Amazing series and read. Only two problems, one it feels like you have to read all of her books she has ever written to get background/backstory. The series is not stand-alone fully like the author claimed in all these series. You must read all of them to understand the full story. Two, all of the books I got ( some from barns and noble then some from Amazon) had ink errors on the pages. Some ink was too bold and some was almost completely gone. I realize that it’s the publishers fault but it’s a repetitive problem.

finally dove into the God of Malice series by Rina Kent and I am honestly still trying to recover.
This series is DARK, obsessive, twisted, morally gray to the core, and yet I could not look away for a second. The intensity between the characters is absolutely consuming. Every interaction felt like a power play, every touch felt dangerous, and every chapter left me saying, “Just one more…” (which turned into no sleep 😅).
What I loved most is how unapologetically bold the story is. The characters are not meant to be perfect. They are flawed, possessive, broken…and somehow you still find yourself understanding them. Feeling for them. Even rooting for them when you probably shouldn’t be.
The tension? Suffocating in the best way.
The chemistry? Explosive.
The emotional damage? Significant.
If you love dark romance with psychological depth, obsessive heroes, strong heroines who don’t completely fold, and a storyline that keeps you emotionally on edge this series delivers.
Definitely check trigger warnings because this is not a light read. But if dark academia vibes, twisted love, and morally gray anti-heroes are your thing… welcome to your next obsession.
