DESIRE IS A DANGEROUS GAMBLE

For over a century, I’ve kept Las Vegas’s underworld in check—ensuring deals are made, debts are paid, and the fragile truce between Heaven and Hell holds. It’s a thankless job, an endless cycle of favors and threats, and I’ve grown tired of it.

Then Zephyr waltzes into my life. A red-haired incubus with a sweet smile and a talent for aerial silks, he’s the newest star at The Devil’s Dollhouse, the city’s most infamous demon-owned strip club. I tell myself it’s just curiosity, just temptation. I’ll get him out of my system and move on. Then one night turns into two, and three and, before I know it, he’s under my skin. He’s an obsession I can’t afford.

But the Dollhouse’s corrupt owner has his own agenda, and I’m the key to making it happen. Refusing the job could spell disaster. Accepting it could start a war. With Zephyr caught in the middle, the wrong choice might cost me more than just my heart.

Arc Review: Airborne (Sinful Nights & Neon Lights Book 1) by Quinn Cameron
MC:Zephyr & Beck 3.5⭐

“Zephyr snickered, then bent. Backward. Arching toward me in a perfect back bridge—slow, theatrical, obscene in its grace—and landing with his palms flat on the floor on either side of my hips. His face hovered inches from my cock.
I swallowed as my erection stiffened to full attention.
“Do you understand yet?” he asked, voice low and velvety.
“I think I’ve got the picture.”
He tilted his head, looking impish. No, make that devilish, in the best possible way.
“Good,” he hummed. “Because I’m hungry, Daddy. Can you feed me?”
I ran a hand down my face, already sweating. “For fuck’s sake. You’re turning that word into a goddamn weapon.”

🩷 Angels are the bad guys?

A jaded demon broker.
A shy virgin incubus.
A strip club run by monsters and misfits.

A virgin incubus? Wow. That alone hooked me immediately. Such a fun and unusual premise.

This was a really intriguing start to the series and I was instantly curious about the whole baby demon concept and the world around them. That said, it does suffer a bit from first-book syndrome. There are quite a few side characters clearly being set up for future books, and sometimes it felt like that took some focus away from Beck and Zephyr.

The world itself is interesting, but I did finish the book with more questions than answers. I still don’t fully understand what Beck’s job actually is, and the situation with his ex was never completely clear to me either. I also wanted more details about the demon side of things and how everything works. Still, the premise is strong and I’m definitely curious enough to keep reading.

Beck was… a bit rough for me at the start. His hot-and-cold attitude toward Zephyr really irritated me, and the way he assumed things about him because he’s an incubus didn’t sit well. The language he uses at times — calling Zephyr a whore, slut, stripper in a very derogatory way — gave me the ick. I get that he had his own baggage and assumptions, but it was still uncomfortable to read. I also wasn’t fully convinced by Beck’s character growth. He had a lot to work through, and for me it felt like that transformation needed a bit more page time.

Thankfully he does get his act together eventually, and when the shift happens it becomes much softer and almost worshipful, which I actually loved. That dynamic worked really well for me by the end and the daddy dynamics worked really well for both characters, even if this relantionshi starts and is build based on sex, because incubus 😀

Zephyr was easy to root for from the start, his neediness, innocence really made him a likable character. I only wish we had gotten more description of his performances. They’re described as beautiful and mesmerizing, but I wanted a bit more detail so I could really picture them. Some scenes were surprisingly emotional too. Their first really intimate moment felt very tender and vulnerable, and that one got to me more than I expected.

And Mazzy? Absolutely not. I hated him. What a sleazeball.

The writing sometimes leans a bit too much into telling rather than showing. We spend a lot of time in the characters’ heads explaining feelings and motivations, and I think some of the development would have felt stronger if we had seen more of it through actions instead. There were also moments where the pacing felt a little rushed, especially when moving between events.

I also have to praise all the dancers, especially Darby, who played such an important role in Zephyr’s growth, and Collet — because honestly, who wouldn’t want a protective hellhound watching their back? The found family aspect was also extremely important for Zephyr, and you could really feel how much that support system helped him change and grow.

I read Hounded and absolutely loved it — one of my favorite reads of 2025 — so it was really fun to be back in this universe, this time in Vegas, meeting a whole new cast of characters at the Dollhouse. There are so many personalities there and they all felt distinct, and I already have a few favorites I’m hoping we’ll get to know much better in the next books. And i think i read a little of an easter egg about a certain Phoenix ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

So while it wasn’t perfect for me, I’m definitely invested and looking forward to the next book.

“Let the Dollhouse belong to its devils.”

