Have i already told you that i adore Laylah Roberts’ Daddies and their Littles?
Because even though may need their time to admit they’re worthy of being loved,they most certainly are!
And when they finally take that leap,they TAKE THAT LEAP!!!
Sanctuary Ranch is the safe haven for the Montana Daddies and their Littles,and this is where Hayes lives.
After losing his wife May,he lost himself too….but luckily for him,he wasn’t allowed to fade into nowhere by his friends.
Now he works for Kent at JSI,and is currently on assignment in Angel.
And that’s where Laylah found him…..guarding Sondra and Alan Stein together with Donovan.
Because Alan is getting death threats and needs bodyguards.
Now, if you know Laylah,you know she has her ways of steering people towards the ones that have the power to make their lives beautiful.
Even if they fight her every step of the way because they convinced themselves they’re not worthy.

Love love loved, Hayes and Devi's book!
I loved being back in this series and the blend of new and old characters.
As with every Laylah book I feel like I get pulled in, and I'm invested, and before you know it, a five hundred page book has been read.
Devi had lived through and dealt with so much heavy in her life, that her being with Hayes was exactly what she needed and deserved.
Hayes had a lot to unpack and deal with before fully committing to Devi, his wife/Little's passing years prior really left some trauma scars on his heart....but he got there, he figured out how to love and honor both of his women equally.
There are some former side characters that reappear and I found myself wondering and hoping who was getting a book soon. Also with the new characters and the town of Angel, I can help but wonder if Laylah has opened a new pool of characters to pick from for future books.
A very enjoyed read, and well worth staying up late to read! 💜🩵

I don’t know how Ms Roberts does it, but every book in this Series is outstanding and a joy to read. Hayes has retreated from his life. After losing his wife He is just going through the motions until he can join her in the afterlife. Devi’s life has been one of total hardship. Her mom died when she was young. Her brother is in jail for a crime he did not commit, and her father is deadbeat and toxic, but even through all of that, she tries to find the good in everything and everyone. When they meet both are drawn to each other and both for different reasons are thinking it’s an impossibility, because that’s what it is right? Oh this is a beautiful love story. We see many old friends along the way and Devi and Hayes realize that they are really not alone and that each have many people that care about them. There are many ups and downs in this book and a whole lot of overprotectiveness going on.Definitely a great read 🥰

I’ve enjoyed every book in the Montana Daddies series, but Hayes and Devi’s story is easily one of my favorites. Ms. Roberts delivers an intricately woven tale full of danger, suspense, drama, and romance that kept me hooked from start to finish.
Hayes, broken by the loss of his wife and little, has shut down emotionally, while Devi has faced hardship after hardship yet still manages to stay upbeat, until her world finally collapses. Their pairing was heartwarming and raw, showing all the reasons they shouldn’t work, but proving why they absolutely do. I loved how Hayes’ gruff, protective nature helped Devi find a safe place to explore her vulnerable side, and how their connection grew into something neither expected.
With memorable secondary characters, a steady pace, and two leads who come alive on the page, this is a standout addition to the series and a truly worthwhile read.

I truely loved this book, it is a very heartfelt story that will pull some heartstrings for some people. Hayes a badass who never smiled because he once had a wife and she died to early. However it seems fate has other ideas for him in the form of Devi, she is bright and bubbly and always has a smile for everyone and a positive attitude. Till one day she dosnt and Hayes is there for her. Hayes dosnt realise that hes fallen for this beautiful girl until the unthinkable happens.
For Devi dealing with her drunken father, her brother in prison and now a dangerous MC turning up on her doorstep, well even she has a breaking point.
Can Hayes be the daddy Devi really needs and at the same time prove to Devi that people really do care about her?

Two broken souls who come together to form a complete heart. Hayes has always been a quiet character in the background of many other stories. Finding out more about his painful past and how he struggles to fit into the new relationships in Sanctuary Ranch is heartbreaking. His partnership with Donovan, who drives him crazy; his "going through the motions" of life since the loss of his wife; his belief that he doesn't deserve a new happy all come into focus as he struggles to reconcile Devi and his new feelings for her with his guilt over not being there for the one who was his first, and what he thought was his only, love.

