I’ve been waiting for the ending to this trilogy since the reveal at the end of Nest of Lies. Sera, Maliki, Morpheus, and Hades’ journeys culminate as the danger of Demeter hangs over them. They needed to put aside their insecurities to work together to defeat Demeter and free Persephone. I’m so happy with how everything turned out and am hoping for more stories in this world. 10/10, would recommend 💛🖤💛🖤

Knotted Myths brings the trilogy to a close with the same intensity and emotional weight that’s been building from the start.

Stepping back into this world feels like walking straight into the aftermath of everything Seraphina finally remembers.

What stood out most is how personal this book feels for Seraphina. With her memories restored, the emotional fallout hits harder.

She’s not searching for identity anymore. She’s reclaiming it.

The mate circle dynamic is at its most fractured, but I felt that's what makes the  tension work. Maliki and Morpheus are steady in their loyalty, while Hades remains the unpredictable force who refuses to fit neatly into anyone’s expectations.

Watching them try to function as a unit,  despite broken trust, clashing motives, and centuries of tangled history, adds a layer of emotional complexity that feels earned rather than dramatic.

The mythology deepens without overwhelming the character focus, and I found myself more invested in Seraphina’s internal conflict than the external danger, and that balance is where the finale shines.

As a conclusion, it delivers what the trilogy promised: answers, consequences, and a woman who refuses to be defined by the myths written over her. It is a satisfying end to a series built on power, identity, and the messy truth of connection.

Tropes
• Why‑choose mate circle
• Memory regained
• Betrayal revealed
• Omegaverse energy
• Found loyalty
• Power reclamation
• Lovers with clashing motives

Trigger Warnings
• Manipulation and betrayal
• Violence and bloodshed
• Power imbalance
• Emotional overwhelm
• Dark memory reveals

This was such an amazing story to finish the series of nicely and finally get to see our favourite characters for the last time. With Sera and her mates. Hades, Maliki and Morpheus as they finaly uncover answers and what actually happened to persephone. It's full of the right amount of heat, drama and suspence which will blow you away. But there's also guest appearance from Alina and her guys which made me smile. And then there's the villan lurking behind the seens and threatening everything Sera and her guys have fought to have. Not to mention the lost Omega soles that need to be found. And the sweet pip who will do all he can to help. lexi stores always have a swoon worthy ending that this story definitely has. And Maliki just cracks me up when it comes to him and Hades along With the banter with the guys and even with Reaper who are so mush alike it's almost scary but in the good way. And although this was the last story I'm glad there's going to be more from this universe and hopefully we'll get to see guest appearance from them in the future. I can’t wait!!

Knotted Myths was a good read. I couldn't really get into the story at first. Eventually, it picked up, and I found myself enjoying the story. The characters are making great progress. Sera is discovering who she is outside of Persephone, Hades acknowledges that he's fudged things up with her, and the mating circle is taking steps in the right direction. It took some time and a lot of explanation (and some apologizing) on Hades's end, but things got settled.

I'm a mythology nut, so I love that even more was included this time around. We see more of Ares and the inside of Pandora's box. I have a feeling that Lexi has at least one new book in the works. Maybe focusing on a certain gorgon? I can only hope. The plot was enjoyable, and at times it felt like the juiciest piece of gossip with Persephone's past and Demeter's true actions getting revealed. Talk about toxic relationships. Things got dramatic; it was great. Lexi painted a fantastical picture that felt like pure magic. Knotted Myths was an entertaining read and a good ending to the series.

This last book is faced paced full of action, spice and plenty of twists and turns, really sad this one is over but hoping we see so much more in this world in the future!

“My body is your canvas to explore, to bloody, to hurt, to do whatever you wish."

I really enjoyed this book and the series as a whole. I am glad Hades finally got his act together. I think Morpheus flirting with Maliki was kinda funny at times, and honestly was surprised I didn't read them getting together. Overall this was a good read and a great series. Definitely recommend to someone.

I don’t know if I’m not clicking with this authors work anymore or if her quality has just generally gone down.
I used to love her books but now every time I read something new of hers, it feels like I’m reading her old work. Plots, characters, storylines. It’s all the same just different titles and characters.