This book had such an interesting and unique premise; I really enjoyed it! Set in a AU where angels and demons walk the street alongside humans, the book follows new incubus demon picked fresh from hell, Zephyr. Aerialist Zephyr is recruited into strip club The Dollhouse by shady wraith Maslow. But Maslow is stealing the dancers’ energy as well as selling their bodies, leaving them broken and exhausted.

This book didn’t shy away from the horrible life that Zephyr was forced to lead as a sex worker (Maslow . Even his love interest Beck initially treats him as nothing more than a toy to be used and discarded, but his opinion changes markedly the more time he spends with Zephyr. I enjoyed Beck’s character growth arc and also his banter with his best friend and associate, badass hellhound Collette.

I adored the found-family of dancers and I’m very excited for future books about them! The threat of the Angels trying to take over Las Vegas one card game at a time kept me hooked and I want to know more!

This one lost a star for me because I felt there was a huge power imbalance between Beck and Zephyr that was never truly evened out and I prefer my couples to be on even footing by the end. I also could have done without the Daddy/Baby pet names, but that’s just me…

Overall a great read and an amazing start to this series!

Airborne is an amazing start to a fascinating universe.

I received an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and honestly, I loved this book from the epilogue.

In a Vegas that has been divided by the politics of angels and demons, The Dollhouse - a nightclub club on the demon’s side of the city- serves human and demons alike with a variety of demon dancers. When Beck walks into the club one night to try and seal a deal with a client, he’s entranced by Zephyr, the young incubus who goes by Ruby. With his aerial skills routine and alluring innocence, Zephyr is impossible to resist.

This book has everything: complex, layered characters, visual storytelling that makes you feel immersed, a growing universe that had me feral to know more, supporting characters that *actually support* the story rather than being background noise, excellent spice 👀 and some seriously quotable moments.

I loved this and I can see this series being one of the highlights of the year.

I loved this book. I loved the characters (both the main and side), I loved the world building and I loved the development of the romance between the two characters.
Zephyr and Beck are two idiots that have no idea what they are doing and I really related to that, having said that the relationship comes today beautifully.
Hurt/comfort is a main theme running though this book so please make sure you read the content warnings.
I cannot wait for more books in this series, there are so many characters stories I want to read about.
Thoroughly recommend.

I received this ebook as an ARC but this is a completely honest review.

Okay, I loved it! I’m absolutely obsessed with the concept of this book ✨.

Even though I was so frustrated at first by Beck's inability to accept his feelings for Zephyr, I ended up falling head over heels for both of them! Zephyr is everything that is right with this world; I loved him so much, and by the end of the book, I couldn't stop crying with him😭😭💖 All I wanted was to put him in a little jar and protect him from all the evil in the world—him and all the other demons too😭😭.

I am DYING to read Darby’s story and the rest of the guys! Elliott and Ox have been catching my eye since the moment they showed up... 👀🔥💖 Can the author please write fast enough so I can dive into the next books already? 🥹

A nightclub owner pulls an incubus up from the depths of Hell to be part of his menagerie of salacious entertainers on the Vegas strip.

When a demon working as a business broker brings a promising client to the club, he lays eyes on the incubus for the first time, and both their fates are sealed.

What begins as an encounter born of opportunity and lust transforms into a union between two victimized entities learning to heal in one another’s love.

For readers seeking a demonology-centered, queer, fantasy romance story that's as gritty as it is heartfelt, Airborne will deliver in spades!

Quinn is a new to me author and I am so glad I picked up Airborne, book 1 in the Sinful Nights & Neon Lights Series. It was, for lack of better words, so good. The MCs, secondary characters and the world being built between Demons and Angels I ate it up. I can't wait to see where the story will continue.

You couldn't have asked for two more opposite MC's, yet perfect for each other.

Beck has been around a long time and he gives you the impression he has seen it all, and he is innately suspicious. He has taken part in all sorts of nefarious deals, seen the worst in the world around him, but his denial (I can't call it naivety) of what the Dollhouse really was showed how truly he was stuck.

Meanwhile there is Zephyr. Brand new baby bird, he needs attention, reassurance, and he just doesn't know there is so, so much more out there. He just wants to soar, see the world he lost and hopefully survive.

Most of the story takes place between the walls of the Dollhouse and there are five other dancers. I loved the found family with Darby taking lead. I would love for Darby to find his own no strings attached love. He's a handful, they all are actually. They managed to not let their spirits break despite the club owners nefarious behaviors.

Beck has a bodyguard named Collette, and she made every scene she was in enjoyable. From her strange awareness of sex to telling Beck the hard truths.

The cover drew me in instantly and the description had me feral to read this book. It most definitely didn't disappoint!

