I was really looking forward to this, especially after the first part, but unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations.
Intrigue and suspense were fully present!
However, I was concerned about a few issues.
The transition from the “unremarkable Don’s daughter” to the “badass Donna” wasn’t executed properly.
Arianna may have had teachers who taught her many skills, but it was unrealistic to become Wonder Woman overnight.
The author just overloaded the heroine with a bunch of superpower traits that ended up being far too many.
Moreover, I expected more of Vittorio. He didn’t seem to be an alpha male and lacked of significance, authority and arrogance.
He was just not her equal.
Sadly, my interest was lost…

Read Prelude before you read this. I am absolutely loving Arianna. She is fearless and intends to fight for everything she wants. The storyline is so good and it flows so well. I loved every letter of this story.

Geezus, fuck me dead now! Harley nows how to ruin us with these insane, heart thumping cliffhangers! My Legacy to Take is her entrance into the mafia romance genre and she totally fucking nailed it. Forget about a male lead kicking arse in a mafia romance, this book has Arianna. She is one smart, calculated, fearless, badass, knife wielding bitch, and I absolutely fucking love her. And behind every great woman, is a great man, and that man is Vittorio.
After reading the prelude, I just knew this story was going to be a banger. Having the fmc as a true lead in a story, with the men really being secondary in the story, makes for a refreshing read and gets me all giddy like a kid in a candy store. The story is well paced with and awesome, engaging plot. There is hella spicy goodness that builds up throughout the book. It's quite obvious that it was a one sit read for me.

This Book 1 in Harley's Legacy Series and continues straight after where Prelude left off.
After seizing her father's empire after his... unfortunate demise... Arianna now has to face old-fashionied, misogynistic values from The Syndicate while battling to carve a reputation of her as a ruthless, cunning, no-nonsense Donna.
We really see Arianna come into her own in Book 1 and we also see just how far she will take the darkness in an attempt to tear apart tradition to form her own.
With the introduction of a couple of love interests, things are also spicing up and the question on everyone's lips, will she/won't she???
Arianna is truely a Queen in her own right, strong and brave but truely terrifying!
Harley has written a deliciously dark start to the series, with an enthralling story which has made me fully invested in Arianna and what the future holds for our ultimate bad a$$... even if we do end on a little cliffhanger...!
If you love the genre then this is for you ❤️.

This was the first series I have read from this author and omg I am totally a fan of hers. This book does end in a cliff hanger and you also definitely want to read Prelude the book before this one. I love the spin on the Mafia story. The FMC is a strong girl who doesn't take crap from anyone. It's nice to read a book with a strong FMC. I love how she is growing into herself throughout the book. With her inner thoughts you can see the struggles she really goes through. The spice was amazing and definitely hot. ❤️ You need to read the triggers as this book is not for everyone. I can not wait to read the next book and see what happens. And I will definitely being reading more of Harley Raige books as she is an amazing author. If you like strong FMC, violence, spice, mafia story this is a must read

I did assume either betrayal or death for Matteo, will Ari get to give him her trademark makeover, she’s a strong woman who takes what she wants and lets no one stand in her way
Something big is coming I can feel it 🔥
They are the definition of a power couple, will they withstand what’s to come though…..I really hope so.
Will they burn the world whilst they rise to the top or will the syndicate be proven right…..the writing is brilliant the only downfall is I have to wait for the next book! I both love and hate a cliffhanger 🙈

After reading Prelude I couldn't wait to read My Legacy To Take. What a wild ride we have, I really enjoyed reading this book! I love Arianna and her flare for the dramatic - when it comes to her signature move. I love how feisty she is and it's so refreshing to have a bad ass female character who doesn't fall over themselves once the hot guy is on the scene. I love how she continues to be her strong self even if she's got Matteo and Vittorio.
I loved the developments of the storyline, the writing itself is great - pulling you in and holding you there in a chokehold. I love how we have spice as well as action scenes, I think the balance is on point, the twist at the end of the novel I did not see coming! I can't wait to read the next book. That cliffhanger - I need answers.

Arianna is a powerhouse. She had taken over from her father and is now aiming to take her place in a world built around men, their wants and needs.
She keeps her friends close, now she needs to find out if Vittorio is her enemy or her future.
I do not want to give anything away.
These characters are written beautifully. Full of passion, pain and torture. The world is detailed and complete.
Expect to go through the wringer. The pain is real and the release powerful.

