Erin

My return to Bull Creek is only temporary. I’m not getting stuck here, giving up all of my dreams like my mom did. I just need time to recover after my boyfriend nearly kills me.

Reconnecting with my childhood best friend, Whit Mason, is exactly what I need to begin feeling like myself again– even if he joined a motorcycle club and is going by a new name. When we discover I’m being followed, his response is a little over the top. But once he learns my ex left me with a stowaway, he may decide he’s bitten off more than he can chew.

McCoy

It wasn’t until Erin Callahan left for the big city after high school, presumably never to return, that I realized I missed my one chance at happiness. Despite all the ways I’ve thrown myself into the Falcons MC, embracing the brotherhood, there’s still a hole that’s never been filled. So when she returns to Bull Creek, bruised and beaten, I’m willing to dive head first into the black to protect her and keep her from leaving again. Because losing her this time isn’t an option.

I received this as an e-ARC and voluntarily will be giving my honest review.. This is a dark MC romance that will draw you in from the beginning to the end! This was an intense read but loved it and the banter that went along with it!! This is definitely a must read! It is suggested that you read the first books first but you really don’t have too you can follow along well.

This was my first read by Amanda Marquardt and her writing pulled me right into the gritty world of the Falcons MC.

The story follows Erin, who returns to her hometown after escaping a violent relationship that nearly cost her everything. She’s trying to rebuild her life and find some sense of normal again after everything she’s been through.

Coming home also means crossing paths with McCoy, a member of the Falcons Motorcycle Club… and someone Erin has known since they were kids. Their childhood friendship adds a lot of emotional depth to their relationship because there’s already history and trust between them, even though life has taken them in very different directions.

McCoy definitely gives off that protective biker hero energy. He’s loyal to the club, rough around the edges and once he realizes Erin may still be in danger from her past, he doesn’t hesitate to step in and help protect her.

As the story unfolds, it becomes clear Erin’s past isn’t as far behind her as she hoped. Strange things start happening, tension builds and the Falcons MC step in to make sure she isn’t facing it alone. I enjoyed seeing that brotherhood and found-family dynamic within the club and how they rally around their own.

I also appreciated Erin as a character. She’s dealing with trauma and trying to heal, but she’s not written as weak. You really see her trying to take back control of her life while figuring out what she wants for her future.

Overall this one had a really good mix of childhood friends, protective biker hero vibes, emotional healing and suspense and it sets up the Falcons MC world nicely. I’m definitely ready to see more from the Falcons MC series.

I loved Erin and McCoy's story so much. Who doesn't love a second chance, "it's always been you" romance with a motorcycle club thrown in?
I loved Erin and McCoy's chemistry and banter. Even though they were apart for years, their relationship picked right back up. McCoy was so protective and supportive. Erin was strong and fierce.

I signed up for this book because I have an unhealthy obsession with motorcycle club romances. I have been looking for more that draws me in so when I saw this, it sounded good and I knew I had to read it. I definitely know that motorcycle club romances are usually dark romance and will have some heavier topics, which luckily don’t usually affect me. But this one, the author did great at putting everything that might get you. I was a little worried that it might be too heavy of a book, but the way she put everything and things played out, it actually wasn’t bad at all. I was worried it would be nightmare inducing, but it was just enough to have you on the edge of anxiety (not in a bad way). I loved how everything worked together and flowed so well. You got the drama and suspense you want from a dark romance/motorcycle club novel, but not too much that it made me put it down.

Another thing I want to mention before commenting on the characters is that the author recommends a few novels to read before this book to see characters that make appearances, but it isn’t necessary. Of course if you like the characters, go back and see their stories. But if it’s daunting that you have to read 3 books before this one, don’t worry, you really don’t. I didn’t read the others first, but I didn’t really feel lost. Did I like the book enough to WANT to go back and read the others? Yes. But did I feel like I HAD to read them first? No. So do with that as you will. :)

Now for the characters… The FMC and MMC have been friends since 1st grade, which is a huge thing in itself and amazing! But the FMC left town and didn’t talk to the MMC when she was 18, then to come back a few years later after leaving a DV situation. The MMC is one of those guys who’ve been through the ringer and are tough to everyone but her. When she comes back, he acts like no time has been lost and picks up right where they left off with their friendship. He is honest with her about his feelings and refuses to let her go again. But he is loyal and so loving towards her. The FMC is strong when she leaves, but has to come back even stronger. She puts herself first and was able to get away at the first sign of things getting physical. She goes back home and runs into the MMC who is there for her to help her through everything. I was in awe with her strength to actually let him be there and help her because I know that can be hard.

