"Not everyone gets the same message from the same words - or the same results from the same books"

The book two of Law of Attraction series builds up on the main concept outlined in the first book, and brings the attention towards financial well being from the same perspective. There is a lengthy, and detailed introduction chapter at first, which might feel a bit repetitive for someone coming from the first book straight-away, but it does a nice job bridging the gap between general well being outlined in the first book to and focusing the attention towards financial aspects in this one.

"We usually learn best through repetition."

"Every subject is really two subjects: what is wanted and lack of what is wanted."

Everything else I've mentioned in my first book's review remains the same, including this entire series most likely ending up as one you love or completely hate, with little middle ground. But I still think the positivity the book is attempting to establish is worth the time for any reader, even if nothing else seems tangible.

"A War Against War Is War."

"Tell a solution-oriented story instead of a problem-oriented story."

Esther Hicks channels the wisdom of her inner being, called Abraham, to write these books. It sounds kind of far out there if you've never been exposed to that type of teaching before, but I have to say, I like it. If you're in to self help and new age books, you may want to give them a try.

The majority of her (their) message seems to be to find joy. They teach that the purpose of life is to do what makes you happy as often as you can. Interestingly enough, that was the same lesson my grandfather taught me before he passed on. "Whatever you do in life, Heidi, be happy. The most important thing is to be happy."

Maybe it is in memory of him that I connect so easily with these teachings. I don't know.

I've really taken to heart her encouragement to start out your day in the proper mindset. Lately, I've been chilling in bed for a few minutes rather than jumping right into my day. I don't really have the words to explain why this is making a difference, but it is. I take a second to think about something awesome, even if its as banal as, "My pillow is so soft." Try it and let me know how it works out for you.

"So as you awaken, open your eyes and say Today I will look for reasons to feel good. Nothing is more important than that I feel good." pg 37

Also, she's a big proponent for imaging and living your own life to its fullest and not comparing yourself to others. In the new age of social media and twitter where it seems like everybody is into everybody else's business, it's refreshing.

Do not write your story like a factual documentary, weighing all the pros and cons of your experience, but instead tell the uplifting, fanciful, magical story of the wonder of your own life and watch what happens. pg 81

Overall, these teachings have changed my life. I can't really say enough positive things about her books, of which there are several best sellers. She also does a bustling business of hosting workshops, which she does across the United States and on a few different cruises.

Last month, I went to an Abraham Hicks workshop for the first time. I've enjoyed her videos on YouTube for a long time and thought I might shake things up and see what she's like in person. This was kind of a production because Esther doesn't come to the St. Louis area. So, I went out west and heard her speak in Phoenix.

The papers for the workshop registration encourage attendees to write down questions about life, whatever comes into your mind that you're curious about. I brainstormed with my husband and came up with about a dozen different things I'd talk about if I got to the "hot seat". (That's what she calls the chair up front.)

I arrived about 15 minutes before the whole thing started, which seemed like ample time to me, only to discover the auditorium was nearly filled! That was fine because I wanted a seat towards the outside anyway. If things gave me a weird vibe, I wanted to be able to get the heck out as fast as possible.

In the moments before Esther emerged, this music started up about "Joy, joy, joy. Joy is the key" and almost half the crowd got up and started dancing. I nearly bolted. It felt rather cultist in those moments.

But then the music cut and there she was and things settled down somewhat. What followed was a lot of laughs and learning about topics ranging from relationships to illness to someone's dog. The whole day ended with a marriage proposal from one of the attendees to another. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, I'm kicking around the idea of going again next year.

I never made it to the hot seat and felt rather disappointed. But, later, as I was reading over the questions I took to the workshop, I found, to my surprise, that she had directly addressed every single one of them in other people's questions. And then, that night, I dreamed I was back at the workshop. I was sitting in the chair and asking any question that came to my mind.

So, that's my personal experience with this author and the "magic" of Abraham. I know these teachings aren't for everyone. (Case in point, I posed my trip to the workshop as a simple 'meeting one of my favorite authors' to my very religious mother.) But they're for me. And that's pretty cool.