What we have come to realize is that Harley Raige writes amazing female leads and shocking but great cliff hangers.
We are now in the world of mafia, and Arianna finally gets to free herself of the way her family treat her and doing things to survive, we sort of. Shes starting to build her empire and she joins forces, so to speak with the gorgeous brother of the guy her father had promised her to - and if you think that doesn't make that mafia family more determined to come after and destroy her then you need to think again - and more importantly, read this series! This is a story of the rise of a female mafia lead in the best dark romance kinda way!!
This has been a great read and I'm looking forward to jumping right into book 2

Just as Arianna needs to take control of the syndicate, just as Matteo needs to be seen by the woman he loves, just as Vittorio needs Arianna to accept every part of him… I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS ENDS. The prelude was a good but this blew me out of the water! The violence, the spice, the plot thickening. It’s so good. Harley Raige has always been an impressive author and I am amazed how this series can be this good for being her first Mafia romance series. No doubt in my mind that if you’re this far, asking yourself if you should read it, you already know the dirty little answer.

WOW what a start to this series, I absolutely loved Arianna and Vittorio’s story ❤️❤️❤️ she is one determined, tough woman. She has taken on the Syndicate and plans on winning. So far she is owning her world and they should be worried. Matteo is a problem I hope Vittorio brings him to an end. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

Oh My freaking gods that was such a ride! I loved every minute of this story. It's definitely once you pick it up you can't put it down. You just have to devour it.
I love Arianna, she's a bad ass bitch and such a fantastic character.
Of all the male characters I'm a sloppy mess for Vittorio.

Gotta love a women who’s had just enough to bring the violence!!
And, boy does she.
Arianna is done playing nice, and quiet. She’s ready to show the “boys club” that she’s better than them.
Vittorio is a little too nice honestly for the boys club. I can’t wait to watch him get mad.
Bellino is the brother of Vittorio and honestly I need more of him. His crazy matched her crazy.
The betrayer makes sense and he’s such a little boy.
Can’t wait for the next book!

Absolutely amazing read. What a ride this was and I cant wait to jump into book 2. Arianna is a force to be reckoned with but love seeing her softer side. Vittorio is the underdog when it comes to his family but OMG does he show up. The connection between the MCs is electric and absolutely delicious to read. Bellino is unhinged is the best way, can’t wait to see how book 2 plays out. This story had me on the edge of my seat with the twists. And that cliffhanger ahhh. Highly recommend reading

Arianna is dark, deadly and as sharp as a blade. And Vittorio is the softness to her hard edges - or is that just one side to him?
With a 50 shades of black brother like Bellino, the depths of hell are the limit.
Can’t wait to see it all come to heads in the conclusion.

Again, I have became OBSESSED with this series. The drama, the gore, the spice. 1000% addicting. Love Ari and Rio together! The way Rio becomes obsessed with her is everything 🥵 love everything about them. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 on the spice for me!
Matteo really pissed me off in this one but i love that Harley is keeping me on my toes lol obviously still not a fan of Rio's dad and I'm still on the fence about Bellino. We shall see how he is in the next book 🙃

Wow what a book. Read prelude first. Check trigger warnings. This book is explosive - once it starts it doesn’t stop! Arianna is fearless, powerful and decisive when taking her role as the mafia queen. This is one of the best mafia books I have read. Non - stop action with a spicy romance blossoming. Arianna and her husband are chef’s kiss. I can’t wait for part 2 because this ends on such a cliff hanger !!!

Wow!! The Queen of cliffhangers does it again. This continues on from prelude and sees arianna working to solidify her place and destroying anyone who gets in her way. I loved how spicy this was and I love Arianna as a character she’s such a fiery female boss and I loved vittario he’s perfect in every way. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book after the way this one ended!!

Anyways thanks for that rollercoaster Harley I am panting for book three now book two had all the questions all the spice and her becoming more unhinged just to be tamed in the nicest way possible ALL TO BE BETRAYED I’m mad but excited 😂😅

I always eat up anything by Harley But OMG I absoluteuly live Arianna. such a badass and she is so on the ball and pays attention to 100% to every little detail. and in truly Harley form another cliffhanger. between the nonstop action going from one place to another making my head spin to the 🔥🔥 I am so excited for book 2.