Their story progressed semi quickly but honestly it’s like once they were back together, nothing was getting in the way. The FMC learned that dreams can change and that she can rely on other people without feeling weak. They both got to experience the love and family they deserved from each other, her family, and his MC family.

Thank you Amanda Marquardt for the early copy and I can’t wait to read the next one!!! All opinions are my own.

This was my first time reading Amanda Marquardt, and while this is the first book in the Falcons MC series, I definitely felt like I was missing some context. After finishing, I realized reading The Fallout Duet first probably would have filled in a lot of the Falcon's backstory that felt absent here.

What little we see of McCoy, I really liked. He’s been in love with his childhood best friend Erin for years, but never acted on it. When she left their small town for the city, they stopped speaking for reasons that never fully made sense to me, but I rolled with it. When she returns to their hometown, the boy Erin knew is gone, replaced by a man who is gently possessive and absolutely willing to burn the world down—especially Erin’s ex—to keep her safe. He is a bit of a secret sweetheart, which I absolutely love.

Erin, on the other hand, was harder for me to connect with. I wanted more character consistency from her. She seemed comfortable being Dmitry’s kept woman—living in his apartment and wearing the jewelry and clothes he bought her without working—but later frames staying in Bull Creek and taking a job outside her degree as abandoning her dreams. That contrast didn’t quite land for me.

A lot of that mindset seems tied to the assumptions she makes about her mother’s life. Erin believes her mom “settled” by marrying young and becoming a wife and mother because she once dreamed of acting after doing theater in high school. That belief clearly shapes Erin’s fear of ending up in the same situation. The problem is that the book never actually shows her mother being unhappy with the life she chose—something her mom eventually confirms. Because of that, Erin’s perspective sometimes felt more like projection than reality.

I also struggled with how she treated McCoy at times. She demands complete honesty from him while knowing full well he has obligations to the Falcons that limit what he can share (a point he made very clear before they were together). At one point, she even calls her own behavior childish, and I had to agree—it made those moments difficult to overlook.

That said, I appreciated how the story handled the domestic violence storyline. Erin’s attempts to cooperate with the legal system while also seeking justice outside of it added weight to the story and felt thoughtfully explored.

Please be sure to check the trigger warnings before diving in.

Thank you to the author for providing an advanced reader copy.

An exciting, second chance MC romance!

Erin has just escaped a dangerous relationship that nearly cost her everything so she has come back to her hometown. The first person she runs into on her way back to her parents' house is McCoy, her childhood best friend that she knew as Whit. When he sees her bruised and bloody, he immediately insists on getting her to a doctor and his protective instincts kick into high gear. As she readjusts to small town life, Erin realizes that she is being followed and the motorcycle club that McCoy joined steps up to help and protect her. He's determined to take care of her and keep her safe even if that means crossing lines to take care of her ex. But Erin moved away for a reason and she has to decide if she wants to stay in their small town or if she will walk away again.

Erin and McCoy had such a cute relationship. I loved how they fell back into their banter, but they also started getting to know the people that they each became in their time apart. I loved how McCoy and the Falcons worked to keep DV survivors safe and how they dedicated their time to making sure Erin was protected. I also loved how Erin had to grapple with the fact that she was a victim of DV, but she wasn't portrayed as weak or helpless. She reluctantly accepted help from the MC when they insisted, but largely wanted to continue with her life. The emotions that she had surrounding the relationship were portrayed really well including the shame that so many survivors feel despite holding no fault for their situation. It is recommended that you read a couple other books before this one, but you can definitely still follow everything without that. I am curious to read the other books to get some characters backstories, but it isn't essential. Overall, I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it if you like dark or MC romance.