This was a good book about what all already fundamentally know. For me, these books are always good spritual reminders, which do precisely what I want them to do. That is, put me in the now, and in a positive place.

Some of my favorite take-aways:
"[T:]here is powerful value in abandoning any thoughts that do not feel good when you think them."

"Before things actually manifest, your proof of alignment comes in the form of positive, good-feeling emotion; and if you understand that, then you will be able to hold steady to your course while the manifestations of the things you desire are making their way to you."

"You cannot get poor enough to help poor people thrive or sick enough to help sick people get well. You only ever uplift from your position of strength and clarity and alignment."

"The more you beat the drum of anything [positive or negative:], the more you activate the essence of it in your vibration."

"'How do I get from where I am to where I want to be?' And the answer is: Look in the direction of where you want to be, and speak in the direction of where you want to be, and never again look back over your shoulder about where you have come from."

Law of Attraction meets wealth. This only applies to those who believe in LOA. If you're already arguing against it best to skip this one.

Money, and the law of attraction : learning to attract wealth, health and happiness

pg. 5- no one ever has or ever could have prevented your success - or provided it. Your success is all up to you. It is all in your control. ... Whatever I can desire, I can achieve.

Pg. 6- when you give the credits or the blame to another for tour success or lack of it - you are powerless to make any change.

Pg. 10- when you remember that you get the essence of what you think about - and then you notice what you are getting - you have the keys for deliberate creation.

Pg. 14- you have to begin telling your story in a new way. You have to tell it as you want it to be. As you tell the story of your life (and you do it nearly all day, every day with your words, your thoughts, and your actions), you have to feel good while tell it. In every moment, about every subject, you can focus positively or negatively, for in ever particle of the universe - in every moment in time and beyond - there is that which is wanted and the lack of what is wanted pulsing there for you to choose between.

Pg. 30- whenever I'm feeling bad, I 'm attracting unwanted.

Pg. 57- there is never a situation in which there is not a way out. In fact, there are hundreds and thousands of practical choices along the way - but, out of habit, most people continue to choose the "lack" respective in situation until they eventually find themselves in an unwanted place where it seems that there are no more choices.

Pg. 84- anything you are giving your attention to is an invitation to the essence of it.

Pg. 159-are there any limits of control your body and mind? Only the limitations caused by your own limited thinking - and all are self-imposed.

Pg. 182- what you are living is always an exact replication of your vibrational patterns of thought. Nothing could be more fair than life as you are living it, for as you are thinking, you are vibrating, and as you vibrating, you are attracting - and so you are always getting back the essence of what you are giving.

Pg. 190- the secret to all success is keeping yourself happy.

“If you are a student of Deliberate Creation, if you want to consciously create your own reality, if you desire control of your own life experience, if you want to fulfill your reason for being, then your understanding of these prevalent topics—money and the Law of Attraction—will serve you enormously well.”

“Make statements such as: I want to be the best that I can be. I want to do and have and live in a way that is in harmony with my idea of the greatest goodness. I want to harmonize physically here in this body with that which I believe to the be best, or the good way, of life.”

“Nothing is more important than that you feel good, for when you feel good, you are in harmony with your greater intent.”

~ Esther and Jerry Hicks from Money, and the Law of Attraction

CONFESSION: Writing a Note on this book is nearly impossible. Why? Cuz my whole book is basically one long underlined with asterisks flying off every page! (Alas, I’ve pulled out some of my favorite Big Ideas but know that I’ve *barely* scratched the surface of this awesome book. If it’s resonating, me thinks you’ll dig it. :)

And, now back to the show: Esther and Jerry Hicks are quickly becoming two of my absolute favorite teachers. As I mention in my Note on Ask and It Is Given, the idea of channeling Non-Physical beings kinda freaked me out at first. (Still opening my mind from my Catholic upbringing. :) At this stage, I’m much more open to the idea and, to be honest, I don’t care where they get this wisdom because it’s *amazing*. Truly remarkable.

Here are some of my favorite Big Ideas:

1. Shortage of Connection - The only issue. Ever.
2. Your Lifetime Career - Follow your joy!
3. Most Valuable Skill - Control your mind.
4. Magnificent Money - Hold the vision!
5. The Reality of Your Life - Is NOT important.

