I won this book as a e-book from a site called library thing. It was a good military fiction book that takes place mostly in Europe and the Middle East. I enjoyed reading it. It had lots of action and adventure in it. I hope to read more books by this author.

The Saudi Strategy is another excellent example of Ethan Jones doing what he does best and that is writing tense, action filled spy thrillers. Justin Hall and his CIS partner Carrie O’Connor have naturally made more than a few enemies doing their jobs. None more dangerous than the Saudi royal family who they suspect of terrorist ties. Then there’s Russian billionaire Romanov who has ties to Carrie’s father's past. Forced to lie to Romanov, Justin enrages the oligarch. Ethan Jones piles on the action throughout this book and weaves the story around his characters never letting them, or us, know where or when an attack may come. Who exactly is gunning for them? How can they hope to escape when they can’t even contact each other? I enjoyed this addition to the series a lot and it just strengthens my belief that Ethan Jones is simply the best there is when writing this genre of story. Great characters, great plot, great action and great writing.

Justin and the Saudis

This story to me was somewhat hard to get into because of all the really complicated technical language and trying to pronounce all the different names that were presented at the beginning. But as the story progressed and the missions were explained more thoroughly I got where I was enjoying the story. Like the other stories of Justin Hall, there was lots of action, suspense, and shoot up bang bangs. One should read about however Justin solves this story’s mission.

A spy thriller at its best.

The question that keeps popping up as you read this book is will Justin and Carrie survive all these personal attacks against them, the odds are not in their favor.
While this series is best read in order, I had missed this one but found it was just as exciting as a standalone novel. I loved how detailed Ethan Jones is in every scene as he is able to make you feel like you are right there in the midst of the action.

Exciting!!

Once again I traveled to the far East and learned a little more about their cultures. Seeing Justin perform his latest escapade, I was totally shocked!! I can understand his mindset but it still surprised me. The pain that man has been through, both emotionally and physically, would drive anyone to do something he might not normally do.
And now Carrie might have a bit of competition?? Definitely need to keep following these two and see what happens!

After many attempts and failures, Justin will do whatever it takes to take out those who are after them and finish them all for good. But, to do that Justin must go against orders and become hunted by his own agency, but to enact his revenge that is what has to be done.

Justin Hall is again the center of attention as a crisis faces the nation of Canada. But most people don't know that there is a crisis. At the present time Justin is working on tracking down the terrorist responsible for attacks that happened in Book #7 of the series. In that book people close to Justin were killed and he wants to track down the terrorist and make sure that they can't hurt anybody else.

The question is this, is he tracking them down because of a sense of revenge or a sense of honor or a sense of duty to rid the world of terrorist? If he is tracking them down from a sense of revenge he needs to be careful. Revenge usually happens with a mind that is not totally focused on the best way to proceed and many operatives die because they get sloppy and make mistakes when acting out of revenge.

Justin and his partner Carrie are going to come under fire from not just one group of operatives but from at least two groups and maybe even more. The issue is that all these people get trigger happy and people other than those they are targeting get killed or wounded.

Can Justin and Carrie find those responsible for the terrorist work in Canada? Can Carrie find what she needs from the Russians in regards to the death / disappearance of her father? Will Justin step over the line and be booted from the Canadian Intelligence service?

Lots of questions, lots of action and as usual we find that Ethan Jones develops a story that is fast paced, heart stopping and also can add new characters to the plots that are happening.

The Saudi Strategy (Justin Hall #8) by Ethan Jones is a terrific fast paced action spy book. Justin's girlfriend is killed and Justin is out for revenge. This stirs up a man hunt for him and his partner, Carrie. Another group is also after him for another issue which you find out in the book. Then, his own company is upset with him for going rogue and out after him! This book has you from the beginning to the end! The characters are very well developed and the plot is full of surprises and ends completely but leaves you saying, "Oh crap! What now?!!!" Can't wait for the next book and I don't normally read books like this. I was given this book for a honest review. Excellent book. Had me up all night to finish it. Don't miss this book.

Sometimes things get a little violent but that's all in a day's work as he and his partner Carrie fight terrorists and criminal elite from Australia to Russia to the Middle East. There's a frenetic pace to the book as Hall desperately tries to stay alive and punish Canada's enemies along several fronts.
