[The School for Good and Evil 2-Book Box Set; PB 9780062424372]

Enjoy Soman Chainani's New York Times bestselling series, The School for Good and Evil, in this paperback box set featuring the first two books—The School for Good and Evil and The School for Good and Evil: A World Without Princes.

This is an epic journey to a dazzling new world in which best friends Sophie and Agatha enter the School for Good and Evil, where ordinary boys and girls are trained to be fairy-tale heroes and villains. Sophie, with her glass slippers and pink dresses, thinks she'll earn top marks at the School for Good. Meanwhile, Agatha, with her shapeless black frocks and wicked black cat, seems a natural fit for the School for Evil.

But when the two girls are swept into the Endless Woods, they find their fortunes are reversed…. The aftermath leads to unexpected paths, new alliances, and an exhilarating quest to find their true Ever After.

Soman Chainani has created a spectacular world that Rick Riordan, author of the bestselling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, says "reimagines the world of fairy tales and will make you question who is good and who is evil," and that Newbery Medal-winning author Ann M. Martin calls "a fairy tale like no other, complete with romance, magic, humor, and a riddle that will keep you turning pages until the end."

Great Two first books of the series! The second one was a little slow, but they're still good

I was very excited to read this series after watching the mediocre movie on Netflix that is based off the first book, and well I can say the story is far better in these novels, and the world in the book just feels a little more threshed out. However, the characters in the novel are actually quite irritable. I won’t be continuing this series after accidentally spoiling myself and finding out that the characters if anything get worse (not all of them, just some of them). The movie has one thing that absolutely destroys this book, and that thing is Sofia Wyllie and her biceps as she kills the headmaster with the sword. Tedros is also a loser in these books he’s a bit more redeemable in the movie like I can somewhat root for him, whereas in the books I’m like Agatha, RUN AWAY. Ugh I just wish Agatha and Sophie could be seen for what they truly are, a lesbian couple forced to conform to a straight society except with a bunch of fairy dust and evil witches.

Have been reading this along with daughter. Although, I found one of the characters a bit annoying in this second book, it certainly accurately portrays the feelings of pre-teen, teenage life when one finds them self trying do spread their time between their best friend and new heartthrob. My daughter got so mad at one character during our reading that she seethed "why can't she just be erased" It also keeps you guessing til the end about who is really good and who isn't. Ready to move to the next book. Highly recommend this series.

This book was about two best friends and one of them wished for a different ending. That causes them to go back to the school of good and evil and everything there has changed.

These two books were really great. The first book was confusing when I first read it a year or two ago, but after rereading it, I understood it. The best part of the first book was Sophie trying all different ways to get with Tedros, but in the end, it is Agatha who gets him because Sophie is in the school for evil and Agatha is in the school for good. But, something goes wrong. What is it? Read the book to find out. The second book was also a good one. In this book, Sophie and Agatha ruin the fairy tale world with their fairytale (not telling how) and they must do what it takes to make it right again. Plus, there is a new dean. What's she up to? What's happening? Find out by reading the book.

This book set is one of my favs. I'm a student and I like to read such stories. Must say that it's so similar to real life if we talk about the moral of the story. You may get help with your homework from some sources as https://essays.studymoose.com/researc... , but it didn't make you a bad person. You might become a bad one after bad treatment of others. It's very nicely served in these books.