In this world, Angels and Demons are running Las Vegas. The story mostly centers around Zephyr, a newly raised incubus who goes by the stage name Cherry, and Beck, a centuries old demon who's had his heart broken one too many times not be cynical. Their paths cross at The Devil's Dollhouse and sparks fly pretty much instantly. The owner of the The Dollhouse is pretty scummy, even for a demon, and Beck knows he has to keep his promise to Zephyr to make things better.

There are some miscommunications and restarts along the way but I enjoyed seeing how their relationship grew. Some parts are their dynamic are not usually my cup of tea but I did really like the story and I'm interested to read more books in this series. The other dances at The Devil's Dollhouse are fascinating and I'm looking forward to learning more about them and this world.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.25 stars

This book is on the long side and I will say that for me, there were parts that lagged a bit in the storytelling. I felt that there could have been areas that were tightened up and condensed. But overall, this is a story of the push and pull between two men; one who at his heart is a savior, and one who is desperate need of saving so he can stand on his own.

Ultimately, this is a good start to a series, and there are certainly plenty of characters to keep us on the journey. While the main conflict in this book is resolved, it’s really only the beginning for the dancers at the dollhouse, more nefarious things threaten, and more men who deserve their happily ever after. If you’re looking for a twist on the standard paranormal, with tropes you know and love, take a look at this book.

3/5. It was… um… It lacked. It lacked, and that sucks because the premise was interesting. It kinda felt like the same song and dance we’ve seen before, but add in copious amounts of nothing in places something desperately needed to be. Oh, and twincest. Like, they’re side characters, but not everyone has morality issues with incest. Some of us just have trauma, buddies, and it would’ve been nice to know before I made the choice to pick up the ARC. I did my best to ignore it overall for the sole reason that just because it’s not my jam doesn’t mean someone else isn’t keen to make their toast, ya know? It just wasn’t for me. I’m sure someone out there is going to count this as their forever #1, but it’s not me.

Okay but LISTEN.

Airborne (Sinful Nights & Neon Lights Book 1) by Quinn Cameron (out April 3rd, 2026) I could not put this ARC down.

Demons. Incubi. Vegas. A morally exhausted underworld boss. And a red-haired aerialist incubus working at a demon-owned strip club. What could possibly go wrong? 😌

The chemistry is SO good. It’s spicy and sweet in that very Quinn way — obsession creeping in, tension building, feelings catching everyone off guard. Zephyr is soft and lethal at the same time and I loved him.

If I’m being picky? I wanted a little more roughness. I know Quinn can push the characters harder, and this felt slightly sweeter than I expected. But for book one, it sets the table perfectly for the chaos that’s clearly coming.

5⭐
3.5🌶️

I’m already impatient for book two. and 3-4-5.

I really love a good Angels/Demons storyline, and in this book, Angels and Demons walk the earth alongside humans. There are a lot of power dynamics in this story, but I was kind of here for it. Zephyr and Beck grew to become very sweet, but Beck's judgment at the beginning was annoying. Like, just worship at this sexy baby's feet instead of casting him under the label of sex worker. I really enjoyed the found-family elements of the story and will definitely be continuing the series.

This book was pretty good. I liked Zephyr’s sweet naïveté, and Beck’s cynical take on…everything. They are a fun combination, and I will check out future books to see the stories of the other dancers unfold. Colette cracked me up.
I do wish Maslow had gotten what he deserved, but I suspect Darby might be the one that gets to serve it to him in a future book.

A demon strip club, a newly made incubus, a rich demon lawyer and lots of tension and pretty much the epitome of what Rihanna was talking about with loving the smell of sex in the air! A worthwhile read and a great story of identity, standing up for yourself, (a lot of sex) and finding a family you didn’t know you needed! The whole cast is a fun bunch and a great first intro to this series!!!

Another WIN by Quinn! I’ve been lucky enough to follow her from the beginning and I said this last time and I’ll say it again- it gets better every single time. Each story including this one has such a fun and unique taste on hell based fantasy. I loved the acrobatic side of this and how she handled the delicate balance of SW. the characters and love interest was adorable. This WAS also her spiciest book yet!

I was lucky to read this as a beta, and I adored it then and rereading the ARC version did not change my mind. I love that this is in the same universe as the Hounded duology and that we get essentially the fall out from that book in this series. One thing I really enjoy that Quinn does well is make side characters that you love. Collette is amazing, and I adore her. I expect she will be rather prominent through the series, too, which I love. As for Beck and Zeph, they are so sweet together. I love how innocent Zeph is and how he ends up with this powerful, aged demon who literally will do anything for him. I love all of the dolls. I am so excited to see where this series goes. While every book is a standalone, the world building and drama aside from the relationships will be best read in order, and I can't wait to see how this battle for Las Vegas goes.

