I received Lust in return for an honest review from the author. Lust starts after the end of the prior book Lure with Daisy and Owen have found each other. As the time is passing Daisy is starting to become more and more like the Allure and the worry of losing herself and Owen is real. Determined not to lose Daisy and be able to turn her back into a human they set out across the country for Owen’s home. However after arriving back in New Orleans it’s clear that they don’t have much info on the allures but decide to visit the witch who helped Daisy before. Violet and Hugh are waiting for them when they arrive but Violet is determined to help Daisy.

The only option to save Daisy is to take her to the Elders which are at Mount Majest in an alternate world where only Owen will be able to go with her. The four of them travel to the portal but after crossing over they find that only Owen and Daisy are together the other Allures are missing. They encounter the Dryads who take them to the Allure house but the visit is short lived and Violet and Hugh are still missing. When a strange Allure shows up he is determined to turn Daisy in for the double bounty, will Owen be able to stop him? Will Daisy reach the elders before becoming a full Allure?

I still love Daisy and Owen they are just so perfect for each other kind of a ying and yang they complement each other. I love that while Daisy is dealing with the emotional disconnect that Owen is determined to not let her give up on them. I love seeing more of our King and Queen of the society and the glimpses into their future. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Violet but as the book progressed I really started to like her more and more. I really felt like she cared about Daisy I hope to see more of her in the next book. I can’t wait to find out what happened to Taylor….

Lust is the 2nd book in the Allure Chronicles which is a spin-off of the Crescent Chronicles. The Allure Chronicles is my favorite series so far when it comes to spin-offs so I have some huge expectations that needed to be filled. I wasn’t disappointed if anything the story exceeds them by leaps and bounds. I love the world that the characters live in hidden from the human but with a whole society of different supernatural beings ruled by the king. I love the characters Daisy and Owen are my favorite couple they just grab my heart and twist it all up. Lust is an emotional roller-coaster from start to the very last page I was on the edge of my seat. I may or may not have had tears in my eyes by the very last page no one was around to witness. I love the authors style she is an amazing storyteller her novels are beautifully done. I couldn’t put it down actually finished it in one afternoon because I just had to know how it was going to end. Warning it does have the most evil cliffhanger but it works for the series since it is all about emotions. I loved Lust it’s one of my favorite of 2015 even if I felt my heart was ripped out. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out.

“What’s the point in experiencing anything if you can’t feel it?” I’d never thought about the importance of emotion before I started to change, but now it was everything. I realized I would be nothing but a shell of myself without it. No one would be.

Lust picks up right where Lure left off. Daisy and Owen are off on the quest to stop Daisy from turning into an Allure. Daisy is desperate to stop the change. She doesn’t want to stop being a human or loose the way she feels about Owen, but her quest won’t be easy. In order to find answers, she will have to put her faith in people that she doesn’t trust. But time is of the essence and tough choices will have to be made. And in the end the ultimate question will be: What would you do, what would you sacrifice for the person you love?

Lust was a quick and easy read for me. I enjoyed getting lost in the world of Daisy and Owen. Lust is a great story about fate, sacrifice, the quest to stay true to yourself and the power of love. “I’d never given much credence to fate, but I’d changed my mind. We were fated to be together. There was a higher power that wanted us to be together, and it made each day we spent together feel like a year in the intensity it created.” Daisy and Owen’s quest to find the truth and stop what’s happening to Daisy, will not be easy. They will have to travel to new worlds and will meet new creatures along the way. You will find yourself asking questions: Who’s on their side? Who is telling the truth? Are they really being helped? And when you get to the end….your will be left breathless. My heart is broken. A tough, tough decision had to be made. There is no wrong or right answer. The only thing you can do is hold on for the ride and hope that in the end, all will turn out ok. I for one can not wait to find out what happens next!

Lust is the second novel in the Allure Chronicles, a new adult paranormal romance series. Lust picks up right after Lure left off, with Daisy and Owen having just found each other and the bomb of what Daisy having allure essence in her really means. It was one doozy of an ending, but then again the end of Lust was also pretty gut wrenching. Alyssa why do you do this to me?? Ugh I just love her books so much. And the Allure Chronicles has to be one of my favorite series of hers.

