Jules Ford brings you the Kings of Anarchy MC, Wyoming. A gritty new series set within the bestselling, multi-author shared world.
Pagan
When I opened my chapter of the Kings of Anarchy MC, I vowed to put all my energy into making the club a success. I had a legacy to live up to and a lot to prove, not just to my brothers, but also to myself. Meeting Aislynn O’Shea the week after I landed in the town of Coal Creek was an unexpected curve ball, and a big ol’ case of ‘right woman, wrong time.’ Therefore, I did everything in my power to push her away.
I got what I wished for because months have passed, and Aislynn still won’t even acknowledge me. Also, as if I didn’t have enough to deal with, the local crooked sheriff and his deputies are on my club’s back, and I have to win over a town full of people who don’t want us here.
A lesser man would crumble, but I’m a King, and it’s time for this king to not only win over his queen, but also his realm.
Anyone who tries to stand in my way will learn the hard way that nobody f*cks with the Kings.
There’s no way she’s connected to the Irish mob. Nothing about her weak character makes me think that could be true in any universe. And he’s too stupid to be president or any kind of decent father. Embarrassing, really.
I don't even know where to begin with this. It was absolutely awful He is definitely not an adult let alone a father or a president of the MC. Just when I thought she finally had a backbone and would be A smart woman she proved pathetic these characterSupposed to be Irish mob and tA smart woman she proved pathetic these A smart woman she proved pathetic these characters can be. Would not recommend a book like this. He is a MC president and this is how he behaves absolutely pathetic and disgusting... Doormat of a female abusive Whiny brat as a president. Have no interest in any more of these characters none of them are loyal everyone has excuses and abuses each other.
This was OTT and will probably be problematic for some. While I enjoyed it the H Pagan/Aiden is manipulative, pushy, and OTT alpha. He gaslights the h and gives her zero choices. He calls her bitch etc and pushes her away constantly. Crazy whiplash. Most of the time I do not like Jules Ford's FMCs, but Aislynn was ok, but still the H stole the show. That's the usual for this author for me as well. Her FMCs take a bit of a backseat compared to the MMCs. This was instalove as well, so if that's not your thing you won't like this. There are many side characters from this author's other series that make an appearance. But you won't be too confused reading this. Overall I enjoyed this, but Pagan does have some problems. If you're looking for grovel you won't find it here.
Safety: he makes no promises. double standards. a club whore and one of his brothers sets it up to make it look like Pagan cheated. there was physical contact.
If you want a level of laughter mixed with some toxicity then this is the book for you. Honestly there’s parts in this book that had me laughing so hard I had tears running down my face lol , but ………. It also broke me in a few places when she felt heartbreak and grief and everything else the world throws her way, but man is Aishlynn one tough cookie she picks her self back up again.
Aislynn & Pagan are one toxic couple with a capital T, but the fire and attraction between them is off the charts the president of the kings of anarchy is a hot head but add in a gobby Irish girl and you got yourself a right pair. Yet again Jules has outdone herself with a new mc in town and add in a mix of some of the speed demons and good old Tristan you got yourself one hell of a book.
IMixed emotions, and they were just mine !!! Been waiting to read Pagan and Aislynn’s story since reading a teaser/snippet at the end of “ On The Rocks” another Jules Ford masterpiece. I was NOT disappointed. Mind blown, emotionally shaken YES😃 have you ever tried fixing something without all the pieces , we have Pagan, Alpha A-hole. Enter Aislynn, although not trying to fix Pagan, she rolls with what she’s got filling in the many blanks on the way, it’s one hell of a ride. I started the ride with her and finished up befuddled!😃 loved this page turner couldn’t put it down except to eat and drink . Even then whilst still reading.
This story was a doozy! I knew after the end of Donovan and Rosie's story that these two, Aislynn and Pagan were getting to be a spicy pair. And they didn't disappoint! This story and this pair were quite the roller coaster. So many ups and downs, emotions, and I wanted to smack Pagan at times lol. But in the end, Pagan was just a man in love. I loved Aislynn and her fierceness. Fantastic story and I didn't want it to end.
