The storyline is mesmerizing, fascinating and you will skip eating and sleeping to finish this book, the story is paced very well. I can't say it enough it's a Fantastic read. The characters are engaging, mind blowing, the dialogue is witty, it's what you fantasize about.

Homer has been sent to the city by his alpha for trade while he waits he hears a scream Oh my it's a woman and she's pregnant, she is being attacked. But Mate she is his mate but where's the baby's father it doesn't matter Homer will kill him and claim his mate and the baby.

It's been a year since the Dragon Wars ended. The wars caused devastation but the werewolf cities might even be worse off today than they were then. Before they banded together to fight a common enemy but now with packs gone they have turned against one another. The exception is the Owen Pack. Homer Prinze followed Robert Owen during the war; when it ended he followed his Alpha home. Now in the city picking up supplies for the pack he finds his mate. She needs help and he is determined to provide it for her. Camille is pregnant, running from a dangerous man. She has done what she needs to in life to survive but it hasn't been easy. She is damaged. She has never known the safety of a good pack and fears men. It's hard for her to trust Homer and it seems that the pack is too good to be true. But Camille is stronger than she gives herself credit for and more trusting. Homer saved her and when he needs help she is determined to save him.

Wow! Evermore packs a punch. It's an emotional journey. Shared childhood experiences. Each facing hardships as an adult; facing danger daily, one on the war-front, one on the streets. A chance meeting, a rescue, too little time to get to know one another when tragedy strikes again. The ups and downs of Homer and Camille's meeting and mating are heartrending. Homer is everything honorable, Camille is a survivor. These two deserve a happily ever after but are prepared to settle for a good enough. Fate owes them more after all they have faced.

Actions and adventure. A love story. Redemption and second chances. Happiness. This is a wonderful story with an ending that made me laugh with joy.

Here I'm frustrated again, the story takes place one year after the previous one and we don't really know what happened in between when some characters were sent to end the dragons.
This couple was cute, the hero especially patient, and the story interesting. However once again this needs a lot of editing.

This action packed paranormal romance made me laugh and cry. It gripped me from beginning to end and I loved it.

I love Rebecca Royce's books. I've bought and thoroughly enjoyed quite a lot of them over the years, and this one is just as good. She never disappoints. 'Evermore' is the fourth book in the Dragon Wars series of action packed paranormal romances and I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. It had me in it's grip from beginning to end. It made me laugh and cry and had me sitting on the edge of my seat desperate to find out what happened next. I absolutely loved it.

The dragon wars ended a year ago when the Dragon Queen and her biggest nest of eggs were destroyed and the werewolves and their mates, led by Robbie Owens, their commander during the wars, have settled down in the Owens' brothers home town as a functioning pack with Robbie as their Alpha. They need to negotiate with the shady characters in the nearest city for supplies, a job normally undertaken by Robbie, but he chose to send Homer Prinze this time. Homer hates the city with it's crowds and stink. He can't wait to leave and go home, but he has two hours before meeting with the suppliers at his truck. On his way back there to wait, a cry of fear catches his attention and given all the other noise around him, he can't figure out why, but he is compelled to follow the sound and finds a heavily pregnant female wolf trying to fend off two male wolves, both high on the dragon drug, with a stick. Once he sorts through everything he's scenting, he realises that the woman is his true mate. A gift he never thought he'd be given, but she's exhausted and sick, so after he deals with her attackers, he takes her home.

Camille Kendrick has been alone in the world and living on the streets since she was eight years old. She's made a lot of bad decisions in order to survive, but by far the worst was getting involved with the father of her child a year ago, and she's been on the run from him for a while when the man rescues her. She thinks he's her true mate, but she has no experience of what that actually means or what life can be like in a functioning pack and her new home, as well as the people in it, are a revelation to her.

I'm not going to give any spoilers, but this action packed story is filled with fantastic characters, love, warmth, trust, steamy bits, hope, retribution, good guys, bad guys, battles to fight and, despite a very rocky road, a happily ever after for true mates Homer and Camille. It had bits that made me laugh and bits that made me reach for the tissues, but I absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next one.

Gosh I love this Series, Ms. Royce's gift with the pen / keypad is just amazing. No matter what she write it's golden.

