Rate this book
Malcolm Tate hung up his flogger when his submissive sought out another Dom and landed in the hands of a serial killer. Convinced his lack of dominance sent his sub away, Mal has spent two years blaming himself for what happened. But when his best friend finally convinces him to go back to the local dungeon, Mal’s grateful. Especially when he wins beautiful, submissive, firmly closeted Kyle Bingham in a charity slave auction.

College grad Kyle hasn’t earned enough to move out of the loft his conservative, homophobic parents bought, much less to buy any of the other things still in their name. When he’s won at auction by the hot, amazing Mal, he’s shocked that anyone would want him. No one else seemed to—not his parents, his former Doms, or any of his disastrous dates.

But Mal does want him and Kyle lets his guard down, only to be outed to his parents. With his world crashing down, he must find a way to trust Mal—and their developing relationship—or risk losing everything.

This is a tender story about Malcolm, who lost his sub two years prior and has always blamed himself, and Kyle, a young sub from a wealthy family who hides in the closet so his parents don't disown him.

Mal is a real Dom. He lives the lifestyle full-time. Kyle is insecure and wants to belong to somebody. When Mal wins Kyle in a "slave" auction for charity, their connection is immediate, both as partners and as Dom/sub.

The falling in love is instant, and despite the intense BDSM scenes, sweetness abounds.

I liked that there were some "vanilla" scenes intermingled with the BDSM to show the development of the men's relationship outside of their Dom/sub roles.

Mal is a caring Dom, but Kyle doesn't trust that he's worth keeping. There's some drama at the end with Kyle's family, but the story ends with a nice HEA.

The only reason I'm not giving this story a higher rating is because hardcore BDSM doesn't appeal to me. I wanted more tension, a better-rounded plot, and fewer play scenes. I much prefer BDSM lite that's kept in the bedroom. Also, while Mal was a well-sketched character, Kyle read a little flat.

Just spectacular! I'm always so impressed with Grace R. Duncan and the beauty and intimacy with which she explores the relationship between her characters. These two men, they just work together so perfectly, it's an incredible story.

*wink* I don't know if I'll ever be able to look at a chess board (or play chess) again without thinking about edging... There was more edging in this book than I could have ever dreamed, and since that is my most favorite kink, that's really saying something. And wow, the depth which it's described by both the Dom and the sub - it was truly spectacular.

One of the finest S&M books I've ever read. From the Dom's pov, why he loves it and what it gives him; and even more lovely, what it does for the submissive, why he likes it, why he needs, it and how it makes him soar. Damn, it was well done.

I also really loved how Duncan explores Kyle's insecurities and really shows how his youth and inexperience play into the way he processes the changes in his relationship with Mal. From the moment he's bought at auction and everything he experiences, it is one of the most intimate stories I've ever read.

So I've read this book before, and the reason I re-read it now is because I saw it was narrated by Joel Leslie. He's so amazingly talented that I could literally listen to him read me anything and when I saw he narrated a Grace R. Duncan book I couldn't resist. He breathed so much life into this one, and he found nuances I truly didn't appreciate just by reading it alone.

This is an absolutely gorgeous BDSM story - 5 huge stars and one for the re-read shelf, every time.
As an audiobook - multiply my 5 stars by 5 more, because Joel Leslie adds so much to this one I am beyond stunned.

I can not rec this one highly enough, it's truly lovely.

Mal is still struggling two years after the death of his best friend and sub at the hands of a killer. Mal harbors a lot of guilt and has not let himself move forward. When his friends finally drag him out of his self-imposed exile to their club Mal can’t believe his luck to find the beautiful boy participating in their charity slave auction. Mal is instantly taken by the younger man, so different than the subs he usually goes for. He is immediately drawn to the boy and buys his services for the evening.

Kyle is a well-trained sub, but not very experienced, having only been out for a few years. He has trained with a straight Dom and his few scenes with Doms at the club have never resulted in anyone wanting him back. Kyle has trust issues and horribly low self-esteem from growing up with cold parents who only used him to help them look good in their social circle, but gave him no love or affection. He knows his parents will not accept him when they find out he is gay and since they own his apartment and his car, the fear of them disowning him before he can stand on his own two feet has kept him in the closet. Putting himself up for the auction is a big step for him and he couldn’t be happier to have the gorgeous, dominant Mal contract with him for the night.

