Heir to The Broken Iron MC, Drifter fills the role previously held by his father with great pride. He has it all. Bike. Club. His ol’ lady. He’s set on the path for greatness until Rochelle struggles to conceive and sex becomes a chore. Caught in a war between the club, Rochelle, and his wandering eye, will it be too much for Drifter to contend with?
Will he realise too late what he's lost?
ROCHELLE
Born and raised in the club, Rochelle knows the sacrifices she must make as Drifter’s ol’ lady. But how big should those sacrifices be?
Rochelle's journey to motherhood is tainted by lies and deceit. She finds herself entangled in a dangerous situation when she becomes a pawn in a rival MC’s game.
Will Drifter save her before it's too late? Can he find his redemption, or will it be too late for reconciliation?
First the little previews made it sound like she left and dated other guys.
She never left him, she stayed the whole time. And a little picnic and a kiss. She is just like her mother, stayed while her father cheats. She will teach her daughter the same thing.
He cheated but lots led up to that. He let the club touch him, all the time. He spoke to her about his wife and lets not forget she she him a lap dance. He really enjoyed, so much he had to leave to go find the release with his wife.
And really the I was drunk or it never would of happen, you were sober when you let her give you the lap dance, if wife wouldn't of called, he would of cheated then.
I honestly didn't like either of them. She was weak and tried to hard to act like she was so strong.
Two things that really just was to dumb to believe, if bullets fly, you protect your wife, no one else. And lets blame the club girl, wife tossed her out not him.
Nit one brother him from going to the club girl and yet, you want me to believe the respect old ladies and the are her friends, her family.
This was just another man cheats, she stays and oh we are never getting back together and then she's is back with him.
He was big bad pres but got played by a club girl. But he is smart but couldn't see the game she was playing with him.
Love how she tossed the club girl out, pulled her hair, busted her nose but only slapped your husband. Beat up the girl but not your husband who made promises and vows.
She didn't even file for divorce, she just stayed in his room.
Oh and she wanted this baby so bad but she doesn't eat, didn't take care of herself. Just oh poor me, she fights and puts the baby in danger, in the end, I didn't care what happen to any of them.
I think what made this book hard to read was the fact that I never ever saw them really happy. I hadn’t read the other books yet, but I’d seen it mentioned it can be read as a standalone.
I’ve read other reviews about not liking the fmc. Hell being reckless and having a hard time emotionally is no excuse for him cheating. He expected her to handle her emotions, but then didn’t handle his own. He berated her for behaving like a teenager, but yet he could do exactly what he wanted….if he needed a drink he drank, if he needed to blow off steam he went and blew off steam. Where was Hells outlet? The reviews saying that they didn’t like her….I get that but he had his coping mechanisms, but what did Hell have at that point? Her life revolved around what he was offering her, not the other way round. He knew she was having hormone injections, but yet did nothing to understand her feelings. She felt vulnerable about everything and having Siren in the background constantly would make anyone go a bit bonkers. It’s not like he was just working around the OW in an office environment. They all lived together and he would see her naked….I know that’s the lifestyle, but the effect on the fmc would’ve still been the same. Especially as the mmc was constantly running off everywhere. Then when the fmc does the same and is erratic in her behaviour, he berates her for it! Alongside all the hormones and her inner turmoil, he did nothing to make her feel better other than a few words here and there.
He ignored her for weeks after an argument knowing she was on hormone injections, he knew her feelings but yet was able to just ignore her? I get it’s a two way street, but this was a time where he needed to step up to the plate, not back down. Hormone injections can cause ten times the emotional reaction than that of a normal period. With the lifestyle I can completely see why it made her feel like she did. I feel that the story could’ve explained the extreme effects of the hormone injections a bit better, rather than just making her look like a brat. It’s always funny even now that women expect other women to adapt, but yet he could just do exactly what he wanted!! Also we knew he’d stepped over the line Siren already with a few interactions. Hell felt the increasing distance between them, and pushed back at that and what did he do? Walked into another woman’s arms.
The cheating part and responses felt a bit wishy washy to me..I didn’t feel that Drifter felt disgusted with himself. I can’t put my finger on what was missing for me, it was like he was going through the motions apologising, I just didn’t really FEEL his remorse. He kept saying he knows he messed up….that’s putting it mildly. Those words kept downplaying the action of what he did.