Now a year after the end of the wars Homer stood with Robbie who was now his Alpha. Waiting in the stinky city for his supplies, Homer smelt something else beside the stink. He started running to the smell....MATE....

taking her virginity abused and whipped her. This man who made a living of selling drugs, wanted to lock her in a room as his property. As pregnant as she was Camille  ran as fast and as far away as she could. Only to be saved by Homer her Mate.....

This is a great story of shifters and survival. After a war between dragons and werewolves, a pregnant woman is in peril and saved by her mate. While she is pregnant by another man, Homer claims her and her child as his own and goes to the ends of the earth to protect and defend what is his. A wonderful book and first one I have read in this particular series. But I will be going back to read the rest. Rebecca Royce creates characters you can't help but fall in love with-for all their flaws and vulnerabilities.

Homer worked alongside Robby and Auggie Owens during 17 years with an Elite group of soldiers.
Now the war is over and he recognises Robbie as his Alpha. Sent on a supply run he attempts to avoid the worst smells in the ruins but when he smells a unique, powerful scent he follows it, knowing that his mate is on the end.

Camille hates herself for what she did to survive. She essentially sold herself to a drugs supplier in order to be safe. But when she got pregnant he turned up the cruelty another notch. Now running for her baby's life as well as her own, Camille is cornered and in trouble. Enter one tall, deadly wolf who defends her and takes her to safety. But no mate is going to want to raise another wolf's child..is he?

I loved Homer! He is honour, integrity and sexiness in one musclebound package! Camille is strong and a survivor. She is the one who finally comes up with a plan, a pretty good one, to get rid of the dangers which keep attacking the pack. Add in some backwoods drug dealers and a deal with the devil to set Homer and the others free.

Can't wait for book 5!

Oh wow this writer really knows how to catch my attention and weave and amazing tale.
Homer is a were wolf in the special forces in the dragon wars. Because of the his family thinks he is dead. How that the war is hopefully over the men in his team have formed a pack. While on a job for the pack alpha in a large smelly city he comes across a women needing his help. His mate.

Camille lost her father at age 4 then her mom at 8. She did what she had to in order to stay alive. Even hooking up with the biggest drug dealer around. When she can take no more she runs. In a time of danger she runs into her mate.
I love the amazing action, mystery, twist and turns in this story with some really great characters. It's really a fantastic story that I just didn't want to put down or for it to end. Plot twist within plot twist you will never get bored
Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.

We met Homer in the earlier books as he worked with Robby and Augie. So naturally when the war was over, he chose to stay with them and join their pack. A simple supply run in to the city turns out to be the most important day of his life. Camille has been through a lot. Doing whatever necessary to survive, she's found herself pregnant and running for her and her baby's lives. She never thought she'd meet her mate, especially not pregnant with another man's baby.
As with the other books in this series, you are drawn in by the characters and kept intrigued with all the action. Just b/c the war is over doesn't mean all the problems have gone away. There was plenty going on in this book too. Can't wait for the next and last book in the series!

Book four in the dragon wars series is about elite soldier Homer. In the aftermath of the war Homer scents the most beautiful smell ever, his mate!!

Camille is cornered by two large men, trying to protect herself when a gorgeous smelling male steps in and helps her. Her mate although she scared senseless, especially as she is heavily pregnant

I love the the relationship between Homer and Camille, there is plenty of excitement and drama in this the fourth book of the series. I really enjoyed it and am hoping for Auggies story next

WOW! Love this story! The war is done and Homer in the city for his alpha when he hears a cry and finds his mate but she's pregnant. When he brings her to the pack the 2 start to get to know each other. Though Camille doesn't want to say who got her pregnant when it comes to keeping her secret or saving Homer there isn't a choice.

What a great addition to this series! Full of surprises, love, and heat. Plus you get to see the others from previous books always great to have. You don't necessarily have to read the other stories to read this one but you should oh you should! I received a copy under no obligation.

The aftermath of war
The Dragon Queen may be dead but some dragon are still alive. But more importantly are the eggs that are still around in different places. The same eggs that a drug is made from that is addicting to shifters. The drug Lords are having a harder time finding these drugs, and it’s affecting many.
Homer Prinze has a mission in the city but ends up coming home with a mate who is pregnant. And the father of her child is one of the worse and cruelest of them all.
Lots of action and adventure is this well-written and self-contained story that’s also part of a series.