Their intense scene at the club turns into a weekend neither of them wants to see end. Both are looking for more and they find themselves almost effortlessly slipping into a nearly 24/7 D/s relationship. Kyle finds it hard to believe that Mal would want to keep him around, even as he knows they are quickly falling for each other. Mal desperately wants Kyle and wants him to realize just how beautiful he is inside and out. When the actions of Kyle’s parents exceed all his worst expectations, his trust in Mal and the strength of their new bond is tested.

This story grabbed me from page one. Mal immediately knows he wants Kyle as both a sub and a lover. Kyle only hopes that Mal wants to see him more than once and doesn’t want to appear needy. The attraction between the two is instant and strong and their relationship moves forward very quickly. They discover that they complement each other well, not just as far as D/s play goes, but both work in the tech industry and are proud geeks. When they are not having sex, which is quite often, they are playing chess, World of Warcraft or watching Lord of the Rings.

The BDSM scenes were fantastic and intense, exploring a variety of kinks including edging and denial, wax play, bondage and lots of pain. Mal is a sadist and Kyle loves it. It wasn’t just the kink though; there were other vanilla love scenes that cemented the difference in the “Kyle and Mal” relationship versus the “Master and boy”. I thought both aspects of their relationship were very well written. One scene in particular that represents a major moment in the relationship, begins firmly in the Master and boy camp and seamlessly transitions to a tender, loving moment between Mal and Kyle.

Mal is fiercely protective of Kyle and also will do anything he can to help him believe in himself, including setting rules and showing those who rejected Kyle just what they lost out on. Kyle’s submission to Mal was a thing of beauty. I really adored these two men together.

Building the relationship is the focus of the book, with very little outside influences, other than Kyle’s parents. It worked well as far as making me comfortable with the fast pace of their bonding, but I would have liked to had a little more of a feel for Kyle’s life outside of Mal. Other than that small issue I thought Grace R. Duncan created a beautiful and loving relationship and I enjoyed every moment I spent with Mal and Kyle.

This was my first book by Grace R. Duncan but it definitely won’t be my last.

'The potent smell of sweat and sex filled my nostrils. His grunts and moans were music in my ears. And his face, his gorgeous face, glittering dark eyes, filled my vision. Then he kissed me and I had taste too.'

A feast for the senses. I was looking for a kink fest and this story hit just the right spot for me (excuse the pun).

Kyle and Mal grabbed my interest from the very start. Mal is a sadist and a Dom but left the scene for a couple of years following a traumatic event. His best friend encourages him to return to their bondage club for one night which happens to be the night of a charity auction. Mal decides to bid on Kyle and the sexual tension between these two guys sizzles.

Mal is drawn to Kyle and surprised by the intensity of his emotions. Kyle feels a similar attraction but struggles with self esteem and cannot believe that Mal might even consider a long-term relationship.

The attraction between them is instant and strong. Their relationship moves quickly and they discover their kinks and personalities complement each other. Kyle does not always enjoy what Mal has in store for him, but he revels in the intensity and appreciates the discipline and treasures that Mal frequently calls him Beautiful Boy.

Outside of their D/s relationship they share similar interests in tech, and a shared love of Lord of the Rings and a passion for chess. They find kinky ways to add spice to their hobbies too.

Their BDSM scenes are intense, Mal's sadistic temperament shines through, and they experiment with a great deal of edging and denial, some wax play, some bondage and lots of pain both pleasurable and punishment.

I loved the intensity and speed their relationship builds and that it takes them both by surprise. They are clever guys and they take care to ensure that the dynamic is not only Master and boy, but Mal and Kyle too.

I enjoyed the rough and tumble of Mal's family and his care for his best friend, and the contrast between Kyle and his emotionally distant family which plays into his worry that he's not quite good enough for Mal and possibly a bit too needy.

I really enjoyed this book, I was lost in it for hours and devoured it in a couple of days. It was a little pricey in my opinion but well worth the money. The kink factor was rampant but more importantly I was invested in the characters and their relationship.

This book was so beautiful!
With this book you get Malcolm who lost his sub two years before when he was killed by a serial killer. After that he stopped being a Dom and going to the club because he felt like he had failed his Sub. It took his good friends to get him to go back and the night he does it just happens to be the same night there is a auction. That is the night he meets Kyle and the moment he lays eyes on him he knows that he wants Kyle to be his boy.
Kyle is firmly in the closet due to the way his family is and knowing if he tells them he is gay they will disown him. But he cant help yearning for a Dom who will give him what he needs.
I have to say I loved these two characters! The way they were together and how you could feel how much these two really cared for each other.
The way this author pulled you into this story and the way she wrote these characters and their BDSM relationship was honestly beautiful.
There was one part towards the end that I was unsure of how I would feel after reading it because I have never read anything like that in a BDSM book before but the way the author wrote it I felt like it was done perfectly. I do not want to give away any spoilers because this book was just so good you really need to read this for yourself.