You can make money in an infinite number of ways. What’s yours?

this is one of many books about the law of attraction. the philosophy behind this natural "law" is that if you are positive, think positively, act positively, positive things will be attracted to you. in this specific book, the focus is on financial wealth.

parts of this book get me thinking. maybe i do need to be more positive. maybe this book can help me become more aware and in-the-moment so that when i am being negative, i can pinpoint it and try to reverse it. maybe this will help me have a better outlook on life. maybe that will lead to feeling better about things as they are and taking the right approach to things i want. so on, etc. interesting.

ad yet, the book is really repetitive. this is a great strategy for teaching, but when reading, it's too noticeable. i get distracted by reading the same thing over and over. also, they say they're going to reveal something life-changing, but i keep getting the sense that they're not revealing it yet, it'll come, keep reading, no, not yet, but soon, just keep, well, okay, not yet, bear with us... i don't know, maybe it's supposed to be my job to uncover the truth within myself, but don't occupy my time with dangling promises. if i'm supposed to figure it out on my own, tell me so.

This self-help book focuses on improving life in the areas of finances and health. The premise of the Law of Attraction is that what you get in life is a result of your habitual thinking and emotions; that the “vibe” that you put out determines what you will attract into your experience. Bettering your thoughts, emotions, and “vibe” will better your life experience, not only in what you experience internally, but also in what you receive from life.

A major theme of this book is the difference between alignment and action. Alignment is defined as how much your current state of emotions and thoughts represent your true inner spiritual being. The assumption is that this “who-you-really-are” is not only wise, but has something to express in this world, and your desires to have and do things are just a reflection of what this inner being wants to express. This book was written to help you fulfill your desires, thus truly expressing yourself. To do this, you must align with your inner being before taking action.

When you are aligned with your inner being, you feel good. When you’re out of alignment you don’t. The authors’ main advice is alignment, and thus feeling good, before taking any action. They state that the majority of action taken when one is stressed, out of alignment and feeling bad will produce undesirable results. Indeed, they state that the whole “work harder when things aren’t going well, force yourself to work hard to make things better” concept does not work. They emphasize getting into alignment before taking action. Much of the book centers on how to do this.

The case histories and examples prompted me to examine myself, a generally happy person who doesn’t have all that she wants yet, and in fact has some “issues” around work. This book helped me to identify the many times during the day that I do feel bad, and how I sometimes indulge in bad feelings. Especially around work! The book provides some simple techniques to “harmonize with your inner being.” Although this could sound rather lofty, these techniques do seem to be improving my life, and specifically how I approach my work. I also found the health section of personal benefit. I “always” get a sinus infection after I have the flu…except when I had the flu a couple of weeks ago while reading the book and employing a couple of its techniques.

Compared with the similar book “The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent,” by the same authors, there are fewer topics and fewer techniques for getting yourself out of your habitual patterns. I found this focus beneficial, and the book more valuable because of it.

As a footnote, these books were supposedly written by a non-physical entity named Abraham, who is channeled by one of the authors and recorded by the other. I tend towards believing this, but even if I didn't, the techniques worked for me, regardless of where they came from.

This is the second book of the series that my partner and I have read out loud together for fifteen minutes a day- and the impact is profound. Reading aloud brings a different level of presence and the words truly resonate. Great stuff. #timewellspent