Evermore is the fourth installment in the Dragon War series by Rebecca Royce. This is Homers story, an elite soldier recently home from the long Dragon Wars. On a trip into the city on assignment from his Alpha he hears the distress cries of a woman and follows the sound into an alley. This is where he discovers his Mate fending off two werewolves. His very pregnant Mate.

Camille is a woman on the run. She has lived on the streets since she was 8 years old and for the past year has lived with an abusive werewolf. After Homer rescues her and she tells him a little about her history this is where a serious contradiction in the story was made and was not picked up and fixed during the editing process.

She tells Homer that she took up with this man because he wanted to have a child and she was starving. Later on she says she took up with him because he wanted to take her virginity and doesn't care at all about the child, and in fact beat her when he found out she was pregnant. A very annoying discrepancy in the story to me. There were also several incorrect words used in sentences that could have been corrected by someone manually reading the manuscript instead of relying on spell check. This has proven to be a common problem in ebooks so I can't say that it happens just with this author's books. On a positive note there were a lot less of them then there have been in other stories I have read.

Having picked apart the technical aspects of the book I can then say this very short story, really a novella, was a good addition to the series. Homer and Camille were a sweet couple. Homer has serious complications as a result of something that happened to him when he was kidnapped and because of this he finds it difficult to bond with his mate and forgive himself for what happened. Camille is very patient with him and after she has the baby, and he is finally able to introduce her to the 'joys of sex with your Mate,' (because of course the sex she had with the father of her baby was horrible) their bond is complete and off they go to romp together as wolves in the woods. Queue the sunset and sappy music. That wasn't sarcasm but really how I felt when I read the ending.

This can very easily be read as a stand alone even if you have not read the others in the series. In all honesty, while this has proven to be a very pleasant series to read, it's not really my favorite of hers. I much prefer her longer novels, especially 'The Outsiders' series. Those I am truly addicted to. But for a quick, short read, with some sizzling sex thrown in, it's quite enjoyable.

I have enjoyed all the stories in this series. It is a dark story of a society decimated by war . The werewolves are just free of their war with the dragons and they don't have the structure in their society that alphas and clans provided before the war. Homer is fortunate to have an alpha and be part of a clan. He is on a mission for his alpha when he scents his mate. She is pregnant and needs his help. Camille is not used to having someone care about her and it takes time for her to accept he is being truthful with her and wanting to take care of her and her child. She is just coming to accept her mate when there is a situation that places Homer in great danger and their roles reverse.

While there is a darkness to the the storyline, there is also hope in that many of those who risked their lives in the war are now getting a chance at love. I liked Homer and Camille and that the author gave them time to really build a relationship rather than rush into a sexual situation. I feel more invested in the story when the author takes that time to develop the characters and their relationship. Camille has struggled hard since childhood to survive and I have respect for her desire to protect her child at all costs. It is also great to visit with the other characters from previous books.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

Well, now I wanna read the other books in the series because this one is pretty darn good! I of course love werewolves but I also love dragons. However the dragons aren't the good guys but the werewolves are! Homer is an alpha werewolf, but after the dragon wars, he chooses to stand beside his friend, who he feels is a true alpha. But when he finds his mate, and her presence could bring danger to his pack, he's willing to give it all up to help her. And keep her. Ps, I loved Robbie too, their alpha :)

So this book is based on Camille and homer being mates but man, there's intrigue, espionage, kidnapping, torture, and of course some good old fashion action- so the romance just blends it all together! It's more a novella but it didn't matter that it was short- well I wanted more but I'm greedy! The story is fully functional and well done if I might say. Camille has a past that she'd rather hide from but she needs homer's help to live- survive. She wants him but she doesn't know love, she hasn't had it. And now she's carrying a baby, so she needs help, and she's going to have to get it somewhere.

I liked the writing style. I loved the story line so I'm gunna have to go backwards- I know I do this all the time. I liked the alpha and his mate, as well as his brothers. And I want to see more. 5 WOLFY PAWS!!

