Short but incredibly steamy, Devlin gave us a surprisingly sexy story considering it's short length. It's a relatively classic plot, but what Devlin did with it took it to a whole new level.
Three brothers, all in love with the same girl. And the girl? Well, she claims she loves them all equally. However, I have my doubts. Her love for each of the men is as different as the men themselves. Wild and carefree, kind and loving, and heart pounding are just some ways to describe how she cares for each of them. Although we are to believe that Angelina loves the McAffee brothers equally, her every action leads us to believe her feelings for Brand are stronger. And years later, when she returns to the ranch, it is Brand who's approval and feelings she's most concerned with.
Even though Family Values is a short novella, it is surprisingly full of story, plot and definitely full of complex feelings. Devlin hit it out of the park with this one. It was a great story and I just did not want it to end.

The Good : Can’t complain about novella length smut with a good amount of sex, and just enough of a story that it doesn’t feel like just sex. The tension between the brothers and the competition for Angelina was a little different than every other MFMM menage, though the rest of the story does follow the fairly standard formula.
Everything in Between : There was nothing really objectionable with the story...or particularly compelling. There are some curious moments considering these are brothers, and the thought of swords crossing, even when it’s all focused on the heroine, is….yeah, it’s a bit weird. Angelina’s reluctance fades away fairly quickly, considering how long she was gone.

Angelina has always loved the three brothers, but after sleeping with one, and one of the other two walking in on them, he ships her off to college. Now she is back after her mother has called her and asked her to come and look after the three brothers (this is just a ruse to get her to come back for them).
At first she is a little hesitant to be back in the house that she once considered her home. She doesn't realise that all three of them are still deeply in love with her, and are desperate to make her realise their four way relationship would work.
I did find it a little strange that her mother had so much to do with their four-way relationship, I would be a little weirded out if I found out that it was my mother that actually got me into a relationship with three brothers. However, this is just my personal opinion.
This is a very short read, but there is quite a lot of story in this very short story, which I found fairly interesting.
The story line was a pretty good one, I found it fun reading the different ways the brothers tried to 'woo' her. Brand is the oldest, quiet but very protective brother, Nate is the playboy of the three who flirts openly with her, Eli is the gentle, romantic one.
Overall, a very quick smutty read with three hunky males.

After a long week of book hangover, it feels great to be finally able to read!! And what better than a M/F/M—how to add the third M without making it look like bisexual relationship here?— sexy story? I mean, one lucky girl and three sexy cowboys? YUM!! #DoublePenetrationAlert
Family Values was a short smut and romantic story about Angel and her three Princes. When she was a child, she used to think of her as a princess and Brand, Nate and Eli as her princes. When she was old enough she knew she loved them three equally and she couldn’t choose between them without breaking two hearts and obviously hers.
After an awkward situation with the McAffee brothers, she had to leave her house and she was so sure she couldn’t come back ever again, but four years later she is back and things look to be really different from when she left, except for one thing: Their feelings were intact.
I enjoyed reading this smut and romantic short story. I liked the writing style, the multiple POV was great to know all their feelings and it made this story more enjoyable. I also liked how the sex scenes were written, they were sensual and very explicit and they never felt never unpleasant.

Another great Lone Star Lovers book – HOT!
This book may be short in length but it packs plenty of punch! I love books by Delilah Devlin and her Lone Star Lovers series is one of my favorites. I can’t recall right off if all of them are some type of menage story or not but I know a lot of them are – including this one.
Angelina (Angel) loves three brothers but she was escorted from her home in shame when she was 18. Four years have passed and her mother begs her to return to cover for her at the ranch where she works so that she can go care for her sister, Angel’s aunt.
Angel is now older and wiser but she returns against her better judgment. Many things have changed during Angel’s absence – not all of them bad.
This story is hot, hot, hot!! You’ve been warned, if you can’t handle the heat stay out of the kitchen!