Objectively speaking this wasn’t a bad trilogy, it just lacked substance (imo). The characters to me felt bland and very surface level even by the last book. I’d go more into detail as to why I didn’t enjoy this trilogy but quite frankly I don’t want to. Do with this what you will🫠😭

I honestly skipped so much of this series and felt like I missed nothing. I like the overall concept but this trilogy was just too long and convoluted for me. Loved the ending. Their Lethal Pet was more my speed and I love that they made an appearance here. I still enjoyed the trilogy, it just wasn't my favorite.

The Verdict: 4.5 / 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

To start off, I went into this series riding on purely immaculate vibes, and it did not disappoint. I’ve been trash for Hades and Persephone retellings ever since my ancient *Lore Olympus* Webtoon days back before I even started reading "real" books. So, finding a published retelling was an instant "add to cart."

But finding out it was a *reverse harem*? Say less. Why settle for one broody underworld deity when you can have three? God tier logic.

What really elevated this from a fun mindless read to actual peak literature was the character development. These weren't shallow, cardboard-cutout hot guys. They had deep, messy, realistic flaws. The author didn’t just *tell* us they had issues; we actually saw it manifest in their toxic communication styles, their behavior, and how they handled trauma. It made the high-stakes fantasy feel grounded and incredibly addictive.

⭐ The Lineup ⭐

👑 Sera: My Girl ❤️

I spent the first half of this book just wanting to wrap this girl in a blanket. Imagine finding out your soul reincarnated into a completely new person, you have zero memories of your past life, and you’re just trying your best to be a strong woman like your older sister, Alina. But instead of a warm welcome, Hades treats you like absolute garbage because he thinks you're Persephone wearing a human meat-suit, playing mind games.

In the beginning, Sera just... took it. She accepted punishment for a past life she didn't even remember, which triggered my intense love-hate relationship with Hades. But once she got Persephone’s memories back and realized *exactly* who she was? Iconic. She chose to be *Sera*—not a shadow of the past, not Serapina. Just Sera. The absolute growth, the sudden acquisition of a backbone, and the sheer strength she showed while fighting for her mate circle made me fall in love with her. We stan a self-aware, fierce queen.

🗡️ Maliki: The Blueprint ♥️♥️

We started off with the classic, cliché broody-but-flirty assassin archetype, seasoned with a healthy dose of dark humor. This man single-handedly carried the comedic relief during Hades's "Absolute Jackass" era. Watching Maliki munch on popcorn while Sera absolutely sassed Hades into the dirt was peak comedy.

He was fierce, independent, and refused to bow down to the other guys. Originally, he was just supposed to protect Sera on Hades's orders, keeping his distance because he knew he'd fall for her. But their connection completely shattered his loyalty to the crown. Once he was in, he was *all* in. She became his universe.

> **A Quick Grievance:** I am legally obligated to state that the lack of sword-crossing (M/M) between him, Morpheus, and Hades is a tragedy. The absolute battle for dominance during the spice scenes would have altered my brain chemistry. Alas, we were robbed.

👁️ Morpheus: My Day One, My Yearner ♥️

The undisputed favorite. This man defines the term "yearner." Even back in the past life, he put her needs above his own, letting Hades have her all to his possessive self because he knew a shared dynamic back then would force her to choose and he refused to break her. The sheer restraint and respect this man possessed? Unmatched.

From page one, he was entirely dedicated to her, even at his own expense. He was patient, guiding her through her trauma while fiercely protecting her. Plus, his playful, flirty dynamic with both Sera and Maliki was top-tier. (Again, the missed opportunity for an M/M moment here is devastating. The vision was there!) His creativity and the way it manifested through his powers was beautiful to watch.

💀 Hades: From Zero to Hero

In the beginning, this man was the undisputed CEO of Assholes. An idiot of mythic proportions. He was punishing an innocent woman for crimes committed two thousand years ago by a person who technically no longer existed. His communication skills were in the absolute trenches—he kept trying to solve problems with aggressive actions rather than just *talking*, when words were desperately needed.

Honestly, though? I loved that about the writing. His toxic traits felt realistic, not romanticized. Watching him slowly learn to love the differences between Sera and the old Persephone, learning to see her for who she is *now*, was incredible character growth. He literally leveled up to become a better god for her. He learned to share the sandbox with Morpheus and Maliki instead of acting like a toddler with a shiny toy. By the time he fully accepted the mate circle, I was completely sold.

🌶️ The Spice Logistics

*Lord have mercy.* These men are finer than expensive wine.

