Perahim
Peut-on échapper à son destin? Perahim le croit, lui qui revient de l'enfer. Il a survécu à dix ans de travaux forcés dans les mines de sel, à dix ans d'écrasement. Le commissaire Catran qui connaît bien l'endroit où se trouvait le gangster est stupéfait. Jamais jusqu'à présent aucun homme n'en était sorti vivant. Pourtant Perahim est là devant lui, mince, inflexible, toujours jeune. Il veut rependre sa place dans la société, recommencer sa vie, renier son passé. Il ne désire pas grand'chose, simplement que la police le laisse tranquille. Il travaillera et s'occupera de sa mère. Il a rompu avec la pègre, plus jamais le commissaire Catran n'entendra parler de lui et lorsque Perahim le quitte, tout semble possible.

Virgil Gheorghiu was born in Valea Albă, a village in Războieni Commune, Neamţ County, in Romania. His father was an Orthodox priest in Petricani. A top student, he attended high school in Chişinău from 1928 to June 1936, after which he studied philosophy and theology at the University of Bucharest and at the Heidelberg University.
He traveled and stayed in Saudi Arabia to learn the Arabic language and the Arab culture, before writing the biography of prophet Mohammed. The book was translated from Romanian to French and to Persian in Iran and in Urdu in Pakistan. Unfortunately, this book was never translated into English. Its Hindi translation is being printed in India and expected to be available by Jan. 2020, with the Hindi title saying "A prophet you do not know".
Between 1942 and 1943, during the regime of General Ion Antonescu, he served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania as an embassy secretary. He went into exile when Soviet troops entered Romania in 1944. Arrested at the end of World War II by American troops, he eventually settled in France in 1948. A year later, he published the novel Ora 25 (in French: La vingt-cinquième heure; in English: The Twenty-Fifth Hour), written during his captivity.
Gheorghiu was ordained a priest of the Romanian Orthodox Church in Paris on May 23, 1963. In 1966, Patriarch Justinian awarded him the cross of the Romanian Patriarchate for his liturgical and literary activities.

El regreso del Gangster es un libro que nos muestra la historia de Perahim, un gangster que lucha por no volver a las minas de sal luego de que lo condenaran a pagar sus errores.
Perahim hará lo que sea para no volver a una mina de sal y está dispuesto a dejar su pasado atrás si es necesario para comenzar una nueva vida sin errores, pero no todo siempre sale como se planea ¿verdad?
La historia da un giro inesperado cuando alguien de su pasado llega a su vida dispuesto a hacerlo pagar por los errores que cometió.
Una historia llena de suspenso, y un drama fascinante de un hombre en rebelión contra su destino.
OPINION
Sin duda me ha encantado, es un libro super ligero de leer pero es difícil procesar todo lo que pasa. Me lo he terminado en una tarde y se ha convertido en uno de los primeros libros que sin duda recomendaría a alguien que le interese leer y reflexionar al mismo tiempo.
Es un libro que te transporta y te hace revivir lo que los sentimientos de los personajes.
Este libro esta lleno de suspenso, pero sobre todo sorpresas que nunca te esperas, te enseña a valorar lo que tienes y te enseña el valor de tus actos en el pasado.