I love all of the characters, not only just Daisy and Owen, but Violet and Roland have special places in my heart as well. I was kind of hoping that we would see more of Roland in this book. Not because I dislike Owen. I really love him, I am just also intrigued by Owen and his connection with Daisy. Luckily, I have a feeling that I will be seeing a lot more of him in the next book. Wink wink.

Lust takes all of the characters on a world-wind high speed journey to try and fix what is happening to Daisy. I won't go into too much more detail about what exactly is happening because I love all the Allure history and characteristics Alyssa Rose Ivy explains in Lust. Things that I so want them to fix or find a workaround from because I love Daisy and Owens connection. I think there is something so pure and innocent about their feelings and the way they treat one another. I know that seems strange given everything you know about the series- the titles, the covers and the series name, but it is true! haha, they are just too cute together.

Another exciting moment in Lust for me, was when mention of Energo was made! Alyssa, you master you. (for those of you new to Alyssa's books, Energo is a land in another two of her series- the Forged Chronicles and the Afterglow Trilogy.) All of her series and worlds are coming together and linking up! I absolutely love it. I want to see some kind of chart or map made of all of Alyssa's series lands and the creatures that live there. Someone please make that!

Fans of New Adult paranormal romance need to read the Allure Chronicles. And it is great series to start with if you are new to Alyssa's works because it touches so many of her other series. Start with this one and then move off to any of the numerous other series that overlap. Comment below if you want suggestions for reading order, or more information about the other series. I received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review, I was in no way compensated for this review.

Alyssa Rose Ivy returns to The Allure Chronicles with Lust and things pick up pretty much where we left them in Lure. Daisy and Owen have finally been reunited, but they are learn of the essence that is essentially inside of Daisy from the paste she took that fateful Halloween night. Now Owen and Daisy will do anything possible to stop her change into an Allure and lose all feeling forever.

I love Daisy and Owen! Especially Owen! I love seeing him get his happiness after the fallout of his first real relationship. He's been pretty morose about things ever since then. But with Daisy, he's found what he's been searching for without ever realizing it!

Daisy and Owen make their first stop to New Orleans to see Levi and see if he can provide any help! And from there, we pretty much see the cast of characters from The Crescent Chronicles, Allie, Georgina amongst the faces! It was great! And exciting too, because we have an unknown time limit to get Daisy back to normal.

It's not long before Violet and Hugh show up claiming they want to help Daisy too. Violet knows of a way to get the transition to stop and be removed. It will involve yet another journey to the fae realm, and wouldn't you know it, that's in Charleston, South Carolina! I loved seeing these places I so recently visited! The magical doorway is actually in the Angel Tree, which is basically this really, really, HUGE tree! It was beautiful! Though taking pictures that day was hard due to all the rain.

I was anxious to see where this long quest would take Daisy and Owen and they actually make it through the fae world and up to the council, for lack of a better term. The end results though, those I never saw coming!! Talk about WOW! I swear, Alyssa ends each of her books with you wanting more! Now I have cliffhanger hangovers from this series, The Dire Wolves Chronicles, and of course, The Forged Chronicles, and let's not forget The Empire Chronicles which concluded Casey and Toby's story, but continues Jared and Vera's! I'm all over the map with her Paranormal NA series!! And they're all still ongoing at the moment and all had ended with a cliffhanger of some variety!

If you haven't read Alyssa's books yet, I cannot urge you enough to go and read them now! While the majority take place in The Crescent Chronicles world, you can read any which one you want first, but there will be some spoilers about the previous couple and where they are in their HEA ending. And it's pretty much a given that there are HEA endings with these series, it just might take the three books to get us there! Now I must go back to my least favorite task; waiting.

I don't understand how I loved the novella in this series and ended up disliking the rest of the books. I can't even explain what makes me dislike this particular series so much either. I generally love books by Alyssa Rose Ivy. I just have to accept that this series will never be one of them.

To be frank, this whole book (the beginning and ending being the exception) felt like a big filler to me. I still don't understand what Owen getting in trouble in the "shadow" scene had to do with moving the story along. I also don't understand why it had to be perceived that the Dragos had a sort of more-than-friendly relationship with Violet. It just seemed strange because she's an allure (more or less emotionless creature) and the whole book implies she's all powerful and old has dirt. So explain to me the reason for that dynamic/plot line in the story as a whole? Other then that, the pacing was nice and even though I skimmed a few pages here and there I can accept the book was well written and that the flow of it, as a whole, was good.

