4 books - 2 heroes - 1 heroine - 2 endings

Hero 1:
undeserving
weak, non-grovelling slimeball
sleazy, immature... the type of character who would normally be the loser other guy
as if that's not enough, he cheats and leaves her for some monster

Hero 2:
Austin is adorably perfect
gorgeous and patient, constant and true
Adores her with all his heart

Heroine:
wishy-washy-too-hung-up-on-hero-1
mostly I wanted her to choose Austin so HE could get the girl

It is important that I confess I am completely 100% Team Dylan. That being said ... Austin gave me a minute to reconsider my position. I've loved Austin throughout this journey. He is kind, smart, successful and obviously in love with Jules. I just needed him to be more. More aggressive, more fun, more ... just more. I felt he was holding back but I think after spending time with him in his own story I see why. We learn so much about who Austin was now and how he became the man he is. He too has suffered loss and had his heart broken. It makes sense that he throws himself into work because it is safe. His love for Jules brings him back to a little more of a lighter place, as he did for her. For that I think they needed each other to grow and become the person they are meant to be.

I love the idea of an Austin and Jules happy ending. The way their story unfolds shows that he truly is a wonderful man and completely committed to Jules and their life. I ended Austin with acceptance, understanding and appreciation for the love story of Austin and Jules. It is beautiful and kind and sweet and a little bit perfect for their love.

**I received an e-book ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.**

Let me start this review by saying that From the Inside Out is the first serial I’ve reading a very long time. They seem to be making a comeback now, and I couldn’t have picked a better one to get back into the swing of things with. I’ve always loved when an author gives readers the chance to choose the fate of the characters, and doing so with a dramatic romance story was a great move by S.L. Scott.

I’ve been Team Austin since I read Scorned, the first book in the series. Dylan just never did it for me. I blame Scott for this, as her character development and writing is so good that I quite literally felt Jules’ pain, and as a result became a little scorned myself when it came to Dylan. Austin was exactly what the new man on the block should be¬–sweet, sexy, funny, and someone Jules (and readers) could easily fall in love with. So, when I found out there was not one, but two endings to this story, and that I got to choose which one I wanted to read … well, choosing to go with Austin was pretty easy for me.

Austin picks up right where Jealousy left off. I won’t give too many details here, as I don’t want to provide spoilers, but I was catapulted right back into the angst I felt at the end of Jealousy. S.L. brought Jules on a journey of her own with the first two books, and with Austin she brings both Jules and Austin on a journey that they must navigate, both together as well as individually. A myriad of emotions bubbled to the surface when I was reading this. Sadness, anger, frustration, and happiness were just a few of the things I felt while devouring Austin. We learn more about key players in the series and gain some insight as to why they are the way they are and why they may choose to act certain ways given the circumstances of the situations they face. Lingering questions are answered, and most importantly of all, Scott gives readers an all-encompassing ending; one that leaves no loose ends and is fully satisfying.

I’ve contemplated ordering Dylan, but I’m just not sure I’ll do it. I love S.L. Scott and I love her writing, but I felt such a sense of fulfillment after reading Austin that I don’t really think I need to see the other side of this literary coin.

The From the Inside Out serial has been one of my favorite pieces from this year. Scott hooked me early on and left me craving and coming back for more of these characters and their tale. I know that I’ll be going back and revisiting this one often.

If you enjoy a good story, and like reading serials, I absolutely recommend picking this one up. The characters are well developed, the plot is fluid, and the writing is fantastic. S.L. Scott has proven once again just how capable she is of crafting a tale in any genre and any style. I look forward to seeing what she has in store for us in the future!

3.5 STARS!

I don't want to be her fallback. I want to be her everything. But I can't be anything for her until she realizes that and wants to be everything for me as well.

After Austin discovers the truth, he doesn't know if being with the current Jules will be good for both of them. He feels betrayed and resolves to make Jules regret lying to him.
"I love you, but I won't be second best."
Jules is broken. Again. This time it's even worse and she is determined to make her life right. She will make Austin realize that she really is the one for him.
"I used to think the day Dylan left me was the worst day of my life. I was naïve. Yesterday was the worst day of my life."