The following are a few random thoughts:
Hell getting a tattoo added nothing to the story.
The timeline of how early the baby was born wasn’t confirmed at any point. It was written that the baby was early. We need to know how early. The baby would’ve been in hospital and the stress of that would’ve been immense. I get the author might not have known the medical terminology, but it’s really easy to google or at least touch on the time frame and how scary it was for them having a premmie baby. It was just glossed over.
Drifters mum was there in the background but we never got a meaningful interaction between her and Hell after Drifter cheated….it was really bizarre.
I almost felt like he got rid of the club whores and the strip club just so he wouldn’t be tempted. He wasn’t tempted before then…so what changed. I would’ve preferrred him to say that he didn’t want anything to do with it, not what he said which was, “I have to make changes, otherwise, I’m going to end up just like my dad.” Thats not the declaration he thinks it is.
Andy the friend was mentioned once, but never again?
It was never explained if Drifter took an std test?
Epilogue stated and I quote, “he didnt truly understand what he was doing till I walked in”. That was a load of BS, He has a full conversation with Siren before it happened, she goaded him, he has coherent thoughts in that moment as we read it on the page.
There was a lot missing with world building and expanding on details and interactions that were written that could’ve made it a more in-depth story. I know the world building was done in previous books, but there are still a lot of missing interactions and unfinished open threads of information.
Don’t bother and save your money because this was not worth it!
There is nothing realistic about this story sorry but I want a good written MC romance not this childish totally unnecessary and not sense making drama.
The only realistic trope here is the cheating the rest of the story is not good at all!
I wanna start this review by saying it’s a review of the book and the story not the author. This author is honestly one of my favorites and I always instantly download her books. I took some time to download this load this one because I knew it was a cheating in redemption book and I wasn’t sure how I was gonna feel about that. Here’s the problem though. I have forgiven some cheaters in the past including an MC romance books, but there’s always been a reason that they cheated. For instance, they had addiction issues or they were infiltrating a club and had a secret identity and did something stupid, etc. Doesn’t forgive them, but it at least has a reason. This was nothing beyond him getting mad at his wife.
now that being said she was terrible. Absolutely awful. I really don’t understand the whole fertility thing. My sister couldn’t get pregnant and when she couldn’t, she didn’t become psycho. She didn’t go through all these treatments her and her husband just adopted. Putting your body through this when it doesn’t want it to happen. Makes no sense to me, but even if you ignore that and accept the fact that she’s nuts and she’s hormonal and she’s crazy. None of it excuses what he did. This was just a hard note for me. He didn’t do near enough to be forgiven and if we’re being completely honest, they needed to have like a 10 year separation or something. It was just an unbelievable ending. I don’t believe in they’re happy ever after I don’t forgive him and now I’m worried that having these two in future series will taint the rest of the books for me. It was just really disappointing because this author is absolutely phenomenal and what she’s overcome to write is incredible, but drifter is an absolute no.
What a mess of a story. It’s not only a second chance romance but it’s mainly about miscommunication and stupid and childish behavior. I was bored at 20% of the story as their argument kept repeating itself and I thought I was reading a late teen early twenties story. The main characters are messy, childish and annoying most of the time. Rochelle is an entitled, childish and stubborn woman. Drifter is an idiot who doesn’t know how to communicate with her and let his miscommunication get in the way of their relationship.
I understand Rochelle's insecurities in the beginning. She has to inject herself with hormones and isn't thinking rationally. It was slightly annoying she was mad that he eas putting club business first, but she was raised in the club so she should know how it is. I was more annoyed that she was acting like a child to prove a point. Sneaking out when you know a rival was out to get you was just stupid. Once the cheating was discovered, the book went downhill. She made a big show of ruining his bike, but then didn't keep that energy throughout. Not to mention, she leaves AGAIN and gets caught. My biggest pet peeve is a FMC who thinks she can do it all on her own when she knows she's outnumbered. She didn't forgive him quickly, but he didn't do much to get back in her good graces.
Now onto Drifter. My first red mark against him was he doesn't help his wife with hormones injections, something she's doing for both of them. He has to know she doesn't like the shots. Maybe that makes me crazy, but I would be so mad at my husband for not helping. My second red mark is that he was dumb enough not to see Siren's play. Obviously, the third is the cheating. I don't think he groveled enough. I wanted to see him work for it, but he just gave her space.
