About the author

Claudia Gray is not my real name. I didn't choose a pseudonym because my real name is unpleasant (it isn't), because I'd always dreamed of calling myself this (I haven't) or even because I'm hiding from the remnants of that international diamond-smuggling cartel I smashed in 2003 (Interpol has taken care of them). In short, I took a pseudonym for no real reason whatsoever. Sometimes this is actually the best reason to do things.

I live in New Orleans. So far, in life, I've been a disc jockey, a lawyer, a journalist and an extremely bad waitress, just to name a few. I especially like to spend time traveling, hiking, reading and listening to music. More than anything else, I enjoy writing.

"You stared at the counter with this expression on your face, and I realized you were watching the shadows from the window."

It's hatefully short, criminally sappy and disgustingly cloying, it doesn't provide the slightest insight into the characters, nothing -nothing- happens and I can't name a single rational reason why you should read this.
But it made my heart melt like a damn burning candle.

"I could kiss him. I could swoon."

Damn right, Marguerite. Damn right.

So, who cares what your brain -or mine- tells you? Go read it. Right here, right now.

I don't remember Marguerite being so hilarious in the first book. You are developing as a character my precious child. Also, Paul is my baby. I will protect him at all costs.

This is really short (and kinda really cheesy), and it honestly foesn't add anything to the trilogy, but it was cute to see a little more of Marguerite and Paul. They are so cute, yet so awkward together in this short story.

This is a really short, but cute ficlet. It's not absolutely necessary to read (it's just a "fun extra"), but I still somewhat enjoyed reading their conversation. Meg and Paul are trying to make things work, but there are still some awkward things they have to overcome. I'm looking forward to seeing where their relationship will go from here!

hmmmm, I think it was meant to be cute but I felt really awkward throughout that date.. I wouldn't want to be in Marguerite's shoes because that date was really bad, as for Paul and his confession I guess it was ok .. not enjoyable

I think this novella captures the grieving process that is still happening for Marguerite. How awkward it is to love someone that is dead but alive. I like that this little story builds on the romance and it's an important part of the relationship. Again, Paul's melodramatic love confessions fell short for me, but, hey, he's adorable.

Hmm.. I'm not sure what to think about this one.
On one hand, it's cute and fluffy, but all of it just seems so superficial. Paul doesn't seem like a real guy. The main character -I can't remember her name, sounded odd with all her explanation of what had happened in the first book. Not my favorite.
