. I read this series in two days. I would certainly recommend it to others.

Some of these were read previously as stand alones and all are good reads. What a bargain 6 full length books for one excellent price, enough to possibly get you through your vacation. Of course some of these are better reads than others, but all are entertaining. Don’t pass this set up.

Leslie has put together six of her Navy Seals Romances that are all great stories individually but now are together making it one great reading marathon. I enjoyed all six stories. They are well written, along with wonderful characters that had me all caught up in the stories.

This six book series is an amazingly engaging series. Each book has wonderful characters and riveting stories. Can be read as a standalone but why stop at one when you can read them all. Highly recommend reading and look forward to more amazing stories.

This was a very good box set of books. I enjoyed reading all six of the included books. I found the storyline entertaining and the characters likable. The combination of romance, drama, suspense, danger, heart, emotion, action and twists was thrilling and swoony.