The book as a whole was alright. The stars knocked down were for chracter and chracter development. Rochelle not liking the club girls and being mean to the main one made me mad. The main one was respectful, and she still treated her badly. She wanted the respect of an Ol' lady, but didn't act like one. I liked it enough to finish it, but I wouldn't re-read it.
Ok, full disclosure… I read this by accident! After reading the first two books on the series, I’d vowed not to continue as I wasn’t a fan of the writing style amongst other gripes… BUT I’m glad I fell upon this third instalment (without putting the pieces together).
Drifter and Rochelle’s story felt much more believable, the writing/editing has vastly improved, and overall the book felt much more balanced in terms of how the story was told.
I would rate this as 3.5 🌟 based solely on what I felt was a rushed ending (from approx 75%). I felt like there were some missing chapters where we were able to see what work the characters did to overcome their own difficulties (the infidelity, the control of the club, the jealousy and stubbornness).
That said, I loved Rochelle’s anger, her adamant refusal to deviate from what she felt was right.
Worth a read and hugely improved from previous instalments.
The other club took Rochelle and Drifter gets her back. Then he beats up the VP from that club for awhile and that's it? I know he shot the President but were they still dealing in their turf? Why was their no retaliation for what Drifter did to their President. It was just dropped.
I expected to see retaliation, expected to see Siren cause more trouble but nothing happened for me that was a let down.
Glad Rochelle and Drifter got their HEA, I did think Rochelle was immature at the beginning of the book for her age though.
Did Drifter redeem himself? Or did Rochelle not have any other options besides staying in the club and he waited her out? She was not reconciling with him when she went into the hospital. Perhaps after giving birth she realized how difficult and impossible it would be to be a single parent without a support system or income.
I appreciate the author's effort writing this story, but I don't think Drifter redeemed himself.
I skimmed a lot so I won't rate but I will say I did not like this herione...she came across as super immature and just dumb and this was before the cheating even happened.
I don’t think I can explain how excited I was to get an early copy of this book before release. Cheating tropes and marriage-in-crisis stories are honestly my favourite, and I devour those kinds of books. I can’t even remember how I first came across this author — I’m guessing it was on Facebook — but once I started the series I was hooked.
I’ll be honest though: MC books are usually not my thing at all. But these ones are short, straightforward, and very to the point, which actually made them really easy to get into. I enjoyed the first two books in the series, so I was really excited to jump into this third one.
This book follows Drifter, the club president, and Rochelle, his old lady. They’ve been together for years — basically since she was still in school. From the start it’s clear how devoted he is to both Rochelle and the club, but their relationship is under a lot of pressure.
Right away we find out they’ve been struggling to get pregnant. They’ve seen specialists and Rochelle is now on injections, which is taking a toll on both of them. The hormones are making her emotional, on edge, and very jealous. Meanwhile Drifter is feeling the pressure of everything — trying to support her, trying to run the club, and dealing with his own stress.
The other woman in the story is a club girl called Siren. She’s connected to the main conflict because her brother is involved with an enemy gang. She’s also constantly flirting with Drifter, which obviously pushes Rochelle’s buttons. Drifter keeps reassuring Rochelle that she’s his old lady and that he would never sleep with one of the club girls… but the tension with Siren keeps building throughout the book.
And that tension just keeps escalating until the cheating finally happens.
To clarify, this isn’t an ongoing affair. He sleeps with Siren once. There is another moment earlier where she kisses him, but he never gets the chance to tell Rochelle about it because she had gone out without his knowledge and they were already in the middle of an argument.
There are also a few scenes where it feels like he’s putting Siren above Rochelle, which definitely didn’t sit right. A big factor is that he’s dealing with his stress by drinking. Alcohol becomes his coping mechanism, and he doesn’t really realise how much of a problem it is until it’s too late — until Rochelle literally walks in on him with Siren over the pool table.
After the cheating is exposed, the rest of the book focuses on Rochelle’s reaction and Drifter grovelling.
And when I say grovelling… I mean grovelling.
This man is on his knees. There are tears. There’s begging. You really feel how sorry he is and how much he regrets it. You can also feel how much love there still is between them.
One thing I absolutely loved was Rochelle’s reaction. I love a feisty FMC, and she does not take this lying down. When she catches them, she drags Siren out, and honestly that whole scene was one of my favourites.