This is a super angsty, roller coaster of a ride with tons of action, betrayal, desires, spice, age gap and more. Pagan and Aislynn’s is not sweet and hearts and flowers, no it is MESSY and Toxic and an emotional roller coaster ride that you just want to smack Pagan so many times.
I have never wanted to throat punch a fictional character as much as I wanted to hurt Pagan! He is a self proclaimed asshole. Scary. Stubborn. Bossy. Aislynn has her hands full with this one. If I was her friend I would probably try to warn her away from their toxic relationship, but I can also see the appeal of a passion that burns so hot it almost consumes you. That alley scene!! Omg! They have a chance at an epic love story if they do not kill each other first. I appreciated the real portrayal of how addiction and neglect can destroy lives and how the demons from childhood can lead to broken men. I enjoyed the cameos from of the Speed Demon MC family and those delicious Irish brothers. I highly recommend this new installment in the Kings of Anarchy series.
I do love this author, her books draw you right in. Pagan is an absolute b*****d and has a thick skull you just wanna hit him on the head with Maureen's frying pan! If you haven't read any of Jules Ford's books, where the hell have you been? Her men are tough but so are the women but love conquers all. Each story you can't put down. 5 stars for this book but it should be a 10 star.
Jules warned us that he wouldn’t grovel and he certainly did not. But I’m so glad Aislynn wasn’t a doormat. She stood up to Pagan every step of the way. Yes, he’s a jerk and definitely not the kind of man I would ever put up with, but still a very enjoyable read.
These stories are wonderful. The Speed Demons, the Lucky Shamrock and now the Kings. The sense of family, loyalty and love. Even with as awful as Pagan could be, you rooted for Aiden and Ash to find their way. Loved how Mam orchestrated things behind the scenes. Jules Ford, you are amazing.
If we got to play these games and manipulations then is it really worth it? This has got to be an exhausting and overly emotional life. With that being said this was a very very light MC book. It was mainly about the main characters relationship, which was ok but not what I sign up for when I want to read an MC book.
Another awesome read from Jules,. this book had a lot of spice and was fire from the off. Loves catching up with some of Jules characters from other series. That ending came from left field and I loved it.
This book was amazing. Full of ups and downs, wins and losses. Pagan was the perfect anti hero. He was OTT, rude and so full of himself that I couldn’t help but be drawn to him. From the moment I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Excited to see who is next up for a book in this series.
Property of Pagan by Jules Ford absolutely hooked me from the first page and refused to let go. This book is dark, intense, emotional, and completely addictive.
Pagan is the ultimate anti-hero, the kind you know you shouldn’t root for, yet somehow you do anyway. He’s surrounded by red flags, drenched in them honestly, and half the time you’re questioning your own morals for swooning. He’s possessive, ruthless, and morally gray to his core — the kind of character you love to hate and hate to love. Jules Ford does an incredible job of making him both terrifying and magnetic. You’re constantly torn between wanting to shake him and wanting him to win.
And then there’s Aislynn. Sweet, strong, and carrying that deep-rooted loyalty that makes her feel so real. She’s like her mammy: nurturing, steadfast, and almost too forgiving at times. Her compassion adds such a powerful contrast to Pagan’s darkness. You want her to protect her heart, to set boundaries, to run, but at the same time, her softness is what makes her strength shine. She’s not weak; she just loves deeply.
The tension between them? Off the charts. The push and pull, the angst, the emotional turmoil, it all builds into something consuming. This isn’t a light romance; it’s gritty and raw and messy in the best way.
If you love dark romance with morally gray men, emotional depth, and characters who make you question everything, Property of Pagan is a must-read. Jules Ford delivered a story that lingers long after the final page.
Ok, so I had a big old rant for this one typed out and Goodreads did me dirty. So, I will summarize below:
Pagan was a dick. He was emotionally abusive, dismissive and manipulative. For some reason Ash felt he was the “one” so she put up with his shit and thought she won the prize in the end when he put a diamond dog collar on her and chained her to his bed.
