Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
More uncettain but still a great addition to the Thornberg Restaurant series
Meryl has inherited Pine Cabin outside of Bear Creek and plans to fix it up quickly and sell it. Spencer finds her there and offers to help her, knowing that she is his mate and hoping to convince her to stay. But Meryl has spent her life moving from place to place, always leaving before it gets too comfortable. Pine Cabin needs a lot of work. While working together on it, Meryl and Spencer become close. But are they close in for her to stay in one spot? Read this to find out.
The pace is fast and the tone is uncertain with a character centered storyline that has some steamy scenes. The characters are vivid and engaging. Each story stands alone, but I think you get more out of them when you read them in order. At the very least, read this series in order, or Thornberg Ranch in order, then Thornberg Vineyard in order and then this one. BUT, if you want to start at the beginning, read the Bear Creek Clan and Bear Bluff Clan box set, then the Return to Bear Bluff box set and the Return to Bear Creek box sets and singles. Then there are many other series set in and around Bear Creek for you to enjoy!
Enjoyable enough but very similar in plot to previous books. Dream job offer or mate. Meryl is just to cold and unlikeable for me at times. Lacking romance.
In Ch two Spencer was out running the trails and hills in bear form. But then at beginning of Ch 3 he’s driving away in his truck. Then the next morning, how does she not hear Spencer’s truck pulling up her driveway?
Timeline doesn’t make sense at all. After only being there two days. Working on the house porch for two days and not even full days, they already need a break, really. But Meryl has spent several hours painting a door. When did she do the scraping, sanding and painting? Plus stripping wallpaper. Especially without electricity. Maybe she hasn’t slept.
Too many silly errors a beta reader would have picked up. Read through KU.
Yes, a parable. Explaining may give away too much. Suffice it to say, people and houses have more than one side to them. Yes, of course there's a love story. It's not only between these fated mates, though. These mates are not the only thing that seems fated.
I loved the writing, the descriptions so clear I could see them, the pacing, and that the open door intimacy is a side note to the story, not a major part of the plot.
This is my favorite of this series because so much of it resonates with me. Released today, I picked it up a few minutes past midnight; I couldn't wait to read it!
Meryl has come to town to fix up her aunt’s house that she inherited and sell it. But it’s in worst condition then she thought now she not sure she can do this. But Al of a sudden a guy show up to cations her about walk on the porch or into the house. Rotten wood! Spencer can’t believe he just met his mate. Now to get her to stay and fall in love with the house. So enjoy another good book and see if they get their HEA!!
Creating home. What lovely, heartwarming story. So many tender moments. Not for just the cottage, but also for Meryl and Spencer. Can the woman with no roots mate with the bear shifter with forever deep roots. My favorite Thornberg Restaurant story. Enjoy!
Quick read with a quirky love story set in the middle of remodeling a fallen down cottage. Loved both of the main characters and even dear Hilda the original owner who left her mark behind in more ways than one.
A wanderer and a bear shifter. Fate does have a sense of humor. Prepare for moments of warmth and family, hope and lists. I love all books Bear Creek and the Thornberg Restaurant is holding true. Bravo!
This is another heartwarming story with loveable characters. The romance is hot, the story is interesting and there is a happily ever after with no cliffhanger.
I really enjoyed reading this book📚 from this series. Each book📙 has it's own intriguing story. It's about family, friendship, loyalty, romance and love❤.