Now the reason I’m giving this book almost four stars instead of a full five is because I just felt like something was missing.
We’re told about this deep, long-standing love between them, but we don’t actually get to see much of it. Because the story starts right in the middle of their struggles, you don’t really get that feeling of this huge, undeniable love before everything starts falling apart.
From the very beginning you can see the cracks. He’s stressed, and instead of going to Rochelle he confides in Siren. Even though he knows it’s wrong, he keeps allowing boundaries to be crossed. He doesn’t flirt back with her, but he also doesn’t shut things down the way he should.
I also think some of Rochelle’s jealousy made sense. Yes, she could be irrational at times, but if Drifter had been more open about what was going on in the club, a lot of that tension probably could have been avoided.
Another thing I wish had been explored more was his issue with alcohol. It felt like it was mentioned, but then kind of glossed over. I think going deeper into that would have added a lot more depth to the story.
I also would have liked more of Drifter’s point of view during the actual cheating scene. We only get his POV up until the moment where Siren is grinding on him, and then it cuts. After that we only get his POV again once Rochelle catches them.
And honestly, I had questions. Like… what was actually going through his mind in that moment? Yes, he was drunk, but we don’t really know what he was thinking. Did he finish? Was protection used? It’s not mentioned. Did he get tested afterwards? There are just details that felt missing.
Despite all that, I still really loved this book.
The writing is great, it’s super easy to read, and I absolutely flew through it. I started it and finished it in about two hours. I wasn’t bored for a single second.
I’m really grateful I got the chance to read an early copy, and I’m already counting down to the next book in the series. I’m also really curious about who the next story will focus on.
And honestly… I will probably go back and reread from book one again. If I do that, my rating might even change, and I’ll definitely come back and update my review.
But overall, I loved it and I’ll definitely keep reading this author’s work.

When I came across a post in a fb saying how amazing this book was and how the mfc really makes the mmc grovel after she catches him f*ing a clubwh*re- right after she finds out she’s pregnant and was on her way to tell him, anyway, I wanted to check it out. I normally don’t do cheating. I used to like them, but for the last couple years I try to stay away from that trope. But I do love a strong woman who isn’t a doormat. Did I think Hell was that? Sort of. Drifter is another story. Do I think he regretted his bad choice? Again, sort of. I honestly think it wasn’t a question of would drifters cheat, it was when. For months Siren was trying to get on his dick. Hell, his wife who he loved so much and has known since they were kids and it was always her, told him how it worried her how Siren was always doing whatever she could to get Drifters attention. So in my opinion, he should’ve removed immediately. Instead he goes to the strip he owns, allows Siren to get him lap, and proceed to give him a lap dance and he gets hard, does he push her off immediately? Nope. She stays put until she decides to get off his lap onto a brothers lap and give a lap dance while staring at Drifter and he’s thinking about how incredibly hard his dick is. When his cell rings and he sees it’s Hell he’s thankful, because now he go home to his to get rid of his hardon. That right there, his response and thoughts told me he was very tempted and close to f*ing Siren that night. And not to mention just a couple chapters earlier she tried kissing him and he froze and allowed her tongue in his mouth for a moment before he stopped it. So when just a couple nights later he’s drunk as a skunk and Siren is up to her games, instead of ignoring her he goes off to find her to “tell her she needs to stop her shit” and instead he fucks her and his wife walks in and sees it. And when Hell grabs the bitchs hair and tosses her in the middle of the clubhouse floor and punches her nose, what does Drifter do? Tells her to stop she’s making a scene! WTF! But is the bitch gone for good? Nope. Several months when she comes to the clubhouse for a bbq, Hell tells Drifter he needs to choose her or Siren. His response is automatic because he’s been saying since he cheated how regretful he was and he didn’t mean it. He loved Hell more than anything and would do anything to prove it. So he told Siren to leave and don’t come back. While I do think he showed remorse and was truly sorry for hurting Hell, I just believe he was always going to end up f*king Siren. He allowed her to continue hanging around the clubhouse and even after she kissed him, he didn’t kick her out. If he wholeheartedly loved his wife and was thinking of her, he would have removed the woman who made his wife concerned and cause her to worry about your marriage. Not keep her around. And him giving up the stripclub and removing all the clumsy*res was good, his thinking behind it and part of his reasoning wasn’t. He said he needed to do it