* **Morpheus** acting as the patient, guiding teacher while barely holding back his insatiable hunger? Delicious.
* **Maliki** being ferocious, playful, and utilizing *shadow play*? Oh my god.
* **Hades** bringing that commanding, praise-and-punishment dominance while challenging Sera's sharp wit? The banter alone was foreplay.

And the knots... listen, I already knew I was a fan of Alpha smut, but *goddamn*. This book raised the bar.

🏆 Honorable Mentions

* **Pip:** My absolute baby. The sweetest creature alive.
* **Cerberus (The Three-Headed Dog):** Their chaotic banter with Malakai was pure gold.
* **Athena:** A sassy owl queen who appreciates Alphas. Highly relatable.
* **Alina & Her Mates:** Added a beautiful layer of depth to the plot, while simultaneously providing top-tier comedy.

📋 What to Expect From This Trilogy:

* 👥 Reverse Harem (One queen, three godly consorts)
* ⭐ Reincarnation, goddess to "mortal"
* 🐺 Alpha dynamics & knotting (Pack up, we're going to the Omegaverse)
* 🔥 A beautifully paced, slightly slow-burn romance
* 🏛️ A dark, refreshing Hades & Persephone reimagining
* 👁️ High-key longing, banter, and top-tier kinky elements
* ♥️ Fated mates three of em🙏🏻
* 🔥 Enemies to lovers
* 📜 Greek mythology (rather inaccurate)
* 😻 Forced proximity, stuck in the netherworld

TLDR:
This is an epic, complex world with mysteries and ever-shifting dynamics woven in, endless banter, and delicious darkness. And, as someone who predicts every single second of just about everything I read, watch, etc., this is even … twisty.
You absolutely need it.

📍 Full review:

1️⃣ Firstly: have you SEEN the hardback editions of these?! Foil-y covers, COLOR interior, stunning edges, ribbon book marks, custom artwork filled dustjackets, and so much more. So many amazing (human) artists went into this, and the QUALITY. These books are thicccckkkk with heavy-duty paper and jackets.
HIGHLY recommend if you’re a ‘shelf trophy’ or print book collector.

2️⃣ Secondly: if you have not delved into the Faeverse yet, what the actual— are you waiting for?!! It’s so fun and magical and dark in just the right ways and complex … hurry, get on this!

→ Now, onto the content…

Talk about the FUNNEST, most delicious fact-finding mission everrrr!

Written in alternating, first-person POVs.
Present tense.

OBVIOUSLY, after bing-reading books 1 & 2 in one sitting each, book 3 wasn’t an option, it was a MUST. (As with anything Foss writes.) I absolutely loved

📍 the way power dynamics shifted as Sera evolved and grew and figured out who she was,
📍 and how Hades was repeatedly humbled and forced to change and grow and evolve as well … this has to be the best depiction of Hades, all snarky, self-centered, controlling and egotistical, yet, he learns and grows and changes before the reader’s very eyes, that I’ve ever read. (And I read ALL the Hades/Persephone takes I can get, so this is a very tall order/ high praise.)

Also: it was HILARIOUS, at times.

📍 As well as the way it hit so many fun tropes, etc., such as:

₪ Labyrinths.
🥀A / B / O dynamic.
₪ Mythology.
🥀WORLD-BUILDING—so epic, down to the food.
₪ Mysteries everywhere. And a puzzle of sorts.
🥀M4t3 b!tes and bonds.
₪ N3sting.
🥀Crossover with ‘Monsters Night’ world.
₪ Fated mates.
🥀Crossover with ‘H3ll Fae’ world.
₪ Magic.
🥀 Kn0tting.
₪ Reincarnation.
🥀 Betrayal.

Overall: Do not sleep on this series; every single second of it is utterly indulgent, fun and intriguing. A perfect final book to one of the absolute best trilogies I will ever read.
ALL the stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🎙️ Audiobook:
Delicious is all that comes to mind—it is just sooo smooth and perfect and beautiful. 10 out of 5 stars, truly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I do, wholeheartedly, recommend consuming this book (and its books 1&2) in any and all formats you can. Truly.