I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I received an advance copy of this book from the author, and I’m so glad I did. I started this journey a few days ago, fully intending to read it as a standalone. But once I realized there were other books in the Falcons world, I had to pause and go back. I needed the full picture, the backstories, the history, the depth of every character. and I’m so glad I made that decision!

I absolutely love all the characters. While the men of Bull Creek are undeniably dreamy, I couldn’t help but fall in love with every woman in this series, Red included. I love how each of them is strong in her own unique way, facing and overcoming challenges that feel real and relatable. Their personalities are distinct, yet their bond ties them together so beautifully. I genuinely found myself laughing out loud at their friendships. Seriously, where can I find friends like these?
The storytelling was fantastic. There was the perfect amount of spice, balanced with meaningful character development that allowed you to truly get to know everyone. Red and McCoy’s story had a slightly darker edge, and I really enjoyed the change in tone and the glimpse into life on the edge of the law. It added depth and tension that kept me hooked.

So what am I looking forward to next? First, I definitely need more from the MC! I’m especially intrigued by Pete’s story. He’s so lovable and kind, but I have a feeling there’s a darker, kinkier side waiting to be revealed and I can’t wait to see it! I’m rooting for him to find his perfect match.
And let’s not forget yummy daddy James, I need his happily ever after! I’ll also be keeping an eye out for the rest of our Bull Creek crew. I totally need Liv and Shane’s story, and I’m curious to see how Casey gets over his crush on Leah. And of course, I can’t wait to dive into the final part of the trio, Izzy.
Hurry up, Amanda, I’m waiting! :)

This is my first book by Amanda Marquardt and I am definitely going to check out more of her books.

This is book 1 in the Falons MC series. Erin is the FMC. She ran away from her small town because she didn’t want to get stuck there, even though it meant leaving her best friend and family behind to go to school. While she’s away she meets Dimitry and quickly moves in with him. It doesn’t take long before he starts showing how controlling and jealous he is.

A night out at a party with Dimitry and his brother Ilya really shows Erin who Dimitry truly is. His jealousy escalates and he threatens her. When she tries to sneak out and leave him, he ends up attacking her and hitting her repeatedly. She manages to get away and decides to go back home.

Once she’s home she runs into her best friend Whit, the MMC. Whit is now part of a motorcycle club and goes by McCoy. He has been in love with Erin for most of his life, and now that she’s back he decides he’s finally going to take his shot.

I really loved reading about the friendship between Erin and McCoy being rebuilt and watching their relationship grow. The MC group is great with Erin and really helps support her. They help her find friends, get a job, connect her with a lawyer, and get her to a doctor after Dimitry blocked her from getting her contraceptive shot. They also keep an eye on her when they start to suspect someone might be following her.

Part of the MC does some shady business, and eventually that world ends up connecting with Erin’s past. Dimitry’s brother Ilya takes Erin to try to “save” her, but they end up getting taken by Dimitry. He also kidnaps McCoy. There’s a fight for Erin and McCoy to survive, and in the end Ilya chooses to help them instead of his brother.
I can’t wait to read the next book and see where the story goes from here.

Wow! I knew Amanda knew how to write but this book was amazing!

As my first biker romance book, I was in intrigued. This book does take place in the same town as Amanda’s other books, but if you haven’t read them, you won’t be lost. But, I do recommend you read them because they are really great books and I always devour Amanda’s books. Just great reads all the way and this one was just like the others and amazing!

So a biker who is living inn a bit of a grey area. But when his best friend comes back into town after running away from her abusive ex, his live changes. She was the one who got away but this is not how he wanted her back in his life. As you can tell, this book had some heavy themes, but it’s a great read, but read the trigger warnings.

He wants justice and she wants to move on. But things get crazy and why wouldn’t they? But it was captivating and I was excited the whole time to see how things played out Both from the motorcycle club, the love story and the abusive ex that lives by the “If I can’t have you, then no one can”.

So yeah this book was a lot but I was so here for it and I know if you read this you will be too. With this book and all of Amanda’s other books. But this one, this one is the one that might be my favorite that she has written. Like I say with all of her books, I need you to read this because it’s great but also I need someone to talk to about the things in this book!

Untamed completely hooked me from the start!