Keep in mind the disclaimer on the copyright page that reads, "The authors of this book do not dispense medical advice or prescribe the use of any technique as a form of treatment for physical, emotional, or medical problems without the advice of a physician, either directly or indirectly." It's important, considering a segment of this book is about physical health. It's interesting to me, because if we had regulation around careers and money, there would also be disclaimers about those. Throughout this book, we are yet again offered advice about how to align our thoughts with the things we want. We are told to remember that when we feel good, we are on the right track. When we feel bad, we aren't. It's a very simple concept, and yet this is one in a line of many books by Esther and Jerry Hicks on this relatively simple topic. Understandably. They offer various processes and examples of how to achieve this better feeling, especially under duress. In fact, there is even a section called "Euphoria in the jaws of a lion" and another called "How cold someone feeling pain focus elsewhere". The goal is yet again to distract yourself from the unbearably unpleasant things in your reality. Eventually, in utilizing Jerry and Esther's processes and games I do believe that it is possible to be so swept up in irrationality that we can endure great amounts of physical and emotional discomfort. The best way to do this is to continue reading their materials, as they offer you the hope of the possibility of this kind of delusion, so even though you still may be in pain, this sort of fantasy will make you feel that relief could happen. Will it come? Based on these teachings, it doesn't really matter. If you delude yourself enough, you shouldn't need the physical or emotional discomfort to lift. But I must remind anyone venturing down this path that as appealing as wishful, irrational, or magical thinking may be, the downside of this material is that it also holds you accountable for all the tragedies of your life. This can sometimes lead a person to feeling tremendous amounts of guilt and self-blame on why their life is where it is. Other than that, go forward, read Esther and Jerry's fine words and work to convince yourself of the reality of this book. I hope for your sake that it brings you the ease you seek. If not, it doesn't matter, because as Abraham (the collection of nonphysical entities that have written this book through Esther) says, "All is well." Basically, no matter how much suffering you may go through, it won't matter. So relax. Read this book, and feel the power of certain self-deception wash over you. Read it as many times as you can, and do not let others who do not understand this material deter you from creating your own reality. If they persist, there is more material from Abraham Hicks available. There are CDs, books, DVDs, and affirmation cards. All of these can be of great value as we transform our lives with this trite work of fiction.

I was hesitant to read this book because the idea of Esther Hicks getting information from a non-physical consciousness named Abraham seemed rather strange. After reading Rhonda Byrne's The Secret and The Power several times over, I finally decided to seek out some original source material. I was quite impressed with this presentation. The copy I borrowed from the library had a CD with a Boston Workshop recording which had me laughing and feeling great.

Money and the Law of Attraction was my first book by Esther and Jerry Hicks, and I ended up reading this book twice in 2020. I've since read and enjoyed several others.

Favorite Passages:
. . . not everyone gets the same message from the same words - or the same results from the same books.
_______

Your emotional discomfort is a powerful indicator that something is very wrong.
_______

If you are a student of Deliberate Creation, if you want to consciously create your own reality, if you desire control of your own life experience, if you want to fulfill your reason for being, then your understanding of these prevalent topics - money and the Law of Attraction - will serve you enormously well.
_______

. . . your attention is given to the stuff that you do not want, and so you hold it to you. The way to get to where you want to be is to give your full attention to what you do want, not to give your attention to what you do not want.
________

You are very particular about what you eat and what you wear and what you drive, and yet you are not particular about what you think. We would encourage you to be particular about what you think. Keep your thoughts on the side of the subject that is in harmony with your wanting. Think about wellness - not about lack of it. Think about being as you want to be rather than the lack of it.
_______

To see your world through the eyes of Source is truly the most spectacular view of life, for from that vibrational vantage point, you are in alignment with - and therefore in the process of attracting - only what you would consider to be the very best of your world.
_______

The reason that more things do not change more quickly in your societies today is because most people are giving their attention predominantly to what-is. In order to effect change, you must look beyond what-is.
_______

When people do not allow the fact that no one else has ever done something to prevent them from doing it, they are of a great advantage to others, because once they break through and create it, then others can observe and, in time, can come to believe or expect it - and for that reason, everything that you accomplish is of value to your society.
Your platform for progressive living continues to expand, and life does get better and better for everyone. However, we are wanting to take you beyond the need to see it before you can believe it. We want you to understand that if you believe it, then you will see it. Anything that you practice in your mind until the idea begins to feel natural to you must come to physical fruition. The Law of Attraction guarantees it.
You will feel enormous liberation when you realize that you do not have to wait for someone else to do something in order to prove that it can be done or before you allow yourself to do it. As you practice new thoughts, reaching for improved emotions, and then see the evidence that the Universe will provide, you will come to know your own true power.
_______