So I will leave this review with I really loved this book!
I would 100% recommend this book!
I received this book free in exchange for an honest review from Inked Rainbow Reads.

I've had this book for a long time and I finally got round to reading it....Don't know what took me so long...it was as Mal would say "Beautiful".....Kyle is a submissive and a masochist but he's also closeted....His parents wouldn't understand him being gay and would disown him...When he meets Malcolm Tate at a club during an auction he's met someone he finally clicks with seeing as no one else wanted him......Mal was pushed to attend after his friend Cam convinced him he wasn't to blame for the death of his last sub and friend Blake's death.....Mal and Kyle hit it off immediately and one night turns into a weekend which turns into a lot more......This book is mainly about their relationship...Kyle's submission....Mal's dominance and how they fit together....Mal always calls Kyle his beautiful boy.....The way Mal treats Kyle is simply beautiful and Kyle takes to everything he's given.....There's a lot of orgasm denial and a lot of punishment which Kyle takes to.....Although I love this book I think the plot with Kyle's parents could have been mapped out a bit more and made it a bit more angsty but in all it was done really well......Mal's family were amazing and I loved Cam and Sammy with Mal......A book i'll definitely be re-reading x

I can't begin to imagine suppressing a fundamental part of myself, of who I am, for two years. Yet that is exactly what Mal has done. He's blamed himself for not being a good enough Dom, and his sub went to someone else and ended up killed. However, his sub asked Mal for things he wouldn't do, and then broke all safety protocols when he met with the other Dom. Mal can't seem to get past this, or recognize his innocence, but he needs to, and his friends are more than willing to help him get back to where he belongs.

"You didn’t suck as a Dom. In all the time we’ve been playing, Sammy’s made me fly a handful of times. You? Every fucking time. Blake’s problem wasn’t that you weren’t a good Dom, Mal. Blake’s problem was that he wasn’t a good sub.”

I almost hesitate to say this, but it was beautiful watching Kyle and Mal meet, and then do a scene together. The dynamic between them was so strong I could feel the heat and chemistry coming off the page. Not to mention seeing Mal regain his confidence with a young man who is perfect for him, and watching Kyle get appreciated not just for his submissiveness, but also for who he is, was an incredible introduction into what I strongly suspected would be a powerful partnership.

This book is Unbelievably HOT in Audio..
The Audiobook Raises my initial rating of the book from 4 to 5 stars.
I was completely submersed in this book from the very start and did not want this book to end, I would Love to have another book, or even just more of these characters at some point. The narrator Joel Leslie just does an absolutely stunning job with the Dom/Mal and the Sub/Kyle's different parts in this story, making it a more than believable story between the two characters.. And getting to hear this story compared to just reading it, gives us a completely and totally different feel for the book; that everyone really should experience for themselves.
We get a good deal of actual story in this book mixed in with the relationship these characters develop with each other. But bottom line is we get a HUGE amount of sex and playtime in this book since the characters are basically living the lifestyle 24-7. If you Are Not looking for a BDSM book with a lot of sex, then please be warned now and pick a different book. LOL
Dom/Mal is finally brought back into the scene by his friends several years after his previous subs death at the hands of a serial killer. And he literally jumps right back in once he sees Kyle. They are drawn together right from the beginning.
I love all of the minute detail we get in this book about all of the aspects found in BDSM. At the beginning the Author tells us that this isn't really an instructional book on BDSM play and its really not. But we get so much detailed information blended into the storyline from start to finish about different types of play and how to make it safe and about different kinks and limits and how to make it work between two people. The knowledge that all relationships involving Kink, or not, will always be different from one couple to the next. Just an absolutely well thought out and well researched subject that comes across on the paper in this book so well, and is sooo damn Hot to read and hear..
Kyle is an absolutely beautiful sub, who at the beginning of this book hasn't yet had the chance to see just how far and deep his submissive side and needs run, until he meets Mal. At that point he starts to figure out he can finally be himself, without reservations, even if its sometimes hard to let go even knowing someone will actually be there to catch him when he stumbles. He just needs to learn to trust that Mal wont leave him like everyone else in his life. I really hated Kyles parents, and for me that part of the story was pretty predictable in how it was all going to play out, but I did like how it was written in and how it played out for Kyle and Mal after the fact of them being the horrible "parents/people" they were.
I personally really enjoyed this book immensely, especially in audio. But for sure there will be people out there who won't, so definitely go into this one with open eyes and if its not your thing *shrug* just move on to the next one...