I made it to 56% and couldn’t handle it anymore. I didn’t realize this was a trafficking situation! Based on the blurb I thought Zeph was an aerial exotic performer… ya know, of his own free will with a crap boss. I especially didn’t like that Beck treated Zeph like a common whore. I’ve gotta be in the mood for something like this and instead I felt blindsided.

Angels are A$$holes

1️⃣ **Overall Rating:** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2️⃣ **Overview/Synopsis:**: book 1 of the Sinful Nights & Neon Lights series

3️⃣ **Favorite Character:**: I love Zephyr. Bit also really loved Darby, cannot wait for his book

4️⃣ **Most Memorable Scene:**: The 48 hours. You’ll know it.

5️⃣ **Favorite Quote or Line:**: “You should be glad I’m staying away. I nearly got my finger removed by an incutwink with an oral fetish.”

6️⃣ **Overall Review Summary:**: So this is my first Quinn Cameron book. Holy Shit I have been missing out.

The story itself was super engaging, it keeps you wanting to know more and what’s going to happen. The characters were super interesting and even though this is Zephyr’s book I felt we got to know the rest of the cast as well.

I also really enjoyed the lore written for the story and look forward to seeing more of it.

The spice is wonderful, and it hits fast. I was so here for it. But I also enjoyed that it wasn’t overwhelming in the story since Zephyr is a succubus.

Over all and amazing story and I cannot wait for then next in the series.

Strong tension and romantic conflict. I enjoyed that part a lot.

Zephyr’s a virgin incubus demon, newly awoken in Hell, who takes a deal to get out and back to Earth…to work in a place called the Devil’s Dollhouse as an erotic aerialist dancer.

Beck is a wealthy contract demon who sees him perform and can’t look away.

Zephyr and his fellow dancers, 5 more of them, are trapped in the Dollhouse by their agreement with Maslow, the wraith who owns the place. Maslow takes the energy they absorb from lust and admiration from dancing and sucks it into himself, leaving the dancers exhausted and hungry for more energy. (It’s unclear to me how/why all dancers do/need this as none of the others are incubi, but, they do.)

Beck and Zephyr have an intense but awkward connection and first encounter that leads to Zeph biting Beck and drawing blood and everything going sideways. But Beck can’t get the aerialist off his mind, and his infrequent returns become regular. But Beck thinks of Zeph as a whore and opportunist, despite the fact that he can’t stay away. Their relationship is unbalanced, but there’s tenderness along with harshness, and Beck becomes the only safe club client that Zeph can fully breathe around. (The dancers are their own found family of support, but they’re all trapped with little agency. Still, some lovely dynamics here!)

The worldbuilding is overly sparse, with little info on the types of demons and how the energy exchange works. It’s unclear what the deal is with the demons Maslow has lured to work in the Dollhouse and why they can’t leave, why they’re his property, but, they are. It’s also unclear how much sex work is happening. It sounds like it doesn’t have to, it can be lap dances and touching without full sex, and it’s implied that Zephyr is with no one but Beck that way, but, it’s also a bit nebulous for my taste. And the other dancers I’m unsure how much they’re pressured or want to service club goers, but, I suspect they do.

Update from @patrícia, see comment below, thank you! Per the author, Zephyr is not with anyone but Beck! Huzzah for me (and my fellow "no OP action please" fans...!)

I enjoyed seeing Beck brought to his knees by his draw to Zephyr, and Zephyr’s innocent unawareness of his incubus draw and power over Beck that way…Zephyr has no idea what his abilities/physicality is as an incubus, and no one fills him in, leading to one massively heartbreaking misunderstanding and 3rd act breakup that about did me in. It’s painful and leads to what I thought of as “mouth rape” for Zephyr from Maslow abusing his power and “lending” him into a situation that had me so enraged I was shaking. TW for assault. And my larger issue with it is that while things end up well for Beck and Zephyr, not one of those abusive wastes of space is brought to justice for participating in abusing Zephyr.

The gross Maz is taken down, somewhat, but, I really wanted/needed more justice for Zephyr. He and Beck are not equal in power even at the end, though Zeph has emotional power, and I wasn’t convinced Beck reached the level of respect for Zephyr he should have had all along. I did believe in his strong feelings for Zephyr, and loved seeing the jaded demon reawoken and evolving to the point of finally fighting for and winning Things for Zephyr and his crew. But it wasn’t quite satisfying without the really bad thing being resolved.