I have nothing to say about Daisy and Owen. I like them as a couple. They work great together and I love seeing the protective side Owen has when it comes to Daisy even thinking about putting herself in danger.

Conclusion: The cliffhanger really left me no choice. I will being reading Book #3 for the sake of my sanity. FYI: cliffhangers are just mean.

Lust (The Allure Chronicles #2) by Alyssa Rose Ivy Daisy and Owen’s story continues where book one left off, trying to prevent Daisy from losing her emotions by becoming an Allure.

Alyssa Rose Ivy created another exciting and imaginative story in Lust, book 2 of the Allure Chronicles.

I really enjoyed Daisy’s character. She truly loves Owen and wants to be with him. She does not want to lose her emotions, even though it would grant her immortality. She struggles with the change and is anxious to stay human.

I really like Owen. He is a worthy hero. He is well-liked by others and respected in the Pteron community. He loves Daisy and would do anything to be with her.

The plot is creative and well written. Alyssa Rose Ivy crafted a wonderful world that captivates the imagination. The story is believable and heartfelt. The story ends in a cliff hanger. I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

Oh my goodness! This book was just as good as the first one, if not better! I was quite literally on the edge of my seat! I wished I'd have read this sooner! I don't know what I was expecting with the ending but it wasn't that! I absolutely adored this book. I will be impatiently waiting for the next book!

Daisy and Owen are working with the Allures to try and stop her from turning into one. However they need to make a choice for Owen to sacrifice something in order to stop her from changing.
This wasn't as good as the last one but I'm curious to see how Owen is going to save her.

Lust is the second book in the (The Allure Chronicles) and wow things definitely get intense in this book

"𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙪𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚'𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩."

Time is of the essence, Daisy is running out of time as her feelings are becoming less and less by each day and well on her way to becoming an Allure. Daisy's and Owen's worst nightmares are fast approaching unless they can stop the process. Owen is willing to give up everything to save her. We have a lot of the old characters in this book, Levi and Allie and also Georgina and of course mayanne. Which was really cool to have them all in the story and helping out as best as they can, like they always do for each other. They have all been through so much to where they are today and now it's Owens turn to help him and his girl to get through this. But of course violet, Hugh, Roland turns up. I mean I'm sorry but there is something creepy about these guys lol I don't trust them and they're not revealing the real truth here, I just feel there is so much more behind the scenes. We entered new realms and worlds which to me were totally magical, but also scary. Also has my absolute favourite supernatural beings this book too which I was so excited and hope we see more of them.

𝙄 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚."𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙩. 𝙔𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙨. 𝙄 𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙚'𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙩."

I really enjoyed this book, and that cliffhanger seriously Alyssa you ended it there lol. Loads of action and some heart-breaking and teary moments, If you're gonna read this one make sure you have the next book handy, so you can straight into the next one. Cause trust me you won't want to wait. There are some more surprising reveals on Levi and Allie's life which I was squealing with happiness lol. Thrilling and breathtaking read, and I can't wait to read Lost.

“I promise to never let you go.”

It is no mystery that I love Alyssa Rose Ivy and her books. I have read every book she has written since becoming a reading fanatic. So, when she releases a new book, it is a one-click, must-have for me. Lust is book two in the Allure Chronicles. It is one of the most intense and emotional books I have read by this author.

"I wanted you before I saw your wings. Before you saved me. Call it love at first sight or whatever, but one glance was all it took."

We pick up in Lust where Lure left off. Our two main characters, Daisy and Owen are continuing in their journey to places we cannot even dream of. They are both undergoing some interesting changes; some are physical and some emotional. Owen has matured into a Pteron that knows what he wants and is willing to do anything possible to hold onto this. Daisy proves that she is more thoughtful in her decision making process and contemplative about her dreams for the future.

"It won't be easy. It's going to be difficult, and like all truly important journeys in life it is equally likely to kill you as save you, but I'm the end you will have given it your all."