This book gives us a second chance / childhood best friends story that had me turning pages late into the night. Erin leaves her small town for school determined to never come back and never become like her mom. But when her boyfriend turns abusive, she has no choice but to run… and the only place she feels safe going is home.

Enter McCoy (Whit). He’s had a crush on Erin since they were kids, but she always kept him firmly in the friend zone. When she returns home broken and hurting, McCoy immediately steps up. The way he protects her and makes sure she documents the abuse shows just how much he cares about her and her safety.

McCoy claiming Erin so his motorcycle club will help protect her had me swooning. He shows up for her every single day, proving with his actions that she can trust him and that she’s not alone anymore. Watching Erin slowly start to heal and open her heart to McCoy was so beautiful.

Of course things aren’t that simple… when her ex shows up demanding the club hand Erin over, the tension goes through the roof.

I could not put this book down. It had the perfect mix of emotion, protection, tension, and romance. If you love protective MMCs, childhood best friends, and second chance love, this one is definitely worth the read!

Amanda Marquardt’s Untamed is Book #1 in the Falcons MC series. I feel so honored to receive this book as an ARC reader.

I loved that while this book is its own series it takes off around the same time as the other books that take place in Bull Creek. You can read this as a stand alone but her other books ebooks give introduction and background on some of the other supporting characters.

Untamed revolves around childhood best friends Erin (FMC) and McCoy (MMC). This is a childhood friends to lovers/second chance romance. Erin left her hometown for college and McCoy stayed and in that time they lost touch and both of their lives changed a lot. Erin finds herself in a dangerous relationship that pushes her back home and reluctantly At first to the arms of McCoy. Throughout the book you can see both Erin and McCoy fighting demons as they navigate life. However, McCoy could be the textbook definition of stepping up and if he wanted to he would. They find that their past friendship allows them to pick up where they left off, but life allows them to give in to desires they were afraid to before. Erin finds McCoy will burn the world down for her and the baby she is carrying, without question and so will his entire club.

I cannot wait to see who else comes out of the Falcons MC series. This book was great and I loved that we still were in Bull Creek with that friend group.

𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 – Untamed was such a good read! I couldn’t put it down! Erin’s story is sadly, one that is told too often, and I applaud her for the hardest part of getting out when she did and not letting the domestic violence continue. A very important aspect to highlight in this book is that it only took one instance of DV for Erin to leave. There’s never a justifiable excuse and the relationship should always be over immediately. I understand that that may not always be the safest option for victims, but it should always be the goal. Back to the story, Amanda Marquardt does a phenomenal job at encompassing Erin’s mixed emotions about considering herself a DV survivor. She tackled really hard obstacles in this book and did so with grace.
I have my own personal opinions on best friend to lovers’ tropes and I’ll admit, I don’t think it’s my favorite. It almost feels like a sibling taboo, in a way. But that’s just my personal opinion and has no bearing on how this book was written. McCoy and Erin’s love story was endearing and had so much personality. They are a cute couple and I’m glad they found their way back to each other. And McCoy is such a standup guy for stepping up to the challenge he and Erin are left to face because of her abusive ex.

“You need a review of what it actually looks like when someone cares for you. So I’m here to remind you.”

It was so much fun being back in Bull Creek, TX and getting to get a closer look into the Falcons and what they're all about.

I loved the fact that Erin was able to get out before things got worse for her. I've also come to the conclusion that I love the "not his baby" trope. Especially when, like in this case, they are all in no questions asked from the moment they find out. I absolutely loved McCoy and the love he had for Erin and their baby. The way he would always be the first to do what was needed to protect her, even if that meant breaking the law, was everything. And the moment thatbErin's ex got what was coming for him... I haven't smiled bigger than I did at that moment in a while.

Quote: “I don’t care that the baby you’re carrying isn’t biologically mine. I’m not backing down on this. I told you at the club: You are mine. I told you at my place: There is no going back. I fully expect you’re going to give me a headache and a hard-on every single day, but you’re it for me.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely loved Untamed (Falcons MC) by Amanda Marquardt. The writing flows so smoothly—it’s engaging and completely addictive right from the start. This was my second visit to Bull Creek, and it did not disappoint. It hit the spot perfectly.