Beck also has an ex who really did a number on him, and I was frustrated not to learn more about that backstory, despite the ex being on page as part of a pivotal plot point here. Another underdeveloped element, though the stakes around his scenes did spike tension well.

Cheers for Beck’s assistant and driver Colette, who fights for Zeph when Beck fails, and speaks French and is the reason we learn about Zephyr’s past human life (which apparently some demons remember, some don’t). I didn’t like her pushiness and wink-nudge jokiness about Zeph at first, but she came through in the end and became his real hero in some ways. Despite his growing obsession, Beck still saw and treated Zeph as more of an object and a threat to himself for too long for me, and while I see them being happy together in the future, IMO, the man had more work to do to really understand the treasure he stumbled across.

Still, the tension sizzled, and the chemistry was strong. The story kept my attention despite feeling a bit surface level on worldbuilding and Beck's backstory.

HEA, intended sex worker (I really don’t think Zeph was with anyone else, despite Maz pushing him to be) falls for client and vice versa. Demons, angels. OM drama from Beck’s ex, who’s mixed up with the people who grossly abuse Zeph. Pretty confident no OM action; safe for me. Recommended.

My thanks to Gay Romance Reviews for the ARC; this is my free and impartial opinion.

3.5 stars. This one had an interesting premise and concept. Although I have some mixed feelings about this, I ended up enjoying it overall. It's not perfect, hence the rating, but it accomplished part of what it wanted to. It's a good example as to why half stars are needed in this platform. I don't think this deserves a 3 because that's too low, but not a 4 either because that's high for what it delivered.

As I said, the premise was really great. The Hazbin Hotel and Huskerdust inspiration were easy to pinpoint (and I will bring this up again later, sorry in advance). I was the target audience as someone that likes those two. The author made it their own universe though, and it showed potential to be expanded.

Now onto the MCs. Zephyr was awesome from the start, easy to love and care for. His situation resembled Angel's from that show, but his personality and the little glimpses of his backstory were different. I really liked the contrast of an innocent character like him and the fact that he's an incubus. Beck worked well as a love interestest too, the distinction between him with Zephyr was very appealing.

I liked how Beck was resistant to fall for Zephyr's charms at the very beginning. Their chemistry was great, the age gap was hot and the stripper x client dynamic is one of my favorites so it was easy to like them. I especially liked the idea of an older experienced demon falling for an innocent young one and experiencing feelings he thought he never would again.

Here's where I start to talk about the issues I had with the book. The first one was that I wanted less inclusion of pop culture and anything related to the real world. I'm fine with a few mentions, but the beginning had a good number of them. Thankfully it slowed down through the rest of the book and it wasn't as frequent.

Another thing was that I felt that Beck gave in a bit too soon into the 'risking it all for him' mentality, considering that he had that revelation after their second encounter. I would've preferred that realization to come a bit slower after his initial fascination.

Then I had a problem with that big scene between MCs at around 60% too. Even when there was some foreshadowing, which was great, I felt like the incident came abruptly and it all happened too fast. It wasn't about one character making me angry, but how it sort of felt out of place, like it shouldn't happen at that moment or that way.

I honestly liked the first half of this book more. Up until 50% I was thinking of giving it 4 stars or more, but the second half is where the plot faltered for me. Even when I enjoyed most of the sex scenes, at some point I wanted less of that and more development for the main storyline, given that the main villain was still a threat.

I also wasn't entirely sure how to feel about the climax and subsequential ending. I was expecting the stakes to be higher, but it turned out tame in comparison to my expectations. The bet scene felt underwhelming to me because the general idea was similar to the one from some popular Huskerdust fanfics (a game where Husk buys Angel's contract or saves him through a bet). I wanted this version to feel more thrilling at least. I liked how the reunion with that other side character happened though.

Lastly, the ending felt a bit lackluster in my opinion. I don't mind HFN nor open endings, but this one made me feel like the book needed one more chapter for a better clousure. I understand that not everything could be solved here since it's a series, but I do expect the final chapter to feel satisfying. It didn't really manage that for me.

Overall, the book had a very interesting concept. It delivered some of that in certain aspects, mainly involving the pairing, the lovable cast and the setting. The way Zephyr got to discover more of himself, find someone that loved him for himself and become part of a found family was the highlight. I'm really looking forward to the next book and the rest of the series.

PS. I loved the thing with the twins, I really want them to have their own book and I hope that whatever they had going on wasn't just teasing. Praying for the author to go all the way 🙏.

I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I wanted it like this one, I really did and I feel bad whenever I get an ARC and end up giving it a low review but this one just kind of had a lot of issues that bothered me personally, that after a certain point I couldn’t overlook.

