5⭐️ ~ I’m so so so happy Rachel wrote this because I NEEDED the Las Vegas scene from Ilya’s POV. I always doubted that Ilya was the one in control, but this solidified it. He’s SO down bad for Shane and I love it.

Who knew that this short little alternative chapter would've left my heart so sore. I'm glad Rachel wrote and released this on her website though, it adds so much to the original Las Vegas scene. The initial impression you get from Ilya's side in the book is that of indifference and coldness. You can tell there's something more there, but it's hard to fully grasp his emotions in that moment. You get caught up in Shane's feelings of disappointment.

But here, you understand all of the painful conflicting feelings surging through Ilya's mind and heart, he was already down bad for Shane, and it broke my heart.

A deleted scene from Ilya's POV that contextualizes the infamous night in Las Vegas. It's short, sweet, and adds an extra level of intimacy to Ilya character that I didn't know I needed.

As if I couldn't love Ilya more?! The guy clearly needs a hug.
