Rich deposits of valuable metal ores are in control of a cult of savage men in the mountains who make sexual slaves of women. The Federation believes the cult is selling the ore to planets outside the Federation's Control. Therefore they are terrorists.
AJ💃💋 is a woman officer in the Federation. Her commander asks her to volunteer to go in alone to prove the ore selling allegations.

AJ is an undercover military officer on a covert mission on a planet settled by Earth—but that time forgot. Technology has passed them by. After being publicly humiliated, she’s given to Kaden, a warrior on a secret mission of his own.
AJ and Kaden have great chemistry. This book is off the charts hot. I enjoyed all the details and the attention to world-building. If you want a kinky, sexy read, you can’t go wrong with this one.

An interesting and well written twist on the 'alien capture' genre
This is a sci-fi romance with an almost historical or fantasy feel to it. I haven't read anything by Kallista Dane before, though I have seen her books mentioned by authors I follow. The blurb of this appealed to me, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by this.
AJ is a highly trained commander in the Interstellar Federation. She volunteers to travel through a portal to Neodyma, a planet settled by civilisations long thought to have died out. She enters the city of Petra disguised as a man, but is captured and taken for a humiliating intimate examination where it is decided she will join the harlots whose job is to pleasure the men of Petra. Her first night she meets Kaden, who seems nothing like the rest of the men she has encountered, and they form a bond. Can AJ escape and complete her mission, will she be able to persuade Kaden to help her?
I liked AJ, she was a strong woman and although she is highly trained she also recognised when it was in her best interest to 'obey' and when to fight back. On Earth people no longer indulges in relationships with each other and use a mix of simulators and probes for sexual pleasure. I loved how she struggled with intimacy, particularly kissing.
Kaden is a very alpha male hero but also completely caring of and sensitive to AJ. He protects her so well without demeaning her or belittling her. Their chemistry was intense and very believable.
Whilst the story had hints of being 'formulaic' (captured earth woman, humiliated in public, taken by a dominant alpha, spanked, falls in love etc) it was lifted out of the everyday by the quality of it's writing and some unique aspects to its plot. I found the authors writing style very easy to read and follow and read this pretty much in one go. Whilst it doesn't have a huge emotional impact it is still a very pleasant romance and very steamy to boot. If you like alien romance stories then this is definitely one to try.

Commander AJ Norris was sent to Neodyma to infiltrate and find out what General Tok was doing. Interstellar Federation was aware of him selling minerals on the black market. If it got into the wrong hands it could spell disaster for the people of Neodyma. The few people that were sent from Earth have never returned. When her cover is blown, she is taken in hand and punished. Once her bottom is reddened she is given to Kaden to serve. She learns the true passion within her.
The new title, "Savage" is the same story but with a few changes. Earth has become a cold world. No longer enjoying passion. Everything is more mechanical and controlled. When AJ finally experienced a true orgasm and passion, things changed in her eyes. You could feel the pain of the tail and the punishment. Kaden opens her mind to all the passion, plus he gives her a cute name. He too has a mission that needs to be completed. I love that these two found each other in a crazy world and even saved those that felt their fate lost.

Re-released under the new title Savage: Warriors of the Seven Stars Book 1.
I really enjoyed the sci-fi aspect of the story where portals all over the universe provided methods of transport or escape for the original people of earth to then develop their own civilization and culture in another place. The safety of many planets on the line, of course an undercover operation would be the only answer. It was interesting to see AJ as a military commander deal with the patriarchal hierarchy of this New World, subjected to the the whims, and discipline of those in charge. Kaden as in Atlantean made for a wonderful lead character, also interested in what was happening on this planet. It was interesting to see the reactions and personal growth particular for AJ within this D:s environment. It was even better to see HEA at the end.

This is the third book I've read by this author, and is definitely my favorite. The story is a sci/fi capture fantasy and firmly in one of my favorite plot lines. The author did a good job of keeping the heroine strong, and clear thinking, but also submissive and increasingly open to her sexuality. A balance too often missing from books of this sort.
Amanda is from a future Earth where sexual needs are met with technology and not human contact. She is sent on an undercover mission to a planet that embraces human sexuality in all its messy glory, specifically to a city where women are being enslaved by an evil megalomaniac who doles them out to his favored male citizens at whim. Amanda is clearly unprepared for her role and, in fact, I wondered for a time if she'd been set up by her commanding officer.
The outcome was most satisfying, although not terribly surprising. I recommend this book to those who like capture fantasies containing lots of hot spankings, and work out well in the end. There is a sequel, but this book stands very well on its own.

I enjoyed this book from page one until the end! Whew, what a hot, steamy romance! The premise for the story is unique and the plot is loaded with danger, suspense, and steamy sexy stuff that will keep you on your toes until the very end. The characters are strong and believable and you can't help but cheer them on. Written very well with enough detail to help you 'see' what is happening! Loved it! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy

This was a delightful enteraining book with some Si-Fi and a spanking romance. It had a strong alpha male and a tall beautiful young women. Woman were second class citizens with no rights. There was romance, mystery, suspense, danger, public whipping of women. I enjoyed this book very much.
