Rebekah I’ve had a crush on Adam since the first time I saw him. He was always kind to me, even though I was nothing but his dirt-poor, lanky, annoying neighbor. When tragedy struck and he moved away, I never thought I would see him again. But he’s back. I’m not a kid anymore, but I’m still sneaking around his property, hoping to get a glimpse of the man I still think about. That is, until his brute of a brother catches me, tosses me over his shoulder, and ties me to a chair.
Adam It’s her. I would know that fiery red hair anywhere. She’s all grown up, though it’s obvious life has not been kind to her. It only takes me an hour to realize there is no way I will ever let her return to the home where she is being mistreated. The woman makes my heart race. There’s only one way to ensure she never knows fear again—marry her. Now. Today. Maybe it’s rash, but I know she’s the one I want to spend my life with. The woman who will bear my children. So why wait?

Becca Jameson is a USA Today bestselling author of over 100 books. She is most well-known for her Wolf Masters series and her Fight Club series. She currently lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and Goldendoodle. Two grown kids pop in every once in a while too! She is loving this journey and has dabbled in a variety of genres, including paranormal, sports romance, military, and BDSM.
A total night owl, Becca writes late at night, sequestering herself in her office with a glass of red wine and a bar of dark chocolate, her fingers flying across the keyboard as her characters weave their own stories.
During the day--which never starts before ten in the morning!--she can be found jogging, running errands, or reading in her favorite hammock chair!
Adam is kinda bonkers, but I still got a kick out of reading it! Jameson has been leaning into instalove lately, and this book both is and isn’t: Rebekah and Adam haven’t seen each other in ten years, but she had a massive crush on him when she was a little girl. At that time, it was the kind of unattainable crush young girls have. But when she’s caught trespassing on Adam and his brothers’ property a decade later, her feelings come rushing back in an entirely adult way—and they’re reciprocated!
This leads to the fastest wedding you can imagine, and the logic behind this is that Rebekah has been living in dire straits with a thoughtless, uncaring father. In Adam’s mind, he’s rescuing her. In Rebekah’s mind, it’s a means to escape a life that was getting worse every day.
There’s a lot here that stretches credulity: that Rebekah would wait to come snooping at her neighbor’s compound until it’s completely rebuilt, or that she’s been so isolated that she doesn’t know a lot and yet recognizes slang terminology for parts of the body. I also wondered why a marriage license was never obtained or even mentioned since it’s required to have a legal marriage in the US.
But then again, this book covers four days. Four days! So I think a fair amount of suspension of disbelief is required here. If you can go with that, you’ll have fun with Adam.
A simply captivating read, Adam and Rebekah are childhood acquaintances Rebekah had known Adam years previously and had a childish crush on him, he had always treated her kindly even though he had no reason to be like this however, when he had moved away Rebekah had thought that she would never again see Rebekah again. I am no longer a kid now fully grown but I do like to be treated as a child and then when Adam had caught me sneaking around his property trying to simply catch a glimpse of his face I am caught and thrown over Adam’s shoulder and tied up to a chair. She has fiery red hair and even though she is now grown uo Adam knows that he would know Rebekah anywhere, the little girl he had once known is now a beautiful woman that makes heart race and he knows that he has to marry her as soon as possible. He wants to keep her safe and raise a family with her and he does not want to wait. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.
I enjoyed reading Adam . It's a great suspense romance .It's been ten years since the Gallant men left their mountain home after a fire took away their parents . They're back to rebuild and start over . Adam is shocked to find his brother Asher the self appointed head security man has a woman tied to a kitchen chair . He's more surprised it's the little red head Rebekah that lives in the next homestead that used to sneak over all the time but now she's all grown up and beautiful . Rebekah lives a terribly abusive life with her father . Adam is shocked to find her malnourished and thread baren clothing is easy to see her life is rough . Adam decides he cannot let her go back to that life and steps up to protect the firecracker he's always cared for . Rebekah has loved Adam since she was younger that's never changed . This story is suspenseful and smoking sexy . A very alpha mountain man romance very entertaining . I recommend reading .
Adam is the intro to Becca Jameson's latest series, Gallant Mountain. Six brothers who've returned home after being "out in the world" for ten years to run the family business. Adam and Rebekah have a history and they were always "meant to be." Seeing her after a decade solidifies the fact that she is his and he wastes no time making that happen. She's not quite sure he can live up to his promises but shexs willing to try because she's loved him her whole life. Keeping her safe is priority one and tha definitely includes keeping her drunken, evil father away from her. There's an explosive revelation that answers a year's old question or all the brothers and finally brings his red-haired firecracker the pace of mind she deserves.
