The Runaway Pumpkin: A Halloween Adventure Story

Rate this book
A cute little Halloween pumpkin announces that he is ready for a Halloween adventure. So he prepares to set out on the exploration of a lifetime. However, his ever watchful and caring mother wants to make sure he’s prepared before he takes that first step outside.

The little pumpkin will begin his adventure on a witch’s broom, where he will fly through the skies. Next, he’ll dare to venture through the very spookiest haunted house. And to celebrate the night, he’ll dance to the “Monster Mash”! It’s scary out there on Halloween night, but his mother is packing a parachute just in case he falls, a blankie for reassurance, and his favorite monster shoes so he can boogie-woogie all night long. Whatever adventures he has, he is sure to be prepared. Halloween isn’t so scary when you have a mother pumpkin making sure you’re ready for whatever frights might come your way!

The baby pumpkin wants to have lots of adventures. His mom encourages and supports him as he explores the world. She provides needed supplies. Encourage the readers to search for her on every adventure as she's hiding somewhere in the background watching over him as he explores. At the end, he asks her to come along so they can adventure together.

A little pumpkin plans a Halloween adventure - with multiple activities including visiting other pumpkins in a pumpkin patch, a hayride, a party, trick-or-treating etc... and each time his mom offers to try and help him. It's a cute mom & kid pumpkin love story while also being a classic Halloween story.

So Cute!

This is such a cute story about a little pumpkin telling his mother all the things he’ll do to celebrate Halloween. It talks about contest, hayride, trip to another pumpkin patch and trick or treating.

This is such a cute little pumpkin. I think anyone that enjoys Halloween will enjoy this. If you have little ones, this is for them.

I read this book online. It had cute illustrations. The little pumpkin wanted to go explore Halloween all by himself. The mom asked where he was going, and with each new place, the mom told her little pumpkin the things she would have to get together for him to take. In the end the little pumpkin says, since his mom had showed so much interest, she should go with him. A cute book for small children.