It makes no difference whether the thought you are thinking is one you have deliberately chosen to focus upon or whether you are merely lazily observing something and therefore thinking the thought - you are still thinking the thought, offering the vibration, and reaping the manifestational result of that thought. So you are always creating your own reality whether you are doing it purposefully or not.
_______

If you take action from your perspective of lack -- the action is always counterproductive.
_______

The most valuable skill that you could every develop in the skill of directing your thoughts toward what you want - to be adept at quickly evaluating all situations and then quickly coming to the conclusion of what you most want - and then giving your undivided attention to that. There is a tremendous skill in directing your own thoughts that will yield results that cannot be compared with results that mere actions can provide.
_______

Start telling a more positive, better-feeling story about your life and the things that are important to you.
_______

Financial success, or any other kind of success, does not require hard work or action, but it does require alignment of thought. You simply cannot offer negative thought about things that you desire and then make up for it with action or hard work. When you learn to direct your own thoughts, you will discover the true leverage of Energy alignment.
_______

Most people have no idea of the power of their own thoughts. They do not realize that as they continue to find things to complain about, they disallow their own physical well-being. Many do not realize that before they were complaining about an aching body or a chronic disease, they were complaining about many other things first. It does not matter if the object of your complaint is about someone you are angry with, someone who has betrayed you, behavior in others that you believe is wrong, or something wrong with your own physical body - complaining is complaining, and it disallows recovery.
________

Joy, appreciation, love and health are all synonymous. Resentment, jealousy, depression, anger, and sickness are all synonymous.
________

We encourage you to decide, as early in life as possible, that your dominant intent and reason for existence is to live happily ever after.
_______

No matter what choices you make, there will always be someone who does not agree with those choices, but as you find your balance and maintain your alignment, most who are observing you will be more inclined to ask you what your secret to success is rather than criticizing you for being successful. And those who continue to criticize you would find no satisfaction in your justification, no matter how compelling your argument is.
_______

You are born wanting to be of value, wanting to uplift. And you are born understanding that you have value.
_______

Freedom is the basis of your life experience; it is not something that you have to earn. Joy is your objective. Growth is the result of all of that.
_______

What you are living is always an exact replication of your vibrational patterns of thought. Nothing could be more fair than life as you are living it, for as you are thinking, you are vibrating, and as you are vibrating, you are attracting - and so you are always getting back the essence of what you are giving.
______

As you think thoughts that feel good to you, you will be in harmony with who-you-really-are. And so, utilize your profound freedom. Seek joy first, and all the growth that you could ever imagine will come joyously and abundantly unto you.
______

Here I am, on the first day of the rest of my physical life experience. And it is my dominant intent, from this moment forward, to look for reasons to feel good. I want to feel good. Nothing is more important to me than that I feel good.
______

We would like you to see your "career" as one of creating a joyful life experience. You are not a creator of things or a regurgitator of what someone else has created or a gatherer of stuff. You are a creator, and the subject of your creation is your joyful life experience. That is your mission. That is your quest. That is why you are here.
_______

Often there are things in your work environment that are not conductive to feeling good, and often you believe that your only chance of ever really feeling good is to get away from those negative influences. But the idea of quitting and leaving does not feel good either because that could cause a lapse in your income when things are already financially tight, so you continue on, unhappy and feeling trapped.
If you could stand back a little bit and see your career not as work that you are doing in exchange for money but as the expenditure of your life experience in return for your joyful experience, then you would realize that many of the thoughts you think and the words you speak are not in alignment with that quest for joy. If you will say, "Nothing is more important than that I feel good," you will find yourself guiding yourself to different thoughts, words, and behaviors.
_______

From your simple but powerful premise of deciding that you want to feel good, things will begin to improve in dramatic ways.
_______

The life you have already lived has caused you to determine the details of the experience you are looking for, and the perfect situation is already lined up for you. Your work right now is not to get out there and find the perfect set of circumstances, but instead to allow the unfolding of the circumstances that will lead you right to a position that satisfies the myriad of intentions that you have come to through your life experience.
_______

. . . you were one of the few who was strange enough or weird enough or different enough to allow yourself to seek your bliss.
_______

