Purr-fectly Unexpected was my very first Rom-Com read, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I absolutely adored the characters and found myself pulled right into the story. The balance between the struggles of developers and property owners, all while a sweet romance begins to blossom, made for such an entertaining and heartfelt read.I will admit, I expected a bit more laugh‑out‑loud comedy, so for me it leaned a little more toward a cozy romance, but that’s not a bad thing! It was warm, charming, and full of personality. And Sir Ron… what a character! He adds such a delightful twist to the story, even if he did remind me why I don’t own cats, they simply can’t be trusted!Overall, this was a fantastic first Rom‑Com experience, and I can’t wait to pick up more books by the women behind Four Between the Sheets.

I received this as an advanced copy and have loved every word on these pages. It was the kind of romantic comedy that is good for your soul. I have laughed out loud for the few days I have been reading it. I know the MMC is supposed to be Graham, our beefy businessman come to ruin Lyric's life, however, his royal dickness, Sir Ronald Fluffington Perlman the Third TOTES stole the role for me as MMC. HEHE
this book has all the things we look for in a book- cute banter, a fun plot, romance, adorable supporting characters and spice oh so nice. it def hits thr ground running in terms of the insta-love. but it is so cute I wasn't bothered with it. 10-10 recommend this read

it’s a quick and cozy rom-com vibe with insta-heat and spice! Swipe right for grumpy cat daddy applications! It’s a good time.
Sir Ron stole my heart (serious mom over here) and Lyric reads a lot older than she is (28 but sounds like 35+)
Looks like these will be interconnected stand-alones 😁 this felt more than just a bit unfinished.

I went into this expecting cute.
What I got?
Flirty. Filthy. Funny. And way more real-life grown-up chaos than I was prepared for.
This wasn’t just a rom-com it was adulting with tension. Bills, baggage, banter…
I was kicking my feet one minute and fanning myself the next.
The chemistry? Immediate.
The tension? Delicious.
The spice? Sneaks up on you… then absolutely does not apologize.
What I loved most though? Under the laughs and heat, there was Real conversations. Real mess. Real connection.
But let’s circle back to the important part…
Who knew graham crackers could be so sinfully creative? 👀🔥
Sweet, sharp, grown, and just dirty enough to make you grin like an idiot while reading in public. No notes. Pass the snacks.

This book is 5 stars for so so many reasons! Sir Ron … immediate 5 stars. This was my first rom-com read and I absolutely loved it! I knew right away this was going to be a favorite. I found myself smiling and laughing, and just feeling giddy about the story and banter of Lyric and Graham, and all of the situations they end up in together. I was not ready for this book to end! And I am BEGGING for a story of Onyx and Hudson!
This is my second read from these authors and both reads have been AMAZING. I cannot wait to continue down my journey with their future books!

I received an advance reader copy of this book, and I fell in love from the very first sentence. It hooked me immediately and honestly, it never let go. I read it all in one day! lol
The snarky FMC and equally sharp MMC had me grinning from page one. Their banter is top-tier: witty, fast, and packed with just the right amount of tension. You can feel the chemistry simmering beneath every exchange, and it makes the build incredibly satisfying.
This is such a cute rom-com, but it also delivers on emotional depth. The tension is delicious, the pacing keeps you turning pages, and the spice? Purr-Fectly placed and meaningful. It doesn’t just exist for the sake of it- it deepens the connection and somehow makes you fall even harder for the MMC.
And I have to talk about the real scene stealer: the FMC’s moody, attitude-filled cat. I absolutely fell in love with that sassy little furball. As a cat lover myself, the added feline personality made the story that much more enjoyable. The cat brought so much humor and charm to the pages it honestly felt like an extra main character at times.
I especially loved how the characters felt layered and real. Their growth throughout the story made the romance even more rewarding, and watching them navigate their feelings (with all the other stress) was pure joy.

This was an ARC read and let me tell you I ate this up!!!! I wish every woman could be Lyric!!! She is carefree outspoken and just grabs life by the balls and goes with it!!! The way she fights tooth and nail for what she loves is a beautiful thing!!! Her family/friend tight group is beautiful and soooooo relatable in some day to day life events. And our boy out broody golden retriever Graham. Now ladies these authors did not dis appoint. But the fact he is able to just be himself is *chef’s kiss* with Lyric.
Buckle up this is a great feel good rom-com. And the best is Ronnie!!! Now that is my favorite character in this book as well as Mikey!!!!
Loved it worth the read!!! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!!!