so he didn’t end up like his dad who cheated all the time. So basically that leaves me thinking in order not to cheat he needed to remove the temptation? He should be able to be around other women and not even be tempted in the slightest. The fact he had to take those kinds of extremes makes me question his ability to be faithful. And there were moments I didn’t think he got it. He got mad when she wouldn’t forgive him and it’d been a couple months and he said it was only one time how many does he have to apologize? Well I don’t know dude, but the fact your wife was over the moon excited about finally becoming pregnant and so much time trying and wanted to run to you and tell you, but instead finds your dick in another woman- one who by the way had been trying to get with you for awhile and who made your wife uncomfortable and expressed her concern about everything, well I think she’s entitled to stay mad and hurt for as long as she needs. Her memory of the day she found out she was pregnant will always be tainted by what she walked in. All in all was this a good one? Sort of. Is it. Do I think he groveled enough or was truly sorry? I’m not sure about the groveling, but I do think he was truly sorry and did love Hell. One thing I wasn’t crazy about was having the cheating happen halfway through the book. I’d rather get that over with either off page prior to the book starting and the characters are now dealing with it or right at the beginning and the rest of the book is them trying to heal and save their relationship. Not seeing the couple married, in love, trying for a baby.

Summary:
FMC and MMC have been together forever. They are dealing with infertility issues. MMC begins to check out and is giving his attention to a club girl. FMC finds MMC having sex in the open with the OW (club girl) on the day she finds out she is pregnant. MMC does everything to grovel, change and be a better man. Eventual HEA.
Review: This book was a bit slow for me. Once I got to the cheating scene it picked up in pacing in my opinion. I get the buildup to this scene, but I did find myself skipping pages. Once the cheating occurred, I was all in.
FMC is no pushover. She is just trying to heal and move forward. She has a great support system. The mc holds the MMC (President) accountable and he works to get the FMC back. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it.

Where do I even begin? Drifters Redemption is an MC romance about heartbreak, betrayal, and the journey that 2 people make in finding the path to redemption.
Our main characters are Drifter and Rochelle (known as the absolutely appropriate nickname of Hell). Drifter and Hell after having grown up together and loved each other just as long appear to have the love story that everyone craves. Devoted to one another so completely that you just know that they are supposed to go the distance and to be that often elusive endgame. But after a lengthy struggle with fertility cracks begin to appear within the very foundation of their marriage. Cracks formed not by one or the other, but by both of their actions as they take hit after hit.
Drifter is overwhelmed with his duty to the club, prioritising over everything including his marriage. Hell feels her sense of self fading with every month that goes by, and with every negative test. Her need to have a baby becomes her obsession. Their intimacy becoming more schedule than spontaneity. More obligation than love. As the distance between them begins to widen, Drifter is targeted by a “Siren” using manipulation and Drifters obvious need to protect the club to get what she wants. And what she wants is him. Knowingly targeting Drifter and taking away Hells husband. Her family and her sense of safety all in one foul act.
After the overwhelming betrayal, Drifter is feeling desperate in his need to keep his wife. But its all to easy to feel regret for our actions after the mistake has already been made. People rarely think about what happens after the pleasure has faded, when the betrayal is laid bare and the stones have been cast. There is no magic wand or time machine to magically erase our wrongs, and sometimes that one act. That one moment in time changes things irrevocably. Drifter may be desperate for reconciliation, but Hell is stubborn and absolute in her decision to end their marriage. Drifter may have learned from his mistake and is determined to fight for his wife. Fight for his child and fight for their life together. But is determination enough when you’re faced with heartbreak of this magnitude? What happens when forgiveness isn’t a foregone conclusion? What happens when the man who had everything stands to lose it all?
There was some really good writing here, and I think that just emphasizes the author's note at the beginning of the book talking about her dyslexia and how she never thought she'd be able to write -- she's light years better than many authors who do not deal with that challenge. I enjoyed the characters (I am ALL about a FMC whose reaction to cheating involves essentially destroying as much of his world as she can) and thought the author did a good job showing how events lead up to Drifter's actions. I also loved that Hell had positive female friendships with other two ol' ladies.
BUT.