You are seeking freedom from negativity, from resistance, from the disallowance of who-you-really-are, and from the disallowance of the abundance that is your birthright. You are seeking freedom from lack.
_______

People often move from job to job, profession to profession, employer to employer, only to find the next place no better than the last - and the reason for that is, they take themselves everywhere they go.
_______

Appreciation is the vibration of alignment with who-you-are, it is the absence of resistance. It is the absence of doubt and fear. It is the absence of self-denial or hatred toward others. Appreciation is the absence of everything that feels bad and the presence of everything that feels good. When you focus upon what you want - when you tell the story of how you want your life to be - you will come closer and closer to the vicinity of appreciation, and when you reach it, it will pull you toward all thing that you consider to be good in a very powerful way.
______

If you are wise enough to follow the trail of good-feeling thoughts, you will discover that that blissful path will lead you to all things you desire. By deliberately looking for positive aspects along your way, you will come into vibrational alignment with who-you-really-are and with the things you really want, and once you do that, the Universe must deliver to you a viable means to achieve your desires.
_______

Appreciation is that tuned-in, tapped-in, turned-on feelin. Appreciation is vibrational alignment with "who I have become." The state of appreciation is "me being in sync with the whole of that which I am."
_______

. . . as you use those things that shine bright and make you feel good as your excuse to give your attention and be who-you-are, you will tune to who-you-are, and the whole world will begin to transform before your eyes. It is not your job to transform the world for others - but it is your job to transform it for you. A state of appreciation is pure Connection to Source where there is no perception of lack.
______

When you are in alignment with the Energy that creates worlds, you no longer have to stop and open the doors. Your Energy alignment allows things to line up for you, and the action that you offer is the way you enjoy the benefit of the alignment you have accomplished.

the entire essence of this book is essentially what we think is what we get.. every single thought is a vibration sent out to the universe, the universe is always listening and giving to your thoughts. you think "i do not want that i.e. sickness, financial problems etc" and you will get it because you gave thought to it.. the best way to not get what you do not want is by seeing the best in everything that comes to you in life AND always pay attention to your feeling, it is the direct path to your source- source being you, the real you beyond the physical body you live in.

Quotes: "In the vibration of appreciation all things come to you. You don't have to make anything happen. From what you are living, amplify the things you appreciate so that it sit he dominate vibration you are offering and then only those things that are a vibrational match to that can come to you. Then sit back and know, "You ain't seen nothing yet!!!""

"When you remember that you get the essence of what you think about—and then you notice what you are getting—you have the keys for Deliberate Creation."

"When you give the credit or the blame to another for your success or lack of it—you are powerless to make any change."

"You are the creator of your experience, and you must create your experience deliberately if you are to have the joyful experience that you meant to have. Unless you, in any moment, are seeing the world through the eyes of Source, then you are but a shadow of the Being that you’ve come forth to be. Which means, if you are doing less than loving whatever it is you’re giving your attention to, you are not who you were really born to be. Negative emotion means you’ve pinched yourself off, to some degree, from who-you-really-are."

"There will always be others who disagree with you, and your attention to them will always cause you to vibrationally disagree with your own desires. Listen to your own Guidance System—by paying attention to how you are feeling—in order to determine the appropriateness of your desires and behaviors."

My thoughts: 3% - On March 4, 2021 I requested this book. After over a year of waiting I was able to checkout this book on April 16 2022. I finished one of my books and started it this evening [the 17th] and I already want to quit. Hopefully I'll have a better experience when I restart it tomorrow morning.
28% - The introduction said it would be repetitive but that was an understatement. If I had a nickel for every time they said you I would have enough money to purchase a flight to Maui by now. I'm completely bored. I feel like a kid who just got out of a mundane lecture. I was hoping to start a Peter Swanson book, but I need music pronto.
54% - I wish I could fall asleep on this book. That's my final complaint, because complaints are bad.

