this issue was decent - but I really miss the first couple which were page turners.

Well what I liked about this one was the portrayal of sleep deprivation using magical realism concept. I am a believer that a human needs their fair share of sleep and the corroboration of my faith in this edition was rejuvenating to watch.

Other than that I enjoy Esther's character so much because she reminds me of a one Raven Madison, who will always have a special place in my heart.

The night sequences are so relatable. That's exactly what the world looks like when it's your third all-nighter in a week. The ending displeased me greatly.

the Night World depictions were epic!!! Probably my fave from this series so far. Also Esther's eyeball boots are sick.

Two of my favorite things: Susan and sleep deprivation infused with magical realism.
The only thing that's missing is nasal spray.

This issue was about as pleasant as sleep deprivation unfortunately. I enjoyed the surreal night scenes in a visual aspect but I thought the story lacked that page turning suspense I've usually found in other issues of the series. It was like a long stretched out blah with a smash of wah at the end to make us feel like this went somewhere. Didn't love it.