Knotted Myths absolutely delivered the kind of finale I was hoping for. This series has always had intensity, but this last book takes everything — the emotions, the bonds, the betrayals, the passion — and tightens it until you feel it in every chapter.
Watching Serapina fully step into herself was one of my favorite parts. After everything she’s endured, seeing her reclaim her memories, her power, and her identity felt earned. She’s not just reacting anymore — she’s choosing. And those choices? They come with consequences that ripple through every relationship she has.
The dynamic between her, Hades, Maliki, and Morpheus is anything but simple. Nothing feels easy or neatly wrapped up. The push and pull between dominance, loyalty, instinct, and genuine emotion makes every interaction layered and intense. I loved that the bonds feel complicated and sometimes messy — it made everything more real and far more satisfying.
The world-building continues to be immersive without overwhelming the story. The mythological threads woven through the fae politics and omega dynamics create this dark, addictive atmosphere that kept me completely hooked. There’s tension in every scene — whether it’s emotional, romantic, or political.
What stood out most to me is how much this book focuses on identity and autonomy. Serapina isn’t just caught in fate — she’s actively reshaping it. And that internal growth adds so much depth beyond the romance.
If you’ve followed this trilogy from the beginning, this conclusion feels powerful and intense in all the right ways. It doesn’t lose the darkness, but it also doesn’t lose the heart.
I closed this book feeling satisfied… but also not ready to let this world go.

This is book three and the final book of the Netherworld Fae trilogy, a Hades & Persephone reimagining, with a why choose twist. In book one, we follow Serapina, a human who contains the soul of the goddess Persephone. She is also said to be an Omega, who had all disappeared centuries ago. Hades, the God of Death, says Persephone is his mate and wife, who betrayed him and the world with her role in hiding the Omegas. But Serapina has no connection to the soul or memories of Persephone, leaving her vulnerable and at the mercy of Hades, her assassin protector Maliki, and Morpheus, the God of Dreams. Hades is determined to punish her for Persephone’s crimes, Maliki is falling for the forbidden fruit and Morpheus wants to share. She doesn’t have much in this world, but she does a have a friendly ghost/familiar, Pip! 👻 This book did such an amazing job bringing everything together and wrapping it all up. I will however be sending Lexi my therapy bill for endangering my favorite familiars!! 😭 I also love seeing little snippets of other characters from Lexi’s other series. She really has done a fantastic job creating such a large world, with different realms, that connects a lot of her series. && her writing just keeps getting better and better!

Thank you Lexi C. Foss for the ARC & ALC!

Oh. My. Actual. God. This is an epic end to an absolutely amazing series and as much as I loved devouring it, I'm sad its over.

Watching Sera grow into her own, while also learning about her souls history with not only Hades but Demeter also, was such an adventure, for her and for me. And seeing Hades realize just how wrong he was, actually admit to how wrong he was and then try and try to make amends for it, all the while making it worse, because men 🙄. There were times I really just wanted to slap him upside his stupid head.

I am so thankful that Sera had Maliki and Morpheus, both who knew that she was theirs from nearly the very beginning, who were willing to do anything and everything to make her happy, they made up so much for Hades shortcomings.

Small spoiler, kinda sorta, but Lexi, you know I love you and your writing but you had me whisper screaming Noooooooo!!!!!!! at like 10:30 pm while I was devouring the end of the book. (Trust me, when you get to this scene, you'll know, and you'll understand and probably do the same) My heart absolutely broke, I was sniffling and crying quietly (why you ask? because I was staying in a hotel at a book signing convention and didnt want to wake anyone else up!) You redeemed yourself though, I finally understood why you did what you did and I kinda agree with it but also why?!?!?!?! As always, I'm sad when a series ends but I know Lexi has so many more stories to share with us and I can't wait to see where we go next and with who!

Lexi C. Foss delivers a stunning conclusion to the Netherworld Fae series with "Knotted Myths," a book that not only ties up loose ends but also brilliantly sets the stage for future adventures. This final installment of Persephone's journey is a masterpiece, deserving every one of its five stars. The intricate world that Foss meticulously crafted over the previous books reaches its zenith here, filled with masterful storytelling and plot twists that will leave you breathless.

The characters, especially Sera, continue to evolve in profound ways, cementing Foss's reputation for creating relatable and memorable personalities. The reverse harem dynamic remains a captivating element, adding layers of tension and emotion to every interaction. But what truly elevates "Knotted Myths" is how it expands the Netherworld, hinting at endless possibilities for spin-off series.