Not satisfied. AT ALL. !!! I was wondering throughout the entire novella about DYLAN! Where's DYLAN? How about GIVING DYLAN A CHANCE?
Everything was a little rushed and I was confused on Austin and Jules's past. It seemed a little vague and new events seemed to be occurring on every other page. Don't get me wrong, the ending was sweet, but he just didn't seem like the best guy for Jules. I must be so used to the loving asshole guys asking for redemption, because I AM ROOTING FOR DYLAN. I cried, I FUCKING CRIED when the author mentioned the sadness in Dylan's eyes. I am getting emotional again, I will probably be a wreck when I finish Dylan's installment.

I'm sorry Austin :'(
If only I loved you like Jules did in this book..

Wow, such a quick and wildly beautiful chaos.

I just sped through this. Considerably better, but on the same level as Dylan.

Team Austin....not particularly. I'd prefer to be Switzerland, or Team Brandon!!.

This story had the moving-forward, move-on, the-past-is-the-past kind of vibe.

This was written better, had better scenes, less cheesy dialogue, still somewhat the same events as Dylan, although not quite. The story's atmosphere was way lighter and uplifting even though it was shorter than Dylan. Not really much background to reminisce in either. I found that a bit depraving 'cause Dylan had a whole bunch of the past in the present. It was mentioned, but less was more in this case.

The way Austin and Jules had sex seemed way hotter too, so I consider that a plus. Brandon hardly made an appearance this time. I felt really bad for Dylan in here. I found it weird not being sorry for Austin back in Dylan, but having now read this, I thought it served him right.
I found the issues between Austin and Jules very entertaining, unlike the repetitive and past problems that just would not go away. The things Austin did or didn't do made me just want to smack him. Now after reading both, I wish Brandon was an option. He was so sweet and cool and way better than Dylan or Austin.

In the end, it was a semi-HEA, I think. Dylan is still who Jules thinks about from time to time, but not in the forefront of her mind.

Overall, I liked this quick read. Had an interesting experience, compared to Dylan.

Well after reading the 2 first books I could choose my ending. My gut first was with Austin so that is what I chose. But now, I don’t know what to say about this book. They do get a happy ending...but something was just missing. I just didn't feel those happy butterflies I normally feel at the end of a HEA. We finally get Austin’s POV, which I liked but I feel like he was incomplete or something. He was all over the place and the conversations between him and Jules were so odd, they’d be having a wonderful conversation and then he would just say “well I’m leaving, you gave me a lot of think about.” It just seemed very odd to me. We also get Austin’s back story, but, again, it seemed so forced and didn't have any impact to the story. I honestly didn't care and with the story he told I should have. One thing I did enjoy was Austin finally telling Dylan off and saying man-to-man what a selfish jerk he was. Now I’m off to read Dylan to see if somehow that ending is better. Maybe I'll be surprised....

Cliffhanger :: Nope.

I really like Austin. He's a lovely hero, and it's great to see the nice guy finish first for once. Unfortunately, this installment felt rushed, almost like an afterthought. I'm now in the midst of reading Dylan, and that one seems a little more focused so far. Austin was sweet and I loved having the choice to dictate who Jules found her happiness with, but after reading it, I'm not sure it's the true ending. I suppose we'll see.

If you prefer the man who never betrayed you..
Austin was there for years, offering comfort and trust, now it´s up to Jules to decide if this is what she wants, and for Austin if he can get over her lie through omission.
Great ending, although I´m a sucker for happy endings and did have a soft spot for "the first love".

1 Woman 2 Endings – You Choose – Team Dylan or

Team Austin. Sept 29 read one or both to see how it all plays out.

Four years ago, I was tempted with money, prestige, and power by a woman who offered to give me the world. That lifestyle came with a price. I had to leave the love of my life—the one person who had already given me everything I would ever need.

Today I watch Jules Weston in another man’s arms. Wanting… needing her back in my life again. But there are obstacles that keep us apart. Her boyfriend. Her best friend. Her anger that has raged inside her over the years.

Despite those, I’ve returned to take back what’s mine. The one thing I regret leaving behind—her heart.

Ever

since that fateful day, I became an expert at avoidance.

Avoiding attachments.

Avoiding relationships. Avoiding love.

My

company became my constant, the only companion I needed… until a chance

encounter with Jules Weston. I met her at a most vulnerable moment. Despite the

tears that streaked her face, I fell in love the first time I ever laid eyes on

her. I needed her in my life.

She was broken, but I knew I could heal her. I would wait until

she let me into her heart, allowing me to love her. And maybe, just maybe, one

day she could heal me too.