I loved this book! It was cute and sweet and well worth reading!
Homer is a wolf who was a part of a secret elite ops team during the dragon wars. The wars have been over for a year now and they are dealing with the fallout. He is lucky enough to live in a pack when packs are few and far between. He is running an errand in the city when he hears a woman crying out. The woman is Camille. She is pregnant and running from an abusive ex. She is the daughter of a traitor and has never lived pack life that she can remember. Homer and Camille realize they are mates and make an effort to make it work between them. However, there is an unusual occurrence on the borders and Homer goes to check it out and ends up being kidnapped. He is shot full of extremely addictive drugs before he is rescued. He then has to rehab from the drugs and make up for his actions while he was under.
It was a good book. I didn't read the previous books before reading this one and I think I would have benefited from reading them first. However, this did work as a standalone. It had enough detail that I got a good picture of what was happening. Homer was very sweet and Camille was very strong. I liked the pack dynamic and the premise of the world seems very interesting. I am definitely going to look at reading the other books in the series.

Evermore (Dragon Wars, #4)
by Rebecca Royce

Homer Prinze is a strong, dominate wolf. One of the fastest shifters in his group. Now that the Dragon War is basically over, Robbie, his Commander and "Alpha" is putting a pack back together. Homer is part of that pack now. Robbie sends him into the city to acquire some supplies and he acquires so much more. He has found his mate, but she is very pregnant and very sick. She needs him and he must care for her.

Camille has been on her own for many years. Being desperate, she trusts a man to take care of her, like he said he would, only to be abused again and again. She is finally able to escape, but is cornered by two drugged up men. She knows she probably won't make out of this mess, but for her baby she has to do what she can. She is both relieved and wary when a man shows up and rescues her, as her one and only experience/relationship with a man was not a good one.

Homer needs to prove to Camille that he isn't anything like Derek and he sets out to do just that. While trying to figure out why so many sick dragons are showing up in their area, Homer goes missing. Camille knows something is very wrong and she will do whatever she needs to do to save him.

The war is over and just begun. The Dragons are defeated and dying and the wolves have to find a way to live again. The packs were forcibly disbanded and now they have to either create new ones or figure out how to live without. Werewolf Homer Prinze has found a pack with Robbie Owens and his family. He just wants to start rebuilding his world. He hadn’t even though of a mate. Camille Kendrick has been on her own for a long time. She has done things to stay alive that she isn’t proud of. Now she is on the run. She meets Homer when he rescues her from two wolves intent on raping and killing her even though she is pregnant. Pregnant or not she is his mate. His wolf howls with delight. Now all he has to do is earn her trust and keep her safe. That may be harder than he thought.
Homer is the sweetest most wonderful wolf. He is patient and kind. But even the sweetest wolf has a breaking point. That’s when Camille’s strength comes through proving the fates really knew what they were doing when they made these two mates.

Having never read any of the previous Dragon Wars books, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to truly appreciate this book, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Although it would have been nice to know all of the history, I found it was not necessary in order to understand and/or thoroughly enjoy this book. I was already a Rebecca Royce fan from her Outsiders series, so I was already well aware of her writing proficiency and was not surprised to find the same level of excellence in this book. The characters were real, believable, and complex and I found myself invested in their story very quickly. Homer is so patient and honest and protective. Camille is so strong and such a survivor. Their love story was so endearing. Homer took his time. He courted Camille and never rushed her love for him. It was truly beautiful. Overall, I found the book to be romantic, compelling, dramatic, charming, engaging, sensual, and completely enthralling. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet and sexy read.

Evermore by author Rebecca Royce is book 3.5 of The Dragon Wars Series, and part of All Romance Ebook's A Wicked Tale Series. You really need to read the Dragon Wars series by Ms Royce to understand this book completely. I am a huge fangirl of the series so I loved this addition.
Homer Prinze has been a secret soldier during the dragon wars. Now he hopes to be part of a pack again. Something he missed being a soldier. His family thought he was dead. So he wants to find a mate and start over. Be something more than just a weapon.
Camille Kendrick has been through hell and back. She is pregnant by a dragon drug dealer. She doesn't have family since she was 8 years old. She has known nothing but survival. She is a strong heroine with the will to live. She also is a loving person. I liked that her life had not taken her good heart from her.
Together these two find more than love and family. They each have something the other needs and together they are unbeatable. This is a heart wrenching addition to this series and I really never wanted it to end. When you want, action, adventure, and lots of love this is the book to pick up.