Here’s just one example with Pagan speaking to Ash at his clubhouse: “You said you were tired, right, babe? Early start tomorrow. Need your ass outta here in plenty of time before my boys turn up. Can’t have ’em meetin’ any old bitch, can I?” How does Ash respond to this? Before she obeys and leaves the clubhouse… “Aislynn leaned forward, kissed my cheek softly, and whispered, “Later, honey.” Geesh, no wonder Pagan treats her like shit, she just puts up with it.
My original review had many detailed instances of Pagan’s modus operandi, him getting upset at Ash for a perceived slight, his verbal abuse, his subsequent sexual coercion and Ash’s compliance. Rinse and repeat. It was depressing. I don’t have the energy to retype.
His use of Saskia (villian from Callum’s book) as a foil to force Ash to talk to him was truly reprehensible. In no universe would Callum, Maeve, Rosie or Atlas be able to forgive or forget his actions. And Ash shouldn’t have either, but of course she did.

I am totally overwhelmed after reading this. Amazing writing style and plot in the first (but definitely not the last) book by Jules Ford that I have read. I loved how she weaved everything and gave us a rollercoaster of a story (especially the emotional aspect of it). I loved Aislynn – her spirit and determination and the fact that, even if she gives second chances and chooses her battles, she doesn’t back down when it counts and puts Pagan in his place when needed. Pagan on the other hand….I have mixed feelings about him. He is exactly what the author said in her dedication page (which I can’t repeat, but you’ll get it when you read the book) and he is unapologetic about it. Alpha through and through, determined, possessive, controlling but also selfish and, well, childish (in my opinion) at times. I wanted to smack him on the head more times than I could count, but in the end, he proved to be what Aislynn needed. I don’t think I would have liked him otherwise – and still, I admit he is not my favorite. But, the story and the characters are so addictive that I don’t find it in me to even retract a star from the review because of his ways. I am so impressed, in fact, that I am ready to dive in other books in the same universe by the author that are out there. So, 5 stars.
This book is definitely different for Jules Ford. Pagan is a former marine who endured a terrible childhood, and carries the scars to this day. He is a hard man, who finally found his place with the Kings, and earned the right to be Pres of the new Wyoming chapter. Aislynn is the only daughter of the O'Shea family. She has three older, protective brothers, and her Mam. One look and Pagan knew he wanted her. Aislynn is drawn to the handsome, dangerous biker like a moth to a flame. After a couple dates, he knows she is his. He wants a good woman for his boys, and for him to come home to. But, the club and his boys come first. They always will. He doesn't do soft. He wants Aislynn, but it will be on his terms. When Ash walks in on him in a compromising position with a club girl, she's done. Can this damaged man get her to listen, and understand? Can they move past a huge misunderstanding? Can they survive all the twists and turns and will Aislynn finally become Property of Pagan? This book was one helluva ride! I hated Pagan, loved Aislynn, and came to understand them both. You knocked it out of the park, Jules Ford!
pagan & aislynn: triggers- drug abuse, domestic abuse, slight bondage, sexual assault, loss, grief, assault. this book was difficult to get through and not really because of the triggers but more so because pagan was an complete jerk off for the entire book. I mean he wasn't even an alpha hole he was worse and I didn't see anything redeeming about him towards the end. this is a bit of a slow burn with some naughty moments mixed in throughout. I did enjoy that this book was not only "supposedly" connected to the KOAMC series but that it is also of the world as the author's other series so it feels kind of like I've read the siblings story in order. Aislynn is the sister of the O'Shea brothers and I just recently read "On the Rocks" featuring Callum and Maeve so it was good to catch up with those characters. as far as the book's connection to the kings of anarchy, I didn't really get a connection other than the author name dropping character names from other books in the series and the book is more focused on the push and pull between Pagan and Aislynn and not so much club activity. however the book rest okay.
"We need a little fire to light our souls— Even if it burns us to a cinder."
Property Of Pagan is book 1 in the Wyoming Chapter of the Kings Of Anarchy MC series. It's Aislynn O'Shea and Aiden "Pagan" Sinclair's journey. It's anything but sweet, soft and gentle.
"You taste like trouble and there ain’t nothin’ sweeter.”