Sera achieves her well-deserved happy ending with her mates, providing a satisfying resolution to her arc. However, Foss cleverly leaves certain threads dangling, particularly concerning Pandora's Box, igniting a fervent desire for more. "Knotted Myths" is not just a finale; it's an invitation to delve deeper into this enchanting world. I am eagerly anticipating what Lexi C. Foss has in store next, as the potential for new stories within the Netherworld is boundless. If you're a fan of dark fae fantasy with a compelling reverse harem, this series, and especially this final book, is an absolute must-read.

**Knotted Myths – Lexi C. Foss**

What an absolutely unforgettable finale to this series. *Knotted Myths* delivered everything I hoped for and more—emotion, tension, and a conclusion that felt both satisfying and deeply earned.

From the very first page, I was pulled right back into this world, and I never wanted to leave. The character growth across the series truly shines here, with every choice, sacrifice, and bond coming full circle in the most powerful way. The emotional depth hit hard—I laughed, I stressed, and yes, I definitely teared up.

The chemistry, the stakes, and the pacing were all perfectly balanced, but what stood out the most was the ending. It was beautiful, bittersweet, and exactly what this story deserved. It wrapped everything up while still leaving that lingering feeling that these characters will stay with me for a long time.

If you’ve followed this series, this final book is an absolute must-read. And if you haven’t started yet—what are you waiting for?

A perfect five-star ending to an incredible journey. 💫📚

Some of my favorite quotes from this book:

“I’m at risk of falling for you in a way I never fell for her. That’s my truth. And it both enthralls and terrifies me.”

“You haven’t failed them,” he replies, obviously deciding to ignore the second part of my statement. “Failure suggests a permanent outcome. You’re… a work in progress.”

“She’s going to be my mate after I kill you for dragging me here without consent.”

If chaos, desire, and myth had a love child, it would be Knotted Myths by Lexi C. Foss. This story is an emotional gut-punch wrapped in dark fantasy silk. Sera’s awakening, remembering every betrayal and manipulation, sets a sharp, aching tone that lingers through every page. Foss leans hard into themes of identity, power, and trust, crafting a story where love isn’t soft.

It’s earned through fire, fracture, and fierce resilience.

The mate-circle dynamic is deliciously complicated. Maliki, Morpheus, and Hades aren’t just love interests, they’re walking tension points, each pulling Sera in different emotional directions. The lack of trust between them adds a simmering edge, keeping the stakes sky-high.

And Hades? Oh, he’s the broody wildcard who refuses to play nice, and honestly, we love him for it.

What truly shines is the internal battle: freeing her inner Omega becomes just as gripping as the external conflict. It’s not just about survival, it’s about reclaiming autonomy in a world that tried to strip it away.

Dark, seductive, and emotionally charged, Knotted Myths delivers tangled relationships, high-stakes mythology, and a heroine you can’t help but root for even when her choices threaten to shatter everything.

She remembers....
Please make sure you read the other books in this series first, and don't read this review unless you've read the other books, I don't want to spoil anything. Sera wakes up and remembers Persephone's memories. She lets Hades know, she didn't leave him or betray him, she tried to crawl her way back to him. Hades is still not expressing himself well and Sera still isn't sure if he wants her, or just wants to replace her with Persephone. Morpheus and Maliki can only do so much to help him figure it out. But now they need to figure out how to unlock Sera's omega, it seems she's been blocked. But in order to do that, they might need to figure out what Demeter did to her.
Love the character arc we finally see for Hades in this book, he started to come around a little in book 2, but really shows up for Sera in book 3. Maliki has been all in from the beginning and we continue to see his compelte and utter devotion for her through the book. And then Morpheus also has been all in and working to ensure that there is a mate circle with Sera and her alphas. Great final book in Sera's story.

Sera the Goddess 😍
Love how she really comes into her own in this final book- there are times where it as a bit like ahh is she second to Persephone? Will she stand on her own? But then honestly she delivers 👑 she has to overcome the whole split soul, Demeter and manage her mare circle - it’s not an easy feat but she really digs deep herself, her men, and all omegas 😊😊
There’s some real humbling moves from Hades in this final book which makes you fall for him even more, Maliki takes in alpha personality and becomes even more fierce over our girl; and Morpheus will do anything to provide a future for her and keep her going 🥰 and ohhhhh boy does the spice really kick in with this one and the group scenes 🔥🌶️
I got a little confused at the end as to how who was drawing power from who but still a good ending with a strong amount of tension and action! Great HEA for this family unit 😊

This is the final book in the trilogy and it does not diasppoint in the slightest!