We shared a love that regulated every heartbeat and every breath we took. It was all encompassing. I thought our love could withstand time and anything thrown our way.

I was wrong. So wrong.

I used to be happy. I used to be Juliette Weston when Dylan Somers filled my life with promises of love and a happy ever after. But when he took my heart and broke it into a million pieces, I became someone else entirely. In one afternoon, I lost my soul mate. I lost everything I knew myself to be.

Three years later, the man who destroyed me is back.

To assuage his guilt? To finish the job? It doesn’t matter… I won’t let him this time. I’m stronger. I’ve moved on. He won’t affect me.

This is a story of love and betrayal. Pain and loss. Happiness and fate. It’s about finding your true destiny.

This is our story.

And it’s not for the faint of heart.

This is for the whole series, it has two endings and I chose this one, of course. And it’s basically novellas of about 80 pages each.
It begins with the heroine seeing her ex after three years again, accidentally, at a restaurant.
He dumped her badly because he wanted a better job, more money and he had found a woman willing to give it to him, he basically became a toy boy for a rich hoe that gave him a high paid job. This broke the heroines heart that still doesn’t know why he left her. The ex follows her and basically tries to win her back. She doesn’t want him though even if she has stil some residual feelings for him. She decides to date a nice man, who’s been trying to ask her out for three years. They start a relationship but she doesn’t talk about her past and her ex who would like to have another chance with her. He regretted what he did totally and after some months he broke up with ow but he never tried to go back to the heroine and to win her back until three years later they met again accidentally.
There’s a lot of angst going on here, the actual boyfriend is a good, nice and committed man who waited for his chance for three years, and when he finds out she lied to him he does not trust her any longer and decides to break up with her.
I liked that the heroine, despite having some feelings for om that was her first true love, in the end didn’t go back to him, telling him they were over and that now she had another man.
Yes, this is not the usual book where the scorned heroine goes back with the loser who dumped her for a better and greener model, even if he’s a changed man and he shows her he would leave everything for her. This is a book where the heroine chooses the man who stays and is willing to be with her even if she lied to him and wasn’t sure about loving him. She eventually chooses him and realizes that actually the time with her ex is over, it was over when he carelessly and callously threw her away, and she had to grow up and move on. So the hero is not the loser who dumped her, even if he did change and is ready to give up everything for he, but it’s too late, since he gave up her for some cheap slut and some money. He has to live with regret for what he had, a woman who loved him like no other, and that he loved her like he will never love anyone else. He has to see her move on, marry and have children with another man who was smarter and better than him.
I liked it because in the first two parts it looked like she could go back with the loser for the sake of some old good feelings they had in the past. And I was already pissed. But it wasn’t like that.
Of course , being the heroine a woman who loves deeply and completely, and since she never got any explanation for his dumping her, she still hadn’t had closure and couldn’t be completely unaffected.
I went into this books a bit prevented, since there were not many reviews and I didn’t know what t expect but it wasn’t bad at all, and I’m a nasty bitter bitch lately as regards my books. This one was good. The heroine doesn’t jump into love at once, and she’s confused and uncertain.
Of course she is.
And when her ex tells her he left her to be with skanky hoe because of the big money, she is definitely over him.
The hero, her new love, is also faithful during their separation even if he’s tempted in a couple of occasions, but he only wants the heroine anyway, uncertain as they were at the time.
I was happy with the end, she gets married and is really in love with her husband. They have a boy and when she sees her ex again she’s not bitter, angry or uncertain anymore, and he’s really in a bad shape, which I appreciated it a lot since there is some kind of karma. Safety: the heroine didn’t stay celibate, and we know she at least had sex with one of her bff, a guy who loved her but she only saw him as a friend. Not details about other men. About the hero we have details too. He was not a manwhore, and the heroine never saw him with om, but I don’t know if, in the three years they’ve known before dating he was celibate, for sure he never had serious women.
About her ex, he was a cheater who cheated on her with ow before dumping her, afterwards we don’t know, he dumped ow after six months but we don’t know afterwards, I suppose he had ow since he never tried to get in touch with the heroine again. But I don’t really care since he’s not back with her.

So, I am just going to write one review for the series. It is definitely an interesting concept of picking the H you want the h to end up with. However, I feel like story overall lacked development because the gimmick is to pick the “winner”. But, because of this, the two H’s are weak and the h seems flighty. You don’t really want anyone to win. F.Y.I. I picked Austin. I did not read the other H’s story.