My biggest nit is that it took 60% to get to the gut punch. When I know something that big is coming, I tend to get impatient with a book that takes that long. I also felt like the grovel was a bit of a letdown. It started off strong, with Hell sticking to her guns, but there wasn't anywhere to really go from there. She had no life outside of the MC and with another club causing danger, she couldn't leave without putting a target on her head. She couldn't even get a job outside of the club. As a result, it felt like by the time she had her baby she was just worn down and missing Drifter and didn't have any other options.
And the thing is, I get it. The grovel in a lot of these books is a letdown for me because at the end of the day, I'm not sure I believe any cheater isn't going to do it again if circumstances repeat -- although I'll say that Drifter did do his best to make sure that didn't happen, even going so far as to quit drinking and give up ownership of the MC's strip clubs. And when it isn't a letdown, it's because the author has kept the characters apart for multiple chapters while they work on themselves -- but that's boring for me as a reader because I want ALLLLL the drama. I love a female lead whose response to being cheated on is to cause massive destruction and chaos, and Hell was certainly that. I think maybe I just wanted more of that chaotic feminine rage that causes people to look at you warily and wonder what your next move will be. But with a problematic pregnancy I get why that wouldn't have been an option.

I’ve been looking forward to reading “Drifter’s Redemption” by F.F. Wingfield since I started seeing the glimpses on TikTok/FB. Let's be honest, I lowkey kinda stalked F.F. Wingfield for a chance. :D (sorry, not sorry)
I’m a sucker for some second chance romance, and boy do we get that in this!
**SPOILER AHEAD*** . . . . . . Yes, there is cheating. And yes it will make you want to make Drifter bleed.
HOWEVER, that man FEEEEEEELS Rochelle (Hell)’s pain. Drifter & Hell have been high school sweethearts that have been married for years, and what does the majority of married couples want next in their journey? A baby.
Not all couples want to have a child, nor do all couples have to go through the pain of fertility assistance. I can understand both sides' struggles with it, but I admit, I really wanted to smack Drifter for some of his thoughts/actions.
Women’s emotions alone are already erratic but add in fertility drugs? …boy…that adds a WHOLE other battlefield. I really felt that this was an added depth that most authors don’t write about so major kudos
I gave it a 4 out of 5 because I don’t think he groveled enough. To be entirely honest, I don’t think I’d ever really had a 200/10 grovel book so I might be a *tinsi* biased on it.
Spice was a 3 between both of them, but still really really good. I LOVED Clay being the protective guy he is and calling Drifter out after…It happened.
I felt ALL the feels with this book, especially with Hell. Drifter’s nickname of Hell is spot on, she is strong and she gives back 200% of what she feels.
All in all, you will have the funnies, the hurt, the betrayal and the ultimate HEA at the end.
Can’t wait for the next one!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Huge thank you!
I think this book was good for a new writer. While I only gave it a 3 star I think I would reread it to see if maybe I missed something. As I just didn't get enough feeling of remorse from Drifter the MMC.
Spoilers::
MMC (Drifter)- President of MC FMC (Hell - his nickname)- Also brought up in the MC and they have been together since kids. Struggling to get pregnant she is taking shots to help her, which makes her hormones wacky and she is very jealous. She is also a little much for me. She creates a lot of drama herself by sneaking out when he asks her not to go anywhere.
Specific Club Bunny gunning for the MMC. FMC warns him to stay away from her. the OW kisses him and he don't tell her and at the strip club I think the ow gives him a lap dance with the other's in the mc.
The MMC ends up drinking a lot and goes to find the ow to tell her to stop coming on to him which makes no sense because at the time she wasn't doing anything. She is in her room about to have sex with some other guys he tells them to leave and then he starts having sex with her. The FMC goes to tell him some good news and finds him having sex with her. The FMC drags the ow out of the club house and tells her not to come back, but I think that should have come from the President (Drifter) to do that. The OW does make another appearance at the clubhouse and I probably need to read that again, but I don't think Drifter stepped up enough there to tell her to leave. He had to threaten her with her brother to make it happen.
Then we have them trying to mend their relationship with an ongoing threat from another club. He does make amends in the end
Still good enough to read the conflict.

