Wowzers!!! The Road to War grabbed me and held me hostage to the very end. The Dogs of Fire and all of the wonderful spin-offs have been must reads for years. I have witnessed horrible situations, but The Road to War has blown them all away.
Thankfully the author was kind enough to write a beautiful second chance romance to help ease the blow. Rooster left town years ago, fleeing his failures for the safety of the Howlers in Colorado. He told Katie he would be back. She didn’t think it would take so long. Katie and Rooster are a beautiful statement of undying love.
I closed the book with my sides still hurting. Hatch had made a decision, thinking his was doing the right thing. With is brothers by his side, he risked everything. Maisie and the other old ladies did not agree with their decision. They let them know it. Goodness, gracious.I laughed so hard. Tears fell in glorious solidarity. I sure hope the guys learned their lesson. Never mess with an old lady.

Once again I was swept away in this captivating story with its unforgettable characters and emotional depth.
In this gripping tale the Dogs of Fire MC and the Gresham Spiders MC are at war and what a battle it is! You will be on the edge of your seat the entire time! I literally could not put this book down!
I was thrilled that this book focuses on two of my favorite characters, Hatch and Maisie! Maisie’s dealing with the club had me in stitches! Priceless!
Piper and Jack Davenport have built a whole wonderful universe in the Primal Howlers, Burning Saints, and Dogs of Fire MCs that you're definitely going to want to check out! These characters are so well written that you become immersed in their lives and feel like you too are a part of this intriguing family.

As soon as this one hit my Kindle I cracked it open. I couldn’t wait to get back to the world that this author and her husband created. Not only did it hit the ground running, but there was so much going on that I didn’t realize how far into it I’d gotten in such a short time. I finished Rooster and Katie’s story in one sitting. Between their story, the new scenery, old friends and family that we missed more than we knew on top of the crazy and chaos that comes with the Spiders, this was exactly what I was hoping it to be. When you toss in Hatch and Maisie’s side story, it’s everything really. I absolutely loved Maisie’s cheeky sass. I loved Hatch’s inner voice when it came down to business. All in all this was 100% what I needed and enjoyed every page.

Absolutely awesome read, it was a great big catch up with all the Dogs of Fire MC. Rooster has always been a favourite and I loved reading about him and Kate ❤️❤️❤️ he is sweet and cheeky but needs to convince Kate of his undying love, he has his work cut out for him. Hatch continues to keep the peace till his long time enemy steps way over the line, his retribution ends up biting him on the butt when Maisie hands out punishment to all the men for scaring the women 🤣 they comply while grumbling but dare not complain. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

This ones is more like two stories in one book. You have a new couple and an incident with a beloved couple. Rooster left Katie without and explanation. She thought they were in love and were going to be together for ever. The dogs arrest at war with the spiders and he comes back. Katie is afraid to let him back in. Her pushes until she relents and listens to what he has to say. Can she trust that he won’t runoff on her again? Then you have Hatch and what he decides to do to fix the problem that have. When Masie finds out All hell breakers lose. You have to she decides to do so he never does anything like that again.

This war has been brewing through several books & whew! The culmination of it is heartbreaking & intense!
We get four POVs & I love how that makes the story come together. We get Rooster & Kate's reunion/second chance and Hatch & Maisie's continued relationship. And amidst the romance & steam of our main couples, we also are getting to know some new characters & see how the war with those nasty Spiders shakes out. Lots of great family time - biker, blood, and found. 😁
I enjoyed how the four POVs were written & told the story.
Also, more Hatch & Maisie are always appreciated! 😄

Road to War
It seems like forever that we waited for this story after getting the tease of it, and I have to say that it wasn't in vain. I loved the way this story revolved around so many characters at once; yes it was Rooster and Katie's story, but it was also Hatch and Maisie's and it was the Dogs.... It was so much and at no time did I feel like it was a story I was reading. Having read the entire series I felt like I was really in their lives living this drama along with them. I love the way Piper Davenport writes.

OK, I’m not even sure where to start with this review, this story was so good and I was sucked in from the very first page!
Yes, while this was Rooster and Katie’s story it was also so much more. The threat to the Dogs of Fire is woven in through the story, and there was so many layers to Hatch not only being the president, but how it affected every facet of his life.
I don’t wanna give anything away just trust me. This is so worth the read absolutely five stars for me!

The Banter!!!
Okay, As long as Piper Writes, I am going to read! The banter in this book was beyond! I found myself cracking up on several occasions. There is definitely some heavy material in this one but I fell so hard for Kate and Rooster! And as always I must say, Hatch is always welcome to the party! He and Maisie are my Faves! Another banger, Piper!

I absolutely loved this book. It really starts off with a bang! Just keep your interest from start to finish. Piper’s books keep getting better and better! I absolutely loved Rooster and Katie’s story, along worth more from Maisie and Hatch. I can’t wait for more books, so hurry up and write! lol.

I am glad this book didn't take the turn I thought it would,I would have never recovered. It is so nice to watch all these DOGS fall for strong,feisty,loyal women. I have read every book in this series and I hope they never stop, each one gets better

Can't get enough
Piper has done it again. I have every book in this series on my kindle and finished this one in 2 days. The entire series and the spin-offs are outstanding. I wish I could keep up with all the crossovers to her other series as well. This one is worth the read.

This book was so good. It had so much going on and Hatch and Maisy were in the middle of it all. Amazing story filled with chemistry, family and nail biting scenes. I could not put it down.

All is fair...
We all want to be Maisie when we grow up and have a Hatch in our life! This is probably my favorite couple of all time to read and I read this book way to fast!

But working Rooster and Katie working through their issues brings them back together, whereas Hatch and Maisie find that while stressed, they aren’t communicating like the couple we love. So what happens when Maisie ends up sick and Hatch decides to end the war on his own?
Rooster and Katie get their happy ending, and Hatch and Maisie are back on solid ground in this standalone book in a series.
While I wish we had just Rooster and Katie’s story of them coming back together again, I understand that this was just as much Hatch and Maisie part two.
