After ten years locked inside the Omega Center, I stopped dreaming of freedom. I only dreamed of escape.
When a pack finally claims me, I expect the worst—dominance, control, a cage with softer walls.
What I get instead are five patient, protective souls who see past my fear and fire. Three alphas and two betas who don’t just want my body—they want me. All of me. Even the broken parts. They want to glue me back together, make me whole again.
Just when I begin to believe in forever, the government issues a brutal all omegas must return for “fertility testing.” But the truth runs darker. I uncover secrets that could destroy everything—unless I’m silenced first.
Now I’m trapped again, and the clock is ticking. If my pack doesn’t find me in time, I’ll be sold to the highest bidder… and this time, love won’t be enough to save me.
2.5: Alright, I am going to start by saying that there were some interesting elements here for sure - corrupt government, omegas being treated as commodity and raised in specialised centres, upheaval among those who wish to make a difference and change things and of course, an omega who is given to a pack that appears to be different from the norm. I felt that the story was a tad self - contradictory, the pack actually rescues omegas, but had no issue to purchase one. I get that they did it with a good reason, but as it turned out they did not think about the fact that this was a human being, a woman who has been through some serious trauma at that. They rescued such omegas, mistreated and abused, but none of them thought to consider the situation of their own omegas- just made little sense to me. In terms of romance, it was very unbalanced for me. Some characters were left in the side. The one MMC who does get really close with the main heroine, he is a friend, a protector, someone to rely on was not even given his own time with the leading lady whereas the rudest of the pack is quickly forgiven for his transgressions and then he has his own scenes with the FMC - it just did not make any sense to me. I think my mood is not helping as well, but this omegaverse could have been pretty good if all characters were allowed the same courtesy to build a connection with the leading lady rather than simply to just jump to the more intimate moments.

I found this book really unbalanced. You rush through some serious scenes (and miss all the necessary grovel, btw) and slump in so much smut that's not really necessary or interesting.
*EDIT: Just learned from author there will be an interconnected second book*
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5
Tropes: He(They) Fall First Forced Bonding Groveling Protective Alphas Touch Her and Die 3 Alphas 2 Betas 1 Omega Who Hurt You Enemies -> Lovers MMFMMM
This fast-paced omegaverse with political undertones will grab your attention from the start and won't let go!
Our badass FMC, Wren, is so strong. Sold to the Omega Center at 16, she is continuously abused in a failed attempt to break her spirit so they can mold her into the "right" kind of Omega. At the age of 26, she is finally sold to a pack that picked her intentionally for her "spirit". The pack is divided on whether or not they even want an Omega but have reasons of their own for needing one. They get off to a bumpy start but eventually find their way, only for all hell to break loose.
Our MMCs consist of Alphas: Raece, Matteo, and Winter, and Betas: Dean and Doran. Each has its own hold-ups and motivations, and you get the pleasure of learning about and falling for each one in their own time. With a mix of enemies to lovers, protective, flirty, shy, and inexperienced, there really is a little bit of everything, and it is hard not to fall for this pack, especially the Betas!
My only complaint is that the ending is rushed. The first 85-ish% of the book moves at a good(but fast) pace, and when you reach the climax, it feels like there are gaps in the narrative, and getting to the resolution feels a little forced and abrupt. Once I reached the 85-ish % mark, I thought this might end up being a Duology, and I am disappointed that it wasn't.
Despite that disappointment, I definitely recommend giving this one a try!
I have mixed feelings about this... My biggest question... Was it written by AI? Because that is the only thing that makes sense as to why personalities switch, and a lot of the storyline just doesn't really line up. Massive whiplash. Not to mention all the plot holes with how many days its been between events.
"I hated the thought of hurting her, but she was giving me little choice." God forbid a woman wants to consent to sex, bonding, and breeding.
Raece essentially assaults Wren. He FORCES a bond on her through his bark which... is most omega's nightmare. So it was REALLY hard to forgive him and get past it as a reader.
The way the alphas acted towards Wren was insane considering their livelihood is saving omegas in bad situations? The same exact type they put her in? It just doesn't really make sense.
Matteo and Dean, are the best alphas, and honestly? They could have been better. First and foremost they didn't protect her from Raece even after talking a big talk. Then there is the hate from Doran...
