Great Principles! Here's a few things this great book offers:

You alone are responsible for what you do, don’t do, and the attitude you have for what is being done to you.

No matter what happens, you are 100% responsible to be in control of yourself.

Your preparation is your responsibility. The more you prepare, the better you are equipped for things. Good sports players usually prepare more than the normal person — so it’s preparation, not luck.

Time to stop whining about the cards you were dealt and do something with them. People less fortunate have done more because they have not used excuses.

The day you graduate from childhood to adulthood is the day you decide to take full responsibility for your life.

The difficulty is not doing big things but doing little things over and over to form the right habits.

The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that successful people are going to do the things unsuccessful people are not willing to do.

All winners are trackers. If you learn tracking, you can do much more. Track how you use your time, how much work you accomplish, what you eat, when you exercise, what you do with your money, etc.

It’s the little disciplines that make the difference. It’s the small things that separates the ordinary from extraordinary.

We all know what to do, it’s doing it that is the hard part.

Adults make a plan and follow it, children just do what they feel like doing.

Where our attention goes there follows the rest of our lives. You can say that you love your family, dedicated to your work, or are all about something else, but your time spent proves more than what you say.

The secret of success is found in your daily routine.

To work affectively, you must learn the power of focus. In order to focus, you have to ignore him distractions.

Our life is made of memories and experiences. We should constantly try to make both better.

Consistency is key to success.

Winning the race is all about the pace. You have to keep moving or you will lose momentum and soon the whole race. It’s the tortoise and hare principal.

Your influence determines the majority of your success, so be careful who you allow to influence your life.

The people you associate with will either slow down your pace or help pick up your pace.

Find people in your life who will be honest enough to tell you the weaknesses and strengths they see if your life. If you do this, you are on your way to big growth.

The best athletes and most successful people are the ones who are willing to pay big money to implement coaches in their lives.

Something that is quite promising about the book is the clear message of accountability.
No gimmicks and shortcuts. The author asks you to have a long term perspective and do what you think is necessary to succeed. Finally, he tells you what happens when you make those small incremental efforts which drives the point home quite well.

Need some motivation or clarity. This is the book for you.