It was a great journey, a short well written series and I still don't know! I really like Austin, I really do and I was cheering for him. You'll never forget your first true love but it's up to yourself to choose which path you will take. I am just team Jules :-)

I was pulling for Austin through the last two books, but it was clear the author was pulling for Dylan BC this story isn’t nearly as good as the other ending. It feels like she got tired of writing their story. I was sad.

**Warning: This is the third book in the From the Inside Out series. You must read Scorned (Book 1) and Jealousy (Book 2) before you can choose to read either Austin or Dylan. This review may contain slight spoilers for the preceding books**

This whole serial has been one of the best rollercoasters. In Scorned, I was torn between Dylan and Austin. By the end of Jealousy, I was leaning more towards Dylan. So, when it came time to read Dylan and Austin, I figured I would read Austin first and save the better one for last. What I didn’t account for was Austin completely stealing my heart. He snuck up on me for sure. I was not expecting all the swooning and sighing and giggling that I did while reading and even hours after finishing the book.

“She knows this is what we need to do, what she needs to do. I don’t want to be her fallback. I want to be her everything. But I can’t be anything for her until she realizes that and wants to be everything for me as well.”

Austin starts off exactly where that killer ending of Jealousy left off. I mean, talk about cliffhanger! That ending left me rocking back and forth in the corner! And now, we watch as Austin and Jules figure out where their relationship goes after this. Obvs, the cat is out of the bag on Jules and Dylan now. Why or how it hadn’t happened sooner is beyond me. But, now there’s the issue of who does Jules choose now? Does she go back to Dylan, the man who shattered her into a million pieces? Or Austin, the guy who showed her how to live again?

“I love you. I’ve loved you since the day I laid eyes on you. I used to wonder what your smile looked like and if I could ever evoke it…You weren’t a muse like Jean-Luc wanted or something that needed to be fixed like you are for Dylan. You’re this force to be reckoned with, all strong and gorgeous, confident, but sensitive and affected.”

I have to admit, I was nervous. Even though the book was called Austin, that doesn’t mean that they were going to have a happy ending. I know S.L. Scott well enough to know that she can do outside the box well—this serial is living proof of that. And there were times when I almost wanted them to walk away from each other, because their misery—both when they were together and when they were apart—tore me to pieces. I’m not going to give away anything about the ending, but just know that Austin now owns a piece of my heart. I don’t know how it happened. It must have been because we get to see things through Austin’s POV now, unlike with the first two books. We see the depth of his love for Jules. We see his past. We see how much he wants to forgive and trust Jules. But, we see how much he has been hurt. All in all, I think even the hardcore Team Dylan-ers need to give Austin a chance. I didn’t know he had it in him to steal me away, but every time I think of this book, I still smile. It was a perfect ending for the two of them.

“When we’re together, I’m reminded of who I used to be. I prefer who I am with you.”
“You’re who you choose to be, Jules. But no matter who that is, I see the real you.”
“Who am I?”
“You’re the woman I was born to love.”

Review originally posted at Ramblings From This Chick

Austin is the fourth part of S.L. Scott's From the Inside Out series, and takes place after Scorned and Jealousy. This should only be read after you have read Scorned and Jealousy. I love the idea of this series and how S.L. Scott has given us two different endings. You can choose your side whether you are Austin or Dylan and read either of them or both. For me, despite me having a clear choice of who I believe is best for Jules I have to read both stories to see what happens! I have this need to see not only every possibility, but also how S.L. Scott weaves these stories together and how things play out. I highly recommend this series, and anything by S.L. Scott as I love her writing style and everything that I have read by her.

After a tragic event in his past, Austin has done his best to avoid any kind of commitment. He throws himself into his work and doesn't do relationships. But everything changes for him when he meets Jules Weston. Austin met Jules at her lowest point when she was more broken than ever before and has loved her ever since. He finally convinced her to give him a shot and things are going great until her ex shows back up wanting another chance. Austin wants nothing more than to show Jules that they belong together and that they can heal one another. But can Jules truly let go of her past and move forward?