The jealousy from Doran was a huge turn off, and EXACTLY why I get sick of mm. I get that jealousy is natural but the rest of the pack was forcing Doran and Winter to open a relationship they didn't want to open and it just came off icky. It also made no sense because then the switch is flipped and Doran is OBSESSED and Winter is struggling to connect?
And none of the guys really apologize or make up for their actions enough. Essentially she is stuck with them because she is bitten so she just continues to be understand and accept every shitty side of them? She deserves better.
I did like the general storyline. The abuse, the political aspect, the idea of them fighting for omegas. I just felt like there was too much that didn't make sense (due to explaining something one way and the exact opposite happening) and it made the story and chemistry feel forced.
Plus the ending was EXTREMELY rushed. Too much telling instead of showing.

I liked this book for the most part but not the ending. We didn’t get any info on what happened to the omega center after they got her out and I just feel there could of been an epilogue that was a while after they got her back, with them all being happy or maybe a pregnancy or just something more than what we got. The ending was just to rushed and to abrupt.

I overall thoroughly enjoyed this omegaverse romance with slightly darker themes than what Raelynn Rose usually writes. The dynamics between the guys and also between the guys and Wren was so interesting to me. My favorite was Matteo, he was such a gentle giant to Wren from the very start. The love that grew between Wren and the guys was sweet to read. I understood her need for a sense of freedom while also trying to balance her need for her alphas and betas. Her relationship and how it progressed with Doran was so interesting to me. I also adored shy and sweet Winter. Dean was like the glue holding everyone and Wren together and Raece, while not always right, did always have the best intentions.
The work her guys do is commendable and how protective they are of Wren is so nice to see. The main thing keeping this from being a 5-star read for me is that I personally felt the ending was a bit rushed and I would have loved if their futures were expanded on. All in all though, I truly did enjoy reading Knot Worth It and the world-building. I would be interested to see how or if things in their world improve, especially with the way things turned out.
If you like OV romance with a hint of darker themes and headstrong fmcs and protective possessive alphas who can admit when they’re wrong and hold each other accountable (with a side of MM between some hot men), you’ll like Knot Worth It by Raelynn Rose ✨
I read an ARC but it did not bias my honest review.
The book was good for the first 75%. I appreciate some fast-paced smut and the story line had a lot of potential but it was rushed and brushed over all the intense subjects. For example, whenever Wren would talk about her experience in the Omega Center, she doesn’t explicitly say what happened. It’s all implied. I understand not wanting trigger people with discussions of SA or abuse but with the darker tones this books seems to be trying to have, I would have liked more discussion about her experience and her trying to cope with it. The book is great for people who don’t like dark books but don’t mind a little taste of it. I personally don’t mind going head deep into a dark intense book so I have a hard categorizing it as dark.
I’m disappointed that the climax was so rushed. The author gave very little details on how the pack worked on trying to save her. Like they talked about reaching out to other packs then two chapters later they are suddenly sitting outside the center while PD and the FBI are storming the center. The author did put in a brief description of how they got to that point but it didn’t make sense to me considering they were supposed to be “criminals.” There was little to no action from the pack imo. I don’t know, just felt very vague and awkward.
I would have liked a longer conclusion too. Maybe another heat? Maybe an epilogue where she’s pregnant or she already had a pup? It was very abrupt. It was like the author had a page limit and needed to wrap it up.
If you like a short fast paced romance with some dark themes and implied triggering subjects. This is the book for you.

This is my first book by this author and I’m intrigued by her writing. I really enjoyed this book.
Wren gets shipped off to the omega center as soon as she presents at 16. She is there training to be a good, proper and obedient omega but that is far from what she is. Wren is spirited, stubborn, and insubordinate. She was abused by the omega center for 10 years. She never wanted a pack.
Then comes her ceremony/mating day where she is bought by 3 Alphas Raece, Mateo and Winter and their two betas Dean and Doran.
The pack doesn’t really want an omega but needs one. Raece is the pack lead and he binds her to the pack against her will. Mateo is very patient and takes care of her needs. Winter is neither here nor there and on the fence regarding the Omega. Dean is a man with a huge sexual appetite and doesn’t care how he accomplishes it. Doran says some mean things to her and she wants nothing to do with him or his Alpha Winter.
The center recalls a lot of omegas and try’s to do some unsavory things. They separate the pack from Wren.
If I have to choose a favorite male character it would be Dean. He always made me smile with his crazy antics.
