Boy howdy, was I ever wrong about who the blackmailer was! I think that the resolution to a 'who-done-it' needs to be someone who has an active role in the story. Having someone appear at the end who was never mentioned, let alone even thought about, is just cruel to the reader. I feel cheated out of the opportunity to see if my guess was even close to right. No, it wasn't, but I never had an opportunity to consider the person who actually did the blackmailing because that person wasn't a part of the story until he showed up...out of the blue. For someone who is integral to the plot of Austin and Deena's story, I find myself frustrated as I finish reading the book. Yes, the book is good as are the characters but not introducing L earlier in the story in SOME way has taken away my complete satisfaction with the story as a whole.
Lady Deena & the Duke,Austin, have been friends for years.. and they both carry secrets binding them to each other with their trust. Someone has some explaining to do When articles announce false accusations at the Duke & he hasn’t long to wait until they show up! A Great Read!!