I have had this book on my TBR for years, last year I decided to read it. I was surprised there was only one copy at one of my libraries and it had a long waiting list. So 13 months laterI go my opportunity to hear this information that so many speakers reference across many topics. It had good information, although I couldn't get behind it, but the delivery is horrific. I finished it quickly because I wanted it to be over and to hand it over to the 25 people waiting. They basically repeated the same concept for several hours using different scenarios. Also so you're not confused Esther Hicks is also known as Abraham Hicks. This was most definitely a good example of a book I would not have been able to get through without audio, my system would have shutdown early on.

Recommend to others?: Nope, find the Cliff Notes and save yourself, I was better off with the second hand tidbits I had prior to reading this.

What I liked most about this book is that it helps you understand, how to shift your thoughts when you are feeling bad to something which you feel good about from the past. Because at the it is a chain reaction. A smallest happy thought which can bring smile on your face & can make you happy is the one which will trigger another happy thought as a chain reaction.

One of powerful statements from the book - "Unless you are happy, You can't get there. When you decide to be happy, you can get there"

The process of transmigration of thoughts from negative to positive is very simple. When you have a negative emotion about something like jealousy, hatred, inferiority complex, do not try to hammer it out and solve it immediately, because you can't change negative thoughts to the best positive state of mind in just a second. Just distract yourself from the thought for some time, don't work or react on it. think about something you like. eat your most liked food, listen to your favorite music, take a walk outside your house & then take the negative situation again, you will be able to deal it with better, because you have got enough positive energy now in you to decide what to do in such situations.

Practising it from sometime & i feel that this process helps a lot.

The books in this series make you think of wealth from a very different perspective. Having grown up with hardships, I'd built up this scarcity mindset where earning money felt like something that was hard and full of struggles. Esther and Jerry breaks down this whole concept to show how wealth is a state of the mind. There is an entire lecture and Q&A from their Ask Abraham sessions at the end of the book and that was like a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to think of wealth differently or to anyone who is suffering from a scarcity mindset (be it financially, health wise, emotionally, and so on.) Last but not the least, these books along with Joe Dispenza and Gabby Bernstein books transformed my life into a more happy and abundant one. I've witnessed magic (in terms how prosperity came my way) and I know that if you too are an open-minded person you too can reap the fullest benefits from books such as these.

Summary: This conversation will sound a lot like the videos that she has. I personally love it and it is so lovely to read it as well.

I love Esther Hicks and the way she talks about the nuance of what we do to attract things into our lives. It's not straight forward. It's all very beautiful. But this really is a particular belief system that you choose. I know it's not for everyone (either the message or format). I personally dig it.

This is a perfect example of "eating the meat and spitting out the bones". The central theme of the book is realizing that your thoughts, words, and energy attract like components from the universe. It was weird to hear a female voice answering on behalf of a non-physical being named Abraham, but again, the material was worth it.

I have read a number of books over the years regarding the Law of Attraction and the process of manifesting one's desires. This book does a phenomenal job in providing the context and content to help the reader change their point of attraction in terms of money, health, and relationships. Like anything, this is a process and the best way to get results is to approach it with a playful attitude. Some people have accused Esther and Jerry Hicks of teaching selfishness. Well, for one thing, there is a difference between being selfish vs Self-ish. Secondly, if one doesn't attend to their own vibrations, they are NO good to the world anyway. So, the best way to 'give back' is to get aligned with your own Well Being aka Source energy.

Another positive reinforcement to my growing library. Abraham and Esther Hicks explain clearly and to the point how the laws of attraction as well as other laws of the universe can be used by anyone looking to improve their life situations. I reccommend it to anyone who is looking for answers to the questions of life... like "Why am I here"? It's in the book!

More than just covering how to attract money this book goes in depth about how to change your thinking to be more positive, thus making you feel good. If anything you will walk away with a more positive outlook and be happier. I am not sure about more money. Basically the same premise as The Secret, but with more explanation on how to use it.

They were very inspiring and direct to the point and very helpful in my path to spirituality and goodness and patience and all the good things lol. I'll never stop learning and I'll never stop practicing loa. I believe that it is all worth it! :)

Haven't gotten to the money part yet but have learned an interesting and simple way to turn from negative thoughts pattern to a more positive way. Changes what would be a bad day into an enjoyable one.