I gave this book 4 stars and that was due to the overall story not just the main two. Drifter and Rochelle have been together since they were teenagers and are married and she is his ole lady. I liked a lot of the other characters like Red, Belle, Rock and especially Clay. Clay had a maturity to him that Drifter lacked and was a positive character in this story. I did have a few issues that weren’t covered for me so I will say what they were as I would have liked the author to really dig deep and cover them. * Why were Drifter and Rochelle not aware of the fertility drugs and the hormonal changes they would make. It’s like they hadn’t even looked in to anything about it, so this meant they weren’t on the same page when she was acting irrational and bratty. * Drifter knew her behaviour was unusual for her so how did he not link it in with the fertility medication or ask her why she was behaving that way. * I didn’t get how you can be with someone for 15 years and have such poor communication. * Drifter blaming the alcohol was a cop out and he knew who he was cheating with, also the ending where she heard Siren attempted to kiss him is false as he did kiss her and he was sober when he did. * They both acted like teenagers with their stubbornness and not two people who were supposed to be working together to have a child and run an MC. * Also what happened to Melissa??? * What happened to the rival MC who were going after them and then just nothing even though Melissa escaped from them so they were still out there. My gripes don’t take away from a story that does cover the heartbreak and desperation for a child, it covers how Drifter utterly breaks his wife’s heart with his betrayal and how he fights to get her back.
Additional tropes: ✅Cheating ✅Other woman drama ✅Motorcycle club

Summary: Rochelle and Drifter are married. He is the president of a motorcycle club, his father was the president before him. Rochelle’s dad was the VP so she grew up a club princess and her and Drifter have been in each other’s lives for as long as they can remember and were their first everything.
Rochelle understands the motorcycle club life but doesn’t agree with a lot of aspects of it, especially as it relate to the club girls. There is one in particular who the FMC has a big problem with despite the MMC’s insistence there is nothing to worry about. Their bickering happens to be occurring while they are trying to conceive which is causing a lot of stress for the FMC. Months of trying and the FMC finally tests positive on her pregnancy test.
She is excited to share the surprise with the MMC and when she goes to find him, she is the one surprised when she finds him with the other woman. He knew this was a deal breaker and even though she’s heartbroken, she holds onto her resolve while the MMC is not doing well, but he only has himself to blame. Only time will tell if Rochelle can forgive him as she focuses on the next stage of her life as a mom.

*On page, caught in the act cheating. *Moderate other woman drama. 🌶️:2/5: Rating related just to the spicy scenes between the main characters.
Final thoughts: As far as motorcycle club romances go, this one was fine. It was very predictable in a lot of ways but brought some good angst and drama and I loved that the FMC made sure the MMC knew he messed up whenever she could. I did like that some of his club brothers really called him out for what he did. You don’t see that a lot when it’s the president that messes up, the brothers tend to go along with it but that’s wasn’t the case here. Overall, this was a quick and good read and I would recommend.

I’ve seen on TT that he cheated while drunk and that’s his only “redemption”. I’ve seen also on TT that the FMC is a strong badass female. Both were lies.
FMC is a doormat that stayed with him and she became her mother. She literally has all the qualities I hate when it comes to FMC’s. She’s weak, has no self-respect, embraces the double-standards, etc etc
•MMC was cheating on her BEFORE the “I was drunk and had s*ex with her” scene. •He knew exactly what he was doing while “drunk” btw. •OW was making him hot and bothered. At a point she made him so h*rny that he had to go find release. He chose to find release with his wife. Yeah. Siren made him horn* and he went and fcked his wife. •Gave him a lap dance (he wasn’t drunk) •He protected her and not the FMC. •FMC asked him multiple times to stay away from her and he ignored her. He was simply into her and her antics. •
There’s no real grovelling, cause as I said, the FMC is a weak character trying to act as a strong one. The dude fcked the OW under the pretence that he went to tell her to back off lol Like, he’s a big guy and let her sit him on a couch, sitting on him and then take his hands and put the on her breasts 😂 And I don’t even know how many times I’ve seen people saying “he was drunk” you’re all out of your minds. Dude KNEW he shouldn’t be doing what he was doing. How was he drunk when he has full control of what he’s doing ?
That was the first book that I read from this author and I’m very disappointed. I’m afraid that if someone is writing such an FMC, the rest of the characters will be similar.
MC = it's got some involvement but I have not read any of the other books in the series to really understand all that is going on, but I just skimmed and it was fine.