Told in first person point of view from both Daisy an Owen, Lust squeezed every emotion out of me, literally. As I followed the main characters on their journey, I experiences moments of great joy, pleasure, reflection, pain, and sorrow. The were MANY surprises in this book. One in particular allowed for a view of characters from previous books and offered insight that was not previously shared. There were also new introductions that made me ecstatic with the possibilities and what-ifs for future reads. The pace of the story was fast and reflected a time is of the essence feeling. So, being this intense, I also enjoyed that the author wrote in times of short humorous reprieves when it was least expected. I closed the last page on Lust ready to jump into the next in the series, Lost. I am hopeful for the many things that it may have in store.

“Always and Forever.”

Lust by Alyssa Rose Ivy
I received this book for an honest review.
AHHHHH ~!!! This author is killing me!! I read this book driving home from family vacation and was a messsssss!!!!! The end of the book had me crying and being stuck in a car with 3 other people who were giving me eye rolls for being “a cry baby over another book” didn’t go over well with me!! LOL I immediately started to text my Twinise to chat with her about what he hope/think/pray will happen.
Owen and Daisey…..I have been dying to get more of their story. I have been waiting to see what an Allure is. Alyssa has the ability to develop and “make up” new amazing paranormal characters that make my head spin!!!!
Needless to say….Head Spun big time!!! Owen and Daisey travel all over to try and get some answers to how to stop Daisey from transforming into heartless being….AKA An Allure. Daisey finds comfort in Owens arms (Who wouldn’t’) and is worried she will lose him forever. Owen realized his love for Daisey and will not lose her. His self-appointed job is as her protector among other things *Snickers*.
This book has soooo much going on…we see the other Allures are “helping” Daisey or are they???? They get to visit our old favorites lie Levi, Allie and Georgiana…..I love that grandma!! We also met some yummy Drago’s who I hope we will see lots and lots more of…spin off mayhap??????
If you love the series, you need to read this installment!!

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book. Daisy just found out that time is running out until she becomes a full Allure, until she loses her feelings including her love for Owen. Kalisa the witch who originally gave her the seduction kiss paste that included Roland’s maker Taylor’s essence told her that there is a way to stop it and that she has to go to Energo but it won’t be found on any maps. After Louie Taylor’s maker tried to stop Daisy from finding out the information or allowing Violet to help her, They leave and fly back to New Orleans to talk to Levi to tell him about the Allures and that time is running out until Daisy turns into one. They decide to visit Georgina as she’s in the know and if she can’t help she can at least bring them to her witch friend Mayanne who tried to remove the magic of the seduction kiss after Owen originally saved Daisy from the Nest of Vampires but it didn’t work but now that they know that the magical paste included Allure essence maybe she’ll be able to give Daisy more time until they find out where they need to go. When they get to Mayanne’s Violet and Hugh are there and have agreed to help Daisy get to see the Elders who may be able to help remove the essence from her. Daisy and Owen Travel to the Glamour Realm and meet different magical/mythological creatures like Dryads, Glendale a talking Cat and Troy and Wyatt who are Dragos along their journey. Their love is questioned and tested. I’m hoping that we get introduced to more unusual creatures as Owen and Daisy’s love story continues. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

Lust is book #2 in The Allure Chronicles, I like this author so I jumped at the chance to be gifted an ARC to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

This book picks up right at the end of the first book and throws you back into Daisy and Owens world.

I really don’t read enough paranormal because when I do I always enjoy them and this book was not an exception to the rule.

This book feels tense, it’s a race against time and I could feel the tension and anxiety racing through every chapter.

Alyssa Rose Ivy throws a lot at you in this book, there’s even more mythical creatures some really cool and some just plain odd. But it draws you into this imaginary world that the author has created.

Daisy and Owen are kind of sickeningly in love and although it really is very sweet at times I wanted to just shout at them “stop snogging your running out of time”!!!

I’m really not sure who to trust and who not to trust in this book, Violet and Hugh seem like the enemy but I’m not sure if they are. I really enjoyed the vibe of this story and I was gutted when it ended where it did.

I’m really intrigued as to what is going to happen next in this series, there must be a massive twist coming up but I genuinely have no idea who is going to come to the rescue.

Can I just say that the Draco’s’ were fabulous and should sooooo get their own series.

This book ends on a cliff-hanger and I need the next instalment like NOW!!!

Lust gets 4 Stars from me.