Stole my heart
What I loved most about Broken Daddy was the focus on the characters and their growing relationship. It’s a touching reminder of the healing power of love. Returning to this series was such a treat, with the perfect blend of familiar faces and new ones.
Devi shines as a bright light, full of positive energy despite her difficult upbringing, while Hayes makes the perfect grumpy Daddy to balance her out. Watching them come together was both heartwarming and compelling.
As always, Laylah Roberts delivers a story filled with suspense, drama, and romance. Once I start one of her books, I can’t put it down, and Broken Daddy was no exception.

sunshine soothes gloom
Devi is sunshine, she’s come up against hurt, pain and loss in her life but brightens the life of everyone she meets. Hayes on the other hand deals with his pain and loss by closing himself off. How these two characters find each other and heal is amazing (and utterly hilarious at times).
DDlg dynamic is at the heart of this book. Hayes is totally Daddy Devi needs.

Such a great story! I'm so happy that Hayes got his smile back. Devi had had such a crappy life, and somehow she always kept positive. Worrying about her brother in prison after being falsely accused, and sentenced to 10 years without parole. She's desperate to get away from her alcoholic father, and his gang related problems. Hayes saw her, and slowly found himself falling for her although he tried to fight his feelings. I really loved the HEA ending. Trish. A.

Excellent story, well written and very entertaining. It captured my attention at the very beginning and I did not want it to end. I loved Hayes and Devi and how he came into her life along with the fact that they saved each other. He is over protective but in a good way, especially with her Little. It’s great to see previous characters appear throughout this story. I loved everything about this story and would highly recommend it as a great read.

Broken Daddy
I feel like I was waiting forever for this to be released, it was worth the wait. Hayes was so well written. I loved him and how he came back to life from who his character was in the beginning to finding himself, it was a heart melting story line. Devi was written just as well. This was a fabulous read. And of course a lot of the JSI employees made appearances as well. I highly recommend this book and series.

I’ve been wanting Hayes to get his happily ever after as my heart has ached for him since his introduction to the series. Devi is absolutely perfect for him and I loved taking the journey with them as they both found healing and joy again.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. It was absolutely perfect. I loved the characters, especially Hayes with his brooding personality and Devis, who was funny and lovable. Honey and Devi's friend were my favourite. They both were funny and hadsuch a charm. I hope we get to meet these two in the future.

Another wonderful addition to series, wonderful characters and storyline that is a real heartfelt
Devi had accepted that things were not meant to be easy for her and yet she still continued to work as hard as she could holding down two jobs and saving every penny, she could so that she can fulfil her dream and send her pottery pieces to be judged and experts give their reports on the quality and her skills.
Her mother had encouraged her love in pottery and she had kept this up with the help of her original teacher who allowed her the use of her premises and kiln for her cleaning the studio every week as fair exchange. The deadline was drawing near and she only had two more pieces to finish and post to the judges and she had the money saved to pay the cost of transport safely.
She had been working so hard and had been treated terribly by her coffee shop job where she was constantly bullied and threatened with the sack, her one meal was never provided and she was starting to appear vert thin and tired by anyone that cared enough to take notice.
On her second job later in the evening serving at the local bar she was always treated well by Mac and the other waitress that were friends rather than employers, Mac always made sure she had something to eat before starting and watched out if there were any troublesome customers/
When she had been accosted in the bar Hayes and Mac had come to her assistance along with other regulars, then she had nearly been kidnapped by the same male when she’d been emptying the bin and Hayes saved her and chased down the perpetrator.
As Hayes and Devi seem to be dancing around each other much to the amazement of his colleagues as he has had no interest in any other people since his wife May had died several years before and yet he was putting himself out there for Devi.
I will not give away any more about the story apart from the fact her brother is currently in prison for a murder he never committed and nothing she has told anyone has made anyone look into the case and Devi needed her brother if only to protect her from her abusive and drunk stepfather.
I guarantee that readers will be totally captivated by this wonderful read and the book will hold your attention from start to finish I guarantee it.

I absolutely love this series…each book somehow manages to top the last! Laylah continues to deliver pure comfort reads, and no one writes daddy doms like she does. This installment might just be my favorite yet. It has all the tropes and themes I adore: hurt/comfort, grumpy/sunshine, suspense, found family, and so much heart.
Devi hasn’t had an easy life. After losing her mother, she leaned on her brother until he was wrongfully imprisoned. Now she’s stuck dealing with her toxic father and just wants a way out. Her dream? To sell her pottery and leave town for good.
Hayes works in security and is just going through the motions of life after losing his wife seven years ago. He’s been waiting to die, in a sense, until Devi enters his world. From the moment they meet, there’s a spark that slowly grows into something deeply healing and transformative.
I loved how protective and possessive Hayes was, without ever feeling controlling. He’s deeply scarred and doesn’t believe he deserves someone like Devi, which made their emotional journey even more impactful. Watching him come to terms with his grief and rediscover a reason to live was incredibly moving.

