The Breaking Point of Love: A Heartbreaking Divorce Romance with Passion and Betrayal

Rate this book
Seven years of marriage. One betrayal that shatters everything.

Celeste Rodriguez spent seven years loving a man who never loved her back.

Married to the cold and distant Trevor Fleming, she endured a lonely marriage with quiet grace, believing that patience and devotion could someday melt his heart. She smiled through neglect, excused his indifference, and held onto hope—until Trevor fell in love with another woman at first sight and gave her the tenderness Celeste had never known.

Still, Celeste endured… until her birthday.

Flying abroad to reunite with her husband and their daughter, Jordyn, Celeste expects at least one day to feel like she matters. Instead, Trevor brings Jordyn to meet the woman he truly loves—leaving Celeste alone, forgotten, and humiliated. When even her own daughter wants another woman to replace her as mother, Celeste finally reaches her breaking point.

She chooses herself.

Celeste files for divorce.
She gives up custody.
And she walks away without looking back.

Returning to the workplace, Celeste rebuilds her life from the ground up—gaining wealth, confidence, and power that shocks everyone who once looked down on her. The weak wife they dismissed becomes a woman no one can ignore.

But just as Celeste waits for her divorce certificate, something goes wrong.

The papers never arrive.
Trevor starts coming home.
And the man who once treated her like nothing suddenly refuses to let her go.

When Trevor learns she wants a divorce, his cold composure finally shatters. Pinning her to the wall, his voice turns dark and desperate.

A divorce? That’s not happening.”

The Breaking Point of Love is a gripping, emotionally charged romance about betrayal, regret, divorce, and female empowerment—where a woman finally walks away, and the man who broke her realizes too late what he’s about to lose.

Book 7. This is endless.

Someone reviewed book 1 and said it’s from the goodnovel app, and it’s longer there. Glad this is KU because this is going nowhere.

Not recommended at all. This is one of those endless books that scam you into buying it, instead of just writing the darn thing and splitting it into only two or three novels. This is, frankly, ridiculous and so badly written that it should be regarded as unnecessary.

Five Stars for Storyline

This story is riveting! I am an avid reader. I don't think I've ever yelled at the characters of a story, ever! I really don't like Wynn, her father, the rest of the ignorant people, & the biggest ass is Trevor!

I can usually see each characters side & understand why they do what they do. Well, unless it's the big bad wolf, then I just root for the good guys! I'm yelling, cussing at them, WOW!!

I commented before about the Editing & the fact that names, places are wrong & I need to go over it to figure out who is the focus. In this the names of places, businesses, etc are all wrong. As I said before it's kinda funny, I think that AI may have written some of the Series! It's wild!

On a positive note, I'm excited that Celeste is out finally about just how smart she is. It's totally pissing little bitch sister Wynn off! They all think that Celeste is some conniving person who lies & tricked Trevor to get married. I'm so happy the divorce will be final soon! Celeste, Matthias & Yoda Vision are going to kick Flemming's ASS!!

Enjoy. The story really is worth it!

?*3

So i.really think they someone should be telling jo why mum isn't coming home anymore a bit confused by the fact that one minute.they are all talking about hi-tech Ai program 's and the next implying that the fact that Cel is somehow less than everyone else because of the break up of her marriage n the fact she has a kid like it's a crime, but no one seems to care about the history between her n her sister and all the things the locket family has done. Talk about double standards much I wonder if they would still be so stuck up if the world knew the truth. Still not sure where this is going but someone needs to punch the Husband hard. But to invested now so will read on.

How long will this go on?

I’m tired of this book. I don’t usually get too hung up on editing mistakes by self published authors (I’m just assuming she is), because generally it’s not that extensive. However, I can’t understand how you could write a book and not proof it even a little. It’s one thing to change the name of a town from Baumond to Balmond, but when that town then becomes Zootopia I really can’t understand how you couldn’t catch that. Or when the business name goes from YodaVision to YouVision to Davison.....really!?

I genuinely wanted to know how this story ended, but there is no way I’m waiting for another “book” to come out. I do hope that this author gets it together and rewrites this story as a genuine book that has been thoroughly edited. Maybe try beta readers or something. Best of luck to you Christy.

Story still dragging...

I had high hopes after re-reading the newly edited Book 6 that this Book 7 would be the wrap up... I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, the story is finally advancing and the mean, bitter, snotty and scheming people are finally getting a little comeuppance, but my goodness we are 7 books in! I hope that the upcoming Book 8 wraps this up. I am way too invested to not finish the series but I'm so irritated as I read because the story is dragging. Edits are still not the greatest either but way better than the initial books.

reads flat- characters actions make no sense.

