The A-Z Mysteries...also known as the books that got me hooked on mysteries :)

If you've read the other Super Editions, then you know they're a bit longer than the A-Z volumes were. This book follows Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose as they piece together the clues of who is sending them secret messages. It's kind of a predictable case; there have been more intricate plots in the past books. However, it is fun to look for the letters and put together the message at the end of the book.

It is about how fourth graders Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose are getting mysterious messages from a secret admirer. The messages have clues that lead to the next clue. The kids also miss Valentines's Day when they were little because they had parties and got candy.

I have great memories of listening to the original A to Z mysteries with my kids. It was fun to revisit Josh, Dink, and Ruth Rose in a read aloud on Valentine's Day.

This book was so good I actually thought that Josh and Ruth Rose did this for Dink because this story always has twists. This book was heart warming. It starts of with the tree friends missing the old valentine days.The family realized this💝 and,In the end their family was the people who set up the mystery. How they got the clues was kind of out of the picture though, But the rest of the book was good.

Super cute holiday read. It was fun to unscramble the word puzzles along with the characters. I was actually surprised by some of the difficulty of the reading considering this is listed as a first chapter book. Enjoyable read for 3rd through 5th graders.