Erin and McCoy were everything. Childhood friends who’ve been out of touch for four years since Erin left for college, their history adds so much depth to their story. McCoy has always been madly in love with Erin but never found the courage to say it, and honestly—he stole my heart. He’s such a softie when it comes to her, completely devoted, with that intense “touch her and you’re done” energy that I love in a book boyfriend.

Erin, on the other hand, is fiercely independent and a bit stubborn. She’s convinced that small-town life will trap her, and I really enjoyed seeing that internal conflict play out. Their dynamic felt real, emotional, and so satisfying.

The side characters—family and friends—add so much richness to the story and really bring Bull Creek to life. I’m already excited for the next instalment in the series.

Thank you for the ARC

I received an arc copy of this book and this is my honest review of this book.
the beginning of the book is rough, hard to read if you don’t read the trigger warnings (highly suggest!) but very important to the story. Erin is in a relationship with Dmitry who is a very insecure and threatening man. After a night at a birthday party he gets upset and there’s problems. This leads to Erin leaving and going home where she runs head first into McCoy. From the beginning of them meeting you can tell he’s got feelings for Erin and is very protective of her. Childhood best friends reunited at the best possible time for her to have someone she can trust right next to her. Only problem? He’s in a motorcycle club and she’s not all too comfortable with that idea… until she has to be. Now when I tell you I’m a sucker for the draaaama. I mean that! This book brought it. The ending was so good also and I loved getting the opportunity to have an arc for this book. I hope to read more books about these characters

I really enjoyed this book, the main female character we left the small town because she didn't think that that's what she wanted in her life. she went off she went to college she met this guy that just showered her with gifts and she thought was amazing moved in with him and then he just started getting more possessive and it just really went down a bad road of domestic violence. she leaves and goes back to her small town where she reconnects with her best childhood friend who is now part of a motorcycle club who helps raise money for charities one of which is for DV survivors. they have a little bit of under the table illegal stuff going on but what motorcycle club doesn't right. you get to see a little bit of the court process and honestly the Injustice that I think a lot of domestic violence victims and I say victims lightly because if they left they're not victims but that tends to be how they're normally referred to. I would highly recommend reading this book though I really enjoyed the plot as a whole and the romance aspect of it was awesome as well.

This book had me pulled in and locked. this is one of the few books that I was able to start piecing things together, writing notes in the margin. Everything just moved so effortlessly.

The story has a rough beginning with our FMC finding herself in a very tough situation that she never saw herself being in that causes her to run back home to the very place she never wanted to return.

Our MMC is a tall, dark, morally grey biker, who was crushed when her f m c left and this trying to pull her back in when he finds her back home. he is not a boy, she left, but a grown man who is willing to finally act on his desires to show her how much he wants her.

When his new life and her old one collide this morally grey biker proves he is willing to risk it all, his life included, to show her what she means to him.

This book was so worth the read, do yourself a favor add it to your TBR and enjoy the ride. Because this is a great beginning to the series. And I cannot wait for the next set of books.

Amanda Marquardt is a new author to me and instantly earned a follow from me for this book! Erin and Whit were best friends until Erin runs from small town life worrying she'll be trapped there like she thinks her mom is. Years later, Erin returns to the small town she left behind, running from an abusive relationship. When she sees Whit again, the boy she knew still wants to protect her and care for her, but he is now known as McCoy a member of Falcon MC. And he won't let her run again without her knowing how he's always felt about her! This time McCoy is holding on and he will do anything to protect her when the danger shows up today n their small town! Loved the banter and how the MC came together to protect Erin. McCoy didn't hesitate for a second to pick right back up where they were when she left only this time he's taking their relationship to the next level and helping her see that she can have her dreams and the man and still be at home in the small town she once considered a trap! Can't wait to read more about the Falcon MC!

Thank you Amanda for this ARC opportunity.

This was my first time reading something by Amanda Marquardt & it definitely won't be my last!

Untamed follows Erin on her journey of leaving a DV situation, returning back to her home town of Bull Creek for what she believes is temporary but she doesn't expect to cross paths with her childhood best friend, McCoy. Erin learns what her ex Dmitry is capable of at a fancy party, he swoons her with extravagant events, gifts, money, all things she wasn't used to growing up a sheriffs daughter in a small town. Once Erin gets away, she realizes how close she came to being unalived by Dmitry. Erin comes into contact with childhood friend McCoy (whit), who is apart of a motorcycle club in her hometown & when he learns of what happened he jumps in to protect her like his life depends on it.