Once again I found myself lost in a great story. Rebecca Royce has built a great world with her Dragon Wars series an\d this newest story does not disappoint. Camille and Homer's story is a wonderful read. Just when the two find each other circumstances continue to keep them apart. Their story had a few twists and turns that I did not expect and I cannot wait to see just where the author takes us in the next book.

Camille and Homer are both have a lot of inner strength and we get to see just how much when they have to endure the problems that come for them. I loved watching Homer prove to Camille just what a good man is and seeing Camille blossom made for a great read. It was nice to see the two fight for their love no matter what happened.

I enjoyed watching Camille and Homer's story unfold. Seeing the other pack members again was a nice touch and I cannot wait to see what the author has next for this world.

Finding your true love can be a exciting time to any shifter, especially to a werewolf who is dead to his family due to the dragon wars.
Homer is that wolf. Out getting supplies for his pack. He comes across a scent so sweet it's driving him nuts. The cry of distress is driving him even faster. Finding out what and who it is, is going to be a synch.
Camille is trying to get away from it all and fighting for her life at the moment another big strapping male comes in to save her. She has more in her mind then just herself. She has a baby to care for when it gets here. And perhaps she can make the most of it. But seeing this strapping make has awoken something in her that she thought was dead. Can she open up to him and live as two wolves should? What will happen on their journey to know each other?

How is love possible when all is lost?

Werewolf Homer Prinze wants nothing more than to complete his assignment and get out of the wasteland that is the city. The dragons have destroyed everything, but a cry catches his attention. Before he knows it, he has met his mate. She needs his help and he is going to give it to her.

Camille is no one's idea of great mate. Pregnant and alone, she is scarred and not looking for a companion in the hard world in which she lives.

But when Homer needs her, she will risk everything to bring him home.

I really love this series and how well written it is and the world its built in.

This time though i couldn't connect with the characters.

I loved them both yet i don't know there was something that i couldn't make it click.

I still can't wait to read more !!!!

Homer finds Camille when he is on a supply mission into the city. He realizes she is his mate, pregnant and sick so he takes her back to his pack lands where she can get proper care. After years of wars, he is amazed to have found her because so many werewolves died. Drama ensues with the drug-addled hill wolves but it all works out in the end.

This is a sweet and short love story. I liked this story but it all wrapped up too neatly for me. This is definitely an insta-love and a happily ever after story with a few dramatic points thrown in. I give the author major points for coming up with a entirely different premise than any others that I have read previously. The heat level is minimal but considering the story, it fits so I didn't feel cheated.

This one has quite the metaphorical punch; post war, death and destruction to love, babies, and new beginnings. Fabulous look into the post Dragon Wars world, well written with familiar characters you can’t help but love! Homer finds his mate Camille among the debris of the destroyed city, pregnant and trying to fight off two beasts stoned out of their minds. Not a great foundation for a happily ever after; add in illness, abduction, and drug abuse and you have too ask if love can survive. Loved the book, well technically I love the whole series so far! Definitely a must read recommendation!!

This is book 4 of this series and it just keeps getting better! When I saw Rebecca wore book 4 I was so excited I couldn't get the book fast enough.

Even though things are so damaged in this world her books bring you to its so great to read about the strength and determination of her characters. They are werewolves and of course they are strong but in this series it's more their morales, inner strength, character in such desperate times that is the focus. In this story Homer finds his mate but in the worst situation that he must come to her rescue and he ends up in a worse situation and she must rescue him right back

Her books are such a joy to read!

I have been reading this series from the beginning and I always think the next one won't be as good. Thank goodness I'm always wrong and Evermore was no different. Evermore is the story of Homer and Camille, Homer was a soldier during the war and Camille is his mate. She had a hard life during the war and was pregnant by someone else. The story follows them on a journey of revenge, sacrifice, and love. If you have read the other stories in the series, you will love Evermore and if you haven't, you will not be disappointed with the story.
