I love this series
Susan has meticulously curated the town of Fools Gold. As each character develops you see a wider scope of the town and it almost makes you long for the nonexistent place. Your heart breaks. It sings. She really makes you feel apart of it all. I'm hooked and I can't put this series down. I don't know what I'll do when it's over!

Awesome
I loved the book and the series. Susan Mallery is one of my favorite authors. Her storylines are emotionally charged. You physically feel all the emotions each of the characters is feeling at all times.

I enjoy this series--but they are kind of like corn puffs--fun to eat but no real substance.
As with the other books in this series, the endings are both abrupt and she often uses the public announcement in front of a big crowd to ask the h to marry him. that's one of my least favorite plot devices. The other thing I've noticed in this series is that it seems like ALL the parents are either jerks or dead. Seems like high odds....

Enjoyed the stories but I'm wishing there were a bit more differences with themes and endings.
Before We Kiss - this I'd give 3 stars. Despite the fact I was loving the growth and development between Sam and Dellina, Fayrena annoys the hell out of me. If they had cut her out completely, I'd say the story would have been 4+ star worthy.