Although Hades has come to the realisation that Sera is not actually Persephone even though she is her reincarnated soul the time it has taken him to get there has cost him. Even if Sera is willing to forgive, her other mates are not entirely trusting and he may be left outside of the mate circle looking in unless he can prove his feelings are now in fact for Sera and not Persephone.
The story in this final book is quite fast paced towards the end with a lot to take in when Sera finally works out how far Demeter has gone and what needs to be done to stop her.
I loved the relationships between the characters in this final book. Hades and Maliki, Morpheus and Maliki, they act as though they dislike each other and I was quite amused by them!
I love the ending. This is one of those books where as a romance you are pretty sure there is going to be a happing ending but things look so deperate you don't know how it is going to get there! Loved this journey, a great ending to a really enjoyable trilogy

Knotted Myths was exactly the kind of finale I was hoping for. It’s intense, emotional, and pulls everything together in a really satisfying way.
What I loved most was watching Serapina finally come into her own. After everything she’s been through, seeing her reclaim her memories, her power, and her identity felt so deserved. She’s not just surviving anymore, she’s making choices, and those choices hit hard across all her relationships.
The dynamic between Hades, Maliki, and Morpheus is messy in the best way. Nothing is easy, and the tension between them all, loyalty, dominance, trust, makes it feel real and layered. I liked that it wasn’t neatly wrapped up, it stayed complicated.
The world-building is still rich and immersive, with that dark mythological vibe running through everything without taking over the story. There’s always this underlying tension that keeps you hooked.
Overall, it’s a powerful, emotional ending that keeps the heart of the series while still delivering the darkness.

This was a perfect bow to tie up this “Persephone” (Seraphina) and Hades retelling trilogy.

I was able to get an early look at this book thanks to the kindness of the author gifting me an advance reader copy- thank you, Lexi! I highly recommend this book if you’re a fan of innovative story telling and omegaverse.

My favorite part of this series, and particularly this book, was the inclusion and Lexi’s reimagining of very familiar characters we’re used to seeing represented across different mythologies. And without spoilers - trust me when I say she has given characters I thought I knew what to expect a totally different perspective than I was expecting while also making the new perspective 100% believable (I’m talking about the mannerisms we see from Ares in Pandora’s box and the foreshadowing for him and Levi 👀)

I also loved to see the inclusion of Alina and her mate circle so heavily across the trilogy but especially in this book- it was like a fun cross over episode!!

Lexi C. Foss – Knotted Myths (Netherworld Fae Book 3)

This conclusion to the Netherworld Fae trilogy was an absolute masterpiece. The Hades & Persephone retelling completely pulled me in—I was fully invested in the characters and the way their journey unfolded.

The story delivered such a satisfying reading experience, tying up loose ends while still keeping the tension and emotions high. I was never bored for a second—it kept me hooked from beginning to end. I really connected with the characters and understood everything they had to endure to reach this conclusion.

Overall, Lexi did an incredible job with the storytelling, and this was easily one of my favorite reads of 2026. I can’t wait to see what she gives us next!

Knotted Myths is the third and final book in this clever retelling of Hades and Persephone, with a why choose omega/alpha twist.

Sera is awake and she has Persephone's memories. She knows that Demeter did something to her and that she needs to figure what she did so she can unlock her omega. That proves to be a problem.

The other problem is that Hades did a lot of harm to his relationship with Sera and she still feels that he's just trying to restore Persephone so he can have his actual mate back. Morpheus and Malikai are there for her and willing to make sure Hades makes things right with her.

And she needs all of them! They need to work together to stop Demeter and save the other omegas.

This was a great conclusion to this series. Action packed with all these emotional twists and turns that made the story so good. Can't wait to see what this author brings next.

SERA!! I loved this book so much. The series sees Sera struggling to find her place in a world she is only just discovering. I absolutely loved Morpheus and Maliki. They're banter was *chefs kiss* and their protection of their mate was second to none. Hades and Seras journey has been long but rest assured they find their way through the many twists and turns Lexi throws their way.

As always with Lexis books the characters have so much depth and the writing style is perfection. If you enjoy Retellings with an RH twist then I would Highly Recommend this series.

