The Long Hunt : A Classic Western Adventure

Rate this book
A classic western novel from Frank Wheeler with non-stop epic adventure and a blend of western romance

Four years ago, Sheriff Woody Helms walked away from everything…
his badge,
his home,
and the people who once counted on him.

One mistake had cost him more than he could bear, and he swore never to wear the badge again.

Leila McRae lost her family to the same ruthless outlaw Woody failed to stop. She’s spent years chasing him, only to come up short.
Now Tye Bullock, the man behind it all, is tightening his grip on the Arizona Territory. And Leila knows Woody is the only man with the skill, and the nerve, to bring him down.

Unable to turn her away, Woody rides right into the storm.
But Leila’s temper matches his own, and every plan they make seems to end in an argument, or a gunfight.
Bullock’s men are scattered across the territory, vicious enough to burn out whole families, bold enough to take hostages in broad daylight.

The deeper they go, the more the past rises between them.
In the end, justice may come, but at a cost Woody never saw coming.
Will he reclaim what was lost, or see it torn from him all over again?

Each novel in the series is a standalone western which can be read out of order.

Fast & Furious

I found this book to be exactly that; fast with the action and furious with the emotions. While you read this book try to relate these events to your own life experiences.

Great job Frank

Keeps you going enough to keep turning the pages. Typical Wheeler wonder. You are going to love it aren't you?