Oh the tangled web this author weaves! In true Rose Ivy fashion she has me pulling out my story charts and guestimating where this story might go. Lust is the second book in the Allure Chronicles by Alyssa Rose Ivy. Now, you don't have to read all of her paranormal books to read this series. However, sooooooo many dots will be connected and give you many "Ah Ha" moments if you started at the beginning with Crescent Chronicles. But, let's be honest people, why would you miss out on any of these wonderful books???

On to Lust, Daisy and Owen's story. Daisy is literally moments away from becoming a full on Allure and losing her emotions, specifically her love for Owen. The theme of this book is desperation. Desperate for answers, desperate for each other, and desperate to continue to feel. Even with the amount of information given within this book, there are still so many unanswered questions and you are still left wondering can we trust Violet? It's definitely one of the most interesting of Rose Ivy's paranormal stories keeping the passion and steamy romance of her other novels, but taking it up a notch with magic in the paranormal world. It seems as though Rose Ivy has big plans for Daisy and Owen that might even tie into her Forged and Afterglow series. Overall this was an exceptionally well written, interesting story that leaves you begging for more! Well done Alyssa!

“I pulled her close ‘We can go anywhere and everywhere you want.’ I would go anywhere she wanted. I’d never been much of a traveler, but with Daisy any place would be exciting.”

4 stars. This book was an exciting ride and an excellent read! Not my usual genre, but I did really enjoy it. (Note: you need to read book one to enjoy this second book in the series)

After years of searching Daisy and Owen have finally found each other, only to face the threat of being forced apart. If they are unable to stop Daisy from becoming an Allure, she will forever lose the ability to love.

Desperate to stop the change before time runs out, they must decide what price they are willing to pay to save their love.

In this second book we find Daisy and own have finally come back together but now they are faced with the fear of possibly being torn apart. They have to find a way to make sure that Daisy doesn’t turn into an Allure. If she does become and Allure, she’ll never have the joy of falling in love. What are they willing to risk in order to save Daisy? This book is so well written and the characters are well developed. I read this book in one sitting and I’m so glad I did!! Beautiful story!!

Daisy and Owen

Daisy is slowly turning into an Allure. Owen and Daisy need to find a way to stop the transformation.

Cliffhanger... And the next book isn't out yet. FML.

Spoilers...

They end up needing to go to another realm. Violet and Hugh take them there. Then they get to where they need to be to get rid of the essence taking over her.

This book was kind of... long winded. It was about two people that had no clue what was going on and who trusted no one. The trust thing was way over the top. I feel like it was mentioned on every other page. It was a frustrating book because everyone had knowledge or secrets they weren't willing to share, it was ridiculous. If it hadn't been for the romance factor, I'm not sure I would have finished reading the book. The last thing and it's a biggy... No one was trying to kill them. No one's life was really in danger, to me, that is why I read these books. It's the save the world adventures that keep me reading.

I'm not sure if I should give the book two or three stars. The only saving grace was the romance. It was good enough in the book that I did cry at the end. I will finish this series, it was just a disappointing read. I'm hoping the next book in the series is better.

It was in dual POVs. The editing was good.

I've been so concerned about what happened to Daisy and Owen. When we last left them, at the end of Lure, they had been dealt a terrible blow to their happy reunion and were pondering what the future would hold for them. Sadly, Lust, Book #2 in the Allure Chronicles also ends on a Cliffhanger, so Daisy and Owen are still dangling on the edge. But, if it's possible, this edge is even more heartbreaking than before.

I like Daisy and Owen. I will probably read Book #3 when it comes out, because I'm dying to know if she becomes allure or not and if they can find their way to be together forever. This book introduces lots of new characters and a whole new world. It is sometimes a lot to keep straight, but I'm hoping book #3 will work out all the issues.

If you're looking for a paranormal romance series that creates all new kinds of characters, this is a quick read worth checking out!

Whoa. Just whoa.

This book is filled with amazing characters (I love Owen and Daisy) that you either want to root for, annihilate, or interrogate.

Alyssa Rose Ivy has a fantastic imagination, giving the book a wonderful setting and engaging plot. Now, Lust is the second of the series, so don't expect a lot of answers. In fact, prepare to ask a lot of questions.

