Kara Wright and Tien Tran, combat veterans of an elite intelligence unit, now make their living as Private Investigators. Often working the mundane, just occasionally they get to use all their former training.
"I'd like you to make sure the dead are really dead."
So it is that the enigmatic Franklyn tasks Kara and Tien to investigate the apparent suicide of a local celebrity. Within days the women are embarked on a pursuit that leads halfway around the globe and into the darkest recesses of the human condition. Kara, Tien and their team will endure mental stress worse than anything they experienced from combat and, like combat, not everyone makes it home.
...Wright and Tran are the best in the business. Andrew's own experience working with Military Intelligence provides his work with authenticity and heart... He is an author who can be relied upon to deliver a good - no, much more than that - a great read. The West Australian

What a ride! When Kara Wright and Tien Tran, partners in their new Private Investigation business, and ex veterans of an elite intelligence unit, were tasked with discovering if the man whose suicide note was found, the money missing, and the only witness positive he’d vanished over the side of his troller, they had no idea what it would lead them into. As they began the journey of following the limited clues they had, they first arrived in Amsterdam. It was immediately apparent they had much further to go, many more people to follow and incredible danger to face.
With Jacob, Toby, Sammi, Dinger and Chaz added to their team, Tien’s tech abilities kept them on the trail. Would they lose the edge they had through sheer distance? Would their cover be enough to keep them safe? What would be the outcome to this dark and devious case?
Flight Path is the 2nd in the Wright & Tran series by Aussie author Ian Andrew and it was brilliant! Fast paced, intense, full-on, dangerous and heart poundingly thrilling, the incredible plot kept my attention from the first page to the last. Highly recommended.
Another excellent read - very dark and some very powerful/scary moments.
My View: Dark, dark subject matter in a tension filled narrative.
Did I mention the word tension here?
This series is explosive! There was a moment in this read where I really had trouble turning the page – the tension was so high, my personal level of apprehension was past RED ALERT status as I feared for the life of one of the protagonists. I did not want to read what I knew was coming next.
Ian Andrew can you write a suspenseful, intense, contemporary narrative complete with a good dose of social commentary!!! WOW! Bring on book 3.
A journey into the depths of human depravity and its ability to linger among us. Intriguing and compelling I could not put this book down until I knew what had happened. The death at the end, I still can not believe it!
Another rollicking read from Mr Andrew. With his background in the RAF and Intelligence he gives a level of credibility that others cannot match. Vivid characters and plot - an absolute page turner.