It is so hard for me to write this review, because I really can't say much about the actual story. In Scorned and Jealousy I felt like we got to know Austin some, but that there was still so much that remained a mystery about him. I was so glad to get to know him better in this installment though, and I really feel like the reader gets to know him on such a deeper level after reading this part. Austin had been through a ton and didn't want anyone or anything until he met Jules, and we really get to see him open himself up to the possibility of love. Austin was sure that Jules was the one for him and that he could make her happy in a way that she hadn't been in a long time. It was great to see him in a way that we hadn't before, and I really felt like his feelings for Jules were so clear throughout this installment. I won't say how this one ends, but I really enjoyed the story. I love what S.L. Scott has given the readers with this series, and I think it is pure genius. No matter what team you are on after the first two parts, I think that everyone should read both Dylan and Austin to really get the full experience. If you are team Austin you will definitely love this part, but even if you are team Dylan I think that there is a lot to be gained by reading this one as well. I highly recommend this series and anything by S.L. Scott. She is a brilliant writer, and I always love her stories and characters. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

I have fallen in love with novellas. They are the perfect little break from reality. A quick building story that still has all the character development needed to make you fall in love with them so hard that you can't wait for more. That's if they're done right. Not only has Scott done it right but she's done it in a unique way, at least it was unique for me. At the end of Scorned I knew I was Team Austin. What I wasn't expecting was that after reading Jealousy I was torn by feelings for Dylan. Then the author lets you decide who you want Jules to choose, Team Austin or Team Dylan. You get to decide the ending.

So like I said I chose Team Austin. For three years he has been trying to develop his business relationship with Jules into a romantic one. He's known from their first meeting that he wanted to be in her life. He wanted to be the one to heal her heart. He could see she was broken but also strong. He was patient and understanding until she was ready to open her heart to him. There is so much to love about Austin. Of course he's gorgeous but he's also sweet and sensitive. He grew up having very little and created a successful business. He's now rich and travels the world. One of my favorite things about Austin after reading his book is his loyalty and honesty. When most guys would try to screw away their feelings of being rejected, Austin chooses to remember who he loves and that banging bimbos won't solve any problems. Thank God! He is one of the most perfect book boyfriends.

Though the choice for me was pretty easy, Jules struggles to understand her heart and decide who she will give her whole heart to. You may get to choose who gets the happy ending but you don't know the path the author will take to get there. I'm really happy I chose Austin but I will definitely read Dylan too. It's 5 out of 5 stars for Scorned, Jealousy and Austin.

I’ve loved everything about S.L. Scott’s From the Inside Out series. The premise alone is enough to get me excited. A series of four books about Juliet, Dylan and Austin, with a chance to choose the ending you want. It’s not just a series, it’s an event, and one that everybody should be part of.

Because I don’t want to spoil the story for you, my review is going to be deliberately vague. The set up of the four books is this; Jude is a girl who has been hardened by lost love, still bitter three years after her college sweetheart, Dylan, left her, taking nearly everything they owned except for a shiny coffee machine. He never told her why, he never gave her any closure, leaving her wondering what went wrong and unable to move forward in life.

Three years later, she bumps into Dylan again, and though she’s angry with him, the spark still remains. At the same time, she starts to see Austin–a client of her business and a rich, succesful businessman. But with her heart torn in two, who will she choose?

The answer is; whoever you want her to choose. That’s the beauty of the series, you get to go with whichever hero you prefer. I loved Austin–he was gorgeous, succesful and truly in love with Jude, so I’m completely team Austin. But there are Dylan supporters too–and they’re just as vocal about their hero, loving his bad-boy edginess, and the second chance they both have in love.

So there you have it, not only are the four books a wonderful read, they’re also the chance to have the author go the way you want her to. And if you’re in the middle, why not buy them both?

Man, I don’t know what to say about this book. Throughout the first two books I was totally team Austin so I decided to read this potential ending first thinking I’d get the happy ending I was hoping for. Well they do get a happy ending but I don’t know, I just feel very ‘meh’ about it. The writing in the first book seemed choppy and rushed to me, the second book was paced much better but this book was back to being choppy and rushed. We finally get Austin’s POV, which I generally liked but I feel like there really wasn’t much time to really develop him. He was all over the place and the conversations between him and Jules were so odd and awkward, they’d say a few random lines and then he’d be like “well I’m leaving, you gave me a lot of think about.” And I’m left thinking “huh?” I don’t know, I just felt that this ending didn’t flow that well for me. Oh and Austin’s back story, we finally got it, but it was so poorly laid out that it just didn’t have the impact it could have. There were a few moments that I did enjoy but overall I just wasn’t that impressed, which is too bad because I really did like Austin. One thing I did enjoy was Austin finally telling Dylan what a selfish jerk he was, and I wasn’t all that sad to see what became of Dylan in the end. Now I’m off to read Dylan to see if somehow that ending is any more satisfying, I don’t know how it could be because I dislike Dylan so much (I mean the dude left her and took ALL of her stuff, really, who does that?) but we’ll see maybe I’ll be surprised!