I will say although this is a standalone series we meet Sera in Their Lethal Pet and I feel in order to understand the world she comes from and the challanges that shaped her and made her the amazing 'human' she is you need to meet her sister and her mates so if your a competist like me start there, meet them and then you'll be primed and ready for this series because you just won't want to leave this world.

This is the 3rd and final book in the Netherworld Fae series. If you haven't read the first two books I recommend you do so. You will need to in order to understand what is going on.
Hades always said Sera was his mate Persephone. She says throughout the books that she isn't. Then there's the sudden change where she gets Persephone's memories. The dynamics change in this book somewhat. She tells Hades she has them. And Maliki and Morpheus àre finally getting along. And showing Sera love and whatever else she needs. They finally get their act together.Hades on the other hand won't back down. He needs to get with it and do alot of groveling. He's trying to catch Sera in lies and the trust is growing thin. She doesn't know how much more she can take. This was an epic ending to the series. I'm sad to see it end. As they say " All good things must come to an end. Thank you for an amazing book and an even better series.

This author once again can do no wrong. This is the 3rd and final book in the Netherworld Fae series. If you haven't read the first two books I recommend you do so. And showing Sera love and whatever else she needs. They finally get their act together. Hades on the other hand won't back down and he has a lot of making up to do in this book. I definitely wanted to smack him several times. This truly was an epic ending with some sad goodbyes. I loved this whole series and will definitely be doing a re-read soon. All of Lexi’s books are amazing, so it’s no surprise this is a 10/10

As we dive into the conclusion of the book, Hades is realizing that Serapina (aka Sera) may have the memories and the soul of Persephone reincarnated but Sera was is herself, strong, fiery and what he never realized he needed. While there are many twists and turns, to keep you enchanted with reading the story. I do so love the authors mind when Maliki has “The God of Death” Hades setting the table for the mate-circle dinner. The question what has Demeter done to the omega souls? How did she escape the prison? Or was she ever in the prison or was it just some type of manifestation ? What is going on with Sera as a human she should not be able to do certain things with her mates yet she does? Has Demeter done something to her? What of the lost omega souls? What is truly fun is listening to Hades, Morpheus, and Maliki interaction and dialog as they learn to share their mate, and Hades to communicate with everyone.

This final book had me hooked right away. I loved it! Everything feels bigger and more intense, like there’s no more time to mess around and everything is finally coming to a head.

Sera really comes into her own in this one and I loved that. She’s still stubborn and emotional, still very human, but she finally feels sure of herself and what she wants. It was so satisfying to see her stop being pulled in every direction and actually choose.

Hades finally gets it, which I’ve been waiting for, and it made those moments hit way harder. Morpheus is still unpredictable and a little chaotic, but in a way that keeps things interesting. And Maliki… still my favorite. No question. He’s steady, loyal, and every scene with him just does something to me. SWOON!

You get action, answers, drama, spice… all of it. It actually feels like everything from the first two books finally pays off here.

Such a good ending. I’m not ready to be done with them.

Hades finally gets it together and starts communicating (about time), while Morpheus and Maliki continue working to solidify their mate circle. Sera’s journey remains central as she uncovers more about herself, Persephone, and how everything is connected. It does feel like it takes her a while to fully step into her own agency and stand up for herself, but when she gets there, it’s satisfying and well-earned.
While the story hits some expected beats, there were still a few larger twists that genuinely surprised me—in a good way. The balance between romance and plot is strong, especially with the ongoing mystery of the missing omegas and how that thread resolves.
There’s plenty of spice throughout. While there’s no MM content, there is definitely sharing and playful dynamics that work really well within the relationships.
Overall, this was a fantastic and fitting conclusion to the trilogy.

Knotted Myths is the final book to the Netherworld Fae trilogy. SPOLIERS AHEAD

I loved where the storyline was headed and the relationship progress between Hades and Sera is beautiful, and of course having three magic men love up on you is the cherry on top :) As amazing as this book is, I bawled my eyes for this one. I've grown very attached to Pip, and because Demeter was somehow able to access Hades' Maze, I was thinking Pip was actually Demeter or an inside man---and then I thought Pip died. This was very rude. However he lived and he served a great purpose for the ending.

With the subject of Demeter, I felt it was a bit anti-climatic; NOT saying it didn't have attention grabbing moments, but I was thinking how Demeter died would have been more than what it was. All in all, 10/10.
