THE ACOSTAS BOX SET Superb, passionate six book Modern Romance collection by Susan Stephens featuring the sexy, glamorous Argentinean Acosta family THE SHAMELESS LIFE OF RUIZ ACOSTA Holly Valiant desperately needs hot new material for Rock! magazine. Luckily her temporary flatmate, sexy Argentine polo player Ruiz Acosta, is the perfect subject – who wouldn’t want to know everything about the agony and ecstasy of living with a playboy? It’s like observing a caged tiger, and Holly knows she should keep her distance – but Ruiz has a more hands-on approach in mind… He’ll help her learn about the high life one samba step at a time, for in the playboy’s natural habitat he makes all the rules… THE ARGENTINIAN’S SOLACE Diego Acosta’s polo-playing days are over. Living in self-imposed exile on his island idyll, he finds his nights are now filled with tormenting memories rather than the beautiful women who once graced his king-sized bed. When Maxie Parrish crashes into his solitude, radiating exuberance and a love of life, she burns so brightly he can’t take his eyes off her! He’ll seduce her and conquer her with the same single-minded determination that saw him rise to the top of the world polo circuit. Only this time he’ll make sure he walks away without scars… A TASTE OF THE UNTAMED The wild, unpredictable polo champion Nacho Acosta is restoring his sprawling Argentinian vineyard and he needs a sommelier who can match his exacting tastes… Without her sight, Grace’s other senses have been heightened. In spite of her inexperience it’s made her perfect for the job – and now it’s not just the wine that has her mouth-watering! Nacho is expecting meek and vulnerable, but what he gets is fiery independence…and a sensuality that excites his jaded palate! THE MAN FROM HER WAYWARD PAST Fun-loving and feisty Lucia Acosta was the girl everybody wanted at their party. With her sultry South American looks she captured every man’s attention. One terrible secret later, a paler, quieter Lucia’s gone from owning the dance floor to cleaning it, when a ghost from parties past walks in… Luke Forster would recognise those curves anywhere – he grew up hypnotised by them! But as his best friend’s little sister she was strictly off-limits. He’s shocked to see her fallen so low, but relieved her pride’s still intact! The real Lucia Acosta is still in there somewhere, and he’s the man to tempt her out… TAMING THE LAST ACOSTA Her mother told her never to play with fire… Living her life vicariously through a camera lens, photojournalist Romy Winner is happy to stay in the background, capturing other people’s happiness. Until Argentinian polo champion turned Special Forces soldier Kruz Acosta challenges her to step out of the shadows – and into his bed! Their recklessness has one startling repercussion that should never be linked to a man with such a wicked reputation. If Romy is to secure her child’s future she must get beneath the mask that hides his scars and learn how to tame the wild Acosta… CHRISTMAS NIGHTS WITH THE POLO PLAYER Lucy Lavender knows she should resist wickedly sexy boss, and Brazilian polo champion, Gabe Ortoya. Playboy Gabe is vet Lucy's ticket to a career in equine medicine and she's going to make full use of her valuable new contact, which means no mixing business with pleasure…as tempting as that pleasure is! But spending Christmas with Gabe—and the whole Acosta family!—opens Lucy's eyes to a whole new side
USA TODAY best-selling author Susan Stephens' books have captivated readers worldwide with over 11 million copies sold. Her work crosses cultures and continents, having been translated into 26 languages and reaching readers in 109 countries. This year marks a milestone as Susan's 100th book is slated for publication.
Books three and four are the wrong way round in the box set. A bit annoying. I had read all the books before and decided to read them in order with the Christmas add on. Book three makes reference to Lucia being married for two years, however in book four, Lucia hasn't gotten together with her husband yet. Book three leads into book five - sigh....with Grace and Nacho being photographed by Romy. I did give 4 stars but could have settled for 3.5. The diary writing by Lucia in The Man from her Wayward Past was irritating.
I enjoyed reading the series again, chose to revisit after reading the Hot Brazilian Nights series - where the final is due in a few weeks.
A fantastic collection of romance stories that had me salivating.
The characters were believable and loved them. This was a collection of stories that had me believing in the characters from the very beginning. The author is very talented and the romance and loving was off the charts.
I love this series. I read it years ago and still retain my hard copy. There are so many wonderful, sexy men and the women they chose to give descriptions, just take a chance and read it, you won't be disappointed.