I really enjoyed reading Family Values, the story was well written and the connection between the characters will have you hooked until the very end.
Angelina Flores grew up on the McAffee ranch, the daughter of the housemaid she was treated like a princess by Brand, Nate and Eli the three McAffee boys.
Brand, Nate and Eli all loved having Angelina ‘Angel’ around but as they grew older their feelings of desire for her grew stronger but none of them new who she would choose.
One night, One choice, when she was eighteen forced Angel to leave the McAffee ranch for good she thought. But now her mother has called needing her help and Angel is heading back to her greatest regret. When Angel step onto the porch of the ranch all her memories come flooding back and those memories grow even stronger when she sees the McAffee boys. Have the McAffee boys finally found a way to keep Angel in their home or will what they ask of Angel ruin everything for all of them

Hot! This quick read is book 8 in the Lone Star Lovers series but can be read as a stand-alone. Angelina returns home to fill in for her mother while she goes to help out a sick family member. Angelina grew up on a Texas ranch, the daughter of the housekeeper the McAffee boys treated her like a princess and as they all grew up she fell in love with all of them. How could she choose between them and not hurt the others? So she left now that she is back the McAffee brothers have a plan and this time she won’t have to choose. Lots of emotion and the chemistry is hot. Great Read!

These 3 brothers finally were able to look past there own issues, and knew it was time to finally claim the one woman they've loved forever. Despite there unconventional union, love was stronger, and these 3 smoking hot cowboys got all therected dreams to come true with Angelina.
This was loving, sweet, full of forgiveness, compassion, soul mate pure love, smoking hot goodness

Delilah has done it again!
I had to read Family Values (Lone Star Lovers Book 8) all in one sitting. Could not stop reading. Love for the brothers kept Angelina away. But their love for her makes her want to stay. Angelina grew up on their farm. They knew her from when she was in pigtails and grown into the beautiful woman she is today.
The brothers, Brand, Eli, and Nate waited 4 years while Angelina was away at college to come up with the plan that instead of allowing Angel to just choose one of them, that they would ask her if she would be willing to share the 3 of them. When she comes home to the ranch she is nervous about how she left and is afraid to face them.
The men do all they can to open up to Angel and get her comfortable with them again. Then the romance begins along with some truly hot scenes. Can they make Angel come around to their way of thinking and start a relationship with all 3 of them?
My oh my what a great Ending! This is a must read by Delilah Devlin.

This is book 8 in the Lone Star Lovers series and it features ranchers, Brand, Nate and Eli MacAfee and housekeeper's daughter, Angelina Flores. I could feel the emotion while reading this story. I was surprised by Mama Amelia's reaction towards the whole situation. Brand struck me as the most sincere, the most in love and the most likely to stick around for the long run.
These four are the most unconventional of all the unconventional relationships in this little Texas town of Two Mule. Not complicated, just different. I do believe I've found a new favorite in this series.

Family Values had a lot of promise. It was a second chance romance and it was ménage . Two things that I always enjoy when I come to read a book. However there is a big but for me with this story it was only novella length and there was so much unsaid that could have been said .
In a classic cliché set up , Angelina is the daughter of the McAfee housekeeper and she was always treated as one of the family. Brand, Nate and Eli viewed them as family and with their own parents dead. They treated each other like blood. However as they grew up it was obvious that Angelina was becoming more then a sister to them. They were falling in love.
They were her princes and she their princess but it went all so wrong. Now they gets a second chance when in the present Devlin brings them together in this novella and a chance to sort themselves out.
It is not easy to sort a world of pain and we are quickly thrown in the deep end as we watch Angelina returned not knowing where she stands . Angelina has fallen for all of them and when she left at the tender age of eighteen she didn’t know what to do. Four years later , she is still the same. She loves them all, but each brother is different. Each have clear characteristics that make them standouts but Brand the oldest and the head of family is the one we have to deal with the problems. Those problems are complicated by his younger brothers who know what they want to do but can’t as Brand is questioning things.
Delvin delivered one sexy novella with some depth and feelings. Whilst the aim focus on Brand, I wished we got to see how much exactly affected the brothers as they had some past hurt as well. Well Angelina proclaimed she loved all brothers , I wished this conveyed as well as the decisions she made and the fact that Brand was at her fore mind when she did. It seemed tiny little bit of favorism.
Otherwise it was well written book that has come a re-read favourite because the tale that can be found under the cover and it combines two of my favourite things in a romance.