The important thing about Lust is to know that confidence is an important part of any life and that emotions are not something to take for granted - even when they send you into a spiral.

My mind is overrun with theories, questions, heartbreak, and happiness. the newly introduced characters (and some old.... um... "friends") only add to the tale, there is nothing that takes away.

Owen and Daisy are in for the ride of their life - literally. They have to depend not only on themselves and their deep connection, but also others (who's intentions and motivations are questionable), creating a tension filled installment.

And the cliffy... Yes, there is one, and NO there is no other way. It was perfect.

Lust picks up right after Lure left off. In this book, Daisy and Owen are off on a quest to stop Daisy from turning into an Allure. Daisy is desperate to stop the change. She doesn’t want to stop being able to feel emotions and lose the way she feels about Owen, but her quest won’t be easy. In order to find answers, she will have to put her faith in people that she doesn’t trust. Lust was a quick and easy read for me, but I didn't enjoy Lust as much as I did Lure. I think part of that was due to the fact that I knew what the outcome of this book would be. It wouldn't be a four book series if everything was solved in this book. Also, this book mainly focuses on Daisy and Owen and their quest, so a lot of the other characters take a "back seat" in this story. While this book may not have been my favorite of the series, I can't wait to see what is going to happen in the next book because the end of this book broke my heart. A tough decision had to be made and I'm looking forward to seeing how everything turns out!

Daisy and Owen’s story continues where book one left off, trying to prevent Daisy from losing her emotions by becoming an Allure.

Alyssa! You did it AGAIN! You simply captured my attention, my heart and you are not willing to give them back! I hope it will stay that way for a very very long time!

Lust shows us the importance of emotions. Just like book one. Daisy and Owen finally found each other but even though they are together the doom of loosing ability to feel by Daisy is approaching them quickly. The time is not in their favour and they have to act now to find a cure for her if they want to save their love. Their future.

This book is turn, twists and so much more. Even though Alyssa is explaining so many things she is raising new ones all the time. Who Owen and Daisy can trust? Who is behind the whole thing? SO MANY questions.

Alyssa is a mastermind (kind of evil) with creating web of unaswered issues that just pull the reader into her world and is not willing to let them go. I just feel that there will be an epic ending to this series. And I definitely dread next part!

5 heavenly good stars!

Full Review at: What's Beyond Forks?

Lust is the second book in the Allures Chronicles by Alyssa Rose Ivy. These book need to be read in order, and they are soooo worth the read. The countdown is on. It's just days before Daisy turns into a full Allure and loses all her emotions including love. They journey to New Orleans and even further in search of help. After reading a book from one of Alyssa Rose Ivy's other series, I wondered if the worlds in her books co-existed.. they just might. That adds a whole other world of fun to her books. Literally. Her books & series just get better and better. It's pure craziness!

The ARC of Lust by Alyssa Rose Ivy was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

I was so excited to read more about Owen and Daisy, and Ivy really delivered. I really loved this book. In fact, I am in love with the main characters. The entire adventure was a wild ride, written by an extraordinary storyteller. I was riveted until the very end. Then, she delivered a heartbreaking cliffhanger that made me hope that the next book, Lost, could be delivered today.

**sigh** I am positive that Ivy will make it worth the wait… She always does. I highly recommend The Allure Chronicles, including the latest release. Now is the time to catch up if you haven’t already started!

5 stars!

I missed my Owen, he messes up yes but he says the nicest things, “ok. I’d rather be flying—with you. Or in bed with you for that matter.” Owen is always willing to go that extra mile for his woman, “if all else fails, we sneak off and have sex. That steadies you.” Owen cracks me up when he state the obvious at times, "I ran my hand down his bare chest to emphasize my point, and because he was too irresistible not too touch. “Yes, we are naked, aren’t we?” He pulled me on top of him." I didn't like this cliffhanger the others weren't as bad as this one so I'm eager for the next book.

Poor Daisy

She spent over two years in therapy and in ridicule because no one believed what happened in New Orleans. She finally decides to seek out Owen to gain closure. In the meantime she is losing her humanity. I feel for Daisy and the decisions she has to make, particularly the hardest. It is a hard decision, and I am not sure if she chose right, but either way it was an horrible situation either way. I am looking forward to the next book to see how it all turns out.
