this book was absolutely ridiculous in the best way 😂😂😂
it was VERY fast burn, Enzo went from rigid cold asshole to ott obsessive possessive REAL FAST, like literally overnight .
i appreciate that Mila pushed him at first, treating him like he treated her for 3 years.
the " i don't believe in love. i don't want to love, love is bad because i had a bad childhood " trope is SEVERELY overdone especially when the MC is a grown ass man.
But honestly, I didn't care because I didn't take this book seriously.It was more comedic relief than anything😂😂
i mean, the man freaking stole her glasses. wore them and jerked off to them, and asked her to sign his dick and balls for fuck's sake😂😂😂😂

This might be my favorite of the series. Mostly because the FMC made him work for it after she’s been pining for him for years. I do wish they would have gotten together sooner. I usually don’t mind this but there was too much OM drama for me. This OM showed up every freaking where. I was thinking he had some nefarious plans for our girl because it couldn’t be a coincidence that he just kept ending up in the same place as her over and over and over again. But no he was just always there. And I think that’s why he bugged me so much. Every time he came around I was like ugh go somewhere, you’re not Enzo! Lol. Anyway Enzo took a minute to realize his obsession but once he did he went full force. I wish his touch aversion was fleshed out more. He mentions it once and then it’s never brought up again.
There were some parts that were meant to show how obsessed his was that I thought were a little out there. Like him saying he stole her glasses and wore them while he jacked off thinking about her. I was like ummm what??? lol
The ending wrapped up way too quickly. They were fighting and then the next chapter is the epilogue. Didn’t quite work for me.
I’m surprised there’s another brother. He’s never mentioned!! I’ll definitely read the next one.

Don’t even waste your time. I honestly thought all the bad reviews would be lying based on all the cute little scenes I saw on TikTok, but alas they were definitely not wrong. This book was actually just so terrible and I had to stop reading after this corporate goody two shoes FMC let some random man do a body shot off of her for absolutely no reason. This book has much better character building and plot than the previous books, but it frustrated me how much time they spent apart because the hero kept pushing her away and she kept dating and sleeping with other men.
Also I’m glad when they get together, it doesn’t have more drama but it had a few issues that irked me.

When Enzo realised she was leaving him for good, he went from grumpy boss to over possessive man. Apparently there is a curse in his family where their loves turn to obsession and they cannot live without their women. After Enzo saw his father succumb to that, he didn’t want any women in his life. He thought he could kept Mila in his world orbiting around himself without claiming her as his.
I love that Mila made Enzo worked for her back. She treated him so rudely like he treated her when they started working together. Bruh, the man was so obsessed with her, he made her sign his balls 🙈

I didn't like it at all, don't believe what booktok says that it's a very good book.
The whole series contains books with very few pages, with poorly developed and inconsistent plots, I waited so long for the last book to disappoint me in the end.

I saw a scene on tiktok and i got interested but it was basic and short really short. it was corny and weird but why i liked it a little well enough to finish it. i would never recommend this book to anyone tho

So what pulled me into this book was definitely the whole “her boss” trope! I love that dynamic when it’s done right!!! The tension, the slow burn, the build-up? Yes please! But this… this was not it.
Everything just escalated way too fast. Like one second they’re existing and the next we’re supposed to believe they’re deeply into each other? There was zero chemistry. I didn’t feel any tension, no emotional buildup, nothing that made me root for them. It just felt rushed.
The way the secretary (the supposed main female lead) talked about herself really threw me off. I get that low self-esteem is common in romance books. It’s basically a staple at this point but hers felt excessive. It didn’t feel layered or intentional. It just made her not feel like an actual MFL. Then out of nowhere she’s suddenly super confident? The switch was so random. There was no growth arc, no moments that showed her building that confidence. It just happened, and it didn’t make sense.
I hate DNFing books because I’m always like, “Okay but what if it gets better?” You never know. But I got to 72% and I just could not push through. His “obsession” with her felt so forced. The way he described his feelings sounded like lines copied from every other romance book, but I didn’t believe a single word of it. It felt cringe instead of intense.
And don’t even get me started on the 360 he did once she was leaving. Suddenly he’s in love? Suddenly he can’t live without her? Why though?? There was no reasoning, no moment where you could point to and say, “Oh, that’s when he fell.” It just felt convenient for the plot.
Overall, the whole book felt like a low-budget prduction which is funny since writung has no budget and just your imagination. The same background settings, no real depth, barely any emotional layering. It just felt flat. I really wanted to like it because the trope had so much potential, but it just didn’t deliver for me.🫠

I’ve really enjoyed the Morelli Brothers series so far, and as someone who loves a good novella, this was an easy read. That said, His Little Angel ended up being my least favorite of the series.
I did enjoy the jealousy and possessiveness that’s a staple of these books, but Enzo crossed into territory that didn’t work for me—especially in how hostile he was toward other men in Mila’s life, like Luke. The behavior felt more mean-spirited than protective, and it pulled me out of the romance rather than adding tension.
I’m also not a big fan of workplace romances, so that dynamic didn’t do much for me here, even though it fits the overall series theme. The story was still fast-paced and readable, and fans of obsessive MMCs will likely enjoy it more than I did, but this one just didn’t hit the same highs as the previous installments.
Overall, a solid novella and a decent addition to the series, just not my favorite.

December 21, 2025I rarely ( very rarely) read novellas but I got influenced by watching a few tiktoks about this book. The most disappointing thing is that the things that I watched in those videos are the only things happening in the first 50%. There’s nothing else. Those are the major scenes in the first 50%. The second 50% is just bad smut.
Overall it’s just him realizing he loves her and then trying to bulldoze into her life.
I LOVE possessive men, I love it when they’re obsessive. This guy was acting unhinged in a cringy way.

Adorei como ela se vingou e o tratou da mesma forma fria e rude que ele a tratava durante 3 anos. O único ponto negativo é que tudo aconteceu muito rápido. Recomendo a leitura! É um livro pequeno e lê-se facilmente num dia.

this book was so fucking stupid. Enzo went from avoiding speaking to Mila unless absolutely necessary to literally trashing an entire building after she resigned. no buildup, no nothing. just pure dumbfuckery.
the only scene that made me ugly-laugh was when Enzo admitted that he had STOLEN MILA’S GLASSES and WORE THEM while he jerked off to the thought of her. mind you, this woman literally cannot see without her glasses😭😭
i can’t imagine why someone like Mila would ever be interested in a manchild like Enzo Morelli. all he does is huff and puff all day, scaring his staff members and making everyone’s lives miserable. maybe the Morelli curse has actually cursed the 4 brothers with the ability to suck all the joy and life out of a room. they seem to be scarily good at it.
