So the third instalment of the April Almighty series! Another brilliant short from Tim Miller that carries straight on from where book 2 left off. A lot less gore than the previous two but nonetheless a brilliant story. We already know Mr Miller is not just a gorehound but also a very talented story writer gripping you from page one as evidenced in previous works, for example the hand of God series. All in all a great read and deserves every star!!
In loving this halogen series. April is one badass that loves the brutally she inflicts. So much horror of different types that keeps you entertained. Clowns were freaky but now it's evil professors researching bodies and april with Isis going out for revenge. The storyline is brilliant such description and way with words along with great characters that stand out. There is everything to keep you hooked. Mr Miller has a fantastic imagination and creativity that just amazes me and screams read me, you won't be disappointed. And I haven't yet.. I'm off to see what's next for April and for her mind gripping ways. Give it a read its one crazy ride with Mr Miller.
Whatever might have been missing in April Almighty #2, can be found in here. This series of books just keeps changing its course. We've gone from a crazy family, to crazy clowns, to a crazy corporation.. and man, the kill count in these pages is off the scale. Tim has notched the violence up to eleven.
These girls are the tag team from hell! This book takes the April series to another level; there's betrayal, revenge, and tons o' violence! Highly recommend to any modern horror fan. On to the next one!
Another good gory journey with April who now has a new pal, Isis. This time the villain is a rich financier and his research institute. I look forward to the fourth in this series.