My issues:

I really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt when I started it but we immediately got off onto the wrong foot with surprise incest between identical twins who are prominent side characters. That was extremely awkward and uncomfortable and it wasn’t subtle or wink wink nudge nudge either. It’s literal twin on twin incest and there are no warnings, and incest isn’t something that should be a surprise and is definitely not something for me, it’s a huge ick. To each their own.

The book was also way too long for how superficial the plot felt. I don’t know if it needed that many sex scenes to get the point across but that’s a personal preference and if that’s your thing, it’s all good. There was a LOT of tell, don’t show going on which I think really bogged things down. I thought

The thing with Beck’s ex was awkward and unresolved and clearly there’s still more that’s going to happen there. The character himself seemed cool, and I was interested in him. But not so interested in whatever is unresolved between him and Beck.

I didn’t feel a whole lot of a connection to either of the characters honestly. It was just kind of lacking something that I can’t really put my finger on.

What I did like:

Quinn’s a super talented writer. I think it’s easy to get bogged down in details, especially starting up a new series and I hope that with another book or two in, things will relax a bit. (though I don’t think we need constant descriptions of everyone’s designer clothes every time they enter the room).

The boys in general all felt like unique characters, if a bit overly tropey (there’s nothing wrong with that). I liked Colette, I liked Darby. Maz was a shitty villain (in the way he was supposed to be).

The cover. It's so nice and so is the next one. Illustrated covers are so hit and miss for me but this is a+

Even if it was entirely unintentional, from the very beginning, like minutes into the book I clocked the vibes that Zephyr was basically Angeldust, and Maz was Val. I guess grumpy Beck was kinda husk-ish. That’s not a bad thing but it was totally hard to shake that image from my head the entire time I was reading it.

All in all. This one ended up being not the right fit for me, and I probably won’t continue with the rest of the series in the future. But I do think that there’s a lot of potential here, so who knows what might happen.

But idk, in the future maybe tag the incest.

Quinn, you knocked it out of the park!!! I've been waiting to dive into my copy of this book and now that I was finally able to read it, I have to say that the wait was well worth it! It just made finally being able to read it even better!

I've seen teasers of this book being posted, the gorgeous artwork being shared on socials, I'm apart of Quinn's street team so I've seen a lot of these characters but now that I've finally read their story I love them even more! And I'm even more excited now for the rest of this series, these men deserve to get their happily ever after in whatever shape or form that may take.

Cherry, aka, Zephyr, is an incubus who made a deal with someone who tempted him into a life of servitude with false promises. He doesn't like being an incubus or having to feed on people or being fed from, but it's the only life he has now and he has no way out of it. Until he meets a smooth talking, slightly uptight, high standing demon who shows him there's a way out from Maslow's clutches. Their journey isn't an easy one but their path was worth it in the end.

I absolutely adore Zephyr he's just so precious! He's one of those characters that you just want to wrap up in a hug and shower with affection, you know? He's a sweetheart, and despite being an incubus, he's so innocent and also sincere. He isn't cut out to be malicious or to be used, he just wants to be loved and accepted, and gosh, he made my heart hurt for him at time. Thankfully though after getting a stern talking to, Beckett stood up and made good on his promise and was there for his Beauty.

I thought this book was really great and also really interesting! I loved the world building and how everything was described in such bright and vibrant details..I could practically envision the places this story took place in because of the intricate details and I loved that! I also really adored getting introduced to the other Dolls, they are all spectacular in their own ways and I'm so excited to get to know them better! Darby, Colt, Callum, Oz, and Elliot helped shape this story into what it became, they aren't just side characters but a main part of the story. They took a while to warm up to Cherry, but once they did they all became family, and that scene where they showed Cherry just how much they cared? Absolutely precious! I'm so excited to see them get their own stories eventually!

All in all a fantastic start to a highly anticipated new series about the resident of the Devil's Dollhouse... Enter if you dare.

I received my copy yesterday, and I just flew through it immediately, not being able to put it down.

Airbourne is a really nice introduction to this series, letting you get acquainted with the setting and the characters, that we’ll be following throughout the series. I already have my favorites, and I’m very much looking forward to the next book.

My positives:
- I finished Hounded recently, and it felt good to be back in the same universe, this time in Vegas. It’s fun to explore Quinn’s version of angels and demons and seeing her play with established tropes and turning them a bit on the head.
- There were so many different kind of characters in the Dollhouse, and they all felt unique. I’m looking forward to getting to know them better in future books
- Even though the story was kinda predictable, that wasn’t a negative for me. I feel like we’ve seen version of this story before, but with the different setting I still found it very enjoyable.