Review by The Blogger Girls.

Malcolm is still feeling guilty over the loss of his sub whom he feels he pushed toward the dom who actually was a serial killer that murdered him. He best friend finally gets him to see how misplaced his guilt is and convinces him to go back to the club scene. It just so happens to fall on the night of a charity sub auction.

This is where Malcolm meets Kyle, a sweet sub that calls to him immediately. Kyle doesn’t have a ton of experience, and what he has isn’t the best. But he quickly sees Malcolm isn’t like his previous Doms and longs for more than just one night. These guys are really sweet together and exactly what each other needs. Kyle has a lot of things to overcome, such as his general feeling of unworth that has been growing for some time. His parents care more about status and image than anything else and are cold to say the least. Unfortunately, they own his condo and the car he drives, so he is somewhat forced to remain closeted where they are concerned for fear of losing it all.

Malcolm works hard to gain Kyle’s trust in the bedroom and out. Their relationship grows and does well until outside issues set them back. They share more of a total D/S relationship, meaning more 24/7 than just playing, although it is made clear Malcolm wants to know Kyle as much, if not more, than the sub. I really enjoyed these guys together and the story moved along at an easy and enjoyable pace. If you like sweet BDSM stories, this one definitely fits that bill. The story focuses on building their relationship and trust with lovely “vanilla” scenes intermingled with the interesting and sometimes intense BDSM scenes.

This was a lovely story about submission and finding compatible love and I definitely recommend it.

When I finished this book the first thing I thought was, "JFC, finally!" Then it was all about lamenting how a story with some decently hot sex scenes could be, on the whole, so much MEH.

I know the author's note at the beginning said this isn't a BDSM how-to book but OMFG did it read like one...which, yeah, that's kinda sad because it had some good points - like Mal stating he wasn't like those Doms that set up their Subs to fail so they can punish them (which I HATE) - and some delicious kink. But, between the excruciatingly detailed rules/instructions/explanations and the prodigious number of scenes, I think I was just numb to it all before we got half-way in! And, if it wouldn't zap me of my will to live I'd consider going back and verify that, if there is a generic "task list" of all things BDSM, I think this book checked off about 75% of them.

Probably didn't help that there wasn't much of a story besides all the fucking and Kyle actively hiding his orientation & lifestyle from his family.

Wow, this was an interesting one. There were lots of things (implements of torture hehe for Kyle, and HOW he coped I'll never know) in this one that I'd never read about before and knew nothing about, and the procedures/punishments/pleasures (the 3 P's) for a D/s relationship were gone into in great detail as the author lives the lifestyle. This is also one of only a handful of books that I've read which has been brave enough to actually mention the 'd' word - douches...not the sort of topic I enjoy discussing to be honest ;), but just think how many hundreds of M/M stories I've read...

I'm not normally a great fan of insta-love, but that was what these two seemed to have in spades, by the absolute bucketful. I thought Mal and Kyle made a great couple, Mal's family were certainly a handful, but I was a little disappointed by the guilty secret/tattle tale/Kyle's bigoted parents thread which made the story sort of fizzle out like a damp squib for me hence 4 stars.

i am bored to death.

after first 50% i wanted to dnf it because there wasn't a single thing i liked. I might not be fully into BDSM and it may be a reason for this only one star, but tbh there is almost NO plot here. they are fucking, talking about fucking or teasing each other. and seriously, they met, spent a weekend together and omg they were in love! sorry, but this is just ridiculous. i didn't like MCs, kyle was childish (a normal working guy who is living in his parents flat, who is afraid to even have his own life because his parents woould disowened him - like can't he rent a flat or sth?) I skipped A LOT because otherwise i wouldn't be able to finish this.
why ppl rate it so high?

4.75 stars for this lovely book. Great book from an author who is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers. This is the third book that I have read from her and each one is vastly different and I love that from an author. Malcolm and Kyle are so perfect for each other. They are halves of one soul and it was great to see their journey to their HEA. And add a whole lot of kink made it a whole lot better. Great read.

It was just okay for me, I was hoping for more of a story line than just the BDSM part of it but it was just the Dom and sub getting to know each other and Kyle following the rules and how hard Mal could push Kyle. To me hearing Kyle constantly calling Mal master was tedious and I felt my eyes wanting to roll every time and it seemed they were in a scene 24/7, I guess it just wasn't my favorite read, I was looking for something more substantial with the story.

REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE

Re Read on Audio for Prism

I reviewed the ebook version of A Beautiful Boy only recently and when I read back over what I had written I could think of very little more to say. You can read that review below

I would add that if you enjoy a well written BDSM story then Grace Duncan is certainly an author you should try. A Beautiful Boy is a beautiful story – a story of second chances and finding your perfect partner that fits into all aspects of your life.

Narration Review:

I felt Joel Leslie narrated well in this one. BDSM can be difficult to narrate and often times can sound stilted but that wasn’t the case here. At just over 11 hours Joel was a pleasure to listen to.

Two years ago Malcolm’s submissive left him for another Dom. This other Dom turned out to be a killer and his sub ended up dead. Malcom packed his tools away, packed that part of his life away and slowly turned in on himself as the guilt ate him up. Where once stood a confident and dominant man there now stands a shell. When his friends finally persuade him to give his old life one more try he ends up at the BDSM club on the night of an auction and something inside awakens with a bang.

Kyle is an inexperienced sub but one that is well trained. He has had the worst luck with Doms, they seem more like men playing a game, so recently has been has training with a straight Dom who puts him through his paces but it involves nothing sexual. Kyle relies on his parents for his apartment and car and as they are all about appearances he doesn’t dare tell them the truth about who he really is. Having a gay son is not on their agenda.

When Malcolm sees Kyle in the cage awaiting his auction he is more than a little drawn to the other man. Mal ensures no one else wins Kyle and they are contracted for one scene. That one scene turns into two, then three and before they realise it weeks have past and they have fallen into a pattern. Both men have a lot in common and they both fall hard and fast for each other.

Mal is a very possessive man and after two years away from the scene he can’t get enough of Kyle. He is intent on getting Kyle to believe in himself and rid himself of his habits of old where he thought himself not good enough. Their scenes are intense and the dynamic between them is written perfectly. For the first time ever Kyle considers being honest with his family, he is more than aware of what is likely to happen but he is buoyed by the support from Mal.

This is the second book by Grace Duncan that I have read and loved recently and I would highly recommend Beautiful Boy.

4 stars - combo audio / eBook Review
I started out just listening to this story but the narrator quickly got on my nerves with his wishy-washy voice. He made both Mal and Kyle sound like they were nasally and unsure of what they wanted to say, with quivering In their voices that did not add to the story. So I am going to say - skip the audio.

As door the written, which I went to about half way through the story. It was interesting. Lots of BDSM. New stuff for my brain, as stuff was brought into okay that I had to google (yes, I did) -- and afterwards I can say I have a new appreciation for the sadomasochistic relationship (Mal is the Sadist and Kyle is her perfect masochist). I also appreciated the realism of the story and think the author did a great job of portraying Safe, Sane, Consensual (even if what I thought Kyle did was beyond Sane, he wanted it).

The conflict in this story was about Kyle learning to accept himself, understand he was worthy, and then face his parents - who of course did not take his coming out with a grain of salt. Malcom was the perfect Dominant, although he was a bit off the chain at times (Sadist and all) his love for Kyle shown through in every action.

My problem with this story was the insta-love. I think it distracted from the BDSM relationship and took the quality of the story down a notch. Also, Kyle trusted Malcolm immediately and to me trust is something you work up to.. Build on.. And earn as the relationship grows. However, never having been in a BDSM relationship .. Maybe it's different.

Overall, 4 stars and a solid story!

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.5 stars

Normally, we save any quibbles we have with a story for the end, but I’m going to start with them here so I can get to the gushing. Basically, I enjoyed this book from the start, and I particularly liked Mal and Kyle. There were a couple of points where the story slowed down too much for me, leaving the narrative lagging. It’s also told in alternating first person POV, which is not something I personally always find appealing. Here it worked really well, for the most part, and the sections were clearly marked. But I did, on a few occasions, get confused and it pulled me from the story while I backtracked a few sentence to get my bearings. Now, these two quibbles were enough that I needed to mention them, and it brought down my rating by half a point, but other than these two points, I really, really enjoyed this book.

Mal is an endearing character to start the book. He’s had it rough, thinking that he pushed his friend and sub away and into the arms of another Dom. Who turned out to be a serial killer. I’ll admit that this part went really fast, and that Mal seemed to let go of his guilt after one conversation with his best friend, Cam. So it maybe didn’t have the weight it was supposed to for me. However, I did feel how much Mal had been missing by being out of the scene, and how good it was for him to get back in it. Mal’s sadistic side was perfectly balanced with his caretaking side, and he was a wonderfully nuanced and well-drawn character. I loved his instant and intense attraction to Kyle, and I love how he commanded the page when he was present. Really, he was incredibly well written, and I believed whole heartedly that he could have stepped off the page and into real life.