This was a love story that I’m sure many of the readers will relate to. This is the quintessential “if you love something, set it free…” love story with some drama in between.

Dylan left Jules years ago but never stopped loving her and now he wants her back.

Jules was devastated by their break up but is now with Austin and is happy.

Austin has finally found the love of his life in Jules but is his love for her enough?

In this story you see the struggles and realizations that all 3 characters go through. Dylan’s turmoil of realizing he’s lost Jules for good, knowing that Austin is “the better man”. Jules was devastated by Dylan and her breakup. Although I haven’t read “Dylan” I can feel that Jules has grown up through her break up with him. We can see her come into her own and how much she enjoys who she is with Austin.

“When we’re together, I’m reminded of who I used to be. I prefer who I am with you.”

And finally there is Austin. We see the love that he has for Jules throughout the book and more importantly he comes to realize how much she loves him.

“I can feel how much you love me, Jules. I see it in your eyes…”

I can tell you without having read “Dylan” that I am definitely TEAM AUSTIN (+Jules). I was rooting for them! In my book, they belong together.

This is the first book I have read of this series. Although I thought the story could have been longer with a little more detail, I give it 4 stars. If you are looking for a quick, easy read, this is a good choice for you.

I have been Team Austin from the beginning and I still believe he is the one for Jules.

I do think it is fantastic that Scott has decided to give her readers a choice, though, and I am very much interested to see how Dylan would be able to steal Jules from Austin in his book, because I think it’s near to impossible and I cannot see it happening!

Even though this book is Austin’s “forever after” with Jules, I liked that it didn’t come very easily to them. There was turmoil and heartache with what went down at the end of Jealousy, and rightfully so. I think both Austin and Jules needed time to themselves before they could really be happy and I enjoyed taking each step with them.

This has been a great series, with interesting characters and a unique presentation that made it all the more exciting. If you haven’t read any of the books in the From the Inside Out series, I highly recommend them. Start the journey with Jules, learn more about the two men who each have a piece of her heart, and then choose whom you think is most deserving.

I preferred this book to Dylan. I really like how Jules grew as a person in this book. I think after her breakup with Dylan she was just a shell of a person kind of going through the motions of life. When she finally decided to give Austin a chance, I think she was still kinda going through the motions but when she realized she could lose him she worked on making her life better and not just living for a man or living a shadow of a life from a broken heart. Of the two stories I think Jules is a better person in this story also we got to see Austin's perspective which was not really present in any of the other books. Team Austin!

Although I have been team Dylan all the way, I have to say I really enjoyed this book. I liked the struggle and angst that Austin and Jules went through to find their happy. It wasn't all quick and simple, bing bam boom a happy ending. I loved that Austin backed off and left, that he was strong. I was so happy that Jules had to work for it.
Overall I was completely happy with this ending even though it wasn't the one I originally wanted.

I loved the 2 different endings. I am Team Dylan. I rated this one higher than Dylan's ending because the story is better. Jules and Austin have a lot to overcome and it is not an easy path to become a couple again. But, they love each other and eventually work out their issues. This one gave a small nod to closure with Dylan. Dylan's ending seemed rushed and too smooth in comparison to Austin's ending. I liked this one. 4 stars

(Still Team Dylan:)

I loved this journey that is FROM THE INSIDE OUT! I got hooked into Jules Weston's story with SCORNED and continued through JEALOUSY. AUSTIN picks right up and finally I get him and his story.

SL Scott does a fantastic job with giving us characters that we want to know and twists to keep us reading. I'll definitely pick up another book to read and get lost in.

Great

I may be a little team Austin now.... I am going to read Dylan and make a decision. I still love this series but I don't have that emotional connection I had in the first book. Brilliant writing and a beautiful story... must read series.

I loved Scorned and Jealousy, I even loved Austin's thoughtfulness and tenderness in this series...but something about this version as an ending following Jealousy left me feeling a little deflated. The passion and the fight wasn't as strong in this ending... Still a great read though!
