Initially, this book was a disappointment for me as the author seemed to be covering old ground basically reinventing the story he'd previously told in both volumes 1 and 2 of the series. It is only when you get to the last 20 per cent of the book that more is revealed and this book can be seen as an introduction to the next four books in the series.

That said I feel it could have been done better without going over old ground, hence my 3-star rating. In fact, you could start the series with this volume and not lose anything from reading the prior books. To others I'd say stick with it it's a competent tale, and the next few volumes are worth the reading.

Follows the Formula

This series has a formula for every book so far - the most attractive man and most attractive woman find each, then take time out from the bedroom to do stuff. One again, a good chunk of the book could be removed because it’s repetitious statements about how hot the other person is, etc.

Oh, and there’s a couple of things about the Seeders.

This is a fascinating series, and each book makes the whole thing more interesting. Glad I picked up these books, having a great time reading them.

Firmly a "meh". Short, rapid story that seemed all too convenient and easy for the main characters. The book reads like a prologue, a very lengthy prologue. I won't look for any other books in the series, I doubt I get much more depth. The concept is interesting but the writing is unimaginative, rapid and all too convenient for the the main stereotypical characters.

I really liked this story. Benny is left alive after a pulse from a dying star kills almost all humanity. A survival story that unfolds into a intergalactic story in the Seeders universe. A great introduction to another universe which left me longing for more.