The reason I’m “only” giving it 3 stars:
- During the book, I felt we got a lot af telling, not showing. We spend a lot of time in the characters heads, being told about things that they were feeling and perceiving, and explaining why they were doing this or that. It does not have to be a bad thing necessarily, I still enjoyed the book, but I do think it sometimes took a bit away from the character developments. It would have been interesting to be shown this change in their actions instead of being guided through it via their thoughts.
- The writing also seemed a bit rushed at times, when the story plot needed to be moved forward. This might just be my personal preference, but I’m not a fan of listing out what happened in quick succession, to let us know what happened in between two chapters or two scenes. At one point it also had me confused as to how much time had passed between two scenes, and I had to go back and reread it a few times to make sure I was following
- I appreciated how Beck was a flawed character, and at times I did wanna reach through the screen and shake him a bit, but I didn’t 100% buy his character development. It seemed like he had a lot to work through, throughout the book, and for me, it seemed like he may have needed more pages to do it
- After finishing the book, I’m also not sure I understand what the problem between him and his ex was? I don’t believe that was ever explained and through the actions of the ex, he came across as kinda nice, so I’m slightly confused

I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Ooooh wooow Airborne was simply AMAZING! I was thoroughly enraptured by everything this dynamic, riveting narrative had going on! The characters were all vivacious, the villain was proper awful, the love story was rooted in the wildest emotional rollercoaster ride, and at any given moment I was sobbing for Zephyr and I very much loved that for me!

I was squirming for this precious babe from the jump, terrified and hopeful for his happily ever after in equal measure! I wanted to hug him and keep him safe from page 1, and throughout most of this I was pretty much shouting at Beck to get a hold of himself! It was entirely enjoyable as it was frustrating though, as I do soooo love a powerful grump who struggles hard with his big feelings before accepting how madly in love he was from the start!

Zephyr was achingly vulnerable, and tender, and so unsure of himself, and it was impossible to not be emotionally invested in his wellbeing. But also, every single character was so richly realized that it was easy for me to love them all, especially Darby and Colette! The drama was engrossing and the plot was fire!

I loved the gently thrumming, light-filled thread of Zephyr's unique innocence that really stood out against Cameron's intensified Sin City vibes that only an angels and demons populated Vegas can deliver. Weirder still was to have that impression hold strong through to the end when Zephyr was an incubus whose lore is emphatically lusty.

But Cameron masterfully executed the push and pull tension, went poignant levels of deep, filled every evocative corner of this with yearning, mystery, and clever survival mechanisms.

Mostly I loved that this multifaceted narrative did not hold back and made mush out of my heart and kept me addicted to every sentence until I could breathe again!

Airborne was magnificent
and Quinn Cameron's an enchanting storyteller

4.25 stars - This story started out a little slow for me, but once it picked up, I was flying through to the end. Sweet Zephyr is an incubi who made a deal with the devil to get out of hell only to find himself in another one entirely. He, and the other demons who made similar deals with Mazzy, the wraith who freed them from hell, runs the Devil’s Dollhouse club, a brothel/strip club where the demon boys are forced to perform in various ways. They basically fill up their auras/energy from clients only to have Mazzy drain it from them each morning in a never ending cycle. They are captives of the club, not allowed outside and only have the bare necessities inside. They have formed a sort of family/brotherhood in their daily lives of hopeless survival.

That is, until one day when Beckett comes to the club. Beckett is also a demon but of another type. He comes in as a client but is taken in by Zephyr when they are introduced. It takes a while for Beckett to open up to Zephyr with various beliefs impeding that process. He believes the club demons, incubi particularly, of which Zephyr is the only one, are parasites feeding off their hosts and enthralling their victims, something which he is strongly against allowing himself to befall.

Poor Zephyr goes through so much with the push and pull of hope and hopelessness and the starvation and hunger he deals with on a daily basis. He falls for Beckett as well thinking he is different. Zephyr is also pretty sheltered and doesn’t really know what it means to be an incubi, especially one who doesn’t enjoy what that entails. But, he enjoys it all with Beckett.

They have a rough go of it for a while before things become clearer and Beckett promises to fix Zephyr’s situation. There is anticipation and a little mystery as to why things are happening or how they will be fixed, but suffice it to say it is worth it in the end. Once this story got rolling, I was hooked and not ready for it to end. I’m excited to see this is a series and look forward to seeing where it all goes next.

Was I crying at this book at 3am because I couldn't put it down? Yes, yes I was. Quinn Cameron has just produced the newest and most exciting series so far this year and I would recommend to anyone who enjoys high angst, dark fantasy romances where the stakes are high and the emotions are higher!