As the housekeeper's daughter, Angelina grew up as basically a member of the McAffee family. However, as Angelina and the three McAffee brothers grew up, they started seeing each other as more than family or friends. Angelina, acknowledging her attraction to all three brothers, doesn't know how to choose between the three. After Angelina realizes she can never choose one brother without everyone getting hurt she leaves for college and vows never to return. Four years later her mother needs her help and the McAffee boys, Brand, Nate, and Eli, need the one woman they've never gotten over or been able to forget. When Angelina returns to help her mother she is determined to maintain a professional and distant relationship with the three brothers- but they have other plans. Brand, Nate, and Eli are determined to show Angelina that they all care about her and that they can all be together and be happy despite conventional ideas of love and relationships.
This story was romantic and sexy. Like many short stories the plot was full and well-developed, but did feel somewhat rushed. The brothers talk about what a challenge it is going to be to get Angelina to open up to them and accept their ideas and it basically takes a day. Despite the condensed plot, the characters are written in a way that really differentiates them and gives them all unique and individual personalities. Family Values is a short 73 page contemporary western tale about a young girl who grew up on a ranch owned by a family with three handsome boys. This is the eighth tale in the Lone Star Lovers series. Once the girl comes of age, the boys start to get serious, and seriously jealous. After a huge falling out, the oldest brother escorts her from the house and she strikes out on her own for four years. When her mother calls her back home for a family emergency, she has to take up residence in the family’s home again…and the boys have been waiting. Angelina is determined to keep the guys at arm’s length and not cause a disturbance in the family again. Will they be able to find a way to make things work…as a foursome?
I have to admire the amount of story that the author managed to pack into 73 pages, but it could have been so much more! There is a lot of steamy hot loving happening in this book, and if you have reservations about experimentation and ménage…then get ready to expand your mind. Delilah Devlin is known for her smoking scenes, and Family Values is definitely a representation of her skills. It is a great before bedtime read or suitable for short commutes.

There is a lot of steamy hot loving happening in this book, and if you have reservations about experimentation and ménage…then get ready to expand your mind. Delilah Devlin is known for her smoking scenes, and Family Values is definitely a representation of her skills. It is a great before bedtime read or suitable for short commutes.

Family Values is a sweetly sexy ménage romance that I really enjoyed. It's an easy and lighthearted read with three hunky cowboys and an extremely lucky heroine who is at the centre of their attention. The storyline is straightforward, but it still managed to keep my attention from start to finish because the characters were so charming and likeable. It's a feel good book, it definitely put a big smile on my face.
Angelina grew up a ranch with three gorgeous cowboys, but as she grew older she realised she was in love with all three of them. When she was eighteen she knew she would have to choose one, but when she did her happy life at the ranch ended. Several years later she reluctantly returns to the ranch to help her mother who is the housekeeper. Brand, Nate and Eli all love Angelina and will do whatever it takes to keep the woman they love at the ranch - even if it means working together to seduce her into staying.
The three brothers are all gorgeous, but they have very different characters. My favourite was brooding Brand, although I do have a soft spot for cheeky Nate too. I love how they all put Angelina's needs and happiness above their own, she is one lucky girl! I really enjoyed this book so it receives five fabulous stars.