3.5/5. Highlights may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

Beautiful Boy by Grace R. Duncan is a BDSM club romance between Mal and Kyle, with insta-love, hurt/comfort, and oh-so-much CBT.

Overall, I really enjoyed the romance between these two. Not only do they suit each other well as Dominant and submissive, but they have a lot of interests and instaconnection that bodes well for them. Kyle and Mal are both nerdy, playing World of Warcraft together and enjoying the LOTR books. One of the ways their dynamic comes to be is Mal would read The Hobbit allowed while Kyle kneeled at his feet. It was so cute and I loved that they were both lovers, kinksters, and found out how to make their dynamic work best for them.

The sex scenes were hot, even though I myself was frustrated with how long some of the edging/denial periods were for Kyle, lmao.

The biggest issue is Kyle is closeted and it does come to a head. Personally, I do think that there was a rush of the ending to this conflict, the events that transpire are angsty, and then them coming back together is at the very end. In my opinion, I wish there was more time spent with the two of them being together after Kyle came out. Something I found interesting too is this is set before same-gender marriage was legalized federally, so they have a different way of showing life-long commitment.

I do recommend this, especially if you're into a kinky love story.

This was a pretty good read. Malcolm "Mal" Tate hung up his flogger for two years when his submissive sought out another Dom and landed in the hands of a serial killer. With the help of his friend Cam he decided to give it another try. Kyle is a college grad that is living in the closet because of his parents they would approve of having a gay son their are wealthy who look down at people who are different. Kyle has been unloved by his parents the few dates he went on they didn't want him and when his friend introduced him to D/s the Dom's that he played with found him lacking. Mal blamed himself for his former sub being killed turns out it wasn't his fault the sub was seeking dangerous play. This was a good read with a lot of sex scenes in it I mean on almost every page the sex was hot and I can admit that some of it seemed painful. These two went full on fast quick and hard. I liked both of these MC's a lot Kyle wanted to be loved he knew his parents didn't love him. I liked Mal's family they made Kyle feel welcomed and he was surprised that people would want him around. I have read a lot of BDSM books and this was a good one as I read and listened to it at the same time. I liked that the other put a disclaimer in the beginning. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I really liked the narrator Joel I have listened to some of the other books that he has done and I love his voice. This was my first time reading this author and I can't wait to read more from her.

5 stars for this M/M
If I could give this book 10 stars I would. I loved this book! I mean LOVED!!! I was drawn in from the very first chapter and I couldn’t put this book down. The blurb of the book tells you what the book was about. What it can’t tell you is how well the characters are written, how much of a connection Kyle and Mal have and how you can feel it the entire time. It wasn’t forced, it didn’t seem fake, it felt so real. This was one of the best BDSM books I have ever read, you could see that both Master and boy wanted to be there, that they wanted to please each other and they knew when enough was enough and weren’t afraid to stop things. Master/Mal and boy/Kyle were so beautiful together no matter if they were Master/boy or Mal/Kyle either way you could feel the love and passion between them. I will always think of this book when I see a chess set and watch any of the Lord of the Rings movies. Fantastic book.

Awesome, HOT and Sizzling.. Highly Recommended Book.
I recently purchased the audio for this and found it beautifully narrated.
A story about Malcolm who's a Dom, in the past he'd had a Sub that he loved but he'd found the Sub looked elsewhere and ended up in the hands of a murderer two years ago. Mal blames himself for his loss of driving the Sub away. His friends, Cam and Mistress Sammy missed him at the club and it was time to get back in the saddle.
They'd somehow gotten Mal back to the club on a auction night where Subs where auctioned off for charity. Mal caught sight of the 5 cage..there his heart skipped a beat, a boy or HIS boy sang to him to own him..
Kyle was looking for his own Dom and Master to please and one such man stopped at his cage.
As I've already said this is an awesome book and narration..

This was great.

Around the time they decided on a total power play weekend, I was pretty much burnt out on the scenes. They were hot...just was ready for the story to progress.

The serial killer, seemed a little ott, since it didn't really bring much to the story.

Even though the love, came on pretty fast paced, I still enjoyed it. The bdsm scenes were hot. Good story, and an enjoyable read.