The first half of the book really drags and is really dreary, second half is really good.
I very nearly gave up on this book so many times, I’m so glad I didn’t, as the second half is really good. The first half is dreary. I don’t think the author could have made it anymore dreary to be honest. Devi is in her twenties and works two jobs as she’s saving to show her pottery and leave her fathers trailer. This is where it didn’t make any sense. Her dad is an alcoholic and really mean and takes money off Devi all the time, and he’s abusive! Yet she stays living with him, when she’s had offers from THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE to live with them yet she refused. WHY??? Devi is bullied by her boss at the coffee shop who doesn’t feed her and so she’s always starving, her dad abuses her, her brother is in prison, she has no life and does nothing but work. It’s depressing. Then just to add insult to injury there’s Hayes. Hayes lost his wife who was everything to him so he pretty much hates everyone.
When Hayes first meets Devi he’s drawn to her but he really doesn’t want to be, and fights it for ages. After something happens to Devi he cant fight his feelings for her anymore, FINALLY!
The second half of the book is like a totally different book and is really really good.

Yet she stays living with him, when she’s had offers from THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE to live with them yet she refused. WHY??? Devi is bullied by her boss at the coffee shop who doesn’t feed her and so she’s always starving, her dad abuses her, her brother is in prison, she has no life and does nothing but work. It’s depressing. Then just to add insult to injury there’s Hayes. Hayes lost his wife who was everything to him so he pretty much hates everyone.
When Hayes first meets Devi he’s drawn to her but he really doesn’t want to be, and fights it for ages. After something happens to Devi he cant fight his feelings for her anymore, FINALLY!
The second half of the book is like a totally different book and is really really good.

Brilliant I love Hayes and Devi so much I want to just but them both an laugh with Devi
Such a sweet and heart warming set of characters. Hayes is such a complex character with so much love wrapped up inside and I can't understand why everyone thinks he's grumpy. Devi is so sweet and kind whilst being so embattled with a smile and even a salt shaker available for anyone !!! This is one of those books that simultaneously pulls at your heart and wraps you in love and warmth while laughing you're backside off. Thank you Laylah Roberts for being able to consistently being able to bring such wonderful stories to life.I can honestly say that I have not had one story be a let down in way shape or form I absolutely love every single book. Thank you for being my favourite author your brilliant.

I loved this book it is such a feel good story even though there are some vicious scenes and what happens to Devi is appalling. Hayes may be a little overprotective but he is just what Devi needs. Devi is a sweetheart and is surrounded by such an eclectic group of friends all of whom just want to help her. I really identified with her relationship with her father and could feel her fear through the pages. Her determination to break free through her pottery and her work ethic are remarkable and when she stands up to Hayes she is so sweet about it. I really enjoyed the dialogue between Hayes and Donovan and with the other guys from Sanctuary Ranch, they are just what Devi needs and especially the littles. . A lovely story that will make you feel good all over.

Devi has had a hard life. Her mother died and left her to look after her alcoholic father. Her brother is in prison for a crime he didn't commit and her daytime boss is a butthole of the highest order. When Hayes is assigned as a bodyguard to Sondra, he frequents Devi's job. He is drawn to Devi, and wants to protect her. When he finds put that his current job has a connection to Devi, he tries to keep an eye out on her. There is a mutual attraction between them but Hayes is still mourning the loss of his wife. Devi has never had anyone really be there for her other than her brother, but he is in jail. Devi is working two jobs to support herself and fund her dream of escape. This book keeps you in your feelings as Hayes was worth it and more. I cannot wait for Rohan's book.

Hayes has had such a long road to healing. When he meets Devi, he begins to realize that he can and should open himself up to love again. I loved most of the story; the action, intrigue and slow burn romance made for a great read with well developed characters and good pacing. Where it fell apart for me was when the story transitioned to a Ddlg relationship. I loved how mush Hayes wanted to protect and provide a safe and loving space for Devi - so sweet and so very needed - but I felt as if the Ddlg components were almost added as an after thought and I ended up skipping through those parts of their story Overall, the story was good and I happily and voluntarily reviewed ít