This short novella was ridiculous and sexy, and I mean that in the best of ways! One woman and three gorgeous men? Hell, I can definitely see the appeal! And the erotica was definitely well written.
Angelina is back home after four years, when she was sent away after making a serious mistake: she slept with one of the McAffee brothers. Her mother has been their housekeeper since she was a child, so she grew up around the three brothers... and grow up she did! She's gorgeous, they're hot, BAM, instant attraction.
You have to suspend your belief a bit when reading this. I mean, a polyamorous relationship in small town Texas, where being poly is miraculously considered acceptable? Hmmmm, okay.
There were a few issues I struggled with, and sometimes the language got a bit hokey for me ("her feminine core"?), but the novel is short and hot and a heck of a lot of fun! I love poly relationships, and while I'm not so sure about the McAffee brothers, I think Angelina is a pretty lucky woman to have scored three men who love her and want only her happiness!

When Angelina was 18, she had to choose between the three handsome brothers. After making her choice, the oldest one, Brand, sends her away to college against her will. Years later, she returns to the ranch she called home to fill in for her housekeeper mother. She is reluctant to see the brothers, again, but she is a much wiser than she was at the tender age of 18.
Brand feels terrible for taking her choices away and sending her off to college. All of them are still in love with the housekeeper’s daughter and want her in their arms. They each try to win her over and end up in a pairing some women dream about!
This was a quick, short, but very sexy read! It did not take me long to finish it, which is good because the heat factor was intense enough to make me not want to put it down. The characters are sexy and I found the way each brother wooed Angelina to be funny. It’s an enjoyable book that does not take much time to read.

This was short hot and steamy. This very short but was well developed and all the characters got their due. It did move extremely fast, but the characters had a past that was explained, so it wasn't like they all just met on the street. It did seem somewhat cookie cutter and a tad unrealistic. There were no real true conflicts that you think would come with their idea of relationship. I thought there should have been some kind of something. Brand was developed more then the other brothers. I have to say that if did not receive an ARC I would not have paid $2.66 for a 73 page very short story. I think it is way over priced for the amount of pages and your "bang" for your buck.

If you aren’t familiar with Delilah Devlin, her stories are short, hot, and to the point…and did I mention HOT? Family Values is heavy on the hot, not the plot, but there’s enough of a plot for the story to flow.
At eighteen Angelina made a bad decision that abruptly ended her relationship with the three men she’d grown up with and was cast out of her western paradise. Four years later the brothers have realized their mistake and have decided to take advantage of the fortuitous events bringing their angel back to the ranch. The door opens and sparks fly.

I think all 8 books would make one great novel. Each novella was very short more like chapters about each group. It all revolves around one town. Definitely have to read all these books in order. They are well written though a couple didn't seem complete. If you like hot steamy reads these are for you.
This book wasn't one of my favorites it definitely could have used a little more to the story. But it did fall in with the rest being hot and steamy.

I loved this book its the 8th in the series but well written...even though i jumped ahead a bit...it was definitely well worth it...can't wait to get more of the series...definitely had fun in this one....Angelina Flores definitely did have quite a bit of fun with Brand, Nate & Eli McAffee...sex guaranteed in this book! Definitely a 5 star read for me! Can't wait to read more of Delilah Devlin's books...

The first thing that caught my eye about this book was the cover, then I read the description and couldn’t wait to read the book. You could tell the characters had explosive chemistry. Though the book was a short read and a quick time line for the book, it was a great story. This was my first story by DD and I love what she did with it.

Angelina has always loved three brothers but knew trying to choose between them would destroy her and them. So she left. Now the brothers have decided that they have the answer, they will all have her. This ménage novella was a short but steamy read.

The start didn't make sense
This was not this author's best effort. The start of the book didn't make sense and this confusion followed threw the entire book. These men decided how things were going to be and never discussed it with Angel both past or present. It just didn't keep my interest. Ok read.

November 13, 2015Read this in less than 90 minutes. It moved well though the heroine vacillated between naive innocent and wanton sex goddess. My jaw dropped at the double vaginal penetration. Didn't expect that! And I'm not mad.