Cheating = h and H were struggling with fertility and h was injecting hormones that had her acting insecure, jealous and not who she normally would be. H knows she is struggling, but keeps sidelining her for being "too much" when he has other concerns. The OW/CW the h told the H to stay away from and who the H PROMISED to stay away from caught the H in a drunken moment and got him.
h sees H with OW = h gets to walk in on the H railing the OW on a pool table. Classy. No mention of any condoms or of the H even having concerns he could catch anything or went bare in a used up snatch. Gag.
OW drama = OW has been taunting the h for a few weeks and kept trying to get it on with the H. Comeuppance? While the OW was successful in getting the H, the h promptly dragged the OW out into the common room naked by the OW's hair, broke the OW's nose and threw her naked out of the clubhouse. Rock on...OW does try to skank her way back briefly, but H shuts her down and makes a threat that will keep OW away.
Grovel = h is pregnant and H is sad he made bad choices...Does he grovel? Yes, and it lasts several months, but it gets accelerated when h goes into labor where all gets forgiven. Was it enough? It seemed rushed and the book wrapped quickly, but it was okay.

Finally have my hands on this book!! The teasers id see were making me feral!!
I absolutely love Frans books & her writing, now as I well know by the teasers there is one major trope that im not particularly found of, but i followed through as wanted to see the outcome!
Drifter has been a VERY naughty boy, Rochelle AKA 'Hell' is Drifters ol' lady and when I tell you she makes him pay oh boy does she!
Throughout all of this, my heart goes out to Rochelle, if you've read Frans previous books you would of seen snippits of what she's going though, but reading it was heartbreaking! I just wanted to give her a massive hug!
I adore the friendship between Hell, Bella & Red. The way they stick together through everything that happens is beautiful.
The emotional rollercoaster i went through on this book was.. i have no words.. this was another 5 🌟 read for me! Im so sad ive finished it, but cant wait for Slayers book!!
I now need to go cry in the corner, thank you Fran for blessing me with this ARC
Tropes;
- Biker Romance - Established relationship - MC President x Ol’ Lady - Cheating / betrayal trope - Grovel & redemption arc - Jealous heroine - Protective Alpha - She makes him earn it - Fertility struggles - High-stakes MC drama - Club under attack - Possessive hero - Strong but spiralling FMC - “You’re mine” energy - OWD tension
I’m been so excited to read Drifters story and I can’t was not disappointed For me this series has been amazing I’ve loved every minute of it and can’t wait to see what’s to come from this series I honestly believe it’s just going to get better and better and I’m here for it all
Drifter being the club’s president is under a lot of pressure to keep his brothers the club the ladies everyone safe. Him and Hell have been together since they were younger this is all they’ve known Club life He’s a ruler who leads with determination and strength he’s a force to reckon with She’s strong in her own right She takes no prisoners and I love that about her she doesn’t stand for any nonsense I really enjoy reading about the other members and other characters and honestly this book had me belly laughing and the author has got my attention The subjects touched upon in this book Man I felt every emotion I felt every world and yes a few tears may have escaped I felt it all No spoilers from me but book with take you on a ride you will want to stay on, I was hoping for things to all work out but I never seen what was to come and the emotions I felt that the author managed too pull from me isn’t even funny You got me good girl you got me good
Well, I knew this one was going to be brutal. I’m not gunna lie, it was devastating.
I was deeply invested in this book. I’d read the previous FF books and Drifter had a lot riding on him.
I loved it!
Let me be clear, I don’t like Cheating books. I avoid them at all cost but again, I was invested. It’s worth a mention Drifter does cheat once (and a small incident at the strip club) Both hurt my heart (I cried) but Fran did a great job redeeming him.
Characters were just like I imagined. Both strong, independent and flawed.
Drifter exceeded my expectations how he basically turned it all around. Worked hard on himself and in turn this benefited the MC club. He cleaned house all for Hell.
I loved how tough Hell was. I don’t think she did anything over the top. I also appreciated her vulnerable moments and that Drifter heard them (even if it was the other side of the door)
I still can’t believe he did it but then I guess we wouldn’t have a book. He loved hard and true, this is why it’s so hard for me to reconcile cheating. For literally a few minutes of whatever and Drifter lost EVERYTHING.
This still hurts my heart but I’m glad i pushed through. I think Fran did an incredible job with this one ♥️