Knot Worth It is a why choose Omegaverse and is the story of Wren, her Alphas and Betas.
Wren was sold to an Omega camp where she was mistreated and mislead, hoping to age out of the Center. However, she was sold to a Pack when she was 26 and feared that the pack would be as horrible to her as the Center had been, or worse.
Wren's relationship with each member of the pack was different and their closeness and bond grew at different rates and in special ways. Her spirit and feistiness is what lead her to be chosen for her pack and that trait is what makes her so endearing and gives her character depth. Each member of the pack possess their own personality and brings their mix of experience, broodiness, enemies to lovers, etc to make the pack feel complete.
This Omegaverse does contain some dark themes so please check your trigger warnings. My one comment is the ending seemed abrupt and could have used a couple more chapters to tidy things up more cleanly. All in all it is a good story with likeable characters and worth the HEA.
Obsessed with this author. This book was so good! This is a dark omegaverse, definitely haven’t read one like this before with the omega center It’s very fast paced and intense!
I love the men! Each one is so different. We get Enemies to lovers, jealousy and even some betrayal. This book had darker themes. Wren is such a strong fmc. She’s so fierce too and doesn’t back down. I will say I loved all the men for different reasons but Dean and Doran completely stole my heart.
The plot was amazing. I loved the spice! The relationships built at different times but each one was so sweet and how they all came together. Honestly if you like omegaverse books you need to pick this one up!

💜MMFMMM 🌸Darker themes 🫧Protective pack 💜Enemies to lovers 🌸Three alphas, two betas, one omega 🫧Nesting & knotting 💜Forced bonding 🌸“Who hurt you?”
Wren is a 26 year old omega who has just been sold to a pack. She's been at the Center since the age of 16, hoping to eventually age out instead be being offered up as a baby maker. She has every reason to expect the pack she meets at the alter to be a bad as the center has made them out to be. She slowly comes to realize that maybe she was wrong. She knew how horribly she was treated at the Center (understatement) but could they have been filing their heads with lies about Alphas too? When the Center requires her to come back for testing, no one in pack has a good feeling. Can these Alphas and Betas rescue their Omega from the evil clutches of the Center once again? I enjoyed this. There was some ‘darkness’ but overall it wasn't too intense. The Betas definitely stole my Heart in this one.
now, don't get me wrong, I like the insta-lust/insta-love trope, so I did enjoy this read, but I think it had so much more potential and could've even been a duet
insta-lust trope means the book will obviously be fast-paced, but this felt so chaotic because we just kept jumping from one thing to another without letting anything sink in
and listen, I usually strive in chaos, but the whiplash this gave me was insane 😭
anyways don't let my nitpicking deter you - we got the blurb, we got the tropes, we knew it was just one book, so I knew what I was walking into, and my previous opinions aside, it was a good read
so if you enjoy fast-paced reads, w a healthy dose of smut and trauma, then this is for you
also, forced bonding is one of the triggers/tropes, and that's usually a hard limit for me, but I didn't mind it (as much) in this so do w that what you will
I love a Dark Omegaverse and there definitely aren’t as many of those so I was excited to read this one.
I really enjoyed the plot and pacing of the book until the end I feel like the conflict could have had a little more angst & it just kind of ended. I was hoping maybe this was book one in a duet but I don’t believe it is. I do hope there are more books as a series .
I also would have liked some backstory on the Pack they had personality quirks or behaviors that would have been nice to have explained in their stories.
But I really enjoyed this book even though their relationship started out rocky you felt the love and care they had for her as the story progressed.
I would definitely recommend this read!
While not overly Dark it does touch on darker themes so read the triggers for sure!
This is a lovely short story about a woman being sold to her Alpha pack. She had been stuck there a long time and had tried many ways to get out. She meets a pack that will own her on her bonding day.
Surprise, these guys don't want her. They are happy with their dynamic. One Alpha is with the beta, and the other beta is with the others. I guess what they can't get, they go out and get it. So, why add her? Not for her. Without further spoilers I will tell you my opinion.
This book took me through my emotions. It feels like you can relate to the things going on in the book.
Now to my complaints. The book is a bit short. I hate when writers put in to much fluff. I think there is a lot of room to improve. The ending is a great example, though iy wasn't bad, just very disappointing. Very rd c
I devoured this book, wow, it's beautifully written, with a feisty female Omega, Three Alphas, one of whom should be totally ashamed of himself, one flirty beta with a heart of gold, and one possessive and nasty beta, that sets the tone for one amazing read.