I really enjoyed this story, this was my first book where the MC was apart of a MC club that also fought against DV and made it their mission to help battered women and survivors of DV. I would have liked to get to know Erin's background a bit more, but this was a great story and I look forward to reading more of Amanda's work.

Note - I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for honest review.

Ya’ll when I say I’m not normally a MC book girl, I mean it. But damn if Amanda didn’t convert me.

I don’t even know where to start here so I guess I’ll start with a brief overview?

Erin and Dmitri are introduced to us and from the moment Erin begins describing her relationship, I was screaming RUN!
He gives all the red flags 🚩 and she sees them for what they are. Erin takes a brave step to leave the relationship and unfortunately Dmitri won’t let go. After a rough interaction, Erin makes it home and finds herself rekindling an old friendship with Whit. Immediately she realizes things have changed with Whit, for starters he prefers to be called McCoy. You’ll have to read the book to find out how things play out but prepare yourself with a box of tissues and maybe a stress ball?

I loved how the book paced, the interaction between the characters and how the MC was just portrayed as a bunch of delinquent riders.

Untamed is a gritty second-chance romance layered with danger, emotional baggage, and small-town history that refuses to stay buried.

Erin couldn’t wait to escape her small Texas hometown — and being the sheriff’s daughter only made her feel more trapped. Leaving after graduation meant chasing independence, but it also meant leaving behind her best friend, Whit, and the life she once knew. Years later, when circumstances force her to return home, she’s not the same girl who left — and neither is Whit, now known as McCoy.

Their reunion is tense, emotional, and filled with unresolved hurt. Add in complicated loyalties, a dangerous undercurrent surrounding Erin’s past, and the intensity of a motorcycle club dynamic, and the stakes rise quickly. The story balances suspense with romance, exploring themes of control, trust, and reclaiming your voice after it’s been taken from you.

If you like protective heroes, emotionally scarred but resilient heroines, found-family vibes, and second-chance love wrapped in a darker edge, Untamed delivers an intense and satisfying ride.

Just finished reading Untamed and I didn’t want it to end. I wanted the story to continue to see where Whit/McCoy and Erin go next. I think I would always call him Whit though. I would think the Real McCoy all the time. Read your triggers, this does include domestic violence. Never thought I liked motorcycle romance but this one turned me around to the brotherhood. It has so many familiarities of my small town growing up so that helps with the relatability factor. Piercings are the new buzz and intrigue me, where do I find me one of those men, lol. The way she describes those encounters, we all need that. Guess you will have to read it to understand what I mean. Lastly, we have to have a bad boy and that’s Dimitry, the Russian. If you like him by the end, then something’s wrong. This will keep you on your feet right up to the end with all the twist and curves. Ready to see what is next in Bull Creek.

She does not disappoint

In this book you meet Erin the FMC and McCoy the MMC they have been friends for years

McCoy is in a biker gang who help raise money for ALS and Domestic violence victims through poker tournaments, they have an illegal side business as well which you find out later on in the book

Erin is living in Dallas with her Russian Boyfriend who has become over possessive and controlling and one of night it comes to a head and he beats her so badly
She drives back home where McCoy sees what has happened

He is very much touch her and Die and he seeks revenge for her, this book had me gripped and I lived every second of it I hated Dimitri the Russian Bf

My heart broke, I smiled , I got excited and don’t let me forget the spice between Erin and McCoy is hot

Go get this book you will love it if you like touch her and die and biker romance

I loved this book. Like all the other books I’ve read by Amanda Marquardt, I was hooked from the very first chapter.

You get little glimpses of The Falcons Motorcycle Club in some of her other books, but in this one you really feel like you’re part of the family. The way the club is written pulls you right into their world.

Erin is such a strong female main character. I love that she doesn’t take crap from anyone and stands her ground no matter what.

McCoy (Whit)… I don’t even know where to start with him. He’s been in love with Erin since elementary school and has basically just been waiting for his chance with her. He’s such a likable character and will do whatever it takes to protect the people he loves.