I actually kept reading this hoping it would get better. It did not. Much of it did not make sense. We never find out if celeste got the ring and why would she accept it? Her husband flaunts his affair and is cruel to her. Although she finally asks for a divorce she never holds him accountable. His change in affection is not explained. And her daughter treats her terribly preferring her father’s mistress. Then the next page she wants her mother.

Hope Celeste gets to FILE for divorce so Wynn is EXPOSED!

One cannot help despising Trevor, Wynn and her family, for hiding Wynn's illegitimacy and elevating her above her true social status. I rather abhor the man, actually, because the scum in this situation isn't Celeste, but Wynn. I LOL every time she used to sneer at or give Celeste cold, withering looks. Does Trevor even know the real situation with Celeste's father or has he been lied to?

At least I don't have to spend much on this... Still, I give it four stars. Too many typos, though.

What happened, how does it just stop

How does an author stop a book in the middle of a chapter. They didn't even finish the last scene of the story and now it says online that there's no release date for the next book. Really pissed I started this and it's not even a complete seies. Noone wants to wait months to finish a book. Cuz clearly this book is split into sections so people will spend more money.

I am pretty sure I started this on one of those pay per chapter reading apps, so finding it on Kindle Unlimited was a nice surprise. It is very much a drama driven romance, and it leans hard into drawn out tension.

The biggest theme is miscommunication. So much of the conflict could be solved if the characters simply talked honestly or made a clean break. Instead, the story stretches that uncertainty for a long time, which can be frustrating even though it fits the melodramatic tone the book is going for.

If you enjoy slow burn relationship drama where emotions spiral because no one says what they really mean, this will probably work for you. Just go in expecting a lot of tension that could have been avoided with one serious conversation.

very poorly written ignores abuse

You like a story about a woman who is totally mentally abused by her husband who cheats on her publicly and a proud of a kid who loves the mistress more than a mom this book be right up your read list.
I prefer my heroin to keep taking abuse and forgiving her abuser someone who trashes her but then once she proves she a successful career woman and has a brain in her head he decides he wants her back and she goes back

Series will barely advance.

Almost nothing got done in this volume. I know the author would have us hang on and on, but it's getting worse and more drawn out. The husband has started to see his wife as someone with a marketable brain now, but we didn't need the whole volume for that.

How many books are in this series?

How many more books are to follow? This is the 7th one and I just want to know when it comes to an end.
The story has dragged on long enough. Patience are wearing thin in Mississippi.

I’m ready for the next book.

I’m hoping this will be the last the last book and wrap all the loose ends. I really want the Shaw family to get what coming to them and people to know Trevor and Celeste are married.

glad I didn’t purchase

I normally do not leave bad reviews but this just ended with no true conclusion in sight. 7 books? Really? Go back re-edit down to 1 book. Too much filler is unnecessary, can’t believe I read this idiotic mess!

No Progress…

I’m only still reading because I’m invested in the story now, but the story hasn’t progressed at all, the last 4 books nothing but the same thing has happened. I’m just reading for some closure at this point.

Don't waste time reading all these books

Dragged out way to long. There is nothing to keep the interest. You could of put these 7 books into 2 and would not have missed a thing.

It was a good read, but 7 books later, 1000 of characters, it’s no longer interesting. Time to move on

The breaking ointment of Love

I really enjoyed the book. It’s good, but I hate that it’s been spread out this long. I hope the book 8 is the end of it.

ok

I’m not the kind of person to be intentionally rude or mean so please know I truly tried to explain my rating as best as I could . There are so many misspellings and grammar. Some of the names are not even correct. I feel like the author rushed to pump this book out. And her proofreaders did not help her one bit . I’m not the best speller by any means but for an author to have so many mistakes is not good. The story is being dragged out too much . The repetitive arguments and the way the two main characters interact is cringe worthy. They always answer everything with an “hmmm” instead of words. It’s like Celeste and Trevor do not know how to talk . And how does everyone else figure out that Celeste is the one that invented Cupa if I didn’t spell that correctly sorry . But how did Trevor not put it together. And I never wanted to reach through my kindle to slap Wynn and her dumb as hell family. They argue over and over again about the same thing. This whole book would be amazing if she would have took her time to write this . 2 books would have been enough. All other books are not necessary. It just repeats itself over and over again. I really hope that after all this we at least get a HEA ending hopefully with Beck since he is the only one giving her space. Or if it’s god do I say with Trevor then at least make him publicly apologize to her for being a jerk . But I really want her with Beck . Team Beck all the way . Also would love Celeste mom to recover and give her EX and his witch of a wife there just dessert . Karma needs to pound on their door . I truly believe that this author can do very well if she just takes her time and definitely don’t drag it out .