In Becca Jamesons new book "Adam", brought on such emotions. In the beginning finding out how Rebekah was raised and treated by her family made me upset. That she would sneak to next homestead to be with another family who treated her nicely and who fed her. That she told herself that one day she would marry Adam, one of the sons. After years being away Adam found Rebekah tied up by his brother. She was still a firecracker. She was still being mistreated but Adam was smitten and claimed her in his way. I highly recommend this book. It was a great read. To find out what happens I believe as a reader you should find out. I enjoyed this book.
I was given an advance reader copy of this book for my honest review.
I was eagerly waiting for this book and from the looks of it, I'm just gonna need the whole series. I loved Adam. He and Rebekah have a history but he's always looked at her like you "friend" When he comes back to town, Rebekah has blossomed into a beautiful young woman and he knows instantly that she belongs with him. She's always had a crush on him and when he left town all those years ago, she thought it was over. Now that he's back, she still loves him but he is going to have to protect her from harm. I really can't wait for more in this series!
Rebekah is a precocious child who often sneaks over to Adam’s family ranch. Adam is much older but she still has a crush on him. Adam and his brothers move away after a fire at the ranch. Years later they return and Rebekah resumes her adventures to see what they are doing. This is a story of trials and tribulations that are difficult to overcome but it’s not impossible. I loved the characters and the interactions between them. The story keeps the reader involved and riveted. It could be a trigger for anyone who may have survived abuse.
Oh yeah, may I please have more!!!!!! I haven’t read a book so tailored to my taste in a long time! Rebekah is from a poor mountain homestead. Adam’s family are homesteaders too. They knew each other when young but when tragedy strikes Adam and his brothers don’t return to the mountain for years. It only takes an unexpected reunion to bring these two together. This has tiny, virgin, naive heroine and big, brawny mountain man. It has hot sex scenes and breeding. I’m so in love with this series and I’m extremely anxious for the other brothers to find their women! Great Job!
Warning: this book will be hazardous to your To-Do list.
The worst thing about his book is that you will want the next book in the series ASAP!
One of my favorite quotes is from Adam: “You said you wanted to marry me a decade ago. I’m sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I’m here now, sweetheart. I’ll be by your side for the rest of our lives.”
What a great start to a new series. Rebekah and Adam have known each other since they were kids and now Adam and his brothers have moved back to the mountains. Rebekah has loved Adam since she was 10 and said then she was going to marry him. Adam has found out that Rebekah's father isn't who he wants her to be around, so he decides to marry her to keep her save. Trouble follows when her father but, with his brothers can they protect her? Can't wait to see the other brother's get their HEA's.

This was so good! I love Becca Jameson’s work! Her writing style is so captivating! Literally finished this within hours of starting it! Adam and Rebekah are absolutely darling and are literally couple dreams! Can’t wait to read about the rest of the Gallant Men!
Wow... Dirty, sweet, emotional, and sexy!! Perfect amount of each packed into a perfect length story. Nothing too overboard. I liked that it didn't go in deep on anything unnecessary. It's that perfect little intermission book to read between the more full-on, intense stories we all have ❤️
What a wonderful start to a new series. I absolutely love Rebekah and Adam. I'm so happy that she was able to get away from her abusive father. Was not expecting that ending for her father but karma came for him.
These Gallant men can get ittt! I’m a sucker for a big ol’ mountain man, and we get 6 of them in total?! Adam and Rebekah are so sweet, and his mouth is filllthy. It’s a great balance of story, sweet, and spice. Absolutely can not wait to get my hands on the next brother!
6 mountain men brothers.. sign me up this is very insta-love and such a good fast pace read! i really enjoyed how the author portrayed the FMCs food insecurities and just how doting and loving the MMC was i cannot wait to read the rest of the series because the gallant brothers are something else!
Gallant Mountain is a new series for Becca and Adam is her first book in the series. I really enjoyed Adam and Rebekah's story and getting a glimpse into the other brothers. I can't wait to read their stories.
This book left me with quite a few questions that I'm hoping to get the answers to in the next book. What a way to put your future into the air, ten years ago, and it came true.
What a wonderful start to a new series. Adam and Rebekah, who have known each other all their lives, get together again when Adam discovers her tied to his kitchen chair lol. Rebekah has always had a crush on Adam but now she is an adult. Adam becomes super protective when Rebekah needs him the most. Can Adam protect Rebekah? Will their love triumph over the evil surrounding Rebekah? Love Adam and his brothers they are great characters and I'm sure their stories will be great too. Terrific start to this new series, love the ending too, sooo deserved.