Our two MCs could not be more different. Zephyr/Cherry is the sweetest, gentlest little bird of an MC who needs to be wrapped in a million blankets and given all the lovely things. Cuteness aggression 100% engaged for this wounded baby cinnamon roll.

Beck is jaded, tired and suspicious. He falls for Zephyr despite himself and the preconceived notions he has about his Beauty. At times he isn't all that likeable, but he is always compelling and I loved him as an MC even if I wanted to throttle him occasionally.

The plot was mostly character led as the two met again and again within the walls of the club and their romance developed from a one night stand into a fierce need and protectiveness. But there was also the question of how Beck was going to deal with the awful things that the club owner was putting Zephyr through and whether Zephyr would ever be free. Expect some on page non-consensual touching and threats of sexual assault, slavery, coercion, and mental/emotional abuse.

But Zephyr is not alone in the club - there is a whole found family of dancers who hopefully will all get their own stories! They all have very different, very vivid personalities and I adored every single one! Beck also has a bodyguard called Colette which was hilarious, fierce and sweet and I loved every single scene she was in. So not only do we have two compelling MCs and a storyline that at times was edge of your seat stuff, but we have a wonderful cast of secondary characters that I really hope we see more of.

This is a wonderful entry into the fantasy romance genre and I'm so excited to see where Quinn goes next with it!

I received an advanced reader copy and I am leaving my honest opinions voluntarily.

"Airborne" by Quinn Cameron is an MM paranormal romance. There are angels, demons, hellhounds, and more!

The story follows Zephyr, an incubus that is fresh out of hell and is working at a strip club called "The Doll House". He's also a virgin and isn't thrilled with losing that virginity to a random client at the club, but when faced with an insatiable hunger, he decides to find the perfect meal.

Lucas Beckett is a contract demon, at The Doll House to entice a client to hire him for his services. But when he meets Zephyr, his plans change.

Ratings:
Overall: 5/5 hearts - There's nothing I didn't love in this book. The paranormal elements are perfect and I loved that there was just enough angst and heartache to keep me turning page after page. Pair that with high heat and romance, and I was SOLD.

Peppers: 4/5 - The spice starts early and really doesn't stop. Around 40% of the book is spice and I was never mad about that.

Spice: 5/5 - The spice was done so well. Lots of positions, locations, and emotions. It was wonderful and I have no notes.

Plot: 5/5 -
- Storyline: There are really two storylines happening here. One being the romance between Zephyr and Beckett. The second is "The Dolls" verse the wraith that pulled them from hell, Mazz. Both are well done with just enough twists and turns to keep you enthralled.

- Characters: OMG. The characters are so freaking great. I loved Zephyr and Beckett but there's also a giant catalogue of side characters that are all done well. I found myself desperate for everyone to find their happy endings. I'm so excited to read the follow up books to make sure all of my boys end up happy.

- Writing: It's fantastic. Easy to read with perfect pacing and no spelling issues. The words flowed so smoothly and just fell off of the page, straight into my brain and I loved every second of it.

Page Count: 450
Time to Read (Estimate): 6 hours

I may be biased, because Quinn Cameron was my favourite new author of 2025, but truly we are in for something special with this new series. While it takes place in the Houndedverse - a short time after the events of Ashes to Ashes - you can absolutely pick it up on its own, as this series starts expanding on Earth with demons and angels running around in it - in Las Vegas, no less!

This series continues with what Quinn excels at - characterization and internal voice, brilliantly emotional prose and a dramatic storyline with tons of juicy action, but this time, she really starts flexing with the spice. These are HIGH HEAT, very fun, and Airborne manages not only a great storyline, but also a very effective intro to the Dollhouse and its residents that has me absolutely salivating for the next books.

The main setting - a demonic strip club, employing a lineup of sexy infernal men to fit any taste and preference - is the perfect backdrop for the colourful cast. Airborne focuses on Beck, a grouchy, jaded wheeler and dealer who makes his Earthly living making deals with the devil (it's him, the devil is him lol). He has a loyal, snarky, (very) French hellhound at his side, who was highlight of the whole book for me, with plenty of friendly banter and playful teasing about Beck's bad decisions.

Namely, the bad decision to get involved with the club's newest performer - the fresh-to-Earth incubus Zephyr, who is the SWEETEST BABY. Seriously, he's sympathetic and fun, and the entire time I just wanted to scream at the book to stop making him cry!! :( Fortunately, Beck does eventually dry all those tears, and fans of idiots-to-lovers will definitely enjoy the process of them getting there.)

Because this is definitely a darker story, I do suggest that you check the trigger warnings if you need to, but I can definitely say that this book was a great time, I had a blast reading it, and I think you will, too.
