K.V. Ankers is a Barossa Valley based, South Australian author who loves writing romance stories set in her own backyard, where only her characters can compare to her real-life sassy nature.
K.V. is fuelled by her addiction to coffee, dark romance, and the tears of her readers. If she’s not killing off a main character, then you can be sure she’s bending readers' minds with a plot twist or making them scream at the cliffhanger.
When she’s not in her writing cave, aka her home library, you can find her living her own happily ever after with her retired military husband and family. Or sipping a glass of her beloved Barossa Shiraz, listening to music, and planning the next story to make readers curse out loud.
Delve into the twisted mind of K.V. Ankers if you dare…
Woah, if you thought I loved the 2nd book, wait til you hear about this one! This was absolutely sensational and I am still - days later - thinking about it!
This was the best conclusion to this trilogy and I haven’t had anything compare to it in a long time! Getting to watch Aria come into herself and ready to fight against anything that comes her way in to claim what is rightfully hers!
The twists and turns in this book had me reeling! I thought I knew what was going to happen, or I’d anticipate something (that damn paranoia) and bam it was delivered better than I could have even imagined!
Guys I growled, GROWLED at my child for wanting to be fed because I didn’t want to put this down🤣
Viktor and Arias relationship was full of everything you’d want and more In a book like this and I assure you, as a Vampire, he is nothing like old sparkles in twilight 🤣 Id very much hand myself over to this vamp.
The banter throughout this whole series is elite and such a comfort while you go through the motions! Aria is a sassy and strong will FMC while Viktor is the man willing to get on his knees like a good MMC should
I would and will 100% reread this series
KV has absolutely smashed this and should be so proud!
"If you’re going to come for me and mine, you better make sure you don’t miss."
WHAT A RIDE. The third book in The Den series is sure to smack you in the face with emotions, flip you over, shake you up and then start all over again. This book was the culmination of events that began way back when, in Temptation Awakened, with foreshadowing that was dropped without you even realising. I was constantly going back to books one and two, picking out pieces that I had missed but suddenly began pivotal to the events transpiring in this most recent instalment. Aria and Viktor go through a roller coaster of events to find an ending befitting that of royalty, and if you think the story ends with them...boy do you have another thing coming!
"I will love her from afar. Support her from the shadows. Take every scrap she can spare. And I will do it all with a smile and a grateful heart, because I have known true love."
"If you’re going to come for me and mine, you better make sure you don’t miss."

Mara’s death triggers a series of events no one could predict.
As Aria works with The Den investigating Mara’s death the politics relating to her arranged marriage which causes her people to question her loyalty and her suitability to be named heir to the Kingdom of Lust.
As this goes on Aria comes to understand what she stands to gain and lose should she choose to campaign to become heir.
I loved the characters. The good guys had attitude and snark, but inherently meant well whether it worked or not and the bad guys twirled their mustaches and got with the doing bad. Viktor was probably my favourite character. He seemed to get the most loving and dedicated boyfriend lines that my heart melted over.
The only slight issue I had was a personal thing. Viktor highlighted how old he was and he would use terms that felt inappropriate. An example of this is “And if you think that’s impressive, you should see the other one at my estate. It’s underground and everything.” The language felt both young and not something a lawyer would say.
Ultimately it was a good conclusion to the trilogy. I did feel that the ending was rushed. There was a surprise which I was overall happy about, but wished I had been included.
Overall a fun trilogy with a satisfying conclusion.
I really enjoyed this conclusion to the sassy Aria and her quest to claim what was rightfully hers, all along.
The summation of what has been building for the last two books was done really well, all characters had their time to shine. The relationship between Aria and her vampire was just beautiful, and flowed really well. The spice was absolutely phenomenal. Not too much, not too little.
Another fantastic book in the series!!! The twists and turns are so engaging!! I just had to know the answers to all my questions!!! Aria is definitely my favourite female character and Thane is my favourite male! He definitely needs his own story!!
I loved the ending of the story especially the outcome for 3 characters!! This series has been a wonderful story and I can’t wait to read more from this fantastic author!! Also!!! I loved the sneaky info drop in the acknowledgments!! How exciting!!
Now that I have had a full day to digest the happenings of the finale in this trilogy I will review.
Let's start with OMG... the way that K.V. ended this was phenomenal. the tension building, the unforeseen twist and the moments that made me laugh and gasp out loud (I swear people on my commute thought I was having an episode) Just Outstanding!
I cannot wait to see more from K.V. in the future and will be lining up pre-release for it all.
OMG!! This finale to the trilogy was so highly anticipated and was very nuch worth the wait!!
My patience was rewarded with answers to MOST of my questions and I feel that this was the perfect ending after we had been by Aria's side throughout her awakening and acceptance of parts of herself and the world around her far beyond any of her wildest imaginings.
The explosive chemistry between Aria & Viktor is deliciously intense, balanced by the cheeky banter of Eros!
I absolutely adored the endless twists and turns and political intrigue with almost nobody being who they seemed until they were forced to reveal their true characters.
K.V Ankers is an incredible storyteller and I am excited to see where she takes us next!
