During a pre-Christmas ball, Daisy kisses a boy she shouldn't have, while Susan may have done more than that with McGraw. Esther dreads going home for holiday break for fear of running into her ex.
Three stars purely for Susan's post-dance walk of shame and the banter that brewed as a result. This series is fun and definitely realistic. I like the development of the relationships between the girls but I thought some were a little out of character this issue.
"We don't patronize the high street multiples with their sweat-shopped chic. We go vintage, where the person who made your outfit-" "-is probably dead? Like the former owner? All of them, dead."
I didnt know I needed this comic in my life until now. After I read the first volume I fell in love. The characters are real and funny. And I like how even though they are all from different extremes they mesh well together as friends. ^_^
This is a perfectly good comic book covering kids of student age. It's extremely realistic, as I recall. But where's the guts of the story? By now, I aught to be seeing more than just the usual angst. A werewolf or three would be great.
