Everyone comments on the improvement of the artwork, which yes I agree it's beautiful after 10 years between volumes 2 and 3, but what about the story? Volume 4 felt completely rushed and like Hatori wasn't even feeling the story anymore and just wanted to get it over with. It was such a disappointing ending to a story that started off strong and had great potential to keep going strong. It made me sad and I was hoping for more. I hate it when stories decide to jump X amount of time into the future to rush the plot forward with very little explanation to anything that actually occured in that skipped period.

It's so wonderful to see such a huge improvement in Hatori's art! There was ten years between volumes two and three and it really shows. Gone are the too lanky limbs and oversized hands and weird faces.

Tonally this is darker than the first two although there's still some humour too. Storywise, it nicely tells Toya's tale, who's no longer so annoying even though he's still kinda brooding. You totally see Hatori's growth in the characters too, they are less stark in their characteristics and more interesting. I thought Chiyuki has grown as a shojo manga protagonist too, let me explain: she's in love with Toya but she's being very mature about it, telling Toya how she feels and waiting his response and she's not throwing stupid antics to get Toya's attention. But she's still a bit jealous of Kaede, and that's only human when you like someone.

Speaking of Kaede, her story was easily the best and most touching part of this book. Words really do have power, we should all remember that.

The last part, Johann's story and Toya's final decision, was sadly rushed though. It came almost out of nowhere and the impact of it suffered because it was thrown out there so quickly and told in broad strokes via heavy exposition. Mangaka mentioned in the side panel she had to cut it short, and that shows. That's too bad, otherwise this book was nice continuation and much more pleasant read than the first omnibus.

I am not sure how I feel about this. I waited so, so long for this series to end. I waited about 15 years, and I do not think I liked it.

Just about everything in volumes 3 & 4 were different than the first 2. The art, personalities, and writing style all felt changed. Understandable, since there was 10 years between volumes 2 and 3. It sort of felt like a reboot of a series that ended a long time ago. To be fair, Hatori did talk about that a lot too.

The stories felt disjointed and were difficult for me to follow. It also seemed that the stories were heavily edited to fit the final volume. Again, this is something Hatori talked about struggling with too.

With all of these struggles, I am surprised by the introduction of Johann (though, his presence has been hinted for a while), Lydianne, and even Toya's grandfather. For me, it just lead to a muddled story and an unsatisfactory ending. It felt like such a missed opportunity to explore the future dynamic of Kaede, Toya, Chiyuki, Yami, and Satsuki. I guess I just wanted more Satsuki and grumpy Toya. Original Toya, I didn't really get "new" Toya.

Ugh. Whatever. I am glad I read this. Sort of. Even though I literally finished vol 2 yesterday, I felt lost.

The vampire story continues after a 10 year pause by the author. This is definitely felt in both the ambiance, tone, and art style. The characters are still wholesome and lovable, but the plot is a bit disjointed and jumps around a bit too much for my liking.

I did enjoy the overall message of the story, have faith in people, live life to the fullest, make the most of it! An usual theme in any vampire tale is that of immortality, should people live so long? Is that actually torture? This lonesome vampire faces these questions and well, finds a lot of answers.

The author gives some context as to how she was able to continue with the series after 10 years and it didn't seem like an easy task. They did a pretty good job, considering.

I never would have picked this up myself as I’m far past my vampire craze, but a friend gave me the first two volumes a while back, and I finally got this final edition for Christmas. You can tell 10 years passed between vols 1-2 and 3-4 because the artwork is vastly improved which was really neat to see!

For me, the story is a 3 because it fell a bit flat, but I gave it a 4 because I was impressed with the improved artwork and that the author came back to finish it after a 10 year gap, and we love an author who finishes what they start, right?

Vampire shojo manga romance lovers would enjoy this.

Oh wow! The art is so much better in these last two volumes! I know there had been a ten year gap between volumes 1-2 and 3-4 but it’s nice to see the improved art work and an actual ending!

Now about the story... I enjoyed it but the pacing was too quick with not enough build up... It was only 4 volumes so that’s understandable. But I could really see a longer series with these characters!
Also, why the hell was everyone so damn chill about vampires and werewolves in this series?!?

Review by K.M. : "It is funnier than 1 & 2 and more romantic, so it is not for some teens under let's say 14, maybe, but it is a good story about a vampire that didn't want blood and was afraid to live with someone for a millennium, but

I like it, just wish it ended more satisfactorily. The final story, with the , could have been a lot more interesting. Though tbh, I'm glad it has an ending at all.

Since this series is continued after a ten year hiatus (thanks Ouran High School Host Club, geez), the art in these remaining volumes is far better than in the first two volumes of the manga. Bisco talks about this fact in the side bars and I think it is absolutely amazing how much she has improved as an artist and being able to see that transition over time (again, thanks OHSHC).
The story about the bullied girl was my fave. It is handled very well. I think the story should be demonstrated as a good way to handle cyber bullying. The manga made a great finishing blow to my heart.

I am so glad I waited 10 years for this and it didn't feel like anytime at all. I hadn't realized that it had been 10 years between books until I read Bisco's notes. This was the perfect ending to Toya and Chiyuki's story. I personally like the change in art and tone and I definitely liked that Toya is a lot nicer in the last two volumes. I enjoyed the story immensely and am extremely satisfied by how everything tied in together. It was definitely worth the wait.

This book contains volumes three and four of Millennium Snow. This book had the same great characters and a couple new ones too. You can immediately tell that the art style has improved over the years, and the layout is easier to read than the first two volumes. But, I also loved that she included a short from before Ouran that had her previous art. It was a fabulous second half for this manga; it had great storylines and a satisfying ending.

This book is comprised of the final two installments of Bisco Hatori's Millennium Snow series. The author came back to the series after a number of years and it definitely shows. The characters feel consistent, but they seem like they have grown up. The art has evolved and the stories have a more mature feel.

The style changes from Volume 1 to Volume 2, but that is due to a 10 year gap. It interesting to see how much she has changed her style both with drawings and character personalities due to the break. Cute book and an enjoyable read. I really enjoy her comments on the side.