Nothing simple about Pagan at all and there were soooooooooo many times I'd liked to have caused serious harm to him, still do if I'm honest. He's one of those characters that makes a book just by being the way he is. Then there's Aislynn. I was a little worried about her for a minute but soon found out my girl is a bit more fierce than I gave her credit for. It's absolutely one huge, wild ride and an absolute must read! Though it isn't necessary as Pagan and Aislynn absolutely stands on their own, I'd really suggest reading this authors Speed Demons MC series and The Lucky Shamrock. There's interconnecting characters and they're all brilliant!
"Wasn’t perfection just an illusion? Weren’t we all broken in some way?"
So good! What a wild ride! I have read other novels by this author and loved them. This novel did not disappoint. I was excited to jump into this novel and it did not let me down. I love a good MC novel and this novel checked so many boxes for me. I loved Aislynn and Pagan's novel. Their chemistry was intense. I loved Aislynn and how fierce she was. Now there were times I wanted to shake Pagan but in the end I loved him. From the first chapter this novel captured my attention and held on tight until the very last page. Once I started reading I couldn't and didn't want to put this novel down. I loved watching their defenses and walls come down and open up to each other and fall in love. Such a wild ride! I love when a novel has me on the edge of my seat and can make me laugh out loud at times. So much fun I didn't want this novel to end. I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So so good!
All I can say is heed Ms. Ford’s trigger warnings at the start of the book – the hero “is morally grey and makes no apologies for it.”
Ain’t that the truth!
I was sucked into the story from the first page, mainly because I’ve been waiting for Aislynn & Pagan’s story since they were introduced in an earlier book. Yes, I wanted to hit him over the head with a frying pan – on more than one occasion. How could he treat Aislynn like that!
There were many times I wanted to throw my Kindle in frustration, but I was warned. Despite Pagan’s a**holish-ness, I did care & root for him to be better – for himself and for Aislynn. At the same time, I did yell at her to get out & bid good riddance… but he wasn’t all bad.
So, yes, Ms. Ford had me coming and going. Another reviewer described Pagan as the perfect anti-hero. He is that, yet the author made me care & cheer for his HEA. Looking forward to reading more from this series.
But in all honesty I just didn’t. Pagan is a horrible man with zero respect for a woman he can’t seem to let go. He’s abusive. Childish and arrogant - none of which are redeeming qualities.
Do you think after ash leaves him that he changes. Nope which made me hate ash as well. Why would you allow any man you loved speak t you or treat you like trash. I’m all for possessive bikers and arrogant alphas but this was just airing on a side of violence and abuse. Did he hit her? No but the names he called her. Kidnapped and basically assaults her. Wasn’t for me.
I read a lot of dark romances but this just disappointed me. Pagan is and should be every woman’s red flag.
The only reason it gets 2 stars is for the OSheas and speed demons carrying the story.
Not into abusive horrible men and spineless brain dead women. It’s not romance imo.
This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster, and I'm here for every twist and turn! Pagan is the ultimate alpha-hole, and while I'm not sure I even like him, that's a testament to the author's skill. Jules Ford never disappoints, and this book was an unputdownable, sleep-depriving masterpiece. Pagan and Aislynn's toxic relationship is captivating, and I couldn't get enough of their dynamic. Aislynn's strength in dealing with Pagan's mood swings and his "not my ol' lady" excuse had me both frustrated and hooked. This book left my head spinning and craving more of Pagan, the bad boy you love to hate, and Aislynn, the only woman who can handle him. If I could give it a million stars, I would! 🤩📚
Before starting please read the trigger warnings, this story isn't for everyone. And Pagan makes no apologies for who he is.
When I heard Jules Ford was going to be joining the Kings of Anarchy, I was absolutely elated!
You knew that after reading Rosie and Donovan's story that Aislynn and Pagans was going to be nitty gritty. Since getting snippets of the two of them you knew it was going to be a wild ride from the start. Aislynn never backed down to Pagan and always kept him on his toes.
The way that Jules Ford is able to weave in all the emotions along with the ups and downs is absolutely magnificent. This story is not flowers and roses. This story is messy and toxic and an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. I laughed and cried and could not help but devour this book.
I cannot wait for the next book in the Wyoming chapter!
