A Wonderfully Complicated Medical Drama
I love reading about the incredible women in medicine. Grace Parkes creates superb dramas with very believable women doctors. I loved her development of Eve and Maggie’s relationship and how they learned about each other and sacrificed to be together.

choosing love..
It’s always nice when an author inserts simple truths we tend to forget. We can’t control life, what people think or say about us. That our greatest lessons come from our most difficult experiences. That we should choose happiness.
In case it’s not obvious I really liked this book. Besides the simple truths the story was compelling, and well written.

Unexpected
To living or to surviving. Parker writes of loss and love. The characters are truthfully written to show vulnerability , fear and hope. Despite rumors and meddling, can Maggie and Evie allow bravery and love to lead them ?

another winner
This series addresses many different women with very different needs & expectations. This one dealt with death & love & differences in between in a subdued way which I think is good. 👍🏻

I found this one lacking. Two grown women who are doctors having to stay away from one another at work just seemed like two teenagers being kept away from each other by religious homophobic parents.