This book is good; Mateo was definitely a top favourite of mine, along with Dean and his flirty ways. The other three I took a while to gel with, and I could see this turning into an amazing series.
With enough angst, darkness and twists and turns to keep me hooked from the start and enough slow-burn spice to warm my cold, dead heart, this is a definite must-read for any Omegaverse fan.
There's no such thing as enough omegaverse and I'm loving this one too! It feels like enemies to lovers but there is much more to the story then just that. There's betrayal and other darker themes so if you have triggers do check them out. If you don't have any triggers this will be a refreshing read. Plot, spice and everything nice (and not so nice). Wren is sold to a pack and she believes nothing good comes out of it. However perhaps she is wrong and has she learned all stuff that isn't correct at all? What to do when the Center calls her in?
Dark omegaverse about Wren and the five yummy men in her pack!! Though their relationship starts from what is essentially a business transaction, their care for one another transforms into more. Wren is an omega who goes thru entirely too much when her parents sell her to the omega center when she reveals as an omega. The story shows Wren healing from all her trauma and finding love when she didn’t think she would. I will say the twists that happened had me on the edge of my seat. The spice is amazing ⚔️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Excellent entertainment. Well written and edited. Like other reviewers I hoped for more of this story. The ending was really unsatisfying and abrupt.
Spoilers follow: The ending scenes didn't fit the rest of the plot. Our rebel pack turned to established law enforcement and got results. The government is portrayed as corrupt and evil towards omegas throughout the book, but they saved the day all of a sudden. It would have been interesting to see how that all happened, but it's not told here. I still liked it, but wanted more.
Decent characters but ending felt rushed. Books with 5 love interests worry me since too many times you can barely tell the difference between them. I thought they were developed pretty well although I could’ve had a bit more groveling. The end felt really rushed though. I wish they either extended the book by another 10% and made the payoff and her recovery more worthwhile or shortened some of the beginning. I did appreciate it being only 1 book though. Too much recently it feels like books are being made into series when they don’t need to be resulting in a lot of slow filler.

I was excited to see this Arc become available. I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and the plot. I loved the relationships between the pack. it was such a sweet story for how dark some of it was. the only reason why it's not 5 stars is because it felt like it ended very abruptly. I liked the ending but the Aftermath just kind of stopped. I just wanted an extra chapter and or epilogue.
"This is the first book in an interconnected series where the timelines all overlap. For those wishing for more bloodshed and vengeance…don’t worry, it’s coming."
That is from the postscript. The book was good but finishes with a lot of loose ends. Would probably have rated 4 stars if the description or listing had suggested at all that it was part of a series with BIG plot point left unresolved.
I loved this dark-ish Omegaverse story! Wren was finally matched with and sold to a pack from the Omega Center. She wanted nothing to do with the pack, but they all finally realized they were perfect for each other. Then, the Omega Center changed the rules. Lots of yummy spice but not without some angst and triggers. Please check the warnings. Loved their happily ever after!!!
This story was on a slightly darker side. Omegas are treated like cattle by the government and sold to alphas. Thankfully the pack in this story are a consent kings and treat their omega well.
Presenting as Omega, is not something you look forward to in this world. Property of the state, until you have a pack and even then you are not safe. A world full of different emotions you experience in this book.
I enjoyed this book but I do miss an epilogue. I would have liked to know what exactly happened with the omega center and what the future looks like for Wren.
This book is worth reading if you are into Omegaverse tales. It was heartbreaking when you learn what she went through at the center. An alpha and a beta first broke thru her "walls", but it took time for her to trust all her pack. I was upset when the center came between them, but was relieved when the police and the FBI got involved so they got their HEA.
So this book starts fast. For the first little bit Wren frustrated me but as the book progressed and more came to light her initial behavior made sense. This book is on the shorter side (less than 300 pages) so it is a bit fast however I don’t think it loses anything because of the length. Overall if you enjoy OV you will probably enjoy this book!
I really enjoyed this onegaverse. there was so much character growth.
my main complaint and reason it isn't higher in rating is that the ending felt very rushed. I was honestly expecting a cliffhanger hanger when I got to the 95% mark because I couldn't imagine it wrapping up.