I actually teared up around the 94% mark of the book. It’s crazy how right in the middle of all the action coming to a head, you see these tough bikers who are actually the biggest teddy bears. Tank pulling Erin away from everything in that moment was just the sweetest.

It's a good book. I liked it. I love how McCoy was all in. That man would do anything for Erin. Before reading please check your triggers! If you love small towns, childhood friends to lovers, mc romance, then you might like this book.

Erin is going back to her hometown because of an altercation with her now ex. She never wanted to be stuck in her small town, but here she is. Back where she started. She only plans to stay long enough to get her feet under her and then go from there, except life has a different plan for her. She runs into McCoy. They were best friends and there had always been an attraction there but neither made any moves. Until now.
McCoy thought he'd never see Erin again, but here she is. Back in their hometown. He's so happy to see her, but he knows something is wrong. She looks like she's gone a few rounds with someone. When he finds out what happened, he vows to make them pay. No matter the cost, because Erin is his, and he'll do anything to keep her safe.

This small town motorcycle romance is everything you'd expect and more with a splash of action, a dash of spice and a pinch of revenge.

McCoy is our morally grey MMC, a man who will stop at nothing to keep Erin now that life has given him an unexpected second chance at his highschool sweetheart crush.

Erin is our fierce FMC who ignored a few red flags which led her to be in an unfortunate situation that requires McCoy's help to keep herself, and her surprise baby, safe.

What to expect:

🩷 Small Town Romance

🩶 Motorcycle Club Brotherhood

🩷 Second Chance Love

While these characters have been in other books by Amanda, this book does amazing at being a stand alone. Gives plenty to allow you to fall in love or hate with the characters. I also love the glossary in the back to explain certain terms used and translation of the Russian and Irish.

I thoroughly enjoyed the banter and connection of Erin and McCoy. Growing up with bikers, I felt this book gave a great representation of the better side (better clubs) of the biker life.

The story keeps you hooked throughout it's entirety. All the events that occur and the gentle foreshadowing keep you wanting to know how it plays out.

I am particularly in love with Erin. She is such a strong female character. She shows more strength with her emotions and how she handles them. With everything that she goes through, and still holds her head up, is just incredible.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. MC books are not generally my thing, but the few I have read have been wonderful. I love the connection between Erin and McCoy. Having been friends since they were kids, it was relatively easy for them to fall back into their friendship. It is sweet that their friendship has evolved. The writing is excellent. The story is well developed and I didn’t feel there was any holes in the story that would draw my attention. I felt the main characters had depth, although I would have liked to know more about Whit’s childhood. I wish that he let her continue to call him Whit, it would have made more sense, to me anyway. I was not a fan of McCoy as his name, although I can appreciate why he had an affinity for it. Overall, great book, engaging story, funny at times and worth your time!

If you like possessive men and mc romances, this is the book for you! Erin and Whit get their second chance at love and boy it is a spicy, intense one.

Whit McCoy is far from the boy that Erin used to know. When Erin returns home with bruises and scars embedded in her heart, Whit swears up and down to protect her at all costs. The lengths and extremes that this man goes through had my heart in a chokehold. He puts his life and his allegiance to the club on the line to make sure Erin is safe. There was no confusion about what this man desired.

Erin returns home after escaping an abusive situation all to run into her childhood best friend Whit McCoy. Only to find out, Whit is now rough around the edges and trouble with a capital T. When her safety is threatened, these two are pushed back together in the most intense and heated way. The banter and tension between these two

Untamed follows Erin as she escapes an abusive relationship and returns to her small hometown of Bull Creek, Texas to rebuild her life. There she reconnects with her childhood best friend, Whit “McCoy,” now a member of the Falcons MC. As Erin begins the difficult process of protecting herself legally and emotionally, old feelings resurface and McCoy makes it clear he’s ready to protect her at all costs — especially once they learn she’s pregnant.

What starts as a second-chance romance quickly turns into a tense standoff when her ex refuses to let her go. With the Falcons MC stepping in and secrets unraveling about Erin’s past relationship, the story becomes a mix of suspense, protection, and healing. Overall, this was a fast-paced MC romance with strong protective hero energy and a satisfying HEA.