I received an advanced readers copy of this book and absolutely fell in love. This is the best Rom-Com I have ever read with so much emotional depth! I was hooked from the very first page. The FMC Lyric aka Bubbles is so real and relatable. While struggling to keep her bookstore open she decides to try out a dating app. Enters our MMC Graham aka Cracker. IYKYK lol. Graham is tired of the same old same old. He wants someone real with an actual connection, not some superficial runway model. Lyric and Graham end up matching. From the very first interaction there is a spark. The chemistry is so tangible it jumps off the pages. The banter and wit between them is absolutely top notch. I laughed so hard throughout this book that my sides hurt. Let's not forget to mention Lyric's main coon cat, Sir Ron who seriously has main character energy. Sir Ron with his fabulous grumpy self steals the show in every scene. He has just as much sass as Lyric if not more. Not only did I fall in love with the main characters but the supporting characters shine just as bright. This story was Purr-fectly written. It has everything you could possibly want. I was so immersed that I finished it in one day. I'm dying for another installment to this world! Highly recommend.

Normally I’m not into rom-coms simply because Lyric and myself had the same outlook on love & how hard it is these days to find a good partner. It’s like the authors burrowed into my soul and regurgitated my personality onto the page. Lyric is funky, spunky and all things chunky (in the best way, respectfully) & Graham… ma’am if only men were this authentic in real life, maybe women wouldn’t be so bitchy irl😂 This is the kind of rom-com I can vibe with. Just the right amount of humor that makes the characters relatable & not so “overly perfect” that most rom-coms are like out there.
Now for the real show stealer…Sir Ronald fluffington the maine coon cat. The amount of sass coming out that ass actually turned this strictly dog lover into a feline admirer (from a far). Because let’s be real, pretty much all cats are demons & fluffy-pants over here is no exception 😂

I received this book as an ARC read and this is my honest review. I had no idea how much I needed this sweet and happy romance book until I read it. As someone who's been deep in the dark romance world as of late this book was the breath of fresh air that I needed. Sir Ron is the most comical meatball you will every want to snuggle. The sarcasm between two people falling for each other reminded me so much of me and my husband that I had a smile on my face the entire time I read this book.
If you are looking for a more contemporary romance with just a tad bit of the spice Lyric and Grahams story is the book for you. Fall in in love with the chaos. This book will leave you grinning like a teenager I swear I gushed in every chapter cheering for these two to come together and for Sir Ron to embrace the family forming around his antics.

This book will have you laughing all throughout ! I don't think there was a chapter that I read that I did not laugh. It had good comedic banter between the main characters! The special per cat that really enhances the story! If your looking for your next good rom-com you found it!

Sir Ron is my favorite—oh, such a character! I am not normally a rom-com book girl, but this one was very enjoyable. I have had the pleasure of reading two books from these lovely authors and have not been disappointed yet! There is banter, emotion, spice, and so much humor. Lyric has such a big personality, and her loud bookstore and things change when she meets Graham. Their connection blossoms into something full of love and spice. So excited to continue the story with Onyx (fingers crossed)! I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for something sweet with spice and a wild cat.

3.75⭐️ This book was given to me as a ARC here is my honest and Voluntarily review. I enjoyed this book so much it had me laughing 😆 this book was what I need it after a dark book 📕. Lyric and Graham chemistry was everything and the 🌶️🌶️ spice was intense. The emotional moments were balanced beautifully with humor . I don’t know which part I enjoyed more. Sir Ron may be a Maine Coon, but he sure did try hard to steal the show. Lyric knows what she wants, and she doesn’t back down and Graham fights to give her exactly what she wants so he can have her. You will laugh and kick your feet so much reading this. Top 3 Romcoms ever.

This book has probably became one of my favorite rom-coms that are out there. I love the characters and the story line. The characters and the story line is purrfect. Hehe see what I did there? But most importantly the main character that stole the show is Sir Ron. I love him so much. I need like 20 of him.

this was so freaking adorable! I'm not usually a rom com girlie but this is so much more! spice is SPICY! and Mr Graham takes care of his girl like he should! banter was fantastic and the whole monsters Inc thing was so cute! a short and super fun read!

I received this as an advanced copy and have loved every word. This was an easy 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️read. It was a romantic comedy that was good for my soul. The banter was spot on and I loved Sir Ron. The book had instant spice and romance. It had the chemistry and the spice it was purrfect.